Youtube daily report Jun 7 2018

Hello!

With you is Larisa Levinskaya again.

And today, as you could already guess

looking at me.

I have only one side made up,

with make-up.

One side of the face.

And the other is not made up.

And based on the name

Today we will talk about the shadows for the ages.

Namely, this palette

from the series PRO Visage.

I've been using it for a long time.

Already, probably the second or third month.

Color I use №03

This is the "Daily Style".

Why did I decide to choose this color?

First, because my eyes are gray-blue

with a greenish tinge.

Accordingly, beige tones,

snails of the first pallet

I will not be suitable

for regular use.

Take a gray tone is "Paty Style"

(gray graphite tone)

also not quite right.

Because the eyes are gray, and we all know,

that you have to wean yourself

from the stereotype that the eyeshadow

must be chosen according to the color of the eyes.

Accordingly, there was just such a little

marsh shade of the third pallet.

I don`t include myself among those girls,

who are ready to pay any money for make-up.

And buy up decorative cosmetics

in huge quantities.

I prefer waste aids more.

This is a quality cream, a quality tonic for the face.

As for make-up.

I'll be honest, that I only have 2-3 pencils,

one mascara for the eyelashes in the cosmetic bag,

one set of eye shadow.

Maybe 3 to 4 lipsticks.

Depending on the clothes, depending on the mood.

Well, maybe the lip gloss... and that's it!

I don`t like decorative cosmetics anymore.

I'll be honest, it was pretty hard

go directly to these shadows.

In what way?

Those who have been in the company for a long time

probably remember that they were

chic shadows, fairly affordable -

baked eye shadow.

They were in round packs,

three colors.

I had these shadows, I'm not lying, since 2013.

I've used them for 5 years.

And used daily, regularly.

They were endless.

And, talked with people. All confirm the same fact.

That the shadows are literally endless.

The palette was bluish-blue tones.

I'm so used to this blue

color with a grayish tint

in front of our eyes, that

When moved to these shadows,

I guess I got used to seeing myself in a new color for a week.

Accordingly, the pencil has also changed.

I already use these shadows

not my usual blue pencil,

but this gray pencil.

The third tone from the PRO Visage series.

Because I tried with black, it turns out

a bit too bright,

especially now summer.

Still under these shadows, it seems to me,

my eye color is better suited

gray pencil.

How to use these shadows.

That's right, of course,

everyone knows this. Properly applied

the lightest tone

on the area .. on the inner corner of the eye

and the area under the eyebrows.

Then on the mobile eyelid we put

middle tone.

Here on the mobile eyelid

apply the average tone.

And already the corner of the eye

we put the darkest tone.

Also line along the growth of eyelashes

and wrinkles under the eyelid

(the upper eyelid).

Because I have oily skin.

And since I have a Slavic face type

with impending eyelids.

And since I have a Slavic face type

When I used this method of drawing

shadows, as it should be done

by all means.

Putting on in the morning, coming back in the evening

hours in 4 - 5. Look at the makeup.

And you understand that you have such a way of applying

absolutely not suitable.

Because whatever good shadows,

eyelids are fatty and it turns out that this fold

which we use the darkest color to tint,

it is printed.

This very light tone

under the eyebrows, too, is not particularly visible.

In this pallet.

I thought that you should not be a victim of fashion.

And I choose that method of drawing shadows,

which is most convenient,

most comfortable.

There will not be such negative consequences

call throughout the day.

And so if you have the same problem -

hanging eyelids and oily or combination skin,

in the summer, I advise you

Repeat my method of application.

It's as simple as possible.

In general, my morning make-up takes me

5 - 6, maximum 7 minutes.

This is an express make-up.

So, I take the lightest tone.

He is the extreme right on the pallet.

And I put it on the inner corner of the eye.

I will say that it is very convenient to apply these shadows.

In what way? They do not crumble,

well kept on the eyes,

The shadows are matte, but with a slightly light such

mother of pearl and I really like the sponge.

They are microporous,

of quality material made.

In a month you will not have wires sticking out of them.

and think what to do next with this sponge?

So, the inner side of my eye I lightened up

in the lightest tone.

Then I turn to the middle tone.

He's so ... a bit greyish-marshy

in this pallet.

And further on the middle part

century, rolling age

I put this average tone.

Then the darkest tone, graphite

it's the far left

using for corner eyes.

A little along the line of eyelash growth

lightly .. there will still be a gray pencil.

And this, in principle, you can not do.

And, maybe, a little more on the lower eyelid,

barely most edge.

All I did!

In order for the transitions to be softer,

clean part of the sponge

I do gloss,

I shade these shadows.

Well, here it is. I think how to use a pencil

I will not show you.

I think that it turned out as much as possible.

By the way, I`ll tell you that

When I just took these eye shadow,

I tried to use

from our all-time favorite set

makeup brushes

this is the usual brush

for the corner of the eyes.

Very convenient. Previously with baked shadows

I have always used it to

darken the corner of the eye.

In this case for these shadows this brush

absolutely not suitable.

Because you start to apply,

crumbling shadows

such grooves are formed

on the very surface of the shadows.

I realized that it was not effective, not economical.

I returned and use the usual sponge.

So this device is not especially useful for me yet

to use these shadows.

I hope that nothing is complicated.

And a very convenient way of applying

shadows for daytime, everyday make-up.

And now I want to tell you,

maybe this will be useful for overall development.

Someone may be interested in

history of cosmetics.

History of origin and application

eye shadows.

So, a brief history of eye shadow.

The first excavations,

confirming that the eyeshadow

existed in antiquity,

it was Messopotamia.

Back in those days

In the Mesopotamia women used

eyeshadow.

And made them

finely chopped stones

precious and semiprecious.

In ancient Egypt. We all remember well

the queen Cleopatra.

Unforgettable Elizabeth Taylor

in her role. Star of American cinema

the last century.

Eye shadows were very popular.

They protected their eyes from dryness,

from irritation,

and also on the existing in those times

legend, it was believed that

Eye shadow helps protect

man from evil spirits.

And, in ancient Egypt

eye shadow used,

Both women and men.

The composition was made of charcoal,

of zinc sulphide, of antimony.

But, of course, vegetable fats were added

and animal origin

for ease of application.

And this compound was used for

application to the eyes as

mascara, as a liner,

as a pencil,

and as shadows, of course.

Also apart from such black

of the classical color

the shadows made

based on malachite.

This stone is green, mineral.

And also based on lapis lazuli.

Also, these stones were crushed into small crumbs.

Then the next stage of development.

This is Ancient Greece.

In Ancient Greece is not such a tough climate,

not such difficult weather conditions

as in Egypt, so makeup no longer fulfills

protective function

At the same time, the mystical component disappears.

Women use more colored eye shadow.

And so popular is this cosmetics,

that it is part of the export

in ancient Greece.

Then, it's already Ancient Rome.

Mass of popularity and also

have been used as eye shadow

saffron and other vegetable components,

shredded in fine powder.

Then comes a big, big long period

The Middle Ages, when women were forbidden

look more beautiful than they are,

What they are born of nature.

Therefore, for the use of eye shadow

a woman could please the fire.

It was acknowledged as natural,

care for himself was punishable by all kinds of

measures. The new stage is the Renaissance.

Again, women start using cosmetics.

but eyeshadow was not particularly used

at that time. New Time.

More women focus on

attention to the lips.

And shadows, as a rule, are also not particularly used.

A storm of interest in eye shadow

appeared with the flowering of cinematography.

When women subjugated by cinematography,

wanted to look in real life also

as their favorite heroine

on the screens. And just at this time

all known Max Factor opens his boutique,

which offers women

variety of makeup.

And including it first developed

eye shadow most similar

in composition with the current shadows.

In this case, he had

eye shadow based on henna.

This idea is picked up by other manufacturers

decorative cosmetics

And eye shadow is becoming massively popular.

