Attendre patiemment la réponse de Dieu ! (124) - Duration: 2:51.
Hello, today my story is entitled: Wait patiently for God's answer!
In our century, everything must be done quickly,
But it is not the same with our God.
His Word encourages us to develop our patience to wait for His answer,
Because it is always the best!
A few years ago, I lived with a pastor.
Every Friday, a tramp came to see him and asked him to prepare a sandwich for him,
For he was hungry!
So it was one of these Fridays when the man rang at the door, and I received him.
Following his request, I went to find the wife of the pastor to tell hier of his wish.
She was very busy with household chores and took a little while to make his sandwich.
For my part, finding the preparation time extremely long,
I went to meet this man to ask him to excuse the duration of his wait.
He replied:
"It's not a problem, on the contrary!
For the longer the time, the better the result! " I was struck by his answer.
Why was I always in such a hurry?
This man was not working and was not in the whirlwind of life
Where everything leads us to act very quickly!
Too quickly, we want to sort out things on short-term,
Thinking only of putting an end to our immediate disagreements.
But let us not forget that God has a wonderful goal:
To make us grow through the difficulties in order to forge in us His character!
The Epistle of James tells us in chapter 1 verse 4
"But let patience have its perfect work,
that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing."
Remember: when we face problems of life that yet God allows,
Let us wait upon Him and trust Him.
He is always by our side and ready to rescue us, Even if the ordeal is beyond our strength!

Respect. Respect and acceptance.
Acceptance of cultural diversity,
religious diversity,
and the realities of the people that live in this world.
A good example is the gipsy community
that has been in Spain and Catalonia for more than six centuries,
and we still have the same problems we had on our arrival.
Discrimination, prejudice, stereotypes...
We ask for and also need this respect,
we need to be equal to our other brothers and sisters.

The pleasure depends only on opinions.
Obscurity is so big that the short-sightedness of human understanding.
nothing can be known as certain

Finally, our souls are so fashioned and moulded
that they are sooner captivated by appearances than by real truths
Truth or Dare?
Truth!
the worrying thing here is the quantity of asbestos in Ostia Ponente.
It has led to a high incidence of lung tumors
documented by the ASL RM D of Ostia
in particular by the Local Hospital, G.B. Grassi,
in both 2010 and in 2012.
29% more for man versus 19% for women.
Women have the highest rate of chronic lung desease in Lazio.
Because we are in an area by the sea,
it cannot be argued that the problem is due to air pollution caused by cars, or factories.
in the affected area, housing is made up of 20% social and 80% privatly owned.
They were built in the 70s and 80s.
The area runs along the coast for 2 km, and is 5 rows of housing deep.
It is located in the west part of Ostia.
The special paint that seals the asbestos usually last up to 3 years
then it needs to be repainted.
Unfortunately, there are no incentives for removing the asbestos.
Because people bought the houses with the asbestos already installed,
the governament or the region, should be assisting in some way to remove it.
The asbestos is not a strong material,
it desintegrated quite easily with stormy weather condition and rain.
The wind then carries the asbestos fibres, and spreads them over the fields.
Because it doesn't have a visible and immediate effect, people aren't even aware that this is happening.
When someone starts suffering from the synptoms, they go to the local hospitals in the area.
When they are diagnosed with lung cancer, they decide to move to the hospitals in the city center.
Because of this, the general perception is that this area is no worse than any others.
This increase in cancer is both real and serious.
In the 20 years before moving to Ostia, I had never seen such strange types of tumors.
But over the last 10 years here, I found Kaposi's sarcoma or reticulosarcoma.
I guess with a low survival rate.
Exaclty. This is due to an increase in air pollution
and poor quality of food
due to contamination.
And major factor is the electromagnitic radiation produced by the radars at Fiumicino airport.
Also, about one kilogram of kerosene is released per second during both take off and landing of each aircraft
and this is literally coming down on our heads.
Taking all this factors into consideration,
can we say that Ostia has a higher rate of cancer than the national average?
Well, this has never been verified.
This is because we don't have a register of tumors.
This can be easily fixed.
Everyone who develops cancer has a code put on the medical card that entitles them to free treatment.
This code is 048 and we can use it to create this register.
The existence of this register would prove there is a higher rate.
