Youtube daily report Mar 16 2017

Now let's turn to David Trim for a look at Adventist history.

This week, find out how Ellen White, co-founder of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, was inspired

to write one of the denomination's most recognizable books.

This week was a crucial one in Adventist history and theology

On March 14, in 1858, Mrs Ellen G. White was in the community of Lovett's Grove, Ohio,

speaking in a schoolhouse (which you see here) when she was taken off into a two-hour vision.

In it, she was shown events over a vast time span, from Lucifer's fall from heaven to the

inauguration of the new heaven and the new earth.

Instructed to share what she had seen, six months later Mrs White published a 219-page

book under the title Spiritual Gifts, volume 1, but its full title was "The Great Controversy

Between Christ and His Angels and Satan and His Angel"s.

The "great controversy" theme, first presented in the Lovett's Grove vision, became the overarching

theme of all Adventist theology.

Ellen White kept expanding the published version of the vision, publishing "The Great Controversy

between Christ and Satan", as we know it today, in 1888 and a final edition in 1911, not long

before her death.

For most of this week, from March 15 to 20, in 1870, the eighth General Conference Session

met in Battle Creek, Michigan, attended by 22 delegates from eight conferences and two

missions, representing 5,440 church members.

The president and secretary, James White and Uriah Smith, were both re-elected, but THIS

man, Eli S. Walker, the General Conference treasurer, was not.

Walker had been the first GC treasurer, serving two one-year terms, from 1863 to 1865, but

then in 1869 was elected treasurer again.

But having served one term, in 1870, he was replaced by THIS man, Goodloe Harper Bell,

who also served only one term before being replaced, but went on to become an important

pioneer Adventist educator.

And that was this week in Adventist history.

20 SECRETS About The Making of Beauty And The Beast (2017) - Duration: 6:33.

Disney's live-action remake of one of their most treasured animations, Beauty And The

Beast, must have been a formidable challenge for the filmmakers as they had to decide how

to re-imagine iconic characters, scenes, songs, and locations from the 1991 Oscar-winning

movie.

Yippee-ki-yay, movie lovers, it's Jan here, and in my last video I revealed some incredible

facts you probably didn't know about Disney's animated classic, but now, in this video,

I want to let you in on some amazing secrets and facts about the making of the new live-action

Beauty And The Beast.

Costume designer Jacqueline Durran tested lots of different shades of yellow on camera

before choosing the final colour for Belle's ball gown.

Once that was decided, the dress took 180 feet of satin organza, 3,000 feet of thread,

over 2,000 Swarovski crystals, and more than 12,000 hours to make!

Gold leaf filigree was also printed on the top two layers of the gown in a design which

matched the ballroom floor.

As for the dress Belle wears right at the end of the movie, the print for that was actually

based on an original 18th-century apron that the film's costume designer bought during

her student days.

The household objects like Lumiere, Cogsworth, and Mrs Potts were brought to life using a

time-consuming mix of computer-generated effects in post-production and solid models during

on-set filming.

For example, a real version of the wardrobe Garderobe was built and rigged with pulleys

and various devices so she could move on set.

But, when we see Garderobe dress Belle, that was created thanks to the magic of visual

effects in post-production.

As for Lumiere, the filmmakers wanted to incorporate actor Ewan McGregor's personality into the

singing candelabra, so they used performance capture technology to film McGregor moving

and dancing how he thought Lumiere would.

Also, before filming began, McGregor and the other actors who played the enchanted characters

recorded their dialogue so it could be used as a guide for the cast and crew during the

actual shoot.

So, when Dan Stevens was filming a scene with Lumiere, for instance, he was acting opposite

an LED light on a stick and hearing McGregor's pre-recorded voice!

Then during post-production, McGregor and his fellow enchanted character actors recorded

their dialogue again so it matched the tone of what was happening on screen.

Apparently, the most difficult object to design, according to director Bill Condon, was Mrs

Potts.

Although the animated version of the character has a spout for a nose, Condon told the Hollywood

Reporter that when they tried that for the live-action version, she ended up looking

'like a pig', and he added that 'there was no way to make that spout nose appealing in

three dimensions.'

When you see the servants in their human form, do look out for how their costumes and hairstyles

mirror their appearance as enchanted objects!

For example, the buttons on Cogsworth's human costume have Roman numerals on them, just

like his clock-face.

And the design on Cogsworth's waistcoat and epaulettes also echoes the pattern we see

on him when he's a clock.

