Meet Jimmy And Mariana, KJZZ's Friendly Neighborhood East Valley Reporters - Duration: 1:18.

(Knocking)

TOGETHER: Hello?

JIMMY: Is anybody home?

MARIANA: Hi, we're new to the East Valley. I'm Mariana

JIMMY: And I'm Jimmy. We're public radio reporters! We've just opened KJZZ's newest bureau.

MARIANA: We're getting to know the area, one story at a time. From ASU's campus, where leaky pipes lead to a lawsuit.

"From like an engineering perspective, like, I don't see why like a very new building would have pipes that would burst in the first place."

JIMMY: To the rural communities like Apache Junction where finding mental health treatment can be a challenge.

"These are all people who could be any of us."

"And these are people that are our family members and our friends who happen to be in a crisis."

MARIANA: We're just getting started, and we need your help. What do you want to hear more about?

What issues matter to your community? We're here to serve you — to bring your voices to the rest of the Valley.

JIMMY: So, what do you say? Can we come in?

We brought coffee.

Ooh, can I pet your dog? Maybe I could take your dog for a walk?

MARIANA: Jimmy! That's too much, you're coming on too strong.

JIMMY: Right, sorry! I'm just so excited.

MARIANA: Well, it is an exciting time at KJZZ. We're glad to be in the neighborhood.

And we hope you'll help support quality journalism with a monthly sustaining donation at KJZZ.org.

Curiosity Rover Photographs Mysterious Pyramids on the Martian Surface

BY THE EXPLORER

More pyramids reaching out of the dusty and supposedly desolate Martian terrain send back

to a remote extraterrestrial civilization.

Former discovery of a pyramid on Mars has sparked the interest of anomaly hunters and

space enthusiasts who thought of the artifact as clear evidence of a Martian civilization.

It wasnt long however until rover Curiosity sent another puzzling set of pictures, this

time with an entire valley full of alleged pyramids.

Even today is hard to understand how the ancients had raised such structures on Earth, but these

monuments on Mars, if proven to be artificial and not the result of some natural phenomenon,

would offer an important clue regarding its builders and origins, respectively that such

monuments are spread throughout the Solar System and had been erected by species other

than out own.

The picture taken from a considerable distance shows a dense coating of dust covering the

entire area, together with all traces of life.

The alleged Martian pyramids are the only structures that are still standing tall, but

erosion seems to be slowly taking over them.

Valley of the Martian pyramids / Raw photo at the bottom of this post

An entire valley of the pyramids on Mars is enough to understand that an advanced species

of extraterrestrials had lived before us and had dressed up the land with structures that

seem so familiar to us earthlings.

Such a scenario would mean that pyramids are universal symbols and could even be connected

in a way that remains undeciphered by our unripe human species.

Of course, there is also the possibility of pareidolia or misinterpreting the distance

and size of the structures, corroborated with the fact that such a major discovery would

need to need to be announced by researchers at NASA in a public setting.

However, recent years have taught that the renowned space agency is covering up most

of the breakthrough discoveries on the Red Planet.

As an example stands the official report of liquid water present on the Martian surface,

notice that had been delayed for many years prior to the original discovery.

NASA had officially announced water on Mars only at the fines of 2015, although researchers

have discussed for years about intriguing photographs of what appeared to be remnants

of riverbeds or dried out ponds.

Some had ventured as far as claiming they were seeing a reflective material on the Martian

terrain, but NASA continued to keep silence until recently.

Presence of liquid water on the surface of Mars was a known fact ever since these photographs

of dried-out riverbeds arrived Because of this, its speculated that the

renowned space agency is deliberately delaying heavyweight announcements in order to have

enough time to thoroughly analyze the presented matter, as well as soothing the publics

reaction as much as possible.

If they were indeed to announce that what we see in the images are indeed monuments

erected by a former Martian civilization, it would take considerable years before announcing

this in an official manner.

Until then, they have sufficient time to alter the information in a way that would make it

look far less spectacular than in reality.

In other words, NASA is only making available desirable information, while all the treasure

troves remain under a murky veil of secrecy, away from prying eyes.

With this in mind, we could be staring at a monumental discovery a Martian site

where pyramids stand as a last reminder of a once-thriving alien culture.

Even more, similar sites can be traced to its blue neighbor, hinting at a bigger, interconnected

network of pyramids spanning across the Solar System and who knows how much further.