Also, once you have a map of these cases, you are forced to take responsability.
Then you need to investigate all the specific areas to find the causes.
This is tough as, sometimes you have make difficult desicions.
Consequently, the proposal to create a register of tumors
has remained buried in the drawers of the offices of the regional government in Lazio
According to the latest ASL report, regarding the health of the population of the 10th Municipality,
about 7,500 people are currently diagnosed with cancer.
Malignant tumors are the most frequent cause of death in men and women of all ages especially women and young girls.
Every day a thousand people in Italy find out that they have cancer.
It is estimated that one in two Italian men and one in three Italian women are diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
A man has a 10% chance of being diagnosed with an allergy or even being impotent
but has almost a 50% chance of being diagnosed with cancer.
A woman has the same odds of suffering from constipation as she does of getting cancer, and she has less chance of losing her hair.
On average, one in three Italian men and one in 6 Italian women die from cancer.
According to ISTAT, cancer is still the second leading cause of death. In 2013 cancer claimed the lives of 176,000 people.
It's like if the entire population of Reggio Emilia and the surrounding area disappeared in just one year.
The concept of "risk" states «the possibility of suffering damage connected to more or less predictable circumstances».
The word risk comes from the Greek - Byzantine word rhizikó and it means «fate, destiny».
Every year, more than 12 million people worldwide are diagnosed with cancer,
and 7.6 million die from this disease.
If we don't take concrete actions, it will lead to 26 million new cases
and 17 million deaths by 2030.
In comparison the number of victims of Ebola
and AIDS are insignificant.
Only the Black Death of 1300
and the Spanish Flu of 1918 have been so lethal. .
Cancer is not a disease like any other ... it is in effect a pandemic.
Contracting cancer today is much more than a possibility:
it is a DESTINY!
Becasue our children had leukemia, we often met other parents in the hospital.
from this we've recorded 30 separate cases of cancer in Ostia.
Some of them were childhood leukemia. In particular acute lymphocytic leukemia
30 cases in an area like Ostia is a lot. Even though we are not experts, we recognise that this is alarming
This is over a 2 year time period
We don't have any information after 2010,
but I'm sure that new cases will have occured.
The Minerva P.E.L.T.I. association asked ASL RMD (Governament health provider) to invistigate this issue,
The ASL RMD reported no abnormal amount of leukemia in the area.
The parents did not accept these results. According to them, the investigation wasn't carried out properly.
Because we reported our suspicions to the Attorney General,
The case was assigned to the Department of Epidemiology of Lazio.
The Department of Epidemiology has repeated the investiagation using correct procedures.
The result has unfortunately confirmed a higher rate of leukemia in the area.
The issue continues to be monitored.
The Department of Epidemiology
has conducted tests within all municipal areas of Rome.
The area of Rome subjected to the radiation emitted from the Radio Vatican antenna
has a lower intance of leukemia diagnosis than that which was found in Ostia.
So in Ostia there is a far more serious situation,
but it has yet to be investigated sufficiently.
The report has confirmed that the national rate of childhood lukeima is 56 out of every one million cancer cases.
In Ostia the rate is as high as 72 out of every one million
with 60% of those cases being in acute lymphocytic leukemia
This Department has stated that there needs to be an investigation into this.
We started this fight 6 years ago,
We were expecting a stronger and faster reaction.
Time is passing and more children are developing leukemia and dying.
We understand that sometimes bureaucracy is slow
but someting has to be done, because we still don't know the real causes.
We have conducted research and we have found something.
I'm talking about the eletromagnetic radiation caused by the mobile antennas.
Ostia is a small area with a large population density and during the summer this can reach up to one milion people.
Definetly our area has an issue with these antennas
There is also a power plant in the centre of Ostia, which supplies the area with energy.
In addition to this there is WIFI connections in all the schools
Our children are constantly exposed to this connection, not only in school, but at home or when they walk down the street.
In Ostia there is a company which produces turf commercially.
Do you think that the pesticides used in the growing of it can also be a cause of cancer in the area?
Yes, absolutely! In my case I used to bring my child there all the time to walk the dog
He spent most of his childhood there.
This case was presented before Parliment
An investigation was carried out and it was found that the Company was burning the plastic covering
that had been used to protect the field after the pesticide was applied.