And if you look at his hairstyle, you'll notice that it's inspired by the shape of Cogsworth

the clock's head!

Bringing to life the Busby Berkeley-style song-and-dance number, "Be Our Guest", was

a massive challenge that took the movie's crew six months to prepare, one month to film,

and more than twelve months to finish.

When I spoke to director Bill Condon recently, he said that initially they did consider creating

the Beast using prosthetic make-up, but because that wouldn't have allowed a subtle facial

performance to come through properly, they didn't pursue that option too long before

deciding to go high-tech and combine physical and facial performance capture to bring the

Beast to life.

The physical performance capture part involved Stevens acting alongside fellow cast members

on practical sets, which was anything but easy as he had to wear 10-inch metal stilts

as well as a prosthetics muscle suit that weighed 18kg and a grey Lycra bodysuit covered

in visual effects markers.

And beneath all that, Stevens also wore a special cooling vest which the crew plugged

in between takes to help regulate his temperature.

The second part of playing the Beast took place later and began with Dan Stevens' face

being covered in phosphorescent make-up, which looks blue in ultraviolet light.

With his special make-up on, Stevens then acted out all his scenes again, but this time

he did so from just the neck up, sitting alone in a booth, surrounded by cameras to capture

his facial performance, which the movie's VFX teams then used to give life to the Beast's

face on the big screen.

Belle's hometown of Villeneuve was built on the huge backlot at Shepperton Studios, and

was the movie's biggest set, measuring over 28,000 square feet.

And that size was certainly necessary for the film's first musical number which features

over 150 extras, hundreds of animals, 28 wagons, and a myriad of highly-detailed props and

set decorations.

When it came to designing the fictional town's look, the movie's production designer took

inspiration from a village in the south of France called Conques.

The film's story is set in mid-18th-century France, so for the look of the Beast's castle,

the art department was heavily influenced by the very ornate Rococo style popular during

that period and which included lots of intricate designs, curved shapes, plant motifs, and

gold.

As for the castle's ballroom, that features a 12,000 square foot faux-marble floor with

a pattern that was actually inspired by the ceiling design in a Benedictine monastery

in Bavaria, Germany.

And the ballroom's ten huge chandeliers are based on ones from the Palace of Versailles

in France.

The set for the enchanted forest around the castle features about 20,000 icicles, a frozen

lake, real trees, and a pair of 29-foot high ice gates!

It was built on Shepperton Studios' biggest stage, which measures over 9 and a half thousand

square feet, and it took the movie's crew 15 weeks to make it.

Before filming began, director Bill Condon worked one-to-one with each of his actors

to fine-tune their characters' personalities and backstories.

After that, the cast did a table read of the full script and they even performed some of

the musical numbers in full, giving the read-through the feel of a live concert for the movie's

crew!

By the way, that musical read-through took place on the 15 April 2015, which, coincidentally,

was also the birthday of Emma Watson who plays Belle, Luke Evans who plays Gaston, Emma Thompson

who plays Mrs Potts, and Nathan Mack who plays Chip.

Now, have you seen Beauty And The Beast yet and do you like how it's been adapted?

I lost your words of kindness in the darkness

Even your final prayer quietly vanished

Dawn is far and you are alone In a dream without exits

Only tears illuminated your path

There's a song that withers away without reaching anyone It all ends without even a single sorrow expressed

You simply cried silently

A noise is cut short and someone counted each time it happened

My fated one who brings the light isn't coming while the stagnated time is frozen in spots

With a blade that honed my fears in my hands You and I are hurt again and again

while holding each other

Your voice crumbled away without getting anywhere No one even noticed your disappearing

as you became another number so casually

I believe that you'll be by my side someday in the light

We have no forms We'll go to a world that has one

I searched for the path that we'll return on someday

I forgot the voice of someone who is kind Searching for it, I wander on a path that is far too long

You simply cried silently My path came to an end before long

Trump is doing what no president before has done He's asking the American people for ways to cut the - Duration: 5:45.

Trump is doing what no president before has done Hes asking the American people for

ways to cut the size of government

Do you remember the last time a president made a direct appeal to the citizenry for

help in accomplishing a campaign promise?

Me, either.

Thats because it hasnt happened in, like, forever.

But President Donald J. Trump just asked the American people to help him achieve one of

his principle campaign promises: Making the federal government smaller and more efficient.

As reported by the Washington Examiner, the president made his appeal Monday, inviting

the public to help him find ways to reorganize the government and slash waste, fraud, abuse

and duplication to save taxpayers billions of dollars per year.