Until further evidence or official news, it remains up to the open-minded people to share

this forbidden knowledge that in the future may be deemed as reality.

Carbonara♪ ローマ風カルボナーラ♪ - Duration: 4:04.

Carbonara♪

This time, I am going to make Carbonara. In Japan carbonara is often made with fresh cream or and butter but in Italy using only eggs and cheese is the norm.

It might look challenging to prepare but actually it's fairly easy to make. But if you are careful in not too much heating, that is very easy. It's very tasty, so please try it yourself.

I would appreciate it if you could add subtitles or title & description for this video!

Prepare ingredients.

Grate some Parmigiano Reggiano.

Bacon.

This time, I use bacon instead of Guanciale because it is very expensive in Japan.

Slice the block of bacon into 6~8 mm strips.

Prepare the whole pepper to use for garnish.

Crush the pepper with the side of a knife and mince it roughly.

Pepper for garnish is done.

Cooking.(for 1 serving)

I use fettuccine that cling well to carbonara sauce.

Regular boiling time is 9 minutes.

Boil 80g of pasta for 30 second shorter than regular time.

1 tbsp of olive oil.

Stir-fry bacon.

Sometimes mix it to avoid scorching.

Put 45 ml of white wine and burn off alcohol.

Shake the pan well.

Ah!

The fire alarm was activated by mistake.

Turn off the burner and put the pan on a wet kitchen cloth to cool it down quickly.

Wait for the pasta to finish cooking.

Make carbonara sauce.

A whole egg.

An egg yolk.

20 g of Parmigiano Reggiano.

Sprinkle some pepper.

Thoroughly mix the ingredients in a bowl.

Of course you can make this sauce before cooking.

Put cooked pasta without draining.

Put the sauce and mix well.

You can take your time because the pan is cooling down.

Turn on the burner.

If the heat is too high, the eggs will become scrambled, so watch out!

If you think the thickness of the sauce is a little bit too watery, then it's perfect.

Put the pan on a wet dish towel to cool it down.

Sprinkle some Parmigiano-Reggiano.

Top with the crushed pepper.

It's ready to eat♪

Cheers~

Rich sauce is cling well to the thick pasta.

Bacon flavored carbonara sauce is amazing.

Carbonara goes well with beer!

Easy version.

I recommend easy version if you're not confident with your ability to cook fast.

Place pasta into the carbonara sauce.

Put the bowl in boiling water and mix until the sauce has thickened.

Please Subscibe Soon!

Placement of a Hearing-Impaired Child in the Classroom: A Parent Checklist - Duration: 3:10.

Hello, this presentation is to inform parents and caregivers about a simple checklist that they can use

when considering a placement for a hearing-impaired child in a mainstream classroom setting.

so this checklist is really designed to ensure that a child is being placed in the most conducive environment for

their learning. It's mainly used in an observational setting. When a parent or caregiver goes into the

classroom and observes the various criteria on the checklist in the classroom, they can either check it off,

and say that their classroom meets this criteria, or say no it does not and they can look for another area in the

school, or in another school that might better provide that service for the child. So when placing a child with a

hearing-impairment, there are many factors to be considered to ensure that this child will have the best

environment for their learning, the best environment to support their learning needs and give them the resources

that they need to help with their hearing impairment. The parent or caregiver wants to look at the physical

environment in the building as a whole, or the classroom itself. The parent/caregiver wants to look at the teacher

and their teaching style. Does that teacher have experience teaching children with hearing-impairments,

or is this their first child with a hearing impairment in their class. Do they have access to the resources to

effectively teach a child with a hearing impairment. They would also want to look at the attitude of the school

towards students with special needs. How is their program for special needs? Do they have an emphasis

on treating all students the same and with the respect they deserve? You want to look at information regarding

the student and their special needs, and the special services offered within that school district.

The full checklist has many criteria under each of these categories.

This checklist really, like I said, aims to provide and help parents/caregivers find the most appropriate placement

for a hearing-impaired child in a mainstream classroom setting.

Remember that no placement is final.

Always bring up concerns to the child study team or the individualized education plan (IEP) meetings,

if something is questioned, concerning, or just needs to shed light on.

Always trust your instincts as a parent or caregiver, and advocate for your child's best interests.

You can find a link to the full checklist in the description of this video.

Remember to be your child's best advocate!
