Hey Everyone .. I am AVNI - Welcome back to my channel.
This is a requested video.
In one of my Body polishing video, I mentioned 4 steps. The very last step was moisturizing.
..and in that video I mentioned, if you all want we can make a video on natural home made moisturizer too.
So today's video will be about "Natural homemade moisturizer"
Let me quickly cover up some basics involving moisturizer like why our body or face skin needs moisturizer?
Moisturizer keeps our skin clean, smooth, young and most importantly wrinkle free.
Using the right moisturizer for your skin type can help maintain its balance
..Like if your skin is too dry, Moisturizing routine can help your skin and provides a boost to repair itself & stay healthy.
When your skin is too dry, wrinkles will start showing up early before your right age
OR if skin is too oily then many common skin diseases like pimples / acne / open pores might start showing up.
If your skin maintains the balance then you can avoid all the diseases and problems I mentioned before.
Moisturizing helps your skin stay young.
If we talk about face - sensitive skin area like the skin below your eyes is very delicate and thin
This daily loss of skin cells around your eye area make your skin loose and vulnerable to dryness which leads to baggy skin, dark circles etc
Moisturizer can help us with overcoming all these problems.
after a hot shower, moisturizer is a must.
Hot shower strips out the natural moisture from your skin and makes it super dry.
so moisturizing your skin doesn't only feel great but also helps keeping your skin clear, young, smooth, and wrinkle-free in the future.
In this video, I will be showing 3 simple and quick homemade moisturizers..
first one is for Dry skin..
second one is for oily skin..
3rd one is for all those who have acne prone skin.
All these moisturizers can be used on any part of the part including face.
Lets go ahead and check out the video..
For Oily skin, take a glass bowl and add 1 tablespoon of Aloe Vera gel.
This is just a demo sample I am making. If you want you can make more and preserve for at least a month.
Now whatever quantity of Aloe Vera gel you have taken, Add 1/2 of that quantity of olive oil or almond oil.
In this video, I have used almond oil since it has Vitamin E in it and I don't need to add vitamin E capsules.
Now Add Glycerin - quantity will be half of whatever quantity of Aloe Vera gel you have added before.
Glycerin goes deep into the layers of your skin and does the cleaning.
To preserve it for longer time, Add 2-3 drops of apple cider (Make sure its NOT more than that)
Mix it well..
Apple cider works as an anti wrinkle agent an helps with removing fine lines on your skin.
You can see.. Its ready now. Blend it well before you preserve it.
You can preserve this in any air tight container for at least 1 month.
After 1 month - you can make it again.
Let me show you how it works on my skin..
For oily skin type - You will see that its not at all sticky..
Whatever we have added in this home made moisturizer helps skin in maintaining the balance
you can see my skin is little shiny and glowing.
I will preserve the left over moisturizer in an air tight container...
Lets check out the moisturizer for dry skin..
For this, I have taken a glass bowl and added 1 tablespoon of Aloe Vera gel
Now whatever quantity of Aloe Vera gel you have taken, Add 1/2 of that quantity of coconut oil.
If you want you can also use olive oil but coconut oil is the best suitable for dry skin.
To preserve it for longer time, Add 2-3 drops of apple cider (Make sure its NOT more than that)
Since some of you might not like the coconut oil smell so you can add any of your favorite essential oil - i have used "lavender essential oil"
Mix it well..
Let me show you how it works on my skin. This is best for my skin since my skin is dry.
It goes deep into you skin and not at all sticky.
we will preserve this in an air tight container for at least 1 month.
Another thing, If you want you can also even add Vitamin E capsules.
Lets check out the 3 home made moisturizer for acne prone skin..
To start with, I have taken 1 cup of water and boil it
Add some mint leaves..
Add 6-7 cloves..
1/2 tablespoon of cinnamon powder
If you want - you can also add cinnamon sticks also
Cover the lid and let it boil
Quantity of boiled water should be close to half of initial quantity of water taken.
Let it cool down and strain it to the container with the help of strainer
Take a glass bowl and add our star ingredient "Aloe Vera gel"
Now whatever quantity of Aloe Vera gel you have taken, Add 1/2 of that quantity of the water based mixture we prepared.
Now Add Glycerin - quantity will be half of whatever quantity of Aloe Vera gel you have added before.
Glycerin is very useful for acne prone skin
Add the same quantity of tea tree oil
tea tree oil and glycerin combination works really well with acne prone skin
In making this moisturizer, I have used all those ingredients which helps in reducing acne / pimples.
acnes are very common with oily skin types
Don't think, if your skin is oily then you don't need moisturizer.
this moisturizer is very light and penetrates your skin smoothly.
This moisturizer can be preserved for not more than 1 week since it has all natural ingredients and we haven't added any preservative.