The effort, embodied in an executive order titled, Comprehensive Plan for Reorganizing

the Executive Branch, is part of Trumps push to slash the federal budget, which is

said to contain a historic downsizing of the federal workforce.

(RELATED: Trump budget takes axe to federal workforce.)

One official told the Washington Examiner, All Americans will be able to submit suggestions

and ideas on how to make government work better for them.

The effort will be led by Mick Mulvaney, director of the Office of Management and Budget, a

budget hawk and former member of the House.

Based on this input, we will develop a detailed plan to make the federal government

work better, reorganizing, consolidating, and eliminating where necessary.

In other words, making the federal government more efficient and very, very cost productive.

So were going to do something, I think, very, very special, Trump said after signing

the order.

Lest some critics see this as little more than window dressing, there is every reason

to take Trump at his word.

First and foremost, Trump pledged early on to drain the swamp in Washington, and

while he was, in large part, talking about the special interest infestation in the nations

capital, he was also referring to reductions in the size, reach, and scope of the federal

bureaucracy.

To that end, Trump told business leaders in January that he hoped to slash federal regulations

piled high during the Obama years by as much as 75 percent.

BigGovernment.news reported:

In a meeting with business leaders in the White House, Trumps first official full-day

in office, the billionaire real estate mogul-turned-politician said he thinks it is possible to cut three-quarters

of all federal regulations, and maybe more while still ensuring that Americans are

safe and protected.

Next, a look at who Trump has appointed to be Cabinet secretaries tells us a lot about

his cutting government mindset:

EPA chief Scott Pruitt, as attorney general for the state of Oklahoma, regularly sued

the agency he now runs, to fight back against job-killing over-regulation during the Obama

years.

Indeed, Pruitt who, like the president, correctly notes that so-called climate

change is nothing more than an elaborate hoax aimed at killing off capitalism and controlling

the population wants to refocus the agencys attention on its founding purpose: Ensure

that clean air and water regulations are enforced, which will necessitate reductions in funding

and staff.

Energy Secretary Rick Perry, former GOP presidential contender and governor of Texas,

is also not duped by the global warming hoax.

As Energy secretary, no doubt he shares Trumps vision of curbing regulations so that the

countrys energy sector can thrive.

Like the president, he understands that energy is the engine driving the American economy.

As governor of Texas, an oil-and-gas-producing behemoth, he also knows how restrictive energy

regulations can be for the industry.

Education Secretary Betsy DeVos is a school-choice, local control advocate, meaning she will push

for policies that devolve control from Washington back to locally-elected school boards, where

education decisions should be made.

(RELATED: Just two men are preventing school choice in Texas.)

Parents know better than any politician or administrator the unique needs of each

of their children, DeVos said, speaking to The Council of the Great City Schools,

a group of the nations largest urban school districts.

Time and again, when parents are empowered to take charge of their childrens education,

when they have quality options we see the results for students.

For me this is just common sense.

When you wield less regulatory authority as a federal agency, you necessarily require

fewer personnel and a smaller budget.

Dr. Ben Carson, head of Housing and Urban Development, knows as a native of Detroit

the failures of federal housing policy.

And while he didnt actually live in public housing growing up, he lived in the next-closest

thing, and still in poverty.

So he knows better than any recent head of HUD how flawed the departments policies

are and how they actually serve to keep people in poverty, not help lift them out.

Like The New York Times noted, Carson rejects, not embraces, programs that once helped sustain

him and his family growing up.

Colony - ALIEN'S FACE YOU MISSED - Duration: 3:55.

Hello everyone.

I have been crazy busy in the last month and I am finally catching up to Colony now.

This is one of my most favourite series.

If you haven't watched it yet, you should really start now.

Season 1 was a little bit slow, but season 2 has picked up its pace.

And trust me, it was worth it.

I LOVE this series.

It reminds me of the 5th Wave.

Oh, and they have also added Haley from One Tree Hill to their already awesome cast from

Lost, The Walking Dead, etc.

Anyways, ever since the beginning of this series, we have been hearing about the aliens

aka the RAPs, but we know very little about them.

We know that they have been watching humans for a long time before the Arrival, where

they eliminated ALL the military or any kind of soldiers who can fight them back.

And after they have taken over the earth, they control humans through humans.

Only a few higher officials have seen them, and even THEY saw them in their suits, not

their real face.

WE have never really seen them too.

I mean, yes, we saw them in a suit in the season 1 Finale and season 2 premiere, but

I am talking about inside that suit.

