Interview with a former KSOP student - Duration: 2:27.

I'm Isabel.

Hi, I'm Patrik.

Nice to meet you.

Nice to meet you.

Are you also a student in KSOP?

Uh no, but I did my Ph.D. with KSOP.

So I did a Ph.D. in optics.

I just finished that.

And I was the president of OSKar, this student group that many people are a member of.

Well, I studied physics here and I got really interested in optics.

Like there were some cool lectures about metamaterials for example and yeah then I decided to do

a thesis in that direction and then I also joined KSOP for the Ph.D. program.

It's pretty cool, because you get some travel funding, there's a lot of seminars and courses

so you can also get additional education like economic courses and things like that.

I was for 2 years president, so we were typically doing events like inviting traveling lecturers

or we have like social programs so we go and play laser tag and things like that.

Or... we also were running a conference - that was a lot of work - I was the main organizer

of the conference we were running last year.

And it's really cool, because first it was just an idea in our head and then, well, like half

a year later it just happened and people came from all over the world and joined us for

the conference.

So yeah, it's fun.

You gain a lot of experience in organizing such a big event and-

Yeah, but that's gonna be helpful, I mean I'm done with my Ph.D. so I'll have to see

what I'm doing next and I decided I want to go into industry.

So, for that the KSOP program was really helpful.

All the economics courses you could take and also running this conference.

Yeah, it's project management that you really do there additionally to your Ph.D. so I think

that's gonna be very helpful for career.

Here in Karlsruhe there's so many possibilities.

There's "Karlsruhe House of Young Scientists" there's different kinds of scholarships and

I mean in gerenal there's quite some programs where you can get more traveling funding and

then there's a lot of interesting conferences- I mean also with OSKar you can go on conferences

to the U.S. so some of us could go there and they're always very fun.

And I think also with KSOP, with the master or the Ph.D. you get to know people from all

over the world, that's great.

And yeah you get all these chances!

Yeah I was actually- It's really good.

I'm considering... doing the KSOP master's.

I'm not sure yet- Yeah, you should!

It's fun!

"Motion Stills" app now supports the export of live photo video for iPhone - Duration: 2:15.

"Motion Stills" app now supports the export of live photo video for iPhone

Hello everyone

This time, we will explain the live photo video export function for the iPhone "Motion Stills" app

"Motion Stills" app has been updated to v1.4 in mid-March 2017, it has been supported in the export of live photo video

Up to now in the "Motion Stills", but it is I was able to convert a live photo videos to animated GIF or MP4 format video files,

Of this export will be extracted in the original MOV file format

Select the video you want to export in the "Motion Stills" app, and then touch the arrow icon in the lower right corner of the screen
