5 Meal Prep Dinners - DIFFERENT Healthy Meals Every Day! - Mind Over Munch - Duration: 9:33.
*SIGH*
I'm SO tired of eating the SAME dinner EVERY night...
*GASP*
If you get creative, you don't have to!
Hey, Munchies!
Meal prep is great to help us stay on track with being healthy, but a lot of you have
made it clear, you DON'T like to eat the same thing every day, and neither do I!
So how do you keep it interesting?
Most people do tend to eat the same things each day for breakfast and lunch, but they struggle
when it comes to making quick, healthy, and INTERESTING dinners. So today I'm going to share
a meal prep for the week – 5 DIFFERENT dinner meals for 5 nights!
You never HAVE to eat the same thing if you get creative.
Again, you don't have to replicate THIS, I encourage you to take it and make it your own,
I'm just showing you this as an example for how it CAN be done.
I've also included some vegan meals so there's something here for everyone, so adjust as
you need.
Here's our menu for the week –
Monday: Chicken Tacos with Rice & Beans.
Tuesday: Fresh Tofu Bowl.
Wednesday: Mediterranean Chicken Salad.
Thursday: Vegan Burrito with Rice & Veggies.
Friday: Curry Chicken Salad Sandwich with Veggies.
Not too shabby, eh?
AND this menu is for a dinner for TWO people, since a lot of you have requested for that, too.
So how do we meal prep these different meals EFFICIENTLY?
I'm going to show you right now.
And if you want MORE meal prep insight, check out my meal prep eBook because it teaches
efficient and effective meal prep for all lifestyles –
it's available at mindovermunch.com/ebooks,
use the code 5WAYS for 10% off any eBook or package this week only.
To keep these meals balanced, I started by focusing on the components I want in each:
A protein, a grain or starch, and a vegetable.
With that formula, there are endless combinations.
Let's start with our proteins.
I have 3 dinners that will include chicken, so I'm going to prep that chicken
3 different ways!
I've got a pan lined with foil and I'm using the foil to divide the pan into compartments
rather than using 3 different pans.
The first is very basic, I've brushed on a bit of olive oil, and seasoned with salt
and pepper. The next has olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika. And the third has some olive oil,
salt, pepper, chili powder, and basic taco seasoning (see my meal prep eBook for
my personal taco seasoning recipe OR you could use a pre-made mix).
This way I can keep each protein tasting a little bit different, but keep the efficiency
with baking them all at the same time.
Once those are cooked through, I can diversify even more by chopping them – so I'm chopping
one into cubes, one into slices, and shredding one.
So in the time it takes to make 1 flavor or style of chicken, I now have 3 that look AND
taste different.
I can label and store them so I can use them throughout the week (I will link these chalkboard labels
in the description if you're interested).
You'll see how they're all used when we put it all together, but let's prep the
shredded chicken now – it's going in my cold curry chicken salad!
In a mixing bowl, add Greek yogurt, curry powder, lemon juice, and salt and pep.
Mix to combine.
Then, add your shredded chicken, green onion, celery, raisins, and cashews, once again mixing
to combine.
It's that easy!
And a tip for my vegan friends: plain unsweetened coconut yogurt can be used in place of the Greek yogurt,
and chickpeas are delicious in chicken salads in place of the chicken!
For my second protein source, I've chosen tofu to offer some ideas for those looking
for plant based-recipes, but remember, you could apply the seasonings from before to
tofu, or the ones that I'm about to show to chicken or any other protein, too!
First, I press my tofu for a few hours, so I usually do this before I even start the meal prep.
I put it on paper towels between plates to get rid of as much moisture as possible.
Then I am cutting one into cubes and one into sticks - again, to diversify.
I create a mixture of soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar and added that to my tofu
cubes – you could marinate it for 30 minutes or a few hours if you have the time and want
the added flavor.
With the sticks, I've just rubbed down with some salted taco seasoning.
This time, I am going to use separate trays because the tofu is different sizes and they may
take different amounts of time to cook because of that. If you cut them all the same, you
could use one tray and do the same foil dividing trick as before.
Bake those for 20 to 45 minutes, and BOOM!
Baked tofu for the week.
For grains, I'm cooking up some quinoa and some rice.
I could just cook them plain and season as I want, but since I've got two DIFFERENT
grains and so many other varying components, I'm going to add even more flavor with some
variations.
