GOOGLE'S Android P Beta 2 has arrived on OnePlus 6 handsets to unlock features like Google

Lens, Face Unlock, Ambient Display and more.

OnePlus 6 owners can now download and install Google's latest Android P Beta 2 to gain new

features on their smartphone for free.

The second generation of the Android P Beta Developer Preview not only brings new features

natively to the smartphone but comes with more extras from the updated OxygenOS.

Phones that are now able to install the Android P Beta 2 include the Google Pixel, Pixel XL,

Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Essential Phone and Sony Xperia XZ2.

The OnePlus 6 now has Google Lens AI camera integrated into the camera app.

This allows you to move the phone around with the camera on, to see real world objects labelled

as Google recognises them.

If something like a book is recognised you're given the option to link to it online for

more information or to buy, for example.

Also enhancing the camera is support for the dual rear cameras, meaning Android will now

take advantage of that extra camera.

Another feature comes in the form of Face Unlock, which has been around since the OnePlus

5T but had issues on the OnePlus 6 that have been overcome.

A much requested feature by OnePlus owners has been added in the form of system colour

accent creation.

This allows OnePlus 6 users to select their own colour type from a colour chart which

will then be used as the subtle theme across the device's operating system.

Ambient Display support was also included in the update for a screen system that should

offer a better display quality.

Also coming in the new update is the ability to hide the top notch on the phone within

Android's native controls.

The full-screen gestures, as introduced on the OnePlus 5T, now work on the OnePlus 6

also thanks to the update.

Audi finally enters the premium mid-size SUV Coupe segment, offering for the first time a genuine rival to the likes of the Mercedes GLE Coupe and BMW X6

Audi will add more powertrains in the future, including a less powerful 45 TDI model with 228hp (231PS) in 2019

with Dewy skin I'm all about dewy skin and I'm obsessed with dewy glow products

I'm going to share with you what I've found what I wear what I use and we're

going to start with budget very low cost products to make you glow and then we'll

go up to high-end products that will out there I'm going to start with my

favorite budget product for dewy skin on mature aged women the NYX born to

glow liquid illuminator so this one here is really inexpensive it'll last a long

time because you only need this tiny a little bit and it's a nice sheen so when

I put it on my skin can you see that it's a nice sheen but we're going to

start with our bodies so what I do is I mix the NYX do you get it with my

homemade glycerin mix now this mix here is so inexpensive to make but it gives

your skin a beautiful dewy lo and it's very moisturizing it's all natural it

takes you two seconds to make and it's so beautiful and I'll leave the recipe

just here so you can make this yourself it's half a teaspoon of glycerin half a

teaspoon of olive oil and three teaspoons of water that's it and then I

mix it with a little bit of rose oil so it smells beautiful when I put it

my skin but you don't need to do that and that's how much you'll get okay so

you can either just spray it on your skin like this and see how it gives you

that beautiful it gives you a sheen I'm so beautiful but what I do is I mix the

NYX with it and then shake and spray into my hand and mix it in and then

you're adding the glow of the NYX into the moisturizing homemade product that

you've got and it just gives you this beautiful sheen so literally this can go

all over your body and that's the most perfect low-cost product and it's long

lasting you won't get any Sparkle it's just a nice sheen this little homemade

gem is really great as well just with bare skin if you're going to the gym or

just doing something sporty because it just lifts your skin and gives it a

little bit of life and yeah perfect for the gym perfect for anything perfect to

mix staying with the body the next product I'm going to show you is my Mac

strobe cream which I'm in love with you just put this amount on and then you mix

it with a moisturizer my pure Fiji which I love and this is going to give you a

beautiful glow as well it's similar to the one I just showed you but a little

bit more high-impact and if you'd like to see my skin blurring recipe that I

have using this strobe cream and it blurs out all of my sun damage of my

arms and my legs so I'll leave a link up here for you to have a look at but that

is the perfect recipe for anyone who's got sun damage on their skin also with a

max strobe cream what else I would do is just put a little bit on these bones

here that stick out because it's going to highlight them and it doesn't need to

be mixed it just gives another layer so you can mix this with your moisturizer

and go all over then just go over the high points

without mixing it so you're layering glue on top of glue on top of glue now I

want to introduce you to my love it's called too-faced hangover three-in-one

so this product here is a it's a face setting spray and it's luminous but definitely