This released dioxins, which are highly toxic, all around the area
This incineration occured every night, and the wind spread the toxic material over the east end of Ostia
This occured in the early 2000s and of course we are now paying the price for it.
We realised using our personal scientific devices that the material used as a breaker on the caost
was in fact a high grade radioactive substance.
So we are led to believe that there is something inside this rock formation that is emmiting radiation.
It needs to be looked into, as unfortunately, Ostia was under the influence of the Mafia.
We now know that one of the business run by the Mafia dealt with waste disposal. Especially radioactive waste.
This is a certifited instrument that is used to measure radioactive activity.
According to scientists radiation is a cause of Leukemia.
The limit allowed by law is 0.4 μSv/h (Sievert per hour)
If we place the instrument on the rock we will see that the counter will get a value between 1.2 and 1.3
Thats three times the limit, we have sent the results to different experts but as of yet no one has replied.
If someone can prove us wrong we would be more than happy, but so far no one has done anything to counter our results
These radioactive particles remain in the athmosphere for a very long time.
So this instument is measuring radiation, that will be all around us for long into the future.
This is because it doesn't decay
Correct
The duration of exposure is critical, so a short walk won't affect you
However, if someone spends an extended time on the beach, they are greatly increasing their cancer risk
When a child gets sick it is more than one person that is affected.
The Family, the Community, the School and the Parish are all affected.
Being in a hospital and realising that other chidren were sick makes you feel powerless.
Something needs to be done
When my son turned seven he began to study science in school, and it was then he realised that he had cancer
Even today he still asks me questions,he knew that he had a serious illness but he did not know about cancer.
He was aware that he couldn't do things that most kids were doing
I agree. Also, after an experience like that the family needs a long time to recover.
Because the loss of a child is a loss of the next generation. All the region is affected.
People are scared, but if we were able to investigte and find the root cause. We can stop this.
Unfortunalely this is going to keep happening.
Do you have the feeling that this issue is being covered up?
I really do, otherwise this would be investigated and there would be more official data available.
So from my perspective they knowingly ignore the issue.
Maybe they think that we want compensation, but honestly we don't.
The only compensation we want is to have our children with us.
You save me, you pity me,
Seeing how all things are dangerous
And that men run the risk of doing either well or badly.
When a man is not in trouble, he should keep an eye on such dangers,
And whenever life is good he should most of all watch out
So not to be destroyed unawares.
Your protest started in the 1990s. Correct?
Yes, I would say more at the start of the millenium.
We started to see too many cancer cases in the area.
Out of the blue, they really just appeared out of nowhere.
No one ever thought to connect
these diseases to the twenty four antennas
cozied up all together on top of the Acea Tower
But then this started to be questioned
and the connection became more credible
Of course they have since removed 15 antennas,
the ones not visible, installed behind the windows of the tower.
That had stronger power emissions.
Amazing! We were so happy!
Then we started to have doubts.
The remaining 9 antennas had been strengthened
If you do that, it's like you haven't removed anything!
It's like we still have 24 antennas!
This is against the deal with city council and mobile phone companies which was to lower the power emissions.
This made us furious!
Also part of the agreement was the monitoring of emissions from the tower.
Oh yes!
Hahaha, we don't care about their monitoring.
Because we already know what is going on here.
When 8 out of 11 people in a single building die of cancer, we can clearly see without monitoring the effects!
The deal stated after 18 months the remaining 15 of 24 antennas were to be removed.
Almost 7 years have passed, and apart for an unsuccessful further meeting, nothing has changed
The mobile phone companies were surprised
They thought that issue was resolved.
Because they understood that by removing the 9 antennas, the health issue was solved.
During these years, how was ACEA's attitude toward the problem?
ACEA (the company that owns the tower) is unresponsive to our requests for help.
We have now changed the meaning of the company acronym to
Azienda (Company) - Cancerogena (Carcinogenic) - Elettrosmog (Electromagnitic pollution) - Antenne (Antennas)
ACEA should focus on caring only about electricity and gas.
I don't recall them selling electromagnitic pollution as part of their service!
The majority owner is the City Council.
The City Council represents the people.
The people don't want the antennas.
Also, our buildings are now worth about 30% less, due to the antennas.
