✅ Oslo-byrådet kritiseres før høring om ungdomskriminalitet - Duration: 2:14.
Mandag skal byrådsleder Raymond Johansen (Ap) svare for ungdomskriminaliteten i Oslo
», svarer Johansen. (©NTB)

Little Ones by IBM Bangis - Duration: 8:36.
I once heard a quote like
'in every adult...
there dwells the child that was...
and in every child lies the adult that would be"
__John Connolly.
Every kid is a potential adult with time
and every adult was once a kid.
Parenting, the toughest and most fulfilling jobs in the world
gives parent a room to exert enormous influences over the development of their child.
But in the course of exercising their responsibilities
most adult forget that there were once small before
stupidly childish and mistakenly driven like most kids are today,
you forget that you worked in our shoes and went through the same process we are going through right now.
You establish rules and expect us to follow without exceptions
and in a case where one challenges the rule,
you hear the same old phrase
"because I said so"
not given the reasons behind the rules and no room for negotiation.
Simply because you think you know better
or you've seen better which is quite true
but in-effective are quotes like
"what an adult can see...
a child even standing on a chair will not be able to see"
This is the 21st century, with the advent of information on our finger tips just clicks away
no one is a kid anymore.
see am not trying to tell you how you should groom your kids because I feel it's not my place
different people have different ways of raising children
but all am saying is talk to your little ones
understand them and know what their dreams are
ask them what you can do to help achieve them.
It is very important to be able to communicate effectively with your children
because this will foster a good relationship and build a firm ground for respect and understanding.
You should begin setting the stage for open and effective communication while your children are young
make yourself available when they have questions or just want to talk
listen to their problems, listen to understand them and not listening to find fault in them.
because take it or leave it
your children are your biggest assets
and you have a bigger responsibility than just providing for our basic needs
we need to know at all cases that you at least understand where we are coming from
because am sure there was a time when you had the same thought like us
confused about life and not knowing the next step to take.
For parent who thinks their kids are embarrassment to them just because of their behaviours especially on outings
you compare them to your friend's kids whose behaviours are intact
well do you know how many hours they spent with their children teaching them how to behave when guest are around
I guess you don't cause you don't have time for that
I know a girl who went for a birthday party with her parent
and when asked to speak on stage about the celebrant
couldn't because she was shy and quite but her friend went on stage and killed it
after the party her parent called her names cause she couldn't be like the other girl
The question is did you do the same things the other girl's parent did to get her prepared
I guessed not.
For those whose boys spend the whole evening playing football
they comes back all dirty and sweaty and you shout at them because they shouldn't have been outside in the first place
Well do you know they are people who get paid millions to do the same?
oh wait a minute...
am sure you do
because every day after work all you do is watch sport centres
and admire how amazing those players lives are.
Could it be that you never thought your kid had the potential
or are you so naïve to think those players are born with the skills of football?
I know a boy who is so passionate about a business he had started
but always complains of how unsupportive his parents are
always stressing on the need for him to get a job just because he isn't a millionaire at the moment
If there is one thing history has taught us
is to never despise humble beginnings
What about parent who force their children to major in a particular course in school
just because their neighbour who is practicing that profession just bought a new car and is well to do
Are you forgetting that this is the 21st century and things change so fast
What guarantee can you give that the course you are making him/her study will still be useful tomorrow?
because every single day I read about how companies are sacking people
who when in school studied what was trending
but now technology is rendering them obsolete.
I have a friend that is sick to his stomach because his parent are always emphasizing
on the need for him to get a job and work for someone
but whenever in financial difficulties
they themselves always stresses of how good of a life Bill Gates is living.
What about those parent who constantly cry for EDUCATED KIDS
but they themselves aim for a life the dropout are living?
I know a boy whose parent bought an X-Box 360 for getting "A" in all his papers
but later seized the game because according to them he spends too much time on it
well do you know they are many kids out there who are making millions from doing the same?
that are creating up and coming industries that are related to game.
See, this is the information age
and 50% of the ways used to make money in the former age are long gone
another 50% is been created by the day from industries like games and the internet at large.
