Triple H Shoots On CM Punk!? Goldberg Takes A Bump! | WWE Raw, Mar. 6, 2017 Review - Duration: 5:20.
Goldberg took a bump, The Undertaker made his WWE return and did Triple H just shoot
on CM Punk?
I'm Oli Davis, and this is the 6th March 2017 edition of Monday Night Raw...in about
4 minutes.
Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens opened Raw with 'the talk'.
You know, the 'why did you break up with me and shove my head into an LCD screen'
talk?
We've all had them.
Owens continued the heartbreak from the Festival of Friendship, saying he didn't stab his
best friend in the back, because Jericho was never his best friend.
I don't believe him, though.
I think he really did love Chris.
But his own blind ambition has forced him to rationalise otherwise.
That's the true sadness in this story.
They then made a match between themselves for the United States Championship at THE
ULTIMATE THRILL-RIDE Wrestlemania 33.
Michael Cole did not let that tagline go.
The two brawled, and then Samoa Joe blindsided Chris, for Sami Zayn to come out and even
the odds - it looks like we got ourselves a tag team match, playas!
Shut up, Teddy Long.
We're gonna have two singles matches.
One of the best feuds of last year got about five minutes here as Owens beat Zayn.
Despite potentially being overshadowed by Austin Aries' impressive package, and only
getting seven actually televised minutes - with two commercial breaks crammed into them - Neville
and Rich Swann put on the best Raw match this year.
And it was followed up by a great angle where Aries finally got physical, attacking Neville
in their post-match interview.
I was curious to see how the Chicago crowd would react to Goldberg as Champion.
And as soon as Goldberg's entrance was over, the 'CM Punk' chants began.
WWE had a plan, though - master crowd manipulator Paul Heyman and the sheer star presence of
Brock Lesnar, who gave Goldberg his first bump since his WWE return with an F5. Goldberg
reaching for his title on the mat afterwards was a really nice touch.
This was more of an angle to further the Enzo & Cass, Galanderson and Sheamaro three-way
title feud rather than a match.
Enzo getting kicked in the face is becoming a my weekly highlight.
Mick Foley made a number one contenders match for next week.
Akira Tozawa is so good, he even gets me invested in three minute cruiserweight matches without
Austin Aries on commentary.
Ha.
Up until this point, Raw had been an excellent show.
Then this meaningless New Day vs Shining Stars 'match' let out the steam.
This was followed up by an overlong talking segment for the women's division, with the
crowd getting bored and drowning out Stephanie McMahon with deafening CM Punk chants.
But she had a prepared reply: "You're all just like CM Punk, right?
That's right, you're all losers and you always cheer for the wrong person..."
Banks beat Bayley in the following match, which means it'll be a three-way at the
ultimate thrill-ride Wrestlemania.
Following a very good video package on Seth Rollins' rehab, Michael Cole cut to Triple
H via Satellite, who opened with: "First off, you gotta take your hat off
to the WWE.
The world class care they provide their athletes is second to none.
That's Kevin Wilk in that video - that's like the best in the world...WWE spares no
expense when it comes to the health and welfare of their talent.
We just have to hope that somebody like Seth Rollins actually listens to the experts, listens
to what they're telling them and utilises that advice."
Triple H said that in Chicago.
CM Punk's hometown.
The same CM Punk the crowd had been chanting for throughout the night.
And the same CM Punk who is currently being sued for libel by WWE doctor Chris Amann for
accusations of malpractice.
They don't call him the Cerebral Assassin for nothing.
We got our first video package teasing the return of Emma!
I can't wait for her eventual debut...in 9 months.
Jericho should've played up his Festival of Friendship injuries more here.
He didn't look strong in defeat at all, getting choked out by Samoa Joe on the outside.
The codebreaker after the match was too little, too late to help either of them.
In the main event, Braun Strowman called out Roman Reigns, but instead, got...The Undertaker.
The two actually had a really tense staredown.
They look good in there together.
Are they doing Braun vs Taker at Mania now?
I'm actually OK with tha-ah, no wait, here's Roman Reigns.
It's his yard now.
Boo.
They both look at the Wrestlemania sign, and then Taker chokeslams Roman.
So that was this week's Raw in about four minutes.
Here's the usual ratings recap, from top to bottom - In Awe, Cor, AVERAWGE, Poor and
Bore.
This week's Raw is Cor.
I thought this was a great episode of Raw.
The first half of the show was very, very good - with the excellent Swann vs Neville
match and Lesnar/Goldberg clash, and it finished strong with The Undertaker returning.
What did you all think?
Let me know in the comments down below, and make sure to vote in the poll above my head
to give it your own rating.
I'll announce the results on tomorrow's WrestleTalk News.

Purim - The Holiest Day of The Year - Duration: 7:32.
What would you say is the holiest day in the Jewish calendar?