And now I think that

every girl in the cosmetic bag

You can find eye shadow.

even if she is a big fan of leaks.

As a rule, with shading, shadows are not used.

That's all I wanted to tell you today.

But, going back to the heroine of today's video.

to this pallet of shadows PRO Visage

company TianDe. Great shadows!

I recommend to use!

Enough for just for a long time.

The eyes are the magnets for the opposite sex.

foreign commerce for the purpose of engaging in illicit sexual conduct.

479 euro a testa. Dimezzato anche il premio del 4, pari a 167,47 euro finiti nelle tasche di 1

234 giocatori. I biglietti vincenti che hanno registrato la combinazione del 3 hanno invece conquistato 14,79 euro: in tutto sono stati 33

643 i tagliandi fortunati.

Dead Pedal/Kick Plate Review/Install RPM Tesla - Duration: 4:11.

we have one more goodie from our p.m. Tesla to give a try and that is the kick

plate styling Wow beautiful so let's see what exactly is the kick plate while

Tesla uses plastic kick plates kick plates are these camera dare oh yeah

that's a good spot there this is the kick plate or footrest depending and we

are here to call many different things so you got your pedals and you got this

now this is a manual car which it's not that's where your your clutch would be

but here is a nice footrest but it looks kind of crappy if you have one with

plastic so rpm Tesla has this beautiful kick plate accessory that is also

non-slip it's got the the rough grip ease on there it's curved so it fits

held on by nice sturdy 3m tape and that literally just fits on like that and it

looks beautiful now if you got a performance model Model S you already

have metal pedals I have an on performance so I have plastic pedals but

it will fit right in with your metal ones if you so do have it now to install

remove your floor floor mat now you're going to use something that's also

somewhat of a solvent like Windex to clean down the plastic the plastic plate

here because we want it as as clean as possible with like no oils or residues

and if it is kind of oily or if you've used something and you did something

kind of stupid like use our Merle which you don't use armor all on pedals then

where you put your feet things like that because it makes it slippery you're

going to want to use something like dish detergent first after that's dried then

you the Winx we're gonna peel off some of

this 3m tape here

there we go take his peel time to install

and that is it installation is complete the worst part about it was trying to

remove all that and it looks pretty darn good

so let's get a picture of it with my floor mat in

due to our lovely Wisconsin weathers I of course I'm using the WeatherTech

Floor Mats right now and does kind of cover up a little bit

of the kick plate but when I switch to summer mats this is going to be really

sharp looking and it I mean it looks pretty sharp already if you are

interested in purchasing the kick plate link is in the description box below two

LA MÁQUINA DE HACER TAREAS - Aprender a ser responsable - CUENTACUENTOS Beatriz Montero - Duration: 3:11.

Storytelling

One day a strange guy knocked on our door:

A very weird little man,

a bit taller than two matches.

He was carrying on his back,

a bag bigger than him.

Ahem, here I bring devices to sell,

said the little man.

Show them, said my dad.

This is a homework machine.

If you press the little red button

Math problems are solved;

the yellow button is to develop the topics,

and the little green button serves to learn geography.

The machine does everything all on its own, in a minute.

Buy it for me, buy it for me, buy it for me, dad!

Well.

And how much do you ask for it?

And the little man said:

I do not want money.

I just want your son's brain.

Dad's eyes went like that.

You are crazy.

Well, well, listen to me, sir,

If the machine does all the homework, all the duties,

What good is for his brain?

Buy me the machine!

Buy me the machine!

What do I want the brain for?

Dad looked at me for a moment and then said:

Well, take his brain and we do not talk anymore.

The little man took my brain

and he put it in a bag.

How light I felt without a brain!

So light that I started flying around the room,

if daddy had not caught me on time

I would have flown out the window.

You will have to put him in a cage,

said the little man.

Why? asked my father.

Because he no longer has a brain.

That's it.

If you leave him loose he will fly

and he will fly to the forests

like a little bird

and in a few days he will die of hunger.

Dad locked me in a cage,

as if I were a canary.

The cage was small, narrow, I could not move

The bars squeezed me, they squeezed me so much that ...

I woke up scared.

Thank God it had only been a dream!

Immediately I started doing my homework.

7 Career Essentials - Duration: 37:03.

Welcome to the 7 Career Essentials! Rodrigo Martineli here, founder and CEO

of the Career Ladder Institute.

I'm so excited that you are about to learn about this fantastic framework.

The 7 Career Essential framework is the foundation of the 7 Steps of your Career Ladder,

our signature program, designed to help you develop your career.

So, stick with me a few minutes and I'll help you understand this fantastic framework.

Also I would like to talk about how we can expand the knowledge and how important is that!

Do you want to make more money? Do you want to succeed on your business? Do you want to change

your life and, perhaps even change the world? That's what we are talking, we

should start with small things and that's what about this framework.

This framework will help you to change things right now!

That will increase the way that you are making things. Increase your productivity and help you to grow!

Before we go and talk about the framework, I would like to

share a little bit about me. So, Rodrigo Martineli, I am Brazilian

I live in the United States and I had the pleasure to live abroad many times.

I did live in Mexico and Argentina. And, yes, I do speak Spanish together with

Portuguese, that is my mother tongue, that, you know, a lot of people just don't know

that in Brazil we speak Portuguese.

I had a fantastic corporate career and I had

the pleasure to work in companies like EDS, Compaq, HP before I found the

Career Ladder Institute. Also, I want to share with you that's like a native

Brazilian, I love soccer but I love football and I love baseball.

I love travelling around the globe and, you know,

we love golf in this country but, that's not the most important thing that I want

to share with you. Yes, I have a family, I have two boys and I have my two dogs,

I have a wonderful wife, but my life was completely influenced by these three

people, in the middle, that's Dave and Bill Hewlett Packard founders. These guys

helped me to understand what does culture means, this strong culture at HP

helped myself to take risks. I took a lot of risks in my life and that helped me to

achieve my dreams. It's important when you take risks.

I'm not asking you to take any risk but I'm just telling you that taking risks for

me helped me to grow. Also, I want to talk about Steve Jobs, this guy has a

fantastic focus. We'll talk about that, he just emerged Apple from almost

bankruptcy to be one of the most fantastic companies in the globe. One of

the biggest companies in the globe. So, think about it! These three gentlemen

have a lot to teach us. Also, I want to make sure that you understand that, you

know, education is something very important! I had the privilege to go and

study with the best minds in the planet. That helps a lot! So, be surrounded of this

smarter people than you. That's another important advice that I want to give to

you. Now, let's talk about The 7 Career Essentials. We will start talking about

the very first one, that is the think positive, right? So, what neuroscience says

about brain? Here is the thing, the only way that you can put your brain work for

you is thinking positive. Do not let your brain works against you.

Thinking positive can be massive and can change your life. Maybe you are now just

watching me and thinking what this guy is talking about? So, let's do

a quick exercise. I want to invite you to not think about the red rose.

What happened? I know, you thought about that! You thought about the big red rose and,

do you know why? Because your brain just ignores the word NO. This time, when you

were thinking about the red rose your brain created an electric pulse. This

electric pulse is energy, and this energy connects with everything around you.

Believe me. That's what we're talking here. So, why waste your energy?

Why create bad energy thinking about negative things, instead of thinking

positive? This can change a lot, because you have your brain working

every time. Everything that you are doing your brain is creating electric pulses,

that's the way it is. Now. Again, as I told you, the brain just ignores negative

words. So if you say don't or no, you're just ignoring, and that's kind of

how it works. So, what you should do? How should you change the way that your

sayings things. So, change the way. Start to speak about positive things

that helps a lot. That will help your brain and your energy and your words

always to go to the positive side, because you are thinking positive! Now

let's talk about the "Three main rules of Leadership". Everybody wants to be a

leader. Everybody wants to grow on your career. I want to give you three, just

three tips that will massive change the way people perceive you. Because

perception is not reality. Perception is how everybody perceives you, doesn't

matter if you really are what they are thinking. What is important is what

you and how you are perceived by others. So, "The three main rules" are

Number 1: Listen with empathy.

