hey everyone its Ian K back again with another one for you a cheater cam style
headed into jack-in-the-box after hours to check out the Cholula hot sauce new
new that just debuted on their menu that's right guys it looks like the
buttery Jack and their fries are getting a little heated thanks to the Cholula
hot sauce brand so let's see what these are all about after we set ourselves up
through that drive-thru yes hi peep this out can I go for the Cholula hot
sauce buttery Jack with no tomato and I think I'll go for the combo and go for
the Cholula fries with a Coke Zero with no ice looks good great thanks now the
buttery Jack is one of my favorite burgers here at jack-in-the-box by far
but with Cholula hot sauce yeah my interest is definitely piqued hey my
friend good hey do it tonight you got beautiful hey real quick let me ask you
the cheese on that burger is it pepper jack yeah it looks like it is
beautiful cool thanks man Cholula's the jam I'm looking forward to it it's
awesome not yet not yet well Cholula sauce for sure I mean it's good stuff
but on a burger we'll see thank you brother

jack-in-the-box let's peep this out
hola amigos for the first time ever Cholula hot sauce is teaming up with
jack-in-the-box the fan favorite buttery Jack is getting a heated upgrade here at
jack-in-the-box with the all new Cholula hot sauce version and I gotta say guys I
am definitely smelling a little bit more heat in my car on top of the awesomeness
that is that garlic butter let's lift their signature bun here and
see what we've got on the inside looks like lettuce a normally tomato and it
looks like some crispy jalapeno pieces actually there for a little bit of added
heat on top of the extra Cholula hot sauce there we've got some pepper jack
cheese as confirmed through the drive-thru and definitely a nice cheesy
situation for sure and more of the Cholula hot sauce there as well
underneath it as expected more Cholula hot sauce I think I'm in for a really
really nice heated treat with this one guys it definitely looks good and it
smells good definitely dig in the presentation on that and on the side
we're gonna be going in the Cholula hot sauce fries which is basically their
popular garlic butter on top of some salty hot fries and of course you've got
the Cholula hot sauce to go with but again a very lovely situation here as
well and pretty much the perfect complement
to this overall combo so there you go guys it's the all-new Cholula hot sauce
buttery Jack and Cholula hot sauce fries here at jack-in-the-box let's peep out
this flavor the new Cholula buttery Jack part of the buttery Jack family it sure
does smell beefy as well as heated let's dive in it's the all-new Cholula hot
sauce buttery Jack here at jack-in-the-box
mmm oooo there comes the sizzle on this one it's got a nice back burn after that
first bite but I got to be honest I think most of the heat is coming from it
looks like these sliced pieces of jalapeno yeah that's definitely not an
onion guys I definitely is a jalapeno and ma'am
oh man on its own it's pretty concentrated with the Cholula hot sauce
but aside from that definitely diggin the flavor of the beef patty here on top
a bit I'm not really tasting any garlic butter on this one because of the strong
sizzle from the hot sauce itself but man the flavor is pretty awesome on this
yeah that jalapeno is super strong on top of the Cholula sauce guys very tasty
though well as you can see on the very top of the lettuce there guys what
appears to be fried onions is actually fried jalapeno pieces they are
definitely heated and I got to say they go very well with that
Cholula hot sauce as a backup just in case you don't get enough of that sauce
anyway you are definitely gonna get some heat from this one of course you've got
that beef patty which is definitely the signature jack-in-the-box flavor and
although I can't really taste any garlic herb butter on this whatsoever because
of the heat it really is a pretty tasty version of the buttery Jack with that
Cholula hot sauce I'm really liking this and just for the record I can't even
taste the pepper jack cheese on this because of how strong this fried
jalapenos are working with that Cholula hot sauce it's a nice combination and
while it does look great for advertising it really does kind of kill the other
flavors on this burger especially the garlic herb butter which I can't even
taste it all let's go for one more bite one more close up and then we'll get
into the fries so it looks like the pepper jack cheese is gonna be the glue
to hold everything together on this one and it is definitely a nice creamy
flavor overall and it really adds to the overall experience of having this with
Cholula hot sauce and the fried jalapenos because you're getting that light
creaminess on the back end so it really is pretty tasty on top of the flavor of
the beef so now let's see what the Cholula hot sauce can do to their fries
here at jack-in-the-box you know what this would be good on fries too yesir
I see you curly fry hiding out there in the bottom you are definitely the first
one to go let's see what the Cholula hot sauce brings to this party yeah you can
definitely smell the garlic butter on this one as well as seeing it on the
very top let's see what this one brings to the party with one of the seasoned
curly fries first mmm absolutely before I even get into the regular fries I'm
very surprised they didn't do the seasoned curly fries as the regular
version with the Cholula hot sauce and that garlic butter because the seasoning
from the fries goes amazing with the light spicing that I'm getting in the
background it's not as strong as on the burger because there's no fried
jalapenos on this but man I am really digging that let's get into the regular
fries and give that one a shot this is a little bit of everything right now guys
the Cholula hot sauce fries here at jack-in-the-box Wow mmm mmm rich buttery
oh my god this is evil this is straight-out evil right now
delicious salty hot a little bit of spice on the back and a lot of garlic
butter flavor this is actually better than the burger guys I got to be honest
I'm really digging this a lot amazingly good hmmm decadently rich thick and
buttery guys this is an evil side dish to get with this combo and I see why
they have it positioned the way that they do
the flavor is off the chart it's a very thick garlic butter and I really really
dig how it really interacts with that Cholula hot sauce you're getting just a
little bit of the sizzle in the background but way more buttery flavor
than anything else like I said it's very evil and I'm not mad at it because it's
after hours and I feel a little mischievous right now but I got to say
guys it's a lot of fun eating this and this is really the highlight of this
combo nothing against that buttery Jack I definitely dig that version with the
Cholula but this is easily what I'm gonna be getting again this is really
really great I guess this one kind of gave itself away a little bit because
the garlic butter is a lot stronger on the fries than on the burger especially
when you open up the cartons but man the flavor like I said off the chart guys
decadently rich easy recommendation on these easily hmm yeah these are
definitely not gonna make it home I can tell you right now guys I'm probably
gonna knock that off pretty quickly but what do you guys think are you guys a
fan of Cholula hot sauce in general how excited are you to actually give the
versions over here at jack-in-the-box a shot buttery Jack being a favorite of
mine is pretty awesome but with Cholula hot sauce pretty decent
but what do you guys think of the burger as well as the fries using Cholula hot
sauce drop us comments down below and definitely let me know and as for the
overall rating on both of these starting off with the Cholula hot sauce buttery
Jack I'm gonna have to go with a decent 7.5 out of 10 on that one
now don't get me wrong it's a pretty tasty burger but that combination of the
fried jalapenos and the Cholula hot sauce I think is just a little too much overall
because it really does drown out the other flavors most mainly from the
pepper jack cheese and while I do understand that's the glue that holds
everything together like I always say everything else is pretty much muted
although you do get some nice flavor of the beef on the back end still just a
little too strong for me and as for the Cholula hot sauce fries
guys that's a pretty easy one that one's gonna get a rock-solid 10 out of 10 I
can't say enough good things about that one the flavor is truly off the chart
and if you guys have a jack-in-the-box in the area
I would definitely swing on by pick those up ala carte you will thank me
for it trust me they are that good and those are my thoughts on the latest here