Yom Kippur?
You know that time where we don't eat anything and sit in synagogue all day praying.
Sounds pretty holy and spiritual to me, right?
Well a 16th Century Rabbi known by the name 'the Arizal' pointed out something hidden
within the words of the holiday Yom Kippur – something really eye opening.
He noticed that if you look at the name 'Yom Kippur' in the Torah - it's 'Yom HakiPurim' – literally
'the Day of Atonements'.
But if you separate out the words it can be read as Yom-Ha-Ki-Purim – literally 'the day that is
like Purim.'
In other words, the holiness, and spiritual elevation of Yom Kippur is only "like"
that of Purim.
Purim is actually the holiest day of the Jewish year.
What?
You heard me.
But what's so special about Purim?
What is it about Purim that warrants it being the holiest Jewish day?
Purim is a day of fun and festivity - we recall how Queen Esther saved the Jews of Persia
from the evil decrees of the despotic ruler Haman – and we celebrate, we dress up and
we drink!
It all seems very light hearted.
In fact, the Hebrew month of Adar which Purim falls in is associated with laughter.
Purim is the holiday of laughter.
So what, I ask you, is so holy about laughter?
The answer -
- Everything.
Laughter is fundamental to Jewish philosophy.
In fact the very first Jewish child is called "Yitzchak" – "Isaac" - which means literally - "he shall laugh".
Why?
Well have you ever wondered what is it that makes us laugh?
What is about a punch line that is so funny?
We laugh when we see something that appears to be going in one direction and then suddenly
it turns the opposite way.
Consider the joke about the wife who calls up her husband telling him to be careful because
she's heard on the radio that there's a mad man on the motorway driving on the wrong
side of the road.
"Mad man?"
The husband tells her, "there's hundreds of them!".
This joke makes us laugh because we don't expect the husband to be the mad man.
We laugh when the totally unexpected occurs – that's what a punchline is – when
things are going in one direction and they suddenly change into their opposite.
But in Judaism we believe that everything that exists in the physical world represents
a deeper spiritual reality.
So what does laughter represent?
At its deepest level, laughter represents the transition from this world to the next world.
From despair to redemption, and from our current world, to the messianic vision of the world
which Jews pray for every day.
Jews have a deep conviction that all tragedy and despair will one day flip itself into
redemption – and it's that flip, which we associate with laughter.
Take life itself – we all go through ups and downs in life but for all of us we end
up growing old, weary and dying.
From our perspective down here on earth it all seems rather tragic.
But in Judaism we consider this world to be a temporary place of growth and ordeal which
transitions to an eternal place of rest where we reap the rewards of our spiritual and moral growth.
From a spiritual perspective it's not tragic at all – in fact one could even say it's
quite…funny!
You know the famous 12th Century Jewish philosopher Moses Maimonidies, the Rambam, was confronted by some Greek
philosophers. They said to him -
"You Jews claim to believe that death is merely a transition to an eternal life, but you also
say that everything in the physical world represents a spiritual reality - so where can we find
in the physical world the phenomenon of death leading to life, they asked?"
A pretty good question.
I bet you didn't get that homework question in your Jewish studies class!
So Maimonidies responded by saying that we see that 'death leads to life' at the
very moment where life in this world begins.
Consider the existence of the child in the mother's womb - it has a hole in its heart,
it lives underwater, its lungs are all scrunched up and not functioning, it receives all its
nutrition from its mother.
It's literally living in the opposite circumstances to what it would need to survive outside the
womb.
If the child were conscious inside the womb, as far as it was concerned, life outside the womb
means death.
And yet, when the child is born - everything reverses - the hole in the heart fills up,
the lungs pop open, the blood travels the other way and the baby starts breathing.
This doesn't strike me as a natural, logical progression of steps - everything suddenly
flips into its opposite at the last second.
At the moment where life begins, said Maimonidies, we see how a hopeless, fatal situation can
transform itself in a split second.
This principle - that bad can transform into good is a deep conviction of how Jews perceive
human history too - we believe that one day the world will be transformed from a world
of chaos and despair to one of peace and contentment.
And it will happen at the least expected moment, where all seems lost in the world.
King David wrote that "on that day our mouths will be filled with laughter"
because we laugh when an unexpected transition occurs.
And we see this principle, on a smaller level, play itself out in the Purim story.
Everything was going wrong - there was an irreversible decree of genocide for the Jewish
people.
And yet through one 'coincidence' after the next, the evil Haman ended up being hung
on the very gallows that he had built to hang Mordechai - the leader of the Jews.
Everything reversed itself.
This is the Jewish view of history and of life.
The question is, though, whether you are able to hold on in the moments of darkness.
Throughout history Jews and peoples of all faith have been ridiculed for their enduring
belief in divine guidance and their moral values which have so often flied in the face
of the cultures they found themselves in.
