** Here are nice exemples of Block Stitch **

** BLOCK STITCH **

The exemples you ve seen had one main color + one secondary color

This swatch has one secondary color and a variegated yarn

The Block Stitch is perfect for various combinations of yarns.

You can use ONE color for the MAIN Color and ONE for the Secondary Yarns.

For the MAIN COLOR:You can use just one main color:One main color, or a variegated yarn, or different colors on each row...

OR you can use one main color but change the secondary color on each row!

This new variation of Block Stitch will also be explained on this tutorial.

Main Pattern: Double Crochets (DC) and Single Crochets (SC)

The Block Stitch is also perfect for the beginners!

It is a reversible pattern, and very suitable for 'spring' baby blankets and cardigans...

The little blue swatch: Both yarns are similar

THUS: Smaller SCs!

The Pinky Swatch :The secondary yarn is thicker!

THUS: Bigger SCs!

All three swatches: Hook No. 4