For the easiest Mexican rice ever, in a large pot, add minute brown rice, broth, tomato sauce,
garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pep.
Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer for about 15 minutes, and then stir in some chopped
cilantro!
So easy, extra flavor and fun, but NO extra work.
Next, I'm making an herby lemon quinoa!
In a large pot, add quinoa, broth, and salt and pep.
Bring to a boil and turn down to a simmer.
Once the liquid is absorbed, about 12 to 15 minutes, you can add in lemon zest, lemon juice, fresh
parsley, fresh basil, and fresh thyme,
and mix to combine.
I LOVE using herbs because they're so fresh and fragrant without having to turn
to fat for flavor.
For my vegetables, in one pan I'm adding red bell pepper, green bell pepper, red onion,
and mushrooms.
Drizzle on a little olive oil, salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder, paprika, and some optional
cayenne pepper - if you like a little kick!
Toss to coat.
I'm also tossing together some of those same vegetables for a cold dish, which keeps
shopping AND chopping efficient.
In a large mixing bowl, add chopped red bell pepper, green bell pepper, cherry tomatoes,
red onion, Kalamata olives, minced garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, lemon juice,
and salt and pep.
Mix to combine!
Then I'm going to add parsley and feta cheese, and toss lightly to finish.
This makes a lovely salad, and it's one way that I can re-use those SAME ingredients with NEW
flavors and dishes.
Prepping the SAME ingredients for warm or cold dishes is a great way to offer variety
to your meal prep.
For my second vegetable pan I'm using chopped broccoli, sweet potato, zucchini, and yellow
bell pepper.
Drizzle on a little olive oil, add some lime juice, salt, pepper, dried oregano, and
dried thyme.
Toss to coat.
I'm putting both of those prepped vegetable pans into the oven TOGETHER to keep things efficient,
and meal prep has never been easier!
For some additional substance and variety throughout the week, I'm also taking some
canned black beans that I've drained and rinsed, and seasoning them with fresh parsley, lime
juice, and salt and pep. Portion them out into containers that I can use differently when needed,
and now I have literally everything prepared that I need for 5 DIFFERENT meals. So let me
show you how I put it together throughout the week.
Monday – Chicken Tacos with Rice and Beans.
The hard work is done – chicken and vegetables are already cooked, which are great fillings
for my store-bought corn tortillas.
As a side dish, I've mixed together my Mexican rice, portioned beans, and some salsa.
What a tasty Monday meal!
Tuesday – Fresh Tofu Bowl.
Everything is ready to be layered into my bowl – I've reheated my herby lemon quinoa
and roasted veggies, along with my beans and asian-inspired tofu, and I'm topping it
off with some fresh avocado slices and a lime wedge, as a healthy and refreshing dressing.
Tuesday night is a success!
Wednesday – Mediterranean Chicken Salad.
On a bed of spinach, I add my cold quinoa, prepped Mediterranean veggie salad, sliced
paprika chicken, and a drizzle of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and half a lemon.
Wednesday night looks fancy, but couldn't have been easier!
Thursday – Vegan Burrito with Rice and Veggies.
On a sprouted grain tortilla, I layer in some spinach leaves, along with my beans, taco tofu,
and salsa!
Roll it up, and serve with rice and roasted pepper mixed veggies on the side!
Friday – Curry Chicken Salad Sandwich.
I've layered the curry chicken salad on my Ezekiel bread – I don't generally need
an additional grain like rice if I'm having a whole sandwich, so I'm just sticking to
the delicious roast veggies as a side dish.
Fun Friday!
And there you have it – a meal prep dinner menu for TWO people, where you can enjoy a different
meal EVERY night of the week.
Would you also believe that I shopped at Trader Joe's for most of this stuff, and only spent about
50 to 60 bucks?
That's only about 5 to 6 dollars per DIFFERENT dinner, and a lot of those ingredients I can use for
my other meals for the week, too, like celery or herbs.
Not bad for two people - that could be ONE dinner out for two, or FIVE dinners in!
No excuses.
A lot of people knock meal prep – don't want to spend the time – I've got a 1 hour
meal prep video, don't want to spend the money – I've got a 50 dollar WHOLE FOODS
meal prep video, don't want to eat the same thing, BOOM here you go.
If you want to hate – guess what – no one is MAKING you meal prep.
