2017 Tesla Model S Updated: A New Face and Improved Range - Duration: 3:28.

2017 Tesla Model S Updated: A New Face and Improved Range

After years of software updates, Tesla finally updates the Model S sedans looks.

Boasting up to 337 miles of range, the Model S is the all-electric dream car envied by many.

Icing on the cake is Ludicrous mode, which blasts the top P100D to 60 mph in a claimed 2.5 seconds.

The lower-spec models offer reduced driving ranges and features.

Luxury items such as an air filter that Tesla says can protect occupants from bioweapons and pollutants—plus available high-tech features such as Tesla's Autopilot—seal the deal.

The Tesla Model S has benefited from constant revisions throughout its life cycle, but its looks have stayed almost exactly the same since it was introduced in 2012.

That finally changes with an update for the 2017 Model S that brings it in line with the recently revealed Model 3 sedan and the Model X crossover.

Gone is the faux front grille, which is replaced by a new front fascia with slightly reshaped headlights and a sleeker, more streamlined look.

Tesla also claims increased driving range for the 90D and P90D models but doesn't cite any mechanical changes that account for the improved numbers.

The 90D, with its 90-kWh battery, improves from 270 miles to 294 miles on a full charge, while the P90D sees range go from 253 miles to 270 miles.

These numbers haven't yet been published on the EPA's website, although Tesla's own site says they're EPA-official.

Another significant mechanical change is the newly standard 48-amp onboard charger that replaces the previous model's 40-amp charger.

Tesla says it enables quicker charging than before when connected to a 240-volt NEMA 14-50 power outlet or to a Tesla Wall Connector.

We don't have exact numbers for the new charger, but the old 40-amp system was estimated to deliver 29 miles of range per hour of charge, so expect more than 30 miles per hour for the new car.

This change won't affect the amount of time it takes to juice up with Tesla's Supercharger network of quick chargers, and a $1500 upgrade that equips the car with a 72-amp charging system is available.

A few new features also join the Model S sedan's options list.

The Model X's HEPA air-filtration system, which is said to be significantly more effective than conventional air filters at removing pollution and allergens from the air, is now included in the $3000 Premium Upgrades package, and two new interior trim choices—Figured Ash Wood and Dark Ash Wood—are also newly available.

To go along with these changes, pricing for the 2017 Model S is up by $1500 across the range.

The rear-wheel-drive 70 trim, with 234 miles of range, starts at $72,700, while opting for the all-wheel-drive 70D (with six extra miles of driving range) costs $5000 extra, as before.

The Model S 90D, which has the highest range of any Tesla at 294 miles, costs $90,700, and the more powerful P90D tops the six-figure mark with its starting price of $110,700.

Tesla says that all of these revisions go into production immediately at the company's factory in Fremont, California.

Because the new face is not something that Tesla will be able to apply as an over-the-air software update, we wonder if some current Model S owners will be jealous of the newer car's sleeker looks.

Revisiting Jenelle Evans' Rocky Road to the Altar - Duration: 3:56.

Revisiting Jenelle Evans' Rocky Road to the Altar

In 24 hours, Jenelle Evans will be a bride.

The North Carolina native, who first rose to fame on 16 and Pregnant, is about to say

"I do" to her future husband David Eason and embark on a new chapter.

As she bids farewell to her single life, the 25-year-old also leaves a rocky road behind

her leading up to this point.

At the time of her first child Jace's birth eight years ago, the then-teenager had a hard

time adjusting to her new life as a mom.

In the midst of divorcing Rogers, Evans began a new relationship with Nathan Griffith, with

whom she shares son Kaiser.

A year after giving birth to her second son, she broke off her engagement to Griffith.

Ultimately, she found love with Eason, with whom she welcomed daughter Ensley and accepted

his proposal in February.

As she wrote in her announcement to fans at the time, "We've decided on forever!

#PerfectTiming."

However, it wouldn't have been perfect timing had Evans not overcome another hurdle in her

life.

As she confirmed in her memoir, the mother formerly battled a heroin addiction and nearly

lost all ties to the people closest to her.

"The first thing I lost to the drug was my family," she wrote in the book.

"I disowned my mother and siblings and friends, but the truth is no one wants to talk to you

when they suspect you're a junkie."

As she told E!'s Ken Baker in July, "I think my low point was with my drug issue and the

whole heroin thing...I almost overdosed and died.

I was trying to run away from my problems."

With the help of rehab, she's been able to put the drug in her past and move on with

Eason by her side.