Have you ever talked it with somebody that is just ignoring you.

Or it is just like a pole in front of you thinking about everything else,

but in your conversation. That happens a lot. Now, let's talk about

this. If you have a little bit of empathy and understand that the other person, you

know, would not like the situation. Why are you doing this? What I'm inviting

you is, you should have empathy with whoever you are talking. The way that the

other person will perceive you is key. The way that the other person is looking

at you will change completely the perception and that's important.

The number two is Never Justify.

Look, justifications will not change the end result.

If you are late for a meeting and you arrive late, why are you creating

all these excuses and stopping the meeting? Just to say you I had a

problem with my car. Traffic. Whatever. This will not change the end result.

You are late. And that kind of how goes.

Justification will just burn your energy, will not help you change the end result

and that's kind of what is important to think about it.

Instead of you think about excuses, think about how to get, you know, and speed up

in this meeting and make things happen.

Or think about how to avoid the next time to be late. Get earlier to work.

It helps a lot, right?!

I think you are laughing right now. Because, you know, that's the common thing

everybody says: I'm late! But nobody thinks, you know, you could arrive earlier

to avoid traffic, and things like that. And then, you know, you are at the end,

late. And you are thinking about excuses. So, stop making excuses.

Stop making justifications and start to act now.

And then the number three is: Always suggest!

What about we change words. Instead of as we say "I want to", we say "I would like to".

Instead of us saying "Oh, let's go to this path" say "I would suggest we go this path".

Or, "What about we go to this direction to fix this problem" instead of being imperative.

Let's suggest!

Suggestions can change completely the way that the people perceive you.

Because you are serving! When you are serving somebody, when the

leader is serving, helping everybody to go to that direction, you are serving.

And that's massive for you to be recognized as a leader.

So, that's "The three main rules of Leadership".

But I want to tell you why you should apply it. Let's talk about it.

Listen with empathy.

You make the dialogue comfortable. That's important!

You create the connection and you serve as a true leader, because you are listening. That's important.

Why not justify?

You're wasting energy finding excuses, instead of, you know, again,

you're not changing the end result. So, justifications will not help.

Does not change the end result, I've just said that, and creates the wrong impression.

Have you ever thought about that guy that has the best excuses of the world?

We don't want that guy being you, okay? So, not justify and always suggest.

Change the way people listen, in sense of team work and we change from "I" to "we".

So, look at this picture. "LET'S". 'How about it". "It's boring." "It's difficult". "Why don't you".

"What about". "Oh, please." "Why not?" "Why don't we?"

"It's no fun."

It is about the way that you speak. It is about the way that you are constructing

your sentence. This is the way that you are communicating, that's important.

That's why it's so important for you to have "The three main rules of Leadership".

So, do not forget: "Listen with empathy", "Not justify" and "Always suggest".

Those are "The three main rules of Leadership".

Now, love this topic.

Let's talk about "The four secrets to peak productivity performance".

This is amazing!

I want to teach you four things that can increase your productivity a lot.

So, "The four secrets" are: Focus.

Remember, we've just talked about Steve Jobs focus and how that focus helped Apple to be a giant.

Strategic disengagement

I want to teach you about Strategic Disengagement.

And how you make your brain works for you.

Balance. It is important to have body, mind and soul at the full balance.

And I will talk to you about it.

And, also the hard schedule. The hard schedule is a fantastic tool that can help you plan

the way that you spend your time.

Are you ready for that? Let's talk it!

Focus. Every time that you are doing something you must do it fully focused.

Multitasking just does not exist! It is scientifically proved that there is no

multitasking. Because, even though you think: Yeah, I do multitask. But one

or more actions that you are doing at the same time, it is just losing importance.

It is just losing quality. So, focus improves quality.

Be focused on the tasks that you have to do, one at the time.

Multitasking does not exist and will not help you achieve the results that you want, that is growth.

Let's grow on your career, right?!

Next one, strategic disengagement.

We've just talked about thinking positive and we've talked about the way that your brain works.

Let me talk about this. Let's spend just a few minutes talking about how important the strategic disengagement is.

Every time that you are in a meeting, your brain is engaged with the topic.

You are talking about the specific, you know, let's say the HR meeting,

and you're talking about workforce. The way that you incentive people

and everything like that. And then the next meeting is about, you

know, the operations. That has nothing to do with HR. It's a different part of the

company and you need just to jump from one topic to another. What happens?

Your brain takes five to ten minutes to move from top A to top key B. So, how you break this?

Strategic disengagement. Between these two meanings you need to

do a specific task, between 1 to 3 minutes.

A task that starts and ends in 3 minutes. This small thing changes the way that

your brain is operating. Because it is coming with topic A and you have this small

action that starts and ends in a very, you know, few minutes and then, you are

ready to topic B. This creates a massive change in the way that you spend energy

and, that's important, right?! So, the strategic disengagement basically

prepares your brain. Now, let's talk about the hard schedule. Hard schedule is

basically, I want you to use your calendar at your favor and not against

you. How do you do that? Here are couple ideas. Create a slot for commute. Create a

slot for lunch. Create a slot for email and create a slot for important tasks.

Where you will put focus because those are the tasks that, you know, you must

improve quality and you must be accurate. So, you should put focus in these things.

So, everything that you need to put focus, you should create a slot in your

calendar to make that happen. Hard schedule helps a lot, because,

you know, fulfills what we are talking here about. We are talking about how put

focus and how strategic disengage between conversations. That's a hard

schedule can help make that happen. Also, I have to tell you, the hard schedule,

you know, I've listening a lot about people trying to

move from one hour meeting to 45 minutes. That's a great idea, because then you

have a 15 minutes between one meeting and another to strategic disengage.

That's important, right?! Last, but not least, let's talk about balance.

Your body, mind and soul must be balanced!

I'm not a doctor. I'm not, you know, I don't want to talk to you about things that you might know. Doctor says

that, you know, you need to sleep at least seven hours a night.

Also, they say that we need to drink water.

Also they say that we need to exercise.

So, inviting you to think about how often are you sleeping?

How often are you drinking water? How often are you exercising?

This is important. If your mind, body and soul are not balanced, you

are not taking your life and career seriously and that's important!

Anything that you are doing needs to have a balance between body, mind and soul. Okay?

So, I really want to make sure you understand that.

Now, let's talk about the circle of influence. The circle of influence is amazing.

It is a tool that I always use in my life. And that's what I want to invite you. I want to

invite you not only to understand the tool, but also start to practice. You need to

start thinking about things using the circle of influence. And when it is a

habit everything will get easier. Are you ready to talk more about the circle

influence? I bet you are. So, let me just explain the concept, right? So, here's you,

right? This blue human being, right? Like Avatar, like guy. So, what is inside

the circle of influence? And inside means, you know, arm's length. Things that

you really can touch. Things that you really can influence, right? So, what is

inside? Your attitude. Your choices. Your priorities. Your influence in others. What

you can contribute to a better world. That's what is inside the circle of

influence. But now, what is outside the circle of

influence? That normally we can say that it is a circle of concern. State of the

world / economy. You know? If the economy crashes you have

probably zero control around that. So it becomes a concern right? The next thing

is the big company decisions. If your company has been acquired or it's gonna

merging or will do a spin-off or whatever will happen with your company.

Probably, you are not, you know, involved on that and, you don't have a lot of

influence on that. So, that's kind of, you know, out of the your circle of influence.

The traffic. Other's lives. So, you know, if your friend, if your family,

you know, they don't want to do one thing or another thing, you have no control of

that or whatever they want to do things wrong is it is out of your circle of

influence. And, the weather. So, this is the framework. Now, are you ready to put this

in an actual example of your life? Let's talk about it.

Applying the circle of influence in a situation like this.