It's there as an option IF it helps you with your healthy lifestyle!
If you've got another meal prep challenge that you'd like me to try, let me know in the comments
below!
You all are my greatest inspiration and I can't thank you enough for it.

Singing Posture: Medium-High Chest Posture - Duration: 4:38.
Hello happy singers!
I am Katarina, the founder of How 2 Improve Singing.
You may not give too much thought to good posture when singing but in today's video,
you are going to learn why good singing posture, more specifically optimal chest posture,
is essential for effective singing.
I am also going to share an easy trick to finding your most optimal chest posture
so that you can sing with freedom and power.
Stay tuned.
O.K. Let's talk about all the why's, what's and how's of optimal singing posture.
Good posture is the starting point for effective breathing and singing.
Yes, even before you take a breath or start singing, your body needs to align optimally
to function effectively.
A medium-high chest position is one part of overall good body alignment.
What does medium-high chest posture look and feel like?
Your breastbone is raised up and forward.
Your shoulders are down and wide.
The word posture sounds static but the truth is that the chest alignment is dynamic and
gives you the freedom to move and sing without any tension.
This alignment allows the ribcage to open and move freely with every breath.
The lower ribs have the space to move and the diaphragm can descend fully.
Now, you are able to take a sufficient and efficient breath needed for a sung phrase.
What is it not?
Many singers confuse medium-high chest posture with a rigid, soldier-like position.
If you cannot move your breastbone higher, then your chest is too high.
As a result, your body will compensate by curving your spine excessively and by moving
your head out of alignment, which impedes the sound production.
Collapsed chest.
Many singers start with a collapsed chest and expand it with the first breath or with
every breath they take.
This is very laborious and can wear you out pretty quickly.
It also creates tension in the upper torso and the neck area, which again may negatively
affect your sound.
A collapsed chest can be one of the reasons why you run out of breath when singing.
Hands-Up Technique.
Here is an easy trick to find a medium-high chest position.
I like to call it the Hands-Up Technique.
Stretch your arms over your head while breathing normally and then bring the arms slowly down
while keeping your chest up and open.
Breathe normally, don't hold your breath.
Find a medium high chest position.
The breastbone is up and forward.
Voila!
You just found a medium-high chest posture.
Remember that you need to establish this optimal singing posture even before you start breathing
or singing.
Maintain this position throughout singing and don't allow your chest to collapse.
But that's a topic for another video.
In today's video, you learned about the medium-high chest posture, why it's important for efficient
singing and how to find it.
But this is just one aspect of good breathing technique.
To help you understand if you are breathing correctly for singing, I prepared a complete
breathing checklist for you.
Click the link in the description below the video to download your free breathing checklist.

Hello, today's story is called: The old man and the chair
A daughter went to ask her pastor to come to her house to pray with her father.
On his arrival, the pastor found the man lying in bed ,
with his head resting on two pillows and an empty chair by his bedside.
"I see you were expecting me," said the pastor.
"Not at all, who are you?" replied the man. "I'm the new pastor at the local church," the pastor responded,
"I thought that chair by your bedside was put out because you knew I was coming to see you."
"Oh," replied the man in the bed,
"Do you think you could close the door for a minute?"
Intrigued, the pastor closed the door.
"I have never told anyone this, not even my daughter," began the man,
"I never knew how to pray.
At church, I used to listen to the preaching, but that was it.
I had given up all hope of ever praying," the old man continued,
"until one day, four years ago, when my best friend said to me:
'Peter, prayer is simply having a conversation with Jesus.
Here is my proposal:
Why don't you try sitting on one chair, putting another one in front of you
and, by faith, imagine Jesus is sitting opposite you.
It's not nonsense since Jesus has promised to be with us always.
Then all you have to do is speak to Him and listen to Him like you are with me right now!'
So I gave it a try and loved it so much that I now do it for two hours every day.
However, I'm careful, because if my daughter saw me speaking to an empty chair
she would be very worried about me!"
The Pastor was deeply touched by the old man's story and encouraged him to carry on as he had been doing.
He prayed with him, and then went back to church.
Two days later, the daughter called the pastor to tell him that her father had died that afternoon.
"Did he go peacefully?" he asked.
"Yes he did. As I was leaving the house at two o'clock, he called me to his bedside
and bid me good day, kissing me on the cheek.
When I got back from shopping, about an hour later, I found him dead.