But they were able to remain true to their values because they lived with the reality
that one day, when the world gets turned around, they will be the right way up.
Isaac, Yitzchak, the first Jewish child, means "He shall laugh" - because that is what
we are awaiting.
We as Jews haven't laughed much throughout our history - but it's the future laugh,
'the last laugh' - that we are waiting for.
The holiness of Purim, is the holiness of laughter - deep within it is found the secret
for Jewish hope throughout our history - it is the knowledge that the final destination
for humanity is not one of sorrow, it is one of joy, and redemption.

Festival of the Arts - Week 5! [CC] - Duration: 14:46.
Hey guys, happy...what is today? Monday?
I am about to head out, I am going to epcot
tonight with Celine and her family for
probably my last festival of the arts.
I don't think I'm gonna get to go this
next coming weekend so today's Monday and
it's Kissy Simmons and somebody else on
the Broadway show.
I'm really sorry I didn't film last week
show, I went twice and I just had my camera
with me both times and I didn't really want
to take it out and we had the kids with
us so I didn't really want to film anything and
now I'm realizing how difficult it is to
hold this DSLR while i'm doing this so
it's about 1:30 now I'm about to head out.
I'm taking my camera, I'm definitely filming
tonight and bringing my mic, gonna be there
for most of the afternoon and the evening
First I am going to go to Disney
Springs there's this really cute tea towel
that Celine got that has like Illinois's
on it and has like different cities from
Illinois. I emailed them and they have
one for Kansas and it's super cute and I
just really would like to get it for just
to hang up on my wall or something because I
love it and I'll show you guys a clip of
that in a second.
So I'm gonna go there first and then
stop at sephora and then probably head
to Epcot, so let's go. I was about ready to
leave and then I realized I never even
show you this that I'm looking for.
So this is the Illinois one and she got
it from Sugarboo and company so that's
the new place at disney springs and I just
think it's so cute it's like a little
tea towel it's embroidered I would love
to see what the Kansas looks like
because I would love to hang this up
because a little bit taller. I'd love to
hang this up in my room somewhere so
yeah this is what i'm looking for.
Hopefully they have it they said they do
so we'll see.
Ok I'm back and they did have the
Kansas dish towel it was cute, i'll insert a
picture making other picture up here. I
didn't buy it,
the only problem was it was kind of yellow
and there was a lot of towns on there that
I knew but I'd ever been to before so I
was like, yeah. So I'll think about it maybe
i'll go back and get it, I'm not
sure, it was okay. And then I went to Sephora and
let me see if I can find it. I wanted to switch out my
clinique foundation for kat von d because
hers is cruelty free and god, where did it go.
I put a swatch on my hand of mine and then
some of the kat von d and I just couldn't
find a color that was the same and one
of the ladies helped me and none of them
were really the same so she gave me this little sample
and I didn't know they gave thsee out, a
little sample of the one that was closest
and wrote the name of it on there, so that was
really nice so I can try that when I get
home and if it's okay i'll go back and buy
the full version so I just thought that was kind of
cool.
So yeah, now we're going to Epcot!
[Music]
This is different from the first one! V cute.
It's a new one! A new one!
Very nice.
Oh yeah! Oh yeah boy!
Beauty and the Beast!
It's Mrs. Potts and Chip!! Although, they kind of creep me out, no offense. I like this one the most. That one is cute.
Because then look at how pretty she is!
Festival of the Arts is proud to present
Disney on Broadway! Please welcome Kissy Simmons and Alton Fitzgerald White!
Hakuna Matata!
What a wonderful phrase!
Hakuna Matata ain't no passing craze.
[Song Continues...]
Not long after the release of the original animated feature, this story of
lions and hyenas battling for the Savannah was reenvisioned on
stage by the fantastic director, designer,
and genius miss Julie Taymor.
And the show has gone on to become the Kind of Broadway, literally.
We are really grateful to have been apart of that, weren't we?
And actually, this November, the Lion King will celebrate it's 20th anniversary on Broadway in New York.
[He Lives In You]
[Can You Feel the Love Tonight]
The captured princess Aida falls madly in love with the captain of
the Egyptian army, the only problem?
He's betrothed to the pharaoh's daughter.
[Easy as Life]
Alright so I am back home I hope you guys
enjoyed that. I had a really good time,
it's really funny. Kissy Simmons was so
funny. Thinking about it I'll
probably get to go back actually.
This coming monday so the last weekend
that will be the last day of the
festival actually. Because I might be
off or I'll probably have a morning shift
so now I'm working 8 days straight and then one
of my old CP roommates from 2013 is
coming down and we're going to run the
pricess 5k and 10k so I hope to take some
video of that. Sorry I'm out of breath because i just
ran up the stairs. Anyway yeah, so I
hope you guys have a good night and look
forward to those later!