You are missing a client's project deadlines by 80%.

What if you could reduce the damage and miss

only by 20%? Here's how. I just grab a piece of paper, you write a circle in the

middle and then you start to fill inside the circle you put things that you

really can make it happen. Things that you really can influence. Like, ask for

more resources, escalate delivery, discuss with your manager or key stakeholder the

situation of the project, the help that you need. Have an informal conversation

with client. Maybe this delay will not hurt a lot. Maybe it will, but if you don't

ask if you don't have an informal conversation about how things are going

you might have a problem, right? So, those are the things that you can do. What

things you can't do? Because, you know, outside of

this circle so, a part of the circle of concern. Unpredictable client reaction.

You don't know how the client will react when you just come and say 'hey, it is

late and it's completely delayed by 80%.' So, what will be the reaction? You

can even have a negative impact on your current deals that you are selling to

the customer. Also, you can lose credibility with your leadership if they

don't know what's going on. That's important.

You discuss with your Manager, Key stakeholder and you can lose your

reputation. Ahead we'll talk about reputation, but it's important you

understand that losing your reputation can hurt, a lot. Okay? So, that's the

scenario. Now, what if I tell you that this happened with one of my mentees. I

had a conversation with him in that day. I did ask him to put this thing and this

example is real. This happened the way that I'm telling you. Here are the things

that he did, here are the things that he noticed that could happen and, guess what?

He reduced the amount of damage by 60% and just missed the time frame by 20%.

That's why I think it's so important I share with you the circle of influence.

That was invented by Stephen Covey, in The seven Habits of Highly Effective

People. If you have never read this book, go ahead and read it. That's very

important, okay? Let's keep going. Now, it's time to talk about reputation and

credentials and why these two topics are so tight. I have a great example that I

think will resonate very well for you. Let's think about this. You have a bridge

and you want to cross this bridge. This bridge is your career path. In the other

side of the bridge you have the position that you want. You have the position that,

you know, your aspiration. It's your next career move. How you get there?

It is basically true reputation and credentials. Think about reputation as

the invitation to cross the bridge. How people remember you? That's important.

How they think about you. How they perceive you. It is critical. So, think

about this. You are doing a good job and you did a great project with great

results and, you know, they say 'Wow, I love Robert so, Robert is a great guy. Robert,

you know, did a great project' and, because of his reputation, they say 'Wow, we have

this new opening. Robert could fulfill this role. What about that? Oh, we don't

know but, let's put Robert in the process. Let's put Robert in the

interview process.' This is the ticket, this is the ticket that you need to

cross the bridge, right? But, you start crossing the bridge and you need to make

to the other side. You need to achieve what you want. You need to get the role

that you want. The career move that you are aspiring, right? How do you do that?

Credentials. Credentials will solidify the bridge. Credentials will make sure

that the bridge does not break and you get to the other side. Does that sounds

ok for you? So, reputation and credentials together are fantastic. Credentials is

helping you to succeed on your career and not failing. Failure is not an option

but, if you don't have the right combination about proven track-record,

education, reputation that will not make that happen for you. So, let's review what

we've talked. Building reputation and credentials is critical because

reputation is perception. Think about it. We've talked a lot about perceptions so

far. I want to make sure you understand that perception is a lot in this

conversation. So, reputation is basically result of perception and reputation is

also attitude. I need you to act differently. I need you to have positive

attitude. We'll talk about that in a few minutes but, I just want to start to

think about how important is the way that you act in front of others. That's

result of attitude. Now, the credentials. As I said, proven

track-record, hard skills. Where did you go to study? There's a lot of information,

books, you know, internet, web basic courses. There's a lot of things that you

can do there. Why are you not investing in education, in your own development? That's

important. So, hard skills are important. Credentials plus reputation: Success.

And that's what I want you to take. I want you to think about how you achieve

the next step on your career and that's true reputation and credentials, okay?

We are really going to almost to the end. Now we are talking about the Career

Essential number 6, that is feedback. You know, this is something that

everybody loves to talk about it but, we must be very very careful about how we

talk. Feedback can be fantastic and can be horrible. What I would talk to you

right now is about three things: how you ask, how you receive and how you give

feedback. The way that you do these three things are very important. But, before of

that, let's talk about the differences between feedback, okay? Basically we have

two different feedback the positive and the constructive. A lot of people think

the constructive is on the negative side but, here's the thing,

the feedback we have a negative feedback and we have a destructive feedback. And

that's what I've just told you, depending on how you say things, your constructive

feedback can be highly destructive. First lesson you need to understand that

you have these four types of feedback. The positive and constructive.

Positive feedback 'hey, you did a great job'. This is a positive feedback.

Constructive feedback 'you did a great job but you could may improve it this

and this thing because next time we think we can have an even better result.'

That's a constructive feedback.

Negative feedback 'hey, we missed the mark, we missed

completely the mark and, you know, we are just in trouble'.

The destructive feedback is 'you were so arrogant doing this, you know, preparation

meeting is that we miss the mark by so much that now we are

compromising everything'. You were just not, do you see. You are not just giving

negative feedback. You are creating entitlement. You are just putting

adjectives for that person and that is destructive. Negative is just about 'hey,

you missed the mark, that's okay. We always make errors,

you know, mistakes are part of the learning curve but, the way that you give

the message is important. The way that you say things is important. We've

talked about that. We've just talked about the way that we suggest and

justify. And, in right in the beginning we talked about thinking positive. So, you

know, everything the way that you we communicate with others it is compelling

for the result that you want to have on your career.

Okay? So, I think we are clear now. We have the positive and constructive and

negative and destructive. Now, let me just talk to you about that. Ask and receive.

When you are asking feedback, you need to be prepared to listen what you don't

expect. Don't come asking feedback thinking that somebody will just give

you positive feedback. They might have positive feedback but, they have also

constructive feedback that maybe you don't like too much. But, you know, it is

still good and they can even have a negative and destructive feedback and

you must be ready for that. But let me just talk, there is something that is

very important. If, in case, somebody is giving you a negative feedback or even a

destructive feedback that is bothering you a lot, likely a lot of people come to

me and say 'hey, you are arrogant'. Perfect, I mean, in the end if that bothers me,

believe me, you might be that adjective. You might be exactly that

adjective that the person told you. And maybe you are not realizing that. So,

watch out! If somebody tells you something, during this feedback process

that bothers you a lot, watch out because maybe that's true. Okay?

And when we are talking about the right way to give feedback. Do not accept

adjectives only. So, if somebody says, 'okay, you are arrogant'. 'Oh, great. That's amazing.

Thank you to let me know, By the way, why you think I'm arrogant? So, can you give

me situations where I was arrogant? That's the way that should go, right?

That's the best feedback you can give. Here's the way that we can use feedback.

First we must ask. It is important. It's the fastest way for you to learn about

things that you need to improve is true feedback. So, ask feedback is important.

The second thing. Receive. You must be ready to receive whatever is the feedback.

So, asking feedback and not being ready is a problem. You need to be ready to

listen to feedback, okay? And, last but not least, how you give

feedback. Giving feedback though adjectives is not okay. You should use situations.

You should use situations to reach the feedback and make sure the other person

has enough information to change. Make sense? Now, let's talk about the last

career essentials and I am so glad that you are sticking with me learning about

this amazing framework. Everything that we've talked it so far.

Think positive. Three main rules of leadership. Four secrets to peak

productivity performance. Circle of influence. Reputation and credentials and

feedback great things. But, if you don't change your attitude, everything that you've

learned so far will not work. You need to change the way that you act. Your

attitude must be positive. Let's understand why this is important, right?

Because if you say 'I can't do it.' Boy, you will not make it.

You will miss. Remember when we talking about your brain, in the very beginning,

your brain does not understand when you are saying things that, you know, he just

get the negative piece. So, do not think negatively.

Think positive. Positive attitude is everything. So, if you say 'I can't do it'.