But the strangest thing happened.
Just before he died, he must have leant over to his side in order to rest his head on the empty chair
that was next to his bed.

Top 10 Cycling Photos - By Graham Watson - Duration: 6:38.
- Graham Watson is one of the most legendary cycling
photographers of all time.
His career span the careers of the likes of
Bernard Hinault and Greg LeMond,
right through to modern day
greats such as Chris Froome, Nairo Quintana,
and Fabian Cancellara.
In fact, he started all the way back in 1977
and it was a photograph of Eddy Merckx
in the Champs-Élysées that really caught
the attention of the cycling press.
And he only finished his career at the beginning of 2017.
Now, Graham has been very kind in selecting his Top 10
favourite photos of that 40-year career.
So in no particular order, here it goes.
(jazz music)
What an icon photo this one is.
It looks like the race director's car
has run over Jesper Skibby, but the story is
that he'd been on a day-long breakaway
at the 1987 Tour of Flanders, and here,
on the brutally steep climb of the Koppenberg,
he'd run out of strength and fallen
onto the side of the road.
The race director's car was forced to go around him
in order to allow the riders behind to pass through,
and actually it didn't touch Skibby at all,
despite the fact that he actually gave out quite a loud
scream, due to the close proximity of the car.
Now this was the only image to capture
that particular moment, so it gave Graham a big name
for himself in the cycling-mad country of Belgium.
(jazz music)
Sean Kelly was the Peter Sagan of his era,
and as such he used to dominate Graham's photo archive
at that particular time.
He won countless races across mainland Europe,
but this is Graham's favourite
and it features Sean on St. Patrick's Hill in Cork,
at the 1991 Nissan Classic.
It shows a man on his rivet.
Despite being in the twilight of his career at this point,
determined to put on a big show for his home fans.
(jazz music)
Cycling photographers are normally too far away
from a sprint-finish crash to get a really good image,
but Graham got this one absolutely perfectly.
It's the 2010 Tour de Suisse and Mark Cavendish,
Heinrich Haussler, and Gerald Ciolek have hit the deck.
Tom Boonen and Juan Antonio Flecha are desperately
trying to take evasive action to stay upright.
And what I particularly love
is you can see the Oakley glasses in the corner
of your screen, desperately making a bid for freedom.
Amazingly, despite this high-speed crash
at well in excess of 60 kilometres per hour,
all the riders got up, crossed the finish line,
and started the next day.
(jazz music)
The 1988 World Professional Road Race Championships were
held in Ronse, in Belgium, and home favourite,
Claude Criquielion was looking good for victory,
but then a crash with Canadian Steve Bauer allowed
Maurizio Fondriest of Italy to take an unchallenged victory.
In the words of Graham himself,
"Such emotion is rare to see in cycling these days,
"but Criquielion's is hard to forget, almost 20 years on.
"Although time has concluded the true fault of that famous
"crash was more Criquielion's than Bauer's, there was no
"forgetting the raw, ugly, weighted hatred towards
"the Canadian in the moments after the incident."
This is a shot that will be etched
into the history of cycling.
(jazz music)
Graham says that he had to choose an image
of Fabian Cancellera amongst his favourites,
because he'd been capturing images of the Swiss
rider ever since the 1999 World Time Trial Championships
in Verona.
And he's chosen this one,
of Cancellera riding up the Muur van Geraardsbergen in the
2008 Tour of Flanders, in front of hordes of cycling fans.
And Graham says he always felt the job of a cycling
photographer is not just to capture action shots,
but also to capture the unique atmosphere
and raw emotion of our sport of cycling.
And Fabian, as well as Tom Boonen, really helped
him to do that over the years.
(jazz music)
The modern era has been predominately dry for the
Tour of Flanders, but Graham has seen his fair share
of wet and muddy additions.
And here, at the 1983 Tour of Flanders, the conditions
were nothing less than biblical.
A week's worth of rain on the Paddestraat here,
as well as loads of mud, which has washed in from the
surrounding fields.
And Graham loves this grainy, black and white shot
because of it's unique appearance.
Like an image, lost in time, when only true Flandrians
could get out of bed and race and win.
(jazz music)
Taken on a wet Alpine stage of the 1991 Tour de France,
this image perfectly captures the great Miguel Indurain.
His statuesque body seemingly immune to the sweat
and grime attached to most other riders.