At least that's what I used to think up until now.

I would to give a shout out to TheyGoWhootnnn, who pointed it out to me.

He said in his comment, "You should make a video with the pictures of the aliens.

In the first episode, you can see the aliens face through the mask for a few seconds when

Snyder meets the alien, and when Katie receives her welcome into the Greatest Day, the vision

is of her turning into an alien, and if you pause and freeze frame it very slowly, there

are 2 or 3 shots of an alien without its space suit on."

And that's exactly what I did.

While I don't think that the aliens will turn humans into one of them, because they

are egotistical bastards and want the humans to worship them, I do think that I saw the

alien too.

I'll play it in slow motion.

Just look at the left side of Madison.

She seems to be looking at the alien.

Can you see it now?

Now let's take a look at the alien who met Snyder before the Arrival.

Just look at the lowest half of the helmet.

You can almost see the eyes and the head.

His head looks so small.

So they are small in size and they use a robotic suit to make them bigger.

It reminds me of Zords from the Power Rangers.

But if they are so small, why do they wear a suit which is so huge for them?

I think there are 2 reasons for that.

1) It gives them a humanoid look which makes it easier for humans to follow them.

2) It keeps them alive.

Remember how back in season 1 Finale, when the resistance removed this device from the

Host's suit, it died.

So, may be this suit is the only thing keeping them alive here.

They need this device too.

May that's why the hosts were so afraid when they found out that the resistance has

that device, because then they will figure out how to kill them.

So, what do you think of these theories?

Can you see the aliens too?

And why do you think they put the space suit on, don't forget to tell us in the comments.

Dragon Ball Super Episode 83 Spoilers "Vegeta's Daughter" - Duration: 3:59.

Guys we got some new Dragon Ball Super Episode 83 Spoilers, but don't get confused.

This coming Sunday we will get Episode 82 which got delayed by 1 week for some bullshit

marathon nobody watched.

If you are a regular viewer of my channel, you probably saw my earlier 82-85 spoiler

video, but we have some extra information here.

Dragon Ball Super Episode 83 " Form the Universe 7 Team!

Who Are The Strongest Ten?!"

Airing Date- March 26th

Goku searches for members for the "Tournament of Power", but?!

Goku battle with Toppo has made him realize just how formidable their opponents will be!

Once Goku and others return to Earth, they immediately start scouting out members to

enter the " Tournament of Power", but...?!

Vegeta This Week: With his daughter about to be born, he can't calm down!

Goku and co.

approach Vegeta about entering the tournament, but he still refuses.

It seems the reasons is because Bulma is about to give birth, but...?!

Translation Courtesy: Herms98

In Episode 82, Goku vs Toppo battle will get interrupted by The Great Priest.

Then, it will be declared that the tournament will start in only 40 hours that is we have

less than 2 days to prepare our warrior team.

So they go right back to Vegeta, he is the 2nd biggest player after Goku from U7 after

all.

Now, we got some interesting information on hand.

From earlier spoilers we know, by Episode 83 Bra or Bulla would be born.

It sounds like Bulma will give birth, after Goku and Co. approaches Vegeta in Episode

83, and again initially Vegeta would refuse, but after Bulma gives birth he will agree.

If you remember till now Goku only let Gohan know that the Universe is at stake, and Mr.

Satan found out too.

So, the question is will he tell all the fighters individually while inviting them to the tournament

or will gather everyone to announce the bad news at once.

Sounds like he will tell everyone at once, otherwise I don't get why Vegeta wouldn't

agree to join.

Doesn't matter if Bulma is pregnant or whatever the fu*k!

If the Universe gets destroyed none of that would matter.

Well, I think Goku wouldn't tell Vegeta right away, and before he is forced to use

the existence is at stake card, Bulma will give birth, and Vegeta would be ready once

again anyway.

Don't get me wrong; I understand and admire all the character development Vegeta got over

the years.

This guy was never the one to abandon training for anything.

Now, we know just how much his family matters to him, it's beautiful, I love it, but we

also got to see through things and be logical about it when the entire Universe is at the

risk of getting destroyed right?

Another note, many fans seems to think that it's a plothole that Bulla in DBS is going

to be younger than Pan.

That misunderstanding came from a series that's importance now is like any other fanmade manga,

I am talking about GT, some of you might have heard about that series.

There Bulla looked older than Pan, due to her type of appearance and all that, but canon

wise Pan is about 1 year older than Bulla.

So, yeap we are on track here.

That's about all.