Although there is no consistent scientific evidence linking the electomagnitic fields to the development of cancer,
As we are dealing with human health,
We should always err on the side of caution.
We are now standing on the balcony of what is known locally as the oncology ward.
We are vey close to the tower, less than 35 meters.
Many residents have fallen ill here.
Whole families have become ill, a few are diagnosed with cancer
others with various different diseases.
Most residents of this bulding are dead now.
Yes, they aren't here anymore to speak out and tell their story,
which is why we must do it, in order to keep thier memory and fight alive.
To let them rest in peace, we need to solve that antenna problem as soon as possible.
The most absurd and shameful thing
that was said during a meeting was
that the simplest solution would be for residents to sell their houses and move elsewhere!
No my dear sirs,
the people should not have to move,
the antennas should.
In 2012, when my daughter was born
I saw a news report about the antenna in front of my bulding
I realised that in some of the buldings surrounding me, a number of people developed cancer
and serious illnesses.
I started to get worried because I was afraid those cancers were caused by the antenna.
I began to do some research on-line and by reading books.
I sought the opinion of doctors, oncologists and experts in electromagnetic fields
I've learn't about the different methods of shielding from electromagnetic waves
First of all, the exterior walls already block between 5% and 10% of the radiation.
The rest comes through the windows.
The regular glass can't shield the radiation, the double ones can protect you from 5% of them.
So the first thing I did was buy the double glazing for the whole flat.
these were the second investment I've made.
they are made of a special fabric combining metal alloy
that shields from electromagnitic waves by reflecting them.
They don't require earthing, and they have almost 90% protective capability.
I assume that they are expensive.
Yes, they are. The material itself is between €35 and €40 per square meter.
How many curtains did you buy?
Precisely 44 square meters of material.
But you didn't stop there.
No, I didn't. The curtains are good for the windows, but not the walls.
The radiation can still pass through the walls.
I called a company to remove the plaster board and place it the fabric within the wall.
In this way, my house is 100% protected.
How much have you invested so far?
So far I've spent about 20 thousand euro, once I complete the improvements,
I'll have spent about 40 thousand in total.
The danger is not only coming from outside.
You're right. It's important to protect yourself from external radiation,
However, you must be aware of your domestic and working evironment.
make sure that there aren't sources of radiation inside.
remove devices that produce radiation, such as wi-fi, modems, mobile and cordless phones,
especially ones in the bedrooms, on your locker because they are to close to where we sleep.
Also the older model microwaves don't have any shielding.
You've done all of this, not just for yourself or your wife but because now you have 2 children.
That's correct.
It's an investiment for our future wellbeing.
We didn't buy a new fancy car or a big screen tv, instead we invested only in the health of our daughters.
Alternatively we could have moved house, and we did try.
But the antenna has decreased the value of this flat.
In Ostia you can never be certain, even if you buy a new house in an antenna free zone,
You could wake up one day with a new one in front of your building.
There isn't any legislation in place to protect the health of the citizens
It seems there is the tendency to look out for the interests of the mobile companies.
And this is not fair!
My future myself was living inside some sort of abstract being
that was an empty form of being , but of a different vacuum and more integral to what I had expected .
My projects were no more than concepts , and I could not imagine how they would have been corporeal
hour after hour , in the endless hours of daily existence .
They did not provide any concrete act , but only a general provision , a pattern ,
into which I could not see anything; and yet, unfortunately, I was still living .
I realised I was sick on the 8th of September 2015
After that, I've started to suffer from bone pain.
Then my bones began to fracture
Now my ribs are broken, my sternum, basically all the upper half of my body up to my neck.
I was screaming because of the pain, I couldn't sit or lie down.
It was incredibly sore because my bones were broken!
Then I decide to get an appointment with a neurologist.
As soon as he visited me, he told me that I had a multiple myeloma
On the 8th of Septemeber, I went to the Mandelli Hospital,
I had been hospitalized for 6 hours
Then the diagnosis was confirmed,
multiple myeloma
What stage?
Sixty-six percente
My pain and screaming was so bad that I was disturbing the nighbourds and my family
I promised myself that I would not allow my family and friends to see me in this condition.
With the side effects of the Chemoterapy.
Even now, while I'm talking with you, I have the side effects of the chemo.