Indurain hated riding in these conditions,
but this image serves as the inspiration to lesser champions
who know that Indurain was just like everybody else
when it comes to riding in the wet.
(jazz music)
Graham says that this picture perfectly sums up what it
used to be like as foreigner trying to make your way
in Belgium when you're a bit down on your luck.
This is Sean Yates at the 1982 Gent Wevelgem.
And Yates was a dominate amateur rider but it took him
a lot of time, and a lot of hard work, to finally make
his way in the pro ranks.
And it's the less glamorous side of the sport
that often provides the best pictures.
(jazz music)
This picture of a sprint finish at the 2016 Paris Nice
is a throw back to the days of old,
when argy-bargy and physical contact was
part and parcel of sprint finishes.
Bouhanni is obviously a rider with a chip on his shoulder.
He doesn't have many friends in the peloton
but cycling needs people like him, for good or for bad.
Thankfully for the Frenchman, though, Michael Matthews
had the incredible skill to remain upright,
and in fact it was the Australian who was ultimately
handed the victory after Bouhanni was later disqualified
by the jury.
(jazz music)
Despite being in no particular order, this
is Graham's favourite photograph from his 40 year career.
It is Bernard Hinault and Greg LeMond on Alpe d'Huez
back at the 1986 Tour de France.
Manual focus, manual exposure, and manual flash composition,
and taken at the side of the road, because Graham,
at the time, had no access to an in-race motor.
This was Greg LeMond's breakthrough year,
where he overhauled the great French champion.
And in the days of no helmets and no shades,
the pain, concentration, motivation, and determination,
is plain for us to see.
And in Graham's own words,
"This is two gladiators going about their work
"in true sporting glory."
Well, we hope that you have enjoyed looking through
those famous photographs just as much as we have.
All that remains for me to say
is a huge thank you to Graham Watson for allowing
us to see them and also giving us the back story
behind each one.
If you have enjoyed it, please give us the thumb's up
just down below and if you've yet to subscribe to the
Global Cycling Network, please do so
by clicking on the globe.
Now two videos which we thought you might be interested
in off the back of those photos,
in the top corner up there is the iconic climb
up the Koppenberg, the famous and brutally steep cobble
climb in the Tour of Flanders.
And in the bottom corner is the iconic climb
of Alpe d'Huez.

because this is also his vacation time
so we would like to find out when did you begin working with Tao?
it has been almost 3 years?
ah... about 2 years
but we have started working on the 3rd year's production
and then?
on the time?
yes
I have known him for about 3? no, 2 years plus
so what sort of person do you think Tao is like?
Ah he.. let me think
to begin with
in my three years of knowing him... he's perhaps the most sincere and honest person I've known
so you are saying that he's sincere/true, right?
yes, and that is really my heartfelt answer
how should I explain this?
he will make his own compositions/products for everyone, he will not imitate or copy from others
and maybe C-POP holds a different meaning to others
but to us, it's about your motive, the reason for you choosing that song
and Tao.. it's because he's Chinese
so this is C-Pop, in essence
and if the motive is pure, that is it's because I want to write a good song
and not because I want to write something that resembles western pop or any other sort
or that I want to choose this feature, or choose to do this in rap/'hip hop style
so that is, basically C-POP
and this is a very sincere form/way of making music
yes, and that is to write down one's thoughts, what one wishes to write, and share it with everyone
and not to write according to what the market dictates
So Tao's in L.A to make his new album
so are there any new breakthroughs in this upcoming new album?
there's definitely some
he has basically wrote for himself since the beginning
rapping himself.. and he essentially wrote everyone in his first album
and the breakthroughs he makes are definitely in terms of his singing and the tunes he composes
his singing is getting better and better
and he..
his singing is getting better?
that is absolutely true
so is there a great improvement in his singing skills?