"David is such a humble man and has never disrespected me.

He can handle me so well," she previously told E! News.

"He treats my boys as if they were his own and that's all I ever wanted for me and my

family."

As the countdown to the wedding continues, take a look at Evans' wedding planning in

pictures

DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER Newly engaged Jenelle shares an up-close and

personal shot of the ring, and we almost went blind.

SURPRISE!

David spills on Instagram how surprised his new fiancée was when he got down on one knee.

"I still can't believe I actually surprised you with the proposal without you catching

on!" he captioned this pic.

"I can't wait until the whole world sees how much I love you, but mostly I can't wait until

I can call you my wife forever!"

HOME SWEET HOME The happy couple poses in front of their new

family house, the bride-to-be writing, "Cannot wait to start another new chapter with you

and our family

SAY YES TO THE DRESS Choices, choices, choices!

Jenelle heads dress shopping to find her perfect bridal gown

GIRLS DAY OUT The soon-to-be-wife recruits some of her most

trustworthy girls to help her find the right dress.

"So happy they were able to come!" she captioned the Instagram post.

NO BOYS ALLOWED The engaged duo poses before the bride heads

I'm Back (COD: Black Ops 3 Gameplay) - Duration: 10:24.

hey guys what's going on it is your boy wet sploosh aka Justin Beckham and I'm bringing

you guys back another call of duty gameplay here today I just want to

apologize once again I know my last video was an apology but this one is

again another apology I guess very similar to the other one but I'm not

going to be doing a apology I guess in the way that that's going to be the

entire video because I know I don't want to do another one of those but I just

kind of want to go over what the channel is gonna be because I know it's it's

it's been quite a long time since I've posted my first video and I've I've done

a lot since then and I feel like I could definitely do so much with this channel

that I'm very very excited to see where this could take me and I really want to

push my options I want to go outside of my comfort zone here and and have fun

with YouTube while I'm here so I just have a few ideas if you guys watched my

first video or my second video I don't know if I mentioned in my first but I

know for a fact I mentioned in my second I said that I was coming to Disney World

I'm here right now I have been working here for about a month and a half

ish and I'm here until May I decided to come here just to kind of come here for

a relaxation period kind of recoup work full time and just relax and what I what

I've done is I've had so much fun working for such an amazing company that

I can't I can't really explain how amazing it is to work for Disney they're

they're an amazing company they're great to their to their their employees or

their cast members and I truly feel honored to work for this company for

for five months I am going back home in May I have not had an xbox here this

entire time my one of my room one of my roommates brought an Xbox

so I was playing a little bit but our Wi-Fi is very bad here so I was unable

to actually be able to play anything online or even stream at all which is

why you you haven't even seen me stream at all if anyone watches my streams

because I can't I've I'm incapable of being able to stream here it's

impossible our Wi-Fi is terrible to say the least and unfortunately I can't pay to

to upgrade so what we are now stuck with is our fact of I just got to play

offline and as great as that is I'm I'm making do I'm playing on my offline I've

been playing multi I've only played multiplayer like one or two times here

it's just super laggy and I don't like lag at all it makes me very upset so

I've just given up trying to play online but of course I do not have an Xbox

anymore my friend decided to move out or I'm sorry I shouldn't call my friend my

roommate decided to move out due to some some problems so now we have this and

maybe I'll talk about it in the neck in another video that's kind of what I want

to talk about in this video is its where what I could do but I am now right now

I'm just kind of I don't have a TV here because he also had the TV and he

doesn't have an Xbox so I've kind of just been watching Netflix playing some

iPhone game stuff like that also now that I do not have an Xbox to play I

found time to do commentaries and actually edit videos which is it's

wonderful for me because I always found that I wanted to not necessarily edit

videos but actually play the games and I know you have to have a balance for that

so this this is kind of created a balance and a love for me that I can't

deny because I love editing videos I think I have so much

editing videos I just wanted to play games more but now I don't have that

it's it's sparked the the joy in my life again for editing so we're gonna be

editing I'm gonna be adding a lot of videos it's gonna be a lot of old

gameplay because I do not have my Elgato here so most of the time I was streaming