You will not be able to make it. Period. Impossible and possible. Do not use the

word impossible. You know, even though other things that we think are

impossible today, the man is researching a lot and finding answers. So,

you know, I rarely use the word impossible. So, everything is possible

until somebody just say that, you know, it's completely exhausted and, you know,

it's not possible anymore. But, using these words will not help you.

So think about this. Attitude is a magnet. What you think is what you attract. If

you think will not make that interview. If you don't think about your career in

a higher stand or, if you don't think you are good enough. You will not make it.

Because what you think is what you attract. So, attitude is everything in

your life. I want to invite you to change

completely the way that you are acting and put a real dose of positive attitude

in your life. This will change a lot and you remember this video, with this guy,

with this funny accent, telling you: change your attitudes. I bet you remember

that. So, bear with me and think about it. How you can implement a attitude change

right now, okay? So, here's what we did today. We learned the essential, we learned a lot

of tips, we learned a lot of things that you can do right now. Also you learned ways

to think differently, and that's the ultimate goal that I have with this

video. I want to make sure you think differently, right? So, ways to think

differently on things is exactly what you learned. You learned that balance

is important. I bet you heard about that before but, it is important you

understand that body, mind and so must be in full balance for you to do whatever

you want. For you to grow. So, it is important you have full balance there.

What you can apply. Execution. Execute the circle of influence. Execute the things that

you learned today. That's important. Change the attitude and the way you

think to positive. This is amazing. It's a great opportunity for you to change the

way that you are doing things and do more positive things and thinking more

positive. That's important. Create a better perception. That's

fundamental for your career growth. Remember, reputation and credentials

right? Grow, achieve success. Whatever is the success you want, you can achieve it.

So, believe that apply all the things that you learn and I can, you know, I

think you can do massive things in your life. Because you can change your career

life doing the right things, and that's kind of one inviting you. Apply what you

learned today and lead the way. You can be whatever you want to be and these tips

the 7 Career Essentials will help you a lot to be there, ok? So that's kind of

my invitation for you. I want to close today's video just sharing with you that.

Welcome to the 4 Secrets of Peak Productivity Performance.

Rodrigo Martinelli here, Founder and CEO of the Career Ladder Institute.

Today I am so excited to have you here. We'll talk about one of the topics that I love so much.

We'll talk about how we increase your productivity ,how we can make you

have a big performance. Before of that let me just share with you this amazing

quote here Paul Meyer is saying that productivity is never an accident it is

always the result of a commitment to excellence intelligent planning and

focused effort why is so important for you to have high productivity levels

productivity is the base of your career and I want to help you climb the ladder

now let's talk about the four secrets of people relativity performance but before

of death I want to share a little bit about me

you know Rodrigo Martinelli I am Brazilian I live in the United States

and I want to share a little bit about my history with you so I had the

privilege to live in several different countries such Mexico and Argentina also

I want to share there you know I live here in North Texas and I really love

the United States it's been such a great place however I still love soccer all

ours Brazilians we love soccer right I want to share that I have a family right

so my wife I have two kids and also I have a true French bulldogs

one thing important in my life was always pursue education so I had the

chance to study in very important universities all over the globe but here

is the most important thing that I want to share about me today

I love these three guys these three guys are the base of who I am here in the

middle we have the founders of Packard daven bill these guys taught me

about risk they helped me understand with the HP culture how you can take

risks and be successful my life was all over risks I had a lot

of risks too in my my career and that's kind of what helping me to be where I am

also I want to share about Steve Jobs Steve Jobs is an inspiration for me he

helping me understand the meaning of the word focus

he helped Apple to get away from almost a bankruptcy to make Apple be one of the

biggest companies in the globe and here's the secret he just put focus when

he got on board back because he founded Apple he found a lot of problems and

most of the problems were in a diversity of the projects they were working in

several different projects and he put focus oh my gosh we are now talking

about four secrets of peak productivity performance and we are talking about

focus and guess what focus is important but I want to share something that even

important with you managing energy not time is the key to productivity when you

are managing your energy you are making a lot of things that are positive in

your life when you are managing energy and not your time you are spending and

investing energy on things that really can help you increase your productivity

now how you do it that's kind of a what I will share the four secrets will help

you not only save energy but I also have other things that will help in this

journey this section will be very very interactive however I understand that

you cannot give the answers to me but I have a few questions for you so let's

start with this one how often does low energy affect your productive

every day a few times a week a few times a month or rarely or never I want you to

think about it just a few minutes and think about what would be the answer for

you if you are thinking that energy is impacting your life a lot this is the

right place for you we will talk about how you can save energy now if you are

not feeling that in low energy levels we will help you boost the existing energy

that you have let's go to another question what do you experience when you

have low energy it is tough right but here's the thing I want to help you I

want you to think through the power of reflection I want you realize how

important is the things that we are about to learn right now have energy is

fundamental for you and here's why every time that you wake up in the morning you

are full of energy every time that you are going to the bed you are close to

zero how you spending the energy through the time of the day that's key and

that's kind of a water will help you understand today so let's go and go to

the last question before we get into the middle of what the four secrets are what

time of data you have most energy why this is so important because I want you

to realize when it's the time of the day that you are most productive and that's

important look I don't want you to think that you

know because we identify that you are a night person you should work just a

night but maybe you should just balance your things to find the right place for

you to execute tasks that demand more of your brain demand more of your energy

and that's why these extras is so important so think about it try to

identify what time of the day you are most productive this will help when we

talk about heart schedule so for now just identify the period where you have

the most productive most energy in your day so managing energy makes you to have

a big productivity performance are you ready to learn the four secrets we are

now going there so the four secrets basically will talk about focus remember

we're just talking about Steve Jobs we'll talk about this strategic

disengagement have you heard about that before if not that's fine I will help

you with that heart scare though that's a concept that many people use but now

you understand why that's so important also I will give you tips how to master

the heart schedule and balance body mind and soul why is so important you to

manage your body mind and soul and make sure they are in sync and balanced okay

so let's talk about focus every time that you are doing something and you

have an interruption you are losing force what happens

happens that you have a time to get focused your brain needs three to five

minutes to get focused every time that you are interrupted you need to rethink

you need to refocus right so we stay in the zone is so important stay and the

focus on is key for you to increase your productivity but how we can handle all

of these things how can we do how can we avoid that interruption how can we avoid

our email our notifications our multi tasking by the way let me talk about

this it's scientifically proven that

multitasking does not exist and now you can say well retrieval your

crazy you were saying that multitasking does not exist yes exists well in fact

when you are multitasking what's going on is that one or several actions that

you are doing all the same are jeopardize it

you are not having full quality in that task and that's kind of what the

sentence have proven okay so here are the actions close your email application

when you are doing something important you stop to be bother about new emails

coming every second that takes out your attention and put focus on the tasks

that you are doing silenced notifications it is important to you

understand that when you are doing something you are completely focused on

that a single notification can really make a real trouble in your brain so

when you have when you have a meeting when you are doing some specific tasks

put your phone to do not disturb I am always doing that when I have meetings I

just pull up my watch and I put everything under not disturb practice

that that is really important for you to increase your productivity this is a

great thing that I want to share with you brain scans show it juggling tasks

is reduced the brain power available for each overtime we have an injection of

stress hormones from multitasking and this can damage memory centers in the

brain focus on one task at a time for better efficiency and memory what about

that that's kind of what I'm inviting you focus and that's kind of some real

scientific data that you need to take care now I have another quiz question

for you how often do you allow yourself to be interrupted each day never 1 to 5

times 5 to 10 times 10 20 times or more than 20 times

think about it and put some notes it is important during this session that you

realize this reflection exercise that I am provoking to you I want to make sure

you are realizing how important this topic is for you how much time do you is

span to refocus 30 minutes 60 minutes 90 minutes more than 90 minutes wow if you

are really more than 90 minutes you are losing a lot of productivity and that's

not what we want so think about it again each exercise here has the objective for