How do you imagine your future now that you know you have cancer?
To be honest, It's tough, really tough!
I didn't expect this, but I'm strong.
I'm not deppressed.
My personality didn't change.
I keep fighting!
so far the cure is working
What is your profession?
I'm a teacher.
Are you still working?
No, absolutely not. I've been off work for a year. I'm not able to teach at the moment.
But I hope to go back to school soon.
The thing that shocked me the most was to be confined to a wheelchair.
Being on a wheelchair like this, out of the blue.
To have a catheter and the fact that I'm not self sufficient.
This has been the situation for the past 5 months.
What was the reaction of the people close to you?
Everybody has reacted in a different way, obviously.
My husband took it very badly.
He doesn't even want to hear the words cancer or chemio.
He won't even say the name of the drugs.
That's it!
I've discovered that a lot of people from Ostia have the same condition.
Everyone, of course, deals with the illness differently.
For example, I have to receive an injection in my belly that is very painful and the side effects are almost immidiate.
It's a very small injection.
A lot of patients refuse to get this injection.
I've lost about 10 cm in height, but this is not a big deal for me as I'm tall.
The main issue will be that I will have to wear a back brace,
I will have surgery to fix my back and I won't be able to carry heavy things.
This doesn't really matter as I've been told that I wll be able to have a normal life again. Almost.
I hope to return to school.
I hope!
We have created a show that
sums up my recent experiences.
At the end, never give up as life is beautiful.
When you've lost a son, thinking in this way is very hard.
Everything started in the Summer of 2007, when my wife, Cinzia,
the mother of my two babies,
discovered symptoms that were later diagnosed as cancer.
Breast cancer, treated with surgery.
This was the begining of an ordeal without end.
She had recurring cancer until 2011 when she passed away.
In Summer 2012, Federico developed his first cancer.
It was a bone cancer in his left femur.
We came to the hospital at the end of 2012, and in July 2015 Federico died.
The chemotherapy devistates your body in the same way, or worse, than the desease itself.
In 2014, we both decided that enough was enough.
we decided to try approved alternative methods,
Of course we did not go to witch doctors. Unfortunately others do because they are desperate.
we chose the Di Bella method
This method gave him a better quality of life.
It gave him a huge psycological support that allowed him to not feel like a sick person.
Federico had a normal life until the end.
He was sailing with his brother until March 2015,
He was coming with me to the boxing gym even though he was limping,
He was playing guitar in the hospital
I was in the hospital for 21 months, so I had to abandon my other child.
I had to leave him with friends, because I have no other relatives, until Federico died.
You have to deal with all of this alone. How can you cope?
There is no alternative.
I kept going until the end because my mission was to save him.
It has been the most beautiful battle of my life, because there is nothing better to fight for than the life of your son.
Unfortunately we lost.
What has the experience left you?
I can tell you what it took from me.
A big piece of my heart
and it left me with infinite sadness and immense pain.
It is like I have a thorn in my heart, and every step I take it is pushed deeper, and there is nothing I can do to remove it.
But, someone asked me, knowing the pain he would suffer, would I still have had Federico?
The answer is yes.
I want to conclude with a line from a beautiful song by Mannarino.
Live your life, no matter what, because it is still beautiful.
Even though now this is hard to do
I'm sure that me and Tommaso can do it.
<i>♪ Mannarino - Vivere la vita ♪</i>
Over 15 years in your field, how many patients have you dealt with?
Over 1,200 people. I also like to say that we assisted the families of the affected.
Cancer doesn't only affect the individual, but also the whole familly.
This desease doesn't exist in isolation, if one person is affected, everyone is.
What is the survival rate of these patients?
Unfortunetly almost no one.
This is because patients come to us when the desease is at too an advanced stage.
Even if you only have partial view of the issue, do you think that there is an increase in cancer in this area?
Yes, I'd like to have the most up to date data to check this.
The way in which cancer is diagnosed has improved recently, so we are able to discover different types of tumors.
So in the last few years, we have noticed an increase in these cases.
And also people are developing cancer at a younger age.
I remember when I was in college that some cancers only affected people over 60.
These days the same cancers effect people 40 years old.
Undoubtedly our lifestyles and the polution have altered our imune systems. They can no longer deal with the carcinogens.