through Stritch through twitch and I would use those streams for my gameplays

I now have an elgato it's also at home I did not think of bringing it because I

didn't think I was not bringing my xbox here so I chose not to I chose not to

bring it because I didn't think I brought a lot of my other Xbox stuff

because I did want to get an Xbox here I was gonna get another Xbox but I chose

not to while I'm here so what I've ended up coming with is

that I have this hold on hold on alright sorry about that

I had some technical difficulties with my phone someone like had the wrong

number or something I don't know but anyway as I was saying I don't have an

Xbox here I do have an elgato my elgato is at

home and pretty much what I am doing now is I kind of just play out offline

I completed the entire campaign on veteran and Call of Duty remastered

call of duty four remastered I had an awesome time doing that I raged quite a

lot I wish I could record it but I've been getting a lot of the achievements I

think that's kind of what I focused more for and I I might do like do what an

achievement hunter does and maybe just make it into a a series here where I

create where I create the I create the the series and

or you guys can post an achievement that you guys want me to achieve and I can

get it I think that would be really fun for a lot of people so I think that's

one option that we can go for that's mainly the video that I wanted to post

today's is what what I want to do with this channel and I want it to be very

interactive I want you guys to tell me what you guys want to see games you guys

want me to play stuff like that but I also want to do stuff that I love as

well and I know that a lot of I'm not very picky so I know that practically

everything that you you will I will probably enjoy because I'm very very I'm

not very picky with my games that I play I'll try them out I'll critique them

whatever it may be but I've been having like really an awesome time just just having

fun and here and I've taken a lot of video footage I wish I could I could

vlog it for you I technically can I just I just haven't but maybe soon I will

eventually vlog here I just haven't gotten up the courage to do so but

vlogging is another thing about my channel that I really really enjoy doing

and I think lastly is stories I wouldn't say I have very exciting life outside of

my home but here I have gained so much life experience so much stories from

working at Disney and living with roommates for the first time that I I

love it actually I I love it I actually have so much

experience now and I'm not saying the most experienced person is I'm not but I

have so much experience now that I make story I can make stories so many stories

off of them so I think storytime probably every every once in a while it

would be nice as well and so there's a there's a few few options that we can go

to I definitely do want to be a video game channel I want to

make my videogames a priority in this channel because I think I enjoy it a lot

I like making the gameplays and and editing them all together but I know

that that gets boring after a while you can only play a game for so long before

it gets very boring and I think that's why you need a little bit of moderation

so definitely will play a lot of games on in moderation but I definitely

believe that we have we definitely need to throw something else in there I think

that's why story times vlogs are both something that I would enjoy doing and

have some fun but I'm really really excited to see how this goes I'm gonna

start posting a lot more often especially now that I have a little bit

more time I'm definitely gonna be posting quite often to be able to start

getting my fanbase up because I really really want to become someone that

something somebody that people look up to and I really really enjoy what I'm

doing as far as my job I enjoy it but definitely I think this as a as a job in

itself is a lot of fun but anyway guys that's gonna be pretty much it for today

thank you guys for watching thank you for tuning in I really appreciate it leave a like and thank you Have a wonderful rest of your day

Come to Making Money Make Change! - Duration: 1:15.

I joined Resource Generation a year before I went to Making Money Make Change

and I went because I wanted to be in community with other young people of

color who are also young people with wealth and class privilege working on

social justice.

Before the first time I went to Making Money Make Change, I felt really isolated in

talking to my family about their wealth and redistribution.

As a tech worker in Seattle, I was always told that I was part of the problem as a gentrifier

and as a high income earner

and MMMC gave me the space to understand how I could be part of the solution.

Going to Making Money Make Change helped me find a community of people grappling with

similar questions and showed me that I have a role in social change and helped me see what that role could be

If you're also a young person (18-35) with access to wealth or high income, come to Making Money Make Change

to better understand how you can be part of movements for social justice.

A Peek at Kyoto Cosmetic Brands - Duration: 4:10.

Hey everybody!

Today will be talking about one of my favourite things in Kyoto:

Kyoto Cosmetic Brands!

Although I don't use them personally, but I have a healthy bias...

towards Kyoto brands.

Some of these brands are 100s,

or maybe 200 years old and more,

while some of the brands are pretty new,

like only 10 years old.

And to keep the video short and sweet,

we're just going to introduce three of the biggest brands.

There'll be links in the description below

if you are interested in learning about other Kyoto beauty brands.

Of course, before we jump into the Kyoto beauty brands,

we'd like to welcome our new viewers!

Thank you so much for watching!

Every week, we introduce some Japanese products or Kyoto lifestyle,

and this week it's both!

So, if you are interested in such videos,

do consider subscribing to the channel,

so you won't miss future Japanese product introductions!

So let's start with one of the biggest brands here in Kyoto, Yojiya!