you to reflect about what you're talking and realize how important is this topic

Falls okay so focus increases quality so here

here's what I want to tell you if you are doing more than one task at the same

time let's pretend that you are doing three just three tests at the same time

you are damaging that the quality of each of these tasks are not 100% here's

what happens you will have real work I don't want you to have rework I want you

to increase the quality of the tasks so that's what we call Foles get focus on

what you're doing separate some time for doing that right now let's jump to the

another secret for today we are talking about the strategic it is engagement

have you heard about that before I bet you didn't if you did that's okay but

what I want to share with you now it's so important the strategic disengagement

means that you need to give a rest to your brain now let's talk about that

energy and brain cycles so here's how happens the energy level here and the

time here okay so the peak of the productivity

happens between 90 and 20 and 120 minutes so every two hours every one

hour and a half to two hours you have a peak of productivity and you need to

have this rest zone to increase the productivity your brain needs some time

to ramp up on specific topics and that's kind of what happens so when you jump on

a meeting your brain starts to tune you into the conversation and adjust you to

make sure that you are really feeling what you need to know about that topic

to be you know a good participant after some time you are in the top of her

productivity now what God what happens you just move to another meeting your

brain is still tired with the previous topic so how you just make this rests on

happens earlier than the normal cycle that's the strategic to disengagement

the statistical disengagement is so important and this is not new look

learn are da Vinci every now and then go away have a little relaxation for when

you come back to your work your judgment will be sure since you remain constantly

at work will cause you to lose power of judgment Leonardo da Vinci he said that

years and years and years ago imagine if Leonardo da Vinci was living

these days Wow multitasking information age many things happen at the same time

how we control our brain how we make our brain have that rest zone in the middle

of everything happening that's kind of what I will share with you to be fully

engaged you must fully disengage periodically

remember the graph that we just saw you have no peaks and valleys and if you are

in the middle of the valley we need to disengage now let me help you

do that one two three minutes is to teach this engagement task what is that

you are getting out from a meeting you are getting out from a meeting that just

last 90 minutes now most likely you are going to the valley of your strategic

engagement you are just getting into the relaxed time how you do that how you

just move from one meeting to another and resync fast that's where the

strategic disengagement task comes I want you to stop and do one of these

things as a suggestion or read an article a 1 to 3 minutes article that

you just starts and finishes it in between 3 to 4 minutes it's fine or you

know play a mobile game that is just you know just one to three minutes game a

short game because this will help you get out of the previous topic but focus

on something and then move out again to the next topic this has a lot of

benefits for you or even what your Facebook feed or watch a YouTube video

or something like that things like that are powerful to help

you resync for the next desk of course we want you to stretch drink water

you'll get fresh air and so because we want you to have a balanced but the most

important thing is with your brain now one action that you can apply right now

to help you have more time instead of forget one hour appointments get 45

minute meetings this will give 15 minutes between your previous meeting

and the next meeting this will help a lot because one will give a chance for

you to have a break two will give a chance for you to have a strategic

disengagement task and tree if the meeting gets the layered you are okay

because you have space between the meeting and the next meeting what about

that that's not new but what I want to do is I want to make sure you understand

how you can apply this to teach disengagement right now

let's let's talk about again let's make this again more interactive how often

the u.s. strategically disengaged to recharge during a typical workday three

or four times daily all sort Weis a week few times a month

never I want you to think about it and if you said one of these three answers

if you weren't certain like one of these three you need to start to increase this

petition to this engagement right now and you will see massive results on your

productivity okay are you ready to go next let's talk about the hard schedule

hard schedule by definition is I want you to create hard is lots in your

calendar I want you create a space on your calendar to execute specific tasks

and I want you to think about how you separate time for the most important

tasks that you have on your work on your personal lives I will teach you how to

do that or at least I will give you suggestions about each slots you should

build on your calendar okay so here is the five type of slots that I want you

to build in your calendar number one work hour is lots I want you to create

you know you have the ability to share on your calendar in your corporate

calendar what are your work hours normally you

know you just can put 8 to 5 that's fine it is important for you to show to

others what is your working time it's ok if you work 9 to 6 or 10 to 7 whatever

is but it is important you show the work hours what are your work hours to others

in the company the second thing is that transfers the commute slots I want you

to create a commute slot and silently there that

you are out of office during the commute because these will avoid people to

create appointments on top your fure commute it is important you have your

one hour 30 minutes whatever is the time that you are commuting into your

calendar okay lunch times lots look you have a lunch time while you're not

taking oh because everybody goes and put appointments on my calendar well if you

just block that well if you just block the lunch time nobody will create any

appointments on your lunch time and you have the chance to go and get ready for

the second half and that's kind of what happens you come in the morning you work

for hours and then potentially you should have some rest

remember your brain needs some rest your body needs you know new fool how we do

that lunch time so this will make a huge difference in your day right so create

the lunchtime slot in your calendar is keep emails logs now let's talk about

why it's so important you to have emails lots look don't tell me that you are

using your email application to organize your life no I'm not talking about the

calendar I'm talking about your emails many people just work through their

emails and that's not the path I want you to understand that you should but

focus as we just talking and then a way to execute focus is to create is lots

four things are important for you as we just talk it the work hours the transfer

the commute and the lunch time but email reading is a very important thing in

your day right so what you should do you should create a two to three tournament

slots to exclusively read emails and capture actions that you need by the

emails right so this is lots we will use the following way if you find an in

that you can just promptly answer you are doing that if you find email that

needs some work what you're gonna do is you will create is lots specifically to

work around the issue that are presented by the email makes sense and that's kind

of what is so important the last one that you do is lot think that you just

identified one of these situations that I just told you about the images you

identified a big issue and you need to put some time on the calendar so you

just save one hour to do that that's what we are calling to do is lots you

create specific is lots to help you execute the tasks that you need right so

just recapping work hours your calendar application has a way for you to

identify your work hours for your colleagues it is important also I want

you to work through and certain create some slots about your commute time in

the morning and in the afternoon the lunchtime slots are very important so

block your time to prevent people by pointing a meetings of your at lunchtime

but also to give the rest for your body and your brain that's important emails

lots created for safety times for you to read emails this will help you to be

more productive and last but not least created to do is lots owns you identify

important tasks you create a slot specifically to be focused on that heads

down make sense now what do you have your

attention on I want you to think about it look it is important you understand

that and now I want you to list everything that is on your mind

everything so create a list of things that you are thinking right now I would

like you to ask you to pause this video think about it try to spend probably

five minutes there and come back and watching us talk to you in a minute now

that you are bad let's talk about the results of this exercise first of all

what did you notice about doing this exercise what did you find in your head

do you have more or less in your head than your fault it is important to you

understand that because if you have a lot of things on your head that you are

just not executing probably you are missing and if you are missing you are

impacting your performance remember I am here to share with you ways to increase

your productivity performance to have a peak on that and that's kind of what is

important so if you don't have a list of activities if you don't have a list of

traduce you will have a potential problem a potential performance fall and

we don't want that make sense so before we move to the last secret I want to

share with you another great concept the power of compassion Compassion's great

energy incompletions drain energy so you must have more compressions than

incompletions every time that you get worried about something that you did not

complete this will impact your energy every time that you conclude something

you will have extra energy it's like playing video games every checkpoint you

get a new life okay it's exactly that way it is and that's why the video game

is give that for you because every time that you have a new life you are you

know conditioned to think hey I am advancing I have more energy to keep

playing that's the idea behind the video game okay

you don't have to finish something to complete if you completed just one step

if you complete a step of a plan that's fine and this

give the same energy to you so think about it the small steps energize

so every time that you are getting small steps concluded you are getting more

energy this helps you a lot helps your brain and another important thing you

need to be an action manager instead of a task manager you need just to take

action and execute that instead of a create more and more tasks it is

important you have the difference between action and tasks a list of tests

must be actionable and must be executed okay unless well not least I want you to

have a weekly review or maybe twice a week one in the beginning and not in the

end you should have a weekly review take back your life and that will help you to