A person who's chemotherapy has not been successful requires a lot of medical assistance.
This is often neglected. The first stage for the patient is to regain their dignity.
This is the main focus of our organisation: dignity.
The dignity that a person with cancer has lost.
Restoring this humanity is our mission.
The most difficult thing for us is to prescribe H drugs.
These are drugs that can only be fount in the hospital pharmacy.
This means a cost to society of 700 euro per day,
and the patients have to stay in the hospital even if they do not need to.
Another issue is the palliative care.
Even though the laws regulating the drugs involved were relaxed in 2010, some GP's are still reluctant to provide the prescriptions.
Of course the patients ultimately pay the price.
The situation is getting worse because of a change in legislation relating to the diagnosis of health issues.
This change was introduced by Beatrice Lorenzin, The Minister of Health, who was actually raised in this area of the city.
Basically, this change means that GPs have become financially responsible for tests that might not be deemed necessary.
Now the choice to prescribe an MRI exam is really up to me. If the result of this exam is negative I am responsible for the cost.
How can I tell if this exam is necessary, without actually doing it?
Its like saying to a person not to take any tests because of the financial costs involved.
This makes GPs now less likely to prescribe specific tests, bescause of this new legislation.
They are also scared to provide regular drugs, as the same legislation also applies to drugs, as well as the tests.
A person with cancer deserves respect because of their condition.
I make any of my patients aware that if I believe they require an exam. I prescribe them to have this done Privately.
Because, I can't tell 100% that the exam will be return a positive result. I can't send them Publically for the test.
So the Patients have to pay?
Exactly.
I should be able to decide what is best for my patients, according to the law.
The idea of eternal return implies a perspective from which things appear other than as we know them:
they appear without the mitigating circumstance of their transitory nature.
This mitigating circumstance prevents us from coming to a verdict.
For how can we condemn something that is ephemeral, in transit? In the sunset of dissolution
everything is illuminated by the aura of nostalgia, even the guillotine. (...)
What happens but once might as well not have happened at all. If we have only one life to live,we might as well not have lived at all.

Yes I did, but I don't know anyone in particular.
Yes, I recenlty lost my aunt.
What do you think the cause is, in your opinion?
It's like the flu! I think it could be the air pollution or even an after effect of Chernobyl.
I read in a newspaper that it can be caused by the airplanes Fiumicino is so near.
It can be caused by cigarettes or even by the asbestos.
Sincerely, I've no idea. I can't think of any other reasons.
I thought in Ostia the air was clear and not that bad like in areas with factories or dumps.
I remember that someone was talking about the Acea tower and the antennas.
We can't be sure. There are a lot of different causes: pollution, antennas. I have no idea.
It could be all these antennas installed in the area.
Or maybe food contamination, we use a lot of chemical fertilizers.
Probably the increase in cancer is due to the air pollution, caused by cars.
I think the issue is caused by the air pollution.
Do you think there is enogh information available on the subject?
No, I don't think that there is sufficient information available on this subject.
I think that there is enough information about this topic, a lot of people attended the last conference that I went too.
Actually, we discussed this in school, but I don't know if other people are as informed.
Maybe people don't want to know because thery are scared.
The problem is having eyes and not being able to see,
Not be able to see things happen,
even the minimum warp of reality.
Closed eyes. Eyes that no longer see,
eyes that are no longer curious.
They do not expect things to happen anymore.
Perhaps because they believe that beauty does not exist.
But over the desolation of our paths beauty passes,
breaking finite limits and filling our eyes with an infinite desire.

Lego Haul For March 2017 - Part 2 of ? - Duration: 1:39.
Hey everyone!
JAYSTEPHER here with my second haul
for March 2017.
I had received a few Lego sets
from my birthday.
So let's take a closer look.
I got this
Heartlake Summer Pool set.
This looks pretty awesome.
I like the slides
and the stairs.
I'm surprised the box isn't crushed.
And the second set
is the Lighthouse Point
by Lego Creator.
This one doesn't look too bad.
Looks rather skimpy,
but this will be built in a future time.
So that's it!
That's the haul.
Very short.
Just two sets.
Not elaborate.
I'm sure that the parts in these
will come in handy for future projects.
Thank you all for watching!
There will be more videos coming soon.