Now, Yojiya was formed in 1904,

which is 113 years ago.

The name comes from a nickname from their customers,

because they were selling popular toothbrushes.

Now these were toothbrushes were called Yoji.

So their nickname Yoji-ya came about,

when Yojiya means Yoji store.

About 20 years after their founding,

they created the Yojiya Oil Blotting paper,

which most of us know today.

What's so special about their Oil Blotting paper

is that they used pure gold foil in the process of making these,

so that the absorption strength of the oil blotting paper is increased.

If you are interested in Yojiya oil blotting papers,

do look out for seasonal versions

or versions that can only be found in certain stores.

From time to time, there are collaborations.

Furthermore, Yojiya has a cafe with instagrammable drinks,

so you can shop and eat at the same time!

The next brand, Shabonya, is a pretty new brand, I would say,

that was formed in 2009.

Remember we said that brands that are younger than 100 years old

are considered young in Kyoto.

What makes this 8 year old brand so popular right now

is that every product is handmade

and are made from natural ingredients.

We're talking about each product being made with the customer in mind.

And what I want to introduce from Shabonya are the lip creams!

Shabonya has a lot of good products,

but these captured my heart when I saw them.

They come in four unusual flavours,

Coffee, Chocolate, Sesame Mint and Matcha.

This one here is the Coffee flavour,

which isn't too heavy that it overstimulates your sense of smell,

but just slight enough to invigorate your spirit.

Let's jump back into the "matured" brands, Ueba Esou!

Ueba Esou was founded in 1751, which is 266 years old!

It started out as a paint expert

related to artworks and product pigmentation.

The other business they are in today is cosmetics,

which their most famous product

is the Ueba Esou Gofun Nail Polish, or chalk powder nail polish.

This innovative move was possible because of their expertise in colour,

which when you look at the colour ranges they have,

you can tell how much vigor and brilliance in their colour.

Moreover, these nail polishes are water-based,

and are made from natural ingredients

What this means is its going to be gentle on the nails,

and your don't get that unique smell from manicure,

that you usually get from nail polishes.

Plus, they also dry up fast too,

thus cutting down your nail painting time.

So, let's answer the final question,

Why Kyoto cosmetic brands?

There are three reasons why you should consider getting them.

One, they have a proven track record.

100 years, 200 years is a long time to be around.

Two, they have access to special ingredients that are around Kyoto,

and three, they make for great souvenirs!

Alright, hope this video has opened up your eyes

to the presence of Kyoto cosmetic brands.

We'll see you in the next video, till then,

stay happy and smile!

We hope you liked that video!

If you'd like more information about other Japanese products,

why not watch one of these videos here?

And if you've not, why not consider subscribing,

so that you won't miss future Japanese products.

Thank you, and we'll be in your care.

Fitness Motivation 💪 5 Tips for Getting Motivated to Workout & STAYING Motivated to Workout! - Duration: 8:37.

When you're brand new to the world of fitness, it's super easy to get

overwhelmed with any and everything relating to diet and exercise. But one of

the hardest parts about starting a healthy lifestyle, is the elusive idea of

"motivation" and inspiration. How do you get motivated to work out? How do you

STAY motivated to work out? In this video, I give you five tips for finding that

healthy lifestyle motivation, and a couple tricks for keeping that

inspiration high.

First, visualize your goals. This can mean a lot of different things to many

different people. Are there a pair of jeans that you want to fit into? Is there

an occasion, or a trip coming up that you want to look good for? Visualizing your

goals can help immensely when it comes to fitness motivation, and the nice thing

is that you can visualize your goals in many different ways. If you have an event

coming up, having a weekly countdown to that event really helps keep me on track.

For daily motivation, scrolling through before-and-after pictures of people when

they've jumped on the healthy lifestyle bandwagon is hugely inspirational for me.

Reddit.com/r/progresspics is a great place for this, particularly

because the people in that subreddit are usually pretty average people for the

most part, without the help of sketchy supplement sponsors, or undisclosed

plastic surgery operations. They're people that are primarily just like you

and me. Usually, they also dive into the exact workout and diet plans that they

used to achieve their goals, which is pretty motivational all on its own and

can further inspire you to maybe do the same.