plan the next two weeks because calendar is king the way that you plan your life

to your calendar will decide if you will be productive or not okay now let's talk

about one of my favorite chapters of this these four secrets the balanced

body mind and soul I want you to understand how important is that but

guess what I am NOT a doctor I just want to give you four things underneath the

four secrets about how to have this balance okay are you ready before then

as always I want to make it is a lot of interaction with you even though this is

a video I want to be more interactive with you so think about this what would

you do if you had 30% more energy 30% more energy to spend on whatever you

want you get more done at work you go to more social events if we spend more time

with friends and family you exercise more often or anything else think about

it offering to you 30% more energy what

you're going to use that spend with your kids spend more time at work go more

social play soccer I love soccer what you're gonna do think about it it's

important this reflection what should we balance I want to talk to

you about these four pillars of the balance we need to have a physical

balance a mental balance emotional balance and I also talked about

creativity what about that so usually we talk about body mind and

soul so body mind and soul is a combination of these four things and I

will talk to you about each one and how it can help you move away from an

imbalanced life and have a more balanced let's talk about this right now

physical just three things and again I'm not a doctor but I want to make sure you

understand that so you need to remain hydrated drink more water I'm not

talking about drink soft drinks drink juices I'm talking about drink water you

should drink water every day and a lot of water and guess what Coffee

dehydrates so if I'm not wrong one cup of coffee with water right there's water

there but the Coffee dehydrates you and you need probably if I'm not wrong ten

cups of water just water to hydrate your body what about that that's important

exercise at least three times a week again guys I'm not a doctor

but for you to have a physical balance you need to exercise at least three

times a week and now so you need to asleep at least seven hours a day not

like Garfield that loves asleep the whole day but you need to

seven hours a day at least to be healthy so that's kind of for the physical

balance that I'm looking for with you drink exercise drink water exercise and

sleep okay so now let's talk about the emotional it is so important you have

emotional balance so how do you pursue emotional balance is spending more

quality time with family and friends doing what you like it's one way

gratitude so guys let's have a lot of gratitude about the things that you have

maybe you are not in the right moment in your life in a good moment but look

there's a lot of great things to celebrate so gratitude is very important

and that helps a lot your emotions in practice the circle of influence have

you ever heard about that stiffen code we talked about that in the 7 Habits of

Highly Effective People where we have the concept of the circle influence

things that you can have your arms language the things that you can

influence right now things that are not under the circle of influence that are

outside the circle of influence you should not worry because that's called

the circle of concern so practice the circle of influence what you can do what

you can impact an influence do it right now what you can't you can't simple like

that ok now let's talk about bento meditation it's so important you stay

with yourself many people can do it but you need to do it you gotta understand

and get to know more about you the better way is meditation by the way I

have another thing to tell you a great mental exercise is running because it's

you with yourself running so it is important I you know it's not a

meditation but I would at least if you cannot meditate

if you can run I think that would be very nice and mainly running outside

will help you a lot with you know your mental balance

if so teach to disengagement I just taught you some tests about how you is

to teach disengage that's important to help your brain gets healthy and use the

energy of your brain at the best way as possible we use your brain at your favor

not against you and it's to teach this engagement helps you with that thinking

positive always look for the head full of the glass yes problems everybody has

I understand that but you always need to think positive if you start to think

parts of things will change in your life so and this will help you with your body

mind and soul so why not why not have a positive attitude that is different than

just thinking positive is having the attitude about make things happen

positive attitude as we're talking in the cemetery essentials also helps with

you know the execution of things so think about it meditation or even

running it certificates engagement thinking positive and positive attitude

can help you to have a mental balance now let's talk about creativity why is

so important we have a balance in our creativity well maybe you don't realize

but even if you think you are not so that creative you have a creativity our

first has so look let me just give you a few things a hobby it's important you

have a hobby something that is very different from your work in my case I

really like to play video games and drive my drone so I have a drone and I

like to just get outside and the beautiful days and pilot the drone

that's amazing that's a hobby so you should have a hobby the other thing is

learn learn different things learn things that you are completely

you know that you don't know the exist that's another great thing that will

help you increase your creativity and that will give you a lot of benefits on

a balance and last but not least life purpose so what is your mission what you

want to do what you want to accomplish that's important and you should be

focused on that there are many exercises for you to find your life purpose so go

ahead and do something like that think about it how been asked of this

can be okay so you learning a lot about the balance today now I want to give you

one last device and basically the most important one take control now

if you are not under control a situation you don't know what do next let me just

give you an example this thing a Fitbit the health bed I use this you know many

many years ago I start to use this and I start to use this to have control of my

steps to have control of my sleep time and now you can say Rodrigo you're just

talking about balance and you are going back about how to take control of her

body yes I'm talking about that but I want to talk about another thing as well

I want you to take control of your schedule I want you to take control of

your tasks and here's how and remember I told you not use your calendar to help

control your life and now I will give you a to to you I will give you my

friend piece of paper I print my diary as you can see here and then this

template paper template I just print out and I have on my table here's where I

put whoever I need to call or email the actions that I have to do the actions

that I should or I can delegate to somebody else and also the parking-lot

that either will serve as a zone that I can use after I figure out on my column

a or an or this will fulfill the tasks for the

next week I have a piece of paper like this every week in my desk so I really

want to make sure that you understand this I don't use any electronic way to

organize my traduce I use a piece of paper with pencil with pen over my desk

and that's why because I want I don't need to get access to an application to

see what's going on next on my life I want to take a look on my list here and

that has improved significantly my performance if you want to have this

template I know it's pleased to do but I can give to you for free just send an

email to me Rodrigo at Coronado Institute comm and I will mail back the

PDF with this format okay now let's go and talk about the closing of our

session today I know it was a lot of information but I thought was important

to share with you a conclusion of the four secrets and then what I will give

to you is the secret the action that I want you to apply right now and why

that's so important okay so let's start here focus it's important you to be

focused on your tasks so the action is close your email application while

you're doing something important do not get interruptions why is that because

this improve quality okay second secret is to teach you disengagement change

your one hour meetings to 45 minutes meanings this will give 50 minutes for

you to recalibrate your body your mind your soul and also use one of the

strategic disengagement tasks why is that because this is required to prepare

your brain remember we need you to have conversations and meetings at your peak

Fairbrother productivity in your brain okay third heart scare though creates

lots I gave you five ways for you to create slots on your day-by-day why this

is so important because this will reduce reward once you have focused slots to

read emails to have in specific to do tasks this will reduce reward because we

will do right 'once okay and last but not least balance physical emotional

mental and creativity energy I gave you ways for you to apply right now this

will help you to increase energy owns everything is balanced

you will face dramatically change in your life to the peak productivity

performance so it is so important to you understand that balance is not it's not

a coincidence that is it the last thing balance is the base of everything that

we talk at today okay so I hope you enjoyed today's video and as always I

want to make sure that you know how to reach us out so we have our website

career ladder institute comm also our digital channels and if you want to have

that that template Rodrigo at Carolina Institute Paul and I will mail to you

also if you want to give some feedback about this session I am looking forward

to that thank you so much bye-bye

They're comin', They're comin'

And I'm running, I'm runnin, from the voices in my head

From this burning, burning hell

Somebody keep me from, keep me from, keep me from

Baby save me from myself

Somebody save me from, Yeah save me from

They're comin' for me again

They're comin', They're comin'

And I'm running, I'm runnin, from the voices in my head

And oh baby, lord take me keep me from this hell

And ooh baby, ooh baby Save Me from myself

And I go to sleep wondering what the day gonna bring

I feel the rain like I feel this pressure on me

So much anger that I can't contain

I got danger running through my veins

They're comin' for me again

They're comin', They're comin'

And I'm running, I'm runnin, from the voices in my head

And oh baby, lord take me keep me from this hell

And ooh baby, ooh baby Save Me from myself

Waking up wonderin' when its all gonna end

I take pain like I take this pleasure of mine

I got strangers livin' in my bed

I'm a stranger in my own head

★ HOW TO DRAW HANDS | TUTORIAL | ENGLISH SUBTITLES| MILI KOEY - Duration: 11:09.