not sparkly it's just dewy it's it makes anything you put this on dewy

so you mix it with everything and you get like a 3d effect with all of your

products and I'm going to show you how I do that on my face but what you can do

also is give this a spray on top of everything else you've just done and

wait a little bit I didn't wait and wait a little bit and just Pat it in so this

is a setting spray this will set what you've just done set the steps before

you don't need this but this product here has so many uses that you will be

very sad if you don't have it so you've got to get this it's just giving my skin

that next level of glow no sparkle no crazy teenage glitter it's just natural

looking Jewish skin okay I'm gonna move up to my face now and show you all the

different layers that I use to get my jewelry looking skin and we could start

with this little special blend that we made before so I could spray this on my

face pre foundation and because it's got the glycerol in it it kind of makes it

feel very smooth like a primer so if you're not using a primer you can use

this under your foundation when you're layering products like this on top of

each other just wait it's like when you put your first layer of nail polish on

you wait let it dry then you put your next and wait and let it dry and then

your next do that with these and speaking of under foundation

this is my favorite primer it's called Becca first light priming filter it's

purple but it goes onto your skin just like this beautiful dewy no sparkles

whatsoever and it's just a radiant look it's so beautiful so I put this

underneath my foundation my skin already looks luminous I let it dry a little bit

put my foundation on top finish my makeup off and then I go along and

highlight all the bits that I want to stand out what we're doing when we're

highlighting areas of our faith is that we're bringing light to it so it makes

it stand out so if you'd like this part of your face to stand out you add light

to it and when the natural light or the sunlight hits it it pops so that's the

reason behind it and we can do this to any area of our body or our face that we

want to show and it gives that beautiful youthful luminous glow I'm going to show

you three great highlighters for the cheeks the first one is the Maybelline

master chrome so this one's inexpensive it will last you a long time and you can

mix it with other things this has got a beautiful perfect colored pigment to it

so when you put it on the high points it's just blends into your skin and it

looks very natural and very goddess II it's high glow with low sparkle which is

exactly what you want and the price point you can't beat it you can put it a

little bit here just dab it in and you'll get this beautiful glow just at

the high point of your cheek another one that's super amazing is the Becca opal

so this has also got the perfect consistency it's subtle but for long so

the way I use my opal is mixing it with my magic spray my hangover three and one

so I'll take this and shake it and put a little bit on a pallet you can use

anything you don't one of these okay and then I get a

Beautyblender which is damp and I'll dab it in so you absorb the moisture of the

hangover and then dab it into your Becca opal and then you put it on the

highpoint see how beautiful that is and this mixed with this it's more dewy and

more natural looking rather than just a powder so if you put it on as a powder

you kind of be able to see it if someone was in the sunlight with you but when

you mix it these two products and put the Beauty Blender on it kind of

disappears and you can't really tell that you've got something on just that

you glow like crazy so yeah I'm loving that and I also do the same with this

one I think is the winner for the powders for me because it's got the most

intense shine and it's just the most beautiful glow I dropped this and I

fixed it and I made a video how I fix it so I'll leave the link up here on this

video but anyway this is amazing and beautiful so I'd get the spray dab in my

Beauty Blender to wet it then dab on here so I've got both of my cheeks done

but I'm going to show you another area which is where the light would fall on

your face naturally so you can put it just to both your eyebrows and going up

here and just dab it in and you get this beautiful high intensity glow it's so

amazing and because this has such a mega glow you can also add a little dab here

just on the parts where the Sun would hit first and you can just amplify that

glow by about 100 so I could also spray that love this spray

padded in and yeah oh so good okay I've got to show you the Marc Jacobs this is

the most expensive out of everything and if you're going to try this I think

you're going to love it everything else is beautiful and fun to use this is just

like if you want to go hard you can buy this and just as a quick comparison with

my very inexpensive necks I'll show you I look very similar and that's the

difference it's going to make so you don't need to go high-end at all but

definitely the Marc Jacobs has got more Sheen and more depth to it but this is

amazing this is amazing for 10 bucks or if you're in America it's probably four

dollars I don't know but everything in America is a lot cheaper than it is in

Australia so with my Marc Jacobs I do the same thing I spray the two-faced

hangover dab my Beauty Blender and then put a tiny little bit of this one not

that I'd put it here but I'm just showing you the finish it's so natural

and so beautiful and just so easy to wear so the Marc Jacobs plus a

moisturizer would look amazing over your whole body it would you could layer it

so you can layer all your products on top of each other and to give you a 3d

effect which is what the makeup artists do with their colors of eyeshadows and

under eye and then they layer different tones of colors on the cheek so yeah you

could have fun with this this is so much fun mixing mixing mixing so there are my

favorites that I've just shown you they're the ones that I've tried an

experiment and we're that aren't too young looking they're just beautiful

dewy natural glowy and you can lay them you don't have to lay them you can make

your own if you wore the two of these combined out at night with a beautiful

dress on and your shoulders showing you will stop the room so you don't have to

spend a lot of money it's just the tiny small things that we can do to up

our game and to make ourselves feel great and hopefully look great but it

doesn't matter it's what we feel inside we've had fun getting ready anyway so

get creative mix up some different products enjoy being a woman and just

Mom and boyfriend tortured and murdered 8-year-old son – thought he was gay

In many parts of the world, much progress has been made when it comes to justice and

equality.