I don't quite get what you mean
i mean, his singing skills? ability to sing?
singing skills is.. ah, let me explain
let me explain, Tao's producer here is Chinese but he grew up in America
so his Chinese/Mandarin may not be the best
so sorry
so fans, please be understanding
ok, so what I meant is
is his singing level and ability much better than before?
definitely
his greatest improvement this time round, I really feel is in that.. in this round of recordings... I hope everyone will look forward to it
his singing this time round, it's really.. the improvement is really great
his singing this time round, he can basically do whatever we want him to do, so be it in terms of the pitch(high/low), the control of his vocal strength, his falsettos etc
it's all very professional
(mumbles something about the time they were in Shanghai... too low I can't really catch)
ok
and there's one more point, the improvements in his songwriting
so in this next album there will still be a lot of songs/tunes composed by Tao?
yes, basically in terms of writing music, we don't divide our work out too clearly here. we essentially create everything together
so for a lot of songs, I'll play the piano for him
while Tao writes the tune himself
Ah, and I saw that you all are preparing music for the concert, is that it?
so are there any highlights in terms of music for his upcoming concert?
can you reveal something to us?
this should be a secret
I can't tell you
ok
So Tao's involved in the entire creation/production process, right?
yes, definitely
because Tao's the type who wants to show things to his fans and everyone else, himself
his own artistic mind and thoughts
and his..
the reason why he writes music
is what he wants to share with everybody
and not something that we give to him, which we think is and should be pop music or something that will work in the market
he's not that sort of person. he's really an artist who's slowly opening up new areas to compose in, for himself
ah I'm so sorry, please don't feel that the volume is too soft
because Taotao is doing an interview outside
so you all might be able to hear what we say too clearly
but we really have to try to keep the work environment as conducive as possible
hey, I see that there are some who have just joined this live broadcast, why don't you introduce yourself again?
hello, I'm Daryl. K
I'm Tao's music producer, songwriter
we have worked on many songs together
so which songs did you work on with Tao? in his previous album?
so erm... I mean, The Road
probably my two favorites
ah Nineteen
ah Nineteen
Nineteen
have you all heard it before? 19?
Underground King
There are comments saying that your English's great
oh yeah, right
of course! he only knows how to speak English
his chinese.. it's just to talk to all of you
my dear fans, what are you all doing?
and Black White, they are all (stuff he's worked with Tao)
so let's have one last question, ok?
Describe how Tao is like in your mind, in a a sentence/phrase
the Tao in my mind?
yes, Huang Zitao
how he's like in my mind?
how is he like, do in in a sentence/phrase
a sentence/phrase?
I don't know.. I should be more serious
can I just explain?
ah ok, go ahead, speak
I want to say that he's very brave/courageous
why do you say so?
because..although he's younger than me
but this is something he taught me
he will really live his life bravely
and do all the things that he wants to courageously
he's courageous in the way he's living his life, and doing the things that he wants to do
take for example, in an amusement park, he'll definitely go for the most exciting/thrilling rides
what sort of "most exciting rides" does he go for in the amusement parks?
(can't catch)
he will definitely drag you on the ride for 3 or 4 times, consecutively
he's also scared, but he dares to do it
this is something that he..
really?
so you are saying that he's also scared in the amusement park, but he dares to go on the rides?
and this extends to his attitude in life
for example, in his music, the reason why he has so many works is because he dares to take part in creating each song. he dares to say that he has an idea
he will sing it out for you and then we'll talk about how it'll be
and this actually requires a lot of courage, because if you have had no prior experience doing this
a lot of people wouldn't dare to show/expose their inner thoughts for all to see
ok
so this is really something that he has also taught me in
so everyone's saying that Tao going to the amusement park is something very fun
because he was frightened to tears when he last went to a haunted house
do you know about that?
are you referring to his trips in the States or?
ah, in Japan
ah, in Japan
I don't know about that
ok
we are very thankful to you for sharing about Tao with us, thanks
ok
please look forward to the next album
everyone, please look forward to the upcoming album, ok?
ok, come
thanks!
let me introduce our second friend here to everyone
because Tao is in the midst of an interview now
we're going to go interact with Tao soon
everyone, please hang in there, and while we wait
we have someone from Yoho here with us
he's also the director of the entire documentary in L.A.
so can we have a short introduction?
hello everyone, I'm Pa Fei
and then.. ah okie, I might need to lower my voice a bit
ah yes
because they are still in the midst of working
and ah, I'm not the director. Rather, I'm the producer of the documentary
ah it's ok
and I'm the head of content for Yoho's new media
basically the head of digital content
so I'm basically here to make a music documentary of Zitao's holiday here, him making music etc.
so previously Tao has worked with Yoho. We have all seen the magazine cover with Tao on it online or at the news stands, right?
yes
so after these two days of working with him, what sort of person do you think Tao is?
your own opinion, compared to what you normally read as I'm sure you do pay attention to how other media may portray him
but this time, after working with him for two full days
have you discovered anything different about him?