Hi everyone, I'm Mili Koey. And in today's video I bring you a tutorial that you have asked me a lot

and it's about how to draw hands!

this video I will explain both the basic structures to draw hands and various styles

and also how to get your hands a little trickery so that your hands work better

so that they are more dynamic and also some tricks that I use to get my hands out

a little better without having to be ultra realistic, so I said all this: BEGIN!

The first thing we're going to see is going to be the basic structure, as you all know we have the hand

It differs in different aspects so just like we did with the body we are going to try to do

geometric shapes to understand it and about that and each one can adapt that form,

structure, whatever, in your style and what you want but starting from a base that more or less I think is

universal and I'll explain how it's done

well the first thing we are going to do is a circle that we will use as a path for the palm after

we will double the size up and to mark where our thumb will go we will create an angle from

the center of our circle and to get the inclination of the beginning of the fingers we will follow the form

of this one and in the part of above we will make this form like roof that will serve us a little as of top to know

where will the fingers go and we repeat this form in three sections that will serve us as a phalanx for the

fingers, remember that the thumb only has two phalanges.

And once we have all this structure all we have to do is pass it clean a little at ease

and already knowing if we want to mark a little more what are the phalanges or leave it a little more smooth

or more stylized or whatever

It is important that we take into account this inclination that told you about the beginning of the fingers and especially that

let us realize that our middle finger is the longest finger and it is not the index, that there are times

confusion with that and it is very important to know that difference because you will stay very much

more realistic and good will be understood if you really know how to draw a hand if you have this difference

controlled

Of course, this is just one of the many

structures that we can find

and it is also true that we do not have to close ourselves only to make a type of structure and that's it but that there would be

For example, depending on the type of hand, I can do more to make a different structure according to

whatever the pose and what I find most comfortable, for example, we have structures from a little more

geometric, volumetric to one that are with circles to mark what are the phalanges.

To other people who directly use as wire or

lines that mark us in the direction and on that already they construct a little the part of geometric

so I advise you to look for your own structure and make a mix of everything that

you consider it much more comfortable to draw.

A trick that serves me a lot to make the theme of the fingers, the tips of the fingers to give me

more volume and above all to mark perspectives, is to make this form

in particular, it's like the curve goes inward on one side and on the other side

excels and is quite useful

Another quick trick that I could tell you is that when we make a closed fist it is very important to know

how are we going to close our little finger that because there are times that we leave the

little finger like hanging and the truth is that it does not work like that if we close the fist, our little finger

as it hides and come out as a kind of wrinkles around

so you know if you want to make a closed fist and you'll see the little finger, keep in mind

that the little finger also closes in

The next step will be to explain a bit how we can get a movement with our hands

because just as with the human body the hands also

if they stay stiff they are pretty

static and they are pretty bad and if

we try to give it a bit of dynamism

we are looking for a line of action or something like that they will always be much more fresh, much more dynamic

and of course much more alive.

The same we already have with our body when we want them to have movement, it is that we make a

line of action in the hands we can also use this resource

and this is going to give us

It will help us to make an inclination and it will give us

more dynamism than if we just make a hand and that's it but if the movement continues

It will be much better.

Something that we have to take into account is that for example, if we have our hand almost always at the end

we always have the same tendency, the thumb

the thumb and forefinger that are usually the predominant fingers of our hand

It really is the one that marks the direction and is really the one that leads the movement and normally the others

the other three fingers are a little the companions given also the little finger is considered and that the ring

they almost always go in blocks because they are

harder to control by themselves also depends on each person maybe there are people

They know how to move the ring finger alone.

but usually they usually go together so that's important for when drawing

because you are going to understand a lot better how a hand works

if he followed this natural movement that he has.

A trick so that it stays in your hands less rigid

that I give a little more "chicha" to the drawing is that if we make a fist for example, like this,

but nevertheless ledebe to close it completely we raise a finger breaking a bit what is

the visual routine that we generate a little the series, will always generate us a little more dynamism

in our poses if we break a bit with the ...

... I do not know how to say it with the visual routine ... I think if you understand what I say.

Obviously there are millions and millions of different hands and not because

draw a hand a little more cartoon means you draw worse hands

on the contrary, they are simply different styles so I'm going to put a few examples of

different hands according to different styles and you will see that all really if you understand the structure

and how it works, it will not matter if you're going to make it realistic or you're going to make it very cartoon or

disney classic style because in the end if you know how a hand works you will be able to simplify it

or complicate not ...

As...

I do not get a specific word ...

and

Well you have understood me, no? make them a little more complex, more realistic, with more volumes and things

and all this that is more theoretical and such

it really would not make much sense if you do not put it into practice and that means you have to draw

a lot and you have to practice a lot, at first the hands are going to come out a little churros but little by little

you have to go up the level, if at first you do not know very well how to draw hands, try to look for hands

flatter with some twist or something much simpler and when you already have a higher level or confidence

you understand the structure very well, you can risk doing anything

to make already foreshortened hands in perspective and in slightly more complicated poses,

so I say that I'm going to go step by step staggering that s

As I always tell you, I always end up saying the same advice and you practice a lot ....

if you can dedicate even five minutes to

draw hands every day before we start to draw the illustration or what I'm really doing

if you dedicate five minutes, two minutes to make a pair of hands, to release especially the hand,

again, forgive the redundancy

or it's going to be super good and also, for example, something that comes in handy for me is doing

lots of hands even if it does not turn out well. The important thing is to be fluent and

practicing, practicing, because little by little they will come out better and for the subject of references

you have a lot, Internet luckily is full of images so you can take directly

references of photographs but if you find it a bit more complex due to the fact that it has more folds

and a little more realistic, I also advise that it is something that helped me a lot and motivates me is to take

illustrations of your favorite illustrators that you really like how your hands work and

practice with your hands, try to copy your hands of your illustrations, another idea that the

I've been seeing, I have not put into practice, is that you think the structure in the hand

and you do photos with the structure because maybe not

if you take out of a photo you are not able to visualize that structure

but if you paint it on your hand, maybe when you take a picture of yourself or move it or

get in front of a mirror

I serve you so

It is also that, to observe your hands very much with the painted structure or without it, at the end

anyone that you see that is drawing something, you are going to see that that person either puts

weird expressions because he's trying to make the expression of the drawing he's making

or he starts doing strange things with his arms because he's trying to understand how it works in that arm

Anyway, I'm going to leave a few pages down in the description box

where we have many hand references so that each day or each time you can dedicate

you are copying those hand and you will go practicing little by little and you will see, I assure you that if you practice

every day a little bit, little by little you are going to see that you are going to take

hands of the head because you are memorizing

constantly

nd well I think I've already said everything, anyway and I forgot something Mili of the future of the edition

will add it I hope this tutorial has helped you that you have understood me and

that have been made enjoyable and above all that if you put it into practice serve you

The truth is that I'm not a super expert at drawing hands either, but the truth is that since

I thought about the structure and in these exercises I already tell you to copy another artist and such

get a bit of the classic idea of ??copying the human body ... but make it a little more dynamic

and more fun, it has come to me super well and I have improved a lot

And of course do not obsess about the style, you do not need to draw realistic hands

if you really do not want to draw realistic hands, if what you want is to draw cartoon

you can draw cartoon hands and learn with those hands and they are no longer obsessed

know a perfect anatomy, but good if you know a little more realistic better because it is easier

adapt it to other styles

but well you understand me that you do what you want and have fun at the end

So well, I do not roll up anymore, I hope you liked this video, if so, please give it to him