Motivational tip number two: have your workout gear laid out, ready to go the

night before. If you want to start working out first thing in the morning,

simply having your clothes already laid out makes it a lot easier to just throw

on first thing in the morning before you can even talk yourself out of it. But it

doesn't just stop with clothing; the same could go for your morning breakfast as

well. Having easy things prepared the night before like overnight oats, or a

piece of fruit, or even pre-brewed coffee, makes your morning routine a lot

easier to ease into. But even if you're not a morning workout person, I would

still try laying your clothes out anyway. Sometimes I find that simply having my

workout clothes ready to go is hugely motivating all on its own, because it'll

be staring me down, urging me to squeeze a workout in halfway through the day or

into the evening if it's laid out somewhere visible.

One thing I find absolutely paramount to keeping motivation through the roof is

having a plan. You want to start running? Awesome! How many miles do you want to

hit? How fast do you want to go as a goal? How long do you want to run for, or where

you want to go? Even just having the basics in mind is key to having a

successful workout. The same is true for strength training, or really any other

form of exercise. What muscle groups do you want to hit?

How many sets of what exercises? Write these things down, or keep a log in your

phone so you can build and expand upon these workout stats. Personally, I like to

use Google Sheets, which is basically like a cloud version of Excel. Everyone

with a gmail account has access to it, which could potentially be literally

every single person watching this video right now. It's extremely simple to write

out an exercise routine in chart form, which is then easy to modify from your

phone right at the gym or wherever you plan to be. Seeing yourself progress in a

workout log or in an app is hugely motivating, and you'll wish you'd started

earlier when you see those milestones surpassed.

Another tip is to surround yourself with inspiration. There's nothing worse than

feeling that itch to workout, but having your surroundings bog you down. This can

be anything from having outdated music on your Spotify playlist, or not having a

workout partner, or even having a cluttered house. Little things like these

can grate away at your motivation level, and can start to drain you over time so

try to have these things in check. There are a ton of different workout playlists

on apps like Spotify, so if I'm feeling sick of my regular music, I'll switch it

up by trying a completely different playlist than my own. And sometimes, when

no music sounds right at that moment, I'll listen to a podcast instead. I've

linked a couple of my favorite podcasts in the description bar below if you're

feeling like you just need to spice up your auditory motivation a little bit. If

you're somebody that likes having companionship when you work out for that

extra boost of motivation, maybe try a few classes at your local gym, or meetups

on Facebook. Chances are, you live somewhere where

someone else is looking for a workout partner as well, and this is a great

opportunity to branch out, make new friends, or try something new like a

fitness class. Wait.

And if you're somebody that likes at-home workouts, keeping your space clean

and clutter-free is a huge motivation factor for me. I try -- keyword is "try" -- to

spend 15 minutes a day decluttering my space and I never regret doing so. It

gives me more space to move around, and when your workout is done, you don't feel

brought down by your surroundings afterward. Above all, know that habit

trumps motivation. At the end of the day, motivation and inspiration will only get

your foot in the door, and sometimes not even that. It's up to you to make it a

habit and continue to inch toward your goals. One thing that helps me keep the

habit is setting a schedule and trying as hard as I possibly can to stick to it.

If you're wanting to put on a bit of muscle, plan your week out with what

muscle groups you want to hit on what days, weights you want to start with, the

number of sets and rep ranges, etc. Have this all written down somewhere, and for

one whole week, try to stick to the schedule. Apps like Google Calendar make

this a lot easier, because you could put your specific workout into the calendar

and it will remind you on your phone when it's time to go work out. Another

mind trick I have for keeping the habit is to treat it like a real, true job. I

found the biggest personal gain in my overall fitness and health when I

treated my workouts and eating habits like a second job, and not like some

optional thing. Getting outside and going on a run wasn't an option, it was

something I HAD to do, and like a job, it was a priority in my life. If a friend

called me up and asked me to hang out during the time that I was supposed to

be working out, they would have to wait until I was done. And like a job,

sometimes it's okay to take vacation time or sick days. Truthfully, there are

just some days where getting a workout in isn't an option, because either you're

feeling under the weather, or you're too busy, or you're on vacation, or really

anything else. But like a job, those moments are temporary and fleeting. When

motivation fades, it's up to you to stick with the habit that you've established,

and I always find that treating it like a job really helps

me keep that habit. Making your health and fitness a true priority in your

everyday life will show you monumental gains, not only in a physical sense, but

also in your confidence and overall happiness. Getting a workout in always

kind of sucks when you're just starting, but, oh it feels so good when you're done.

Being inspired and motivated by your surroundings, your goals, and your plans,

is a huge step in beginning your healthy lifestyle. But at the end of the day, it's

up to you and your willpower to turn your motivation into a sustainable habit.

That's the hardest part! But once you break down that wall and just do it, I