I feel that he's actually rather meticulous
of course I do agree with everyone that he can be quite mischievous
and I..
frank and to the point
yes
at the same time he' very meticulous and thoughtful, he does think about others
for example, he often asks our Russian camerawoman if she's tired
occasionally he will help her block..
e.g. sometimes when people are getting off the car, he'll help her block them
I feel that be it to girls or guys, he does...
that is he will take care of others
Host: actually we... / Pa Fei: his actions are thoughtful of others
actually the filming these few days have been rather tiring
but Tao, throughout the whole filming process, showed his care and concern for the people around him
and this really really moves all of the staff here greatly
so is it possible to talk about what we are actually doing here in L.A.?
i'll reveal a bit
Host: okie, just a bit / Pa Fei: it's basically his..
we'll be recording his various stops and experience around Fairfax, a famous district here
(can't catch what he's saying)
then I.. ah, I'm so sorry fans, our two guests here don't really have a very good command of Chinese
one usually speaks in English while the other speaks mostly in Cantonese
please do not mind
and then..
we mentioned going to a stylish district here, do you personally feel that Tao's fashionable/stylish?
I feel that his taste in clothing and styling is one of those at the forefront of fashion in China
his clothing style and taste, is that it?
do you feel that there are many chances to Yoho to work with Tao in the future?
because Yoho's one of the leading fashion/style media in the nation
do you think there are more chances for possible collaborations in the future?
including this time
definitely
and so actually I want to ask one last question
so in the process of working with him
including the different side of Tao you've talked about just now
so do you think you can describe the Tao that you see, in a short sentence/phrase?
I feel that he's very resilient
he's resilient to all sorts of people
and he's also very forthright
a very frank and direct person
for example
frank and direct? why's everyone describing Tao with that phrase these days?
yes, right
for example, when he goes to a shop, if he doesn't like it, he will tell me directly
for things that he like, he will make his decisions very quickly
so I feel that he really knows what he wants
he knows what he wants
so with regards to the objections that he raises, in your opinion, it's something that he has thought through
and it's not because he's willful or things like that?
yes yes, and I'm happier when he tells me things directly
so now everyone is talking about this phrase, which is to live life to the fullest
it ties in greatly with our collaboration with New Balance 247
so what are your thoughts on using that phrase to describe Tao?
it's quite suitable
really
ok ok
let's look forward to the documentary made by Yoho
so you have no other highlights that you wish to reveal at this point?
or are there other things you wish to share with everyone here?
or which Yoho platform/channel should they watch for updates?
there are clips of him singing live, and I feel that he's pretty good at singing
so everyone, please remember to watch
so Tao will be singing some of his new songs in the documentary?
yes, just a bit
a little bit
we won't put in a lot
hey, everyone's asking when it would be released, can you perhaps mention a date or something?
a rough estimate of when..
early summer, late spring, early summer
late spring, early summer, ok
ok, thanks!!
ok, so next we are going to look for Huang Zitao
and let him say hi and give away prizes. are you all ready?
can you all hear me?
ok, then so I'm coming over
we may have to interrupt him for a while, so everyone please hurry up and interact with him
because even though we say it's NPC?
but everyone's human
it's just a thought
what are you doing, can you film over there instead?
ah here? here, right?
let's talk about games, since we are on the topic of NPC
games's the last topic?
when did you start playing games?
a year and a half ago?
and you were already playing Wang Zhe Rong Yao (King of Glory?)
yes
in 1.5 year's time
and you have made it to the overall top 5 ranks across all servers
I was originally number 1
later when I came over to the States, I couldn't play in the tournaments
so I lost 2 stars
and the person behind me caught up
that's why I dropped to number 5
so playing games is a totally relaxing thing for you?
