Hi there it's Jen from ModernMedicineLady.com
and the Empathic Woman System
and the Word of the Day is SAVINGS. And I
choose this word because I was having
this amazing conversation with somebody
a little while ago where we were talking
about something they really wanted to do
and about their need to come up with
the money to make it happen. And they
basically said well "I really definitely
want to do this and I'm going to need to
save up for it." And it was like light
just dawned on me. I I I suddenly had
this inspiration and I said: "What if you
changed what you're saying and instead
of thinking of it as I need to save up
the money to make this happen,
I need to manifest the money to make
this happen, that I need to come up with
the money, that I need to find a way to
generate the resources and generate the
money to make this happen and, and you
know but I want to make this happen so
I'm gonna make the money happen." And they
got it. Like they were like YEAH!
Definitely.
And I said: "Can you feel the difference
in that, the difference in I need to save
up for it or I need to manifest it. And
how empowering it is to say: I want this
and I'm going to make this happen and
I'm gonna find a way to make it happen
versus I want this but I have limited
resources and I'm going to have to save
my limited resources to make this happen.
And from my perspective it feels like
one is about the idea that there are
unlimited possibilities and we live in a
an Abundant Universe and there are ways
beyond what we even imagined that can
help us to create something and the
other one is the sense of there's
limitation there's lack there's only so
much money available and I'm going to
have to save from my limited pie and I'm
going to have to just you know take a
little scraping off of each piece of
each you know off of the side of each
part of the pie every single week or
something until I come up with enough to
make this happen. And when I even say it
I can feel such a difference. Like try it
out yourself, like okay, so just
repeat after me:
"I really want to make this happen
I'm gonna find a way to manifest the
money." Now try saying: "I really wanted I
really want this to happen,
I'm gonna have to save up for it. Like
can you feel the difference in your body
between those two things? Like when you
say: "I really want to make this happen. I
really want this to happen. I just need
to find a way to manifest the money." It's
like, WOW! I could find a way to manifest
the money. And when we say: "I really want
this to happen.
I'm gonna need to save up for it." It's
like UGH! I personally feel this sense of
expansiveness when I say the first
statement and I feel this sense of like
implosion or like like complete
contraction when I say the second
statement. It feels like I'm gonna have
to deprive myself. I'm gonna have to
scrimp I'm gonna have to save. I'm gonna
have to like you know use my limited
resources and take something like
robbing Peter to pay Paul in order to
make it happen. And what I can tell you
is that I, you know, I'm speaking about
this not just from theory. I'm actually
speaking about it from personal
experience. Because what I have
experienced repeatedly in my life, is
that when I commit to the desire, when I
commit to knowing that something is is
what I need to be doing next and
something is the right thing for me and
it feels really aligned and good to me
that when I say I need to make this
happen... then the Universe has a way of
opening up. Now sometimes what has
happened is that money has had
absolutely nothing to do with it and if
I had been limiting myself by thinking: I
don't have the money to pay for this,
therefore i can't make this happen...
what has ended up, what what, I would
never have ended up doing it. But instead
by saying: "I need to make this happen and
I'm open to the possibility that
resources are going to come that will
allow me to do it" then there have been
opportunities that have opened their way
so I could do it. So like for example
there was a period of time when I was
younger and developing my chops and I
was fairly young and broke
and where I couldn't necessarily afford
to pay full ticket for retreats and
things like that I wanted to go to but I
got opportunities so like people hired
me as their babysitter to take care of
their kids events while things were
going on or I got an opportunity to go
and facilitate workshops at an event so
that my. my basically, my room and
board and my and my my fees were all
covered and sometimes I might even have
been lucky enough to make money doing it.
But that there were opportunities for me to
go and do these things without having to
shell out a whole bunch of money because
I knew I wanted to do it I knew I wanted
to make it happen and I was more
committed to making it happen then I was
to the idea that the only way it could
happen was if I came up with a certain
number or a certain amount of money. Now
sometimes
conversely when I made a decision that I
needed to make something happen what
would happen was that the money would
manifest that I would find a way to
generate that income or I would find a
way to for example when I went to
Seminary I found a way, you know student,
like I was able to get enough student
loans to do everything that I needed to
do and and I was able to just commit to
what mattered and that's the thing
what I have found is when I commit what
I know matters for me and when I commit
to going forward in what feels aligned
the resources open up the opportunities
open up and even if it means that I've
invested in myself even if it means that
there have been times where I've been in
debt for a while it's been amazing how
I've been able to continue to move
forward and I've had the opportunity to
clear that debt and to continuously take
care of myself. Now we live in a world
where people tend to be very cautious.
And so the idea of of looking at it from
the standpoint of instead of thinking of
I need to save to come up with this
versus I need to find a way to manifest
it
that's a little outside of the comfort
zone of a lot of people in this country.
But I really feel strongly from my own
personal experience that when you say
yes to what really matters
the Universe will open the way and I
want to offer a an affirmation for you
to work with which was one that I
offered to this person was talking to
earlier which is: "I'm open to the
possibility that money can come to me in
surprisingly unexpected ways."
So say that after me: 'I'm open to the
possibility that money can come to me
and surprisingly unexpected ways." Doesn't
feel good?
So my question to you right now is... Do
you, are you somebody who believes that
you have to save up for things? Are you
somebody who believes that in order to
make something happen
you're going to have to sacrifice? Or
that, and that, you know, and that your
think, that the first thing you think
about when it comes to something that
you desire is how much is it going to
cost as opposed to is this the right
thing for me to do? And what would it
feel like, if that is the case, what would
it feel like instead to ask yourself the
question: I really, or just to say I
really want to make this happen.
I wonder how I could manifest it. You
know and not even asking a question: I
wonder how I could come up with the
money? But even just really starting with
I really want to make this happen. I
wonder how I could manifest it. I wonder
if there's a way to make this happen
that hadn't even occurred to me. So I
would love to hear what you have to say
about all of this.
This is something that I just feel so
excited about because it's like Oh my
God! What a new way to look at this!
The difference between I'm going to need
to save up for it, or wow I wonder how I
can make this happen, I wonder how I can
manifest what I need to manifest in
order to do it. So I'd love to hear what
you have to say. Please leave a comment
below. And until next word of the day

sense of hopeful anticipation and and
possibility for resources manifesting in
unexpected ways. And in the meantime