Don't get me wrong am not one to mislead
this should not be a reason for kids out there to go against their parent
because 90% of the time our parents are right
and do these things out of love without knowing they are actually limiting us
And for the parents, am not trying to tell you how you should groom your kids
because I feel it's not my place
but this is just a voice of a person who doesn't totally agree with the way his kinds are raised
different people have different ways of doing things
but all am saying is invest time in knowing your children
understand them and know what their dreams are
We know it's not easy for parent when it comes to raising children
especially with outside influences distracting and complicating your efforts
thus making it hard for you to be all that you want to be for your child
But whatever the challenges are
learning as much as you can about your children
will make your journey through the years easier
because your children need people who can connect with them
communicate with them
spend time with them
and show genuine interest in them.
See this is the 21st century and no matter how much you want to, believe it or not
no one is a kid anymore,
with advent of information just clicks away
most kids know more than you think they do.
So talk to your little ones
understand what their dreams are and ask what you can do to help achieve them
Because take it or leave it no one is a kid anymore.
Yours faithful,
"LITTLE ONES"

3 Takeaways From Our Highest-Earning Business Month: $186k, 2.4 Million Words - Duration: 6:36.
I'm here to share three of the biggest reasons
and tips why we recently achieved our highest-earning month in business, ever, this May 2018.
This May 2018 officially made our 7-year business anniversary
Our business grew by 150% inside just one month!
The first lesson from achieving a record month: everything comes together when you have the
pieces.
Let me explain.
So there's this zone, when you're starting out in business, where everything is hard.
It's hustle hustle hustle.
Find the right people, there'll be churn, maybe you outsourced to the wrong people and
lose a few steps...but I can tell you from experience, if you keep coming back from that, you WILL find
all the pieces and put them together eventually.
Running a successful business is a matter of sheer determination and perseverance despite
all the odds.
Thomas Edison said, I have not failed.
I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.
One major piece we were missing was making our clients feel like they were part of a
brand that really knew what they were doing.
I'd published multiple books, had a course out, was known in the industry, built
some of the best industry standards as an agency for finding and training great writers.
But, we still had clients treating us like crap and many that we'd have to chase down to buy.
We completely solved that piece recently. After a lot of thought, and some development,
on the first week of May, we closed our Content Shop down and opened it to invitation
only.
This made a VAST improvement, right away, in the interactions we had with potential new clients
and the sales we were making.
Clients treated us like they had to earn our trust!
It was wonderful.
Not only did sales improve, but the way my staff was treated improved.
We still interact with a few stragglers that like to be keyboard warriors, but overall,
the change in closing down our services and having our staff manually approve new clients
has been hugely positive for us.
The second lesson I'd share from achieving our record month is that when we got strategic
with how we served our customers, our income grew.
#1 we found the right people.
#2 our managers knew what they were doing, they had history with our clients, and they
thought strategically.
So for example, instead of trying to scramble at the last minute to deliver a service, they
figured out strategic ways to track our internal capabilities and deliver content on time, if not early.
Remember, everything is harder at the beginning, at least that was true for me finding my way
as a business owner.
Literally, the first 4-5 years in business I barely knew what I was doing.
It wasn't until the seventh year when things came together. The minute I had a clear picture on the fact that we needed to get strategic with how we
serve our clients, things got better.
If you're a creative, service-based business, or a freelancer, and you don't have a clear strategy
in place for how to get your service to the client,
through every stage of the journey, put one in place.
Buy software. Do what it takes to get organized.
It'll be worth it.
The third lesson from our biggest month in business might surprise you.
If I was to ask you, as a writing agency, what do you think our most important priority
should be, what would you say?
Quality content?
Staffing the best writers? Reaching out to new leads daily?
All of those are important, but I can tell you there's one thing that we see that is absolutely
critical to earning our client's business.
Well, two things really.
Fast and effective communication as well as on-time service.
If we get that wrong in any way, chances are the client won't be back.
We can revise content if it didn't match standards, and we have such high standards
with our writers, we literally hire some of the best.
So we've got that figured out, to an extent.
But what we have to put as a #1 priority every day is fast, effective communication,
and on-time deliverables every time.