I treat myself as a professional gamer
because you know, sometimes during filming
I rarely go out after I get back to the hotel after filming
and while I'm in the States.. well, I'm vacationing here
going to clubs, and drinking a bit of alcohol
it's normal to relax a little like this
when I'm working/filming though..I really....
for example you may wake up at 6 to film something
you are reading the script when the makeup's being done
I'm talking about tv dramas here
after reading the script, it's straight off to filming on set
and I get finish at about 6, and get back home
and then I have about 2 hours to memorize the script
memorize the next day's script, it might not be much but it's to look through so I won't forget the lines
so what do you do with all the remaining time? well, play games
if not, what else can you do?
or I may make my music
but I won't have much to do if I don't feel like doing it
I also don't watch TV or movies
so just play games
that's it
for example, if the journey's long, say about 1-2 hours, and I don't want to sleep
I'll play games
so according to how you describe it, it's something that you do to pass the time
but you have treated it as something professional
yes, because I don't like to lose
if I lose in the game, I'll go crazy
you are the same in other matters?
it really... hooks you in
(can't quite catch, it's on the game though)
my reputation (in the game) recently is at about 86%
so with regards to gaming, you don't like to lose. you have a strong desire for victory
what about in other aspects?
I don't want to get angry
because I get angry when I lose
Can you say hi to everyone and do a short lucky draw?
I'm sorry
pardon me
are there people watching this?
yes
there's only about a hundred thousand viewers
your handphone's so hot
hi everyone!
I'm ZTAO, Tao, Huang Zitao
I.. I
my eyes are a bit swollen
and then can you thank everyone for buying the pair of shoes..
thanks everyone, for buying New Balance 247
I'm really thankful...you all know that I have very high standards when it comes to shoes
the shoes I wear are usually very...
since I'm endorsing this..
why did I choose to endorse this?
because this line of shoes appeals to me greatly
I'm telling you all, from now onwards I'm only going to wear 247
in my life, 247 is a necessity
why is that so?
because it's New Balance 247
so now you know
so thanks! everyone, for buying New Balance 247
I hope 247 will accompany you all throughout your lives
that's so fake!
come let's do a lucky draw. we'll get everyone to type 247 in the comments
and our platform will capture 5 entries
and they will win air tickets to come to your event on 22nd April
please say it to everyone again
this is how it is.. everyone type in 247.. ah, you have all heard it
that's right, all of you type in 247 in the comments, and I'll do 5 screengrabs
and (those 5 captured by the screengrab), I'll pay the ground-trip air tickets for you all to come and see me
so generous. only 5 of you
can't we add on a few more?
ah, then how about 10, ok?
nah, that's too many
how about 6?
ok, 6
ok 1... do you need to capture my face in this
do you need to capture my face in this?
he will help you do the screengrab
ok, you do it
1...
are you done?
I'm done
do I say "3"?
you'll do the screengrab when I countdown to 3
you should go "1, 1, 1,2,3,4,5,6" and then
"1..1" XD
you need to shout 6 times and he'll do 6 screengrabs
1
2
1
done? okie, let's do 1 more
2
1,2,3
1,2,3
1,2,3
1,2,3
ok, so that's 6 right?
ok
then let's pick another 4
huh?
forget it, 6 it is
okok
and what do you have to say to everyone?
and you can talk briefly about your time here in L.A.
and then we'll end today's broadcast
what do you all want to hear about my life?
just now a lot of them were wondering about your music and the upcoming concert
then I need to talk to all of you properly on this
My work on the music has been going exceptionally well now
and the music for this round are all very awesome
and it's stuff that all of you will definitely like
I'm telling you, it's the best
invincible
and then after I get back, I'll be filming a movie
after the movie, it'll be the concert
after the concert's done, it's time for my own TV drama
it's all filled with music
it's all my music
in my TV drama
I'm the overall, main producer
and then..
after filming that, I may have about 5 more concerts in the latter half of the year
are you all looking forward to it?
there's a lot for you all to watch this year, The Negotiator, A Chinese Odyssey..
and what else..
the concert
and my new songs
and then... what else is there?
that's it right?
no more right?
it's just Negotiator and A Chinese Odyssey
and there's still New Balance's...
and there's also New Balance's 247
New Balance 247, the New Balance 247 that's going to stay with you through your lives
ok, good
what's up?
show everyone... did you show everyone the house?
no, do you want to show everyone?
yes, this house is rented
because every time I come to L.A, I'll rent houses in different locations
and each one is quite pricey
the rent, that is
why do I have to buy a house in the States?
why do I need to let them earn the money?
for what?
why can't I rent? it's so comfortable?
ok, that's it, bye bye!
ok, so that's the end of our broadcast
and we'll be announcing the winners
and everyone please grab the chance to buy the shoes on OWhat to take part in our fan sign on 23rd April
ok, thanks everyone!
(administrative details for the winners etc)