Unfortunately, this is still not the case everywhere, and children, among others, continue

to suffer amidst abusive circumstances.

Little is as painful to watch as when a child is persecuted, hurt or otherwise abused.

The tragic and sad story of 8-year-old boy Gabriel Fernandez clearly shows us why we

should never let hatred win.

On May 22, 2013, an emergency center received an urgent call.

A woman's voice at the other end required immediate help — her 8-year-old son, Gabriel

Fernandez, had stopped breathing.

When paramedics arrived on site, they discovered a small lifeless, blue-eyed boy on the floor.

He was naked, had fractures in his head and three broken ribs.

The boy had also been shot and several of his teeth were missing.

Gabriel was immediately rushed to hospital, but died two days later.

"There were abrasions.

There were open wounds.

There was bruising.

There was swelling.

There was marks on the legs.

There was skin missing off the top of the neck, so there were multiple injuries on Gabriel…head

to toe," nurse Alison Segal, among the staff who treated Gabriel, told ABC7.

At first, nobody understood what had happened to the boy — but it soon became apparent

that this was the culmination of a very tragic story.

And worst of all — it all could, and should, have been avoided.

Between 2003 and 2012, no less than 60 reports were filed against Gabriel's mother and

her boyfriend, Isauro Aguirre.

Many had testified about how the couple mistreated and tortured little Gabriel.

For instance, several of Gabriel's teachers had previously contacted authorities.

The reason?

Gabriel often came to school with black eyes, injured hands, scars on his body and cracked

lips.

But the authorities and the police never fully followed through and got to the bottom of

it.

After repeated reports, the police did eventually visit the family, but when an officer spoke

to Gabriel's mother, she claimed that her son had moved to Texas to live with his grandmother.

All accusations led to no arrests, despite overwhelming evidence and reports that Gabriel

was being abused.

Following Gabriel's death, four social workers were fired for not properly executing their

job.

The police also received massive criticism.

"The red flags were all over the place.

They were ignored.

It is just inexplicable to me," said Los Angeles county Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky.

Soon after Gabriel's death, both his mother, Pearl Fernandez, 34, and her boyfriend Isauro

Aguirre, 37, were arrested.

Many witnesses stepped forward for the trial, and members of the jury could be seen breaking

down and crying.

The torture that Gabriel suffered for a long time was unimaginable.

"Punished because he was gay" Gabriel's older sister explained, among

other things, that her mother and, above all, her boyfriend were constantly punishing Gabriel

because they thought that he was gay.

That Gabriel might be gay served as a source of ridicule and abuse by the boyfriend and

mother.

Together, they forced Gabriel to play with dolls and forced him to dress up in girl clothes

at school.

"This wasn't about drugs.

This wasn't about mental health issues," Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney

Jonathan Hatami said.

Gabriel was abused "because [Aguirre] didn't like him … he believed Gabriel was gay and

to him, that was a bad thing … he did it out of hatred of a little boy."

Gabriel's 16-year-old brother, Ezequiel, described the abuse in scary detail, which

mainly seemed to come from Aguirre.

According to Ezequiel's testimony, Gabriel was hit daily and was forced to eat old cat

food.

Ezequiel also told the jury that his brother was often bound and locked in a cabinet without

food or water for hours.

The couple laughed while the torture was happening, Ezequiel said.

Gabriel's first-year teacher, Jennifer Garcia, cried in court.

She says she thinks about Gabriel every day and how he just wanted to be loved.

I find comfort in believing he is now at peace," she said, adding: "And I know that unlike

him, his abusers will never have peace.

They will have a lifetime of suffering to endure, and I know I'm not alone in hoping

they experience the same abuse in their lifetime and worse."

Mother Pearl Fernandez spoke briefly, saying she was sorry and wished Gabriel was alive

writes 9 News.

She also criticized family members who'd spoken of their grief over Gabriel's death,

accusing them of seeking fame.

After a long and tedious trial, followed by people all over the country, the verdict finally

came this week.

The judge sentenced the mother to life imprisonment and boyfriend Isauro Aguirre received the

death penalty for Gabriel's beyond animalistic murder.

The punishment has brought a degree of consolation to the rest of Gabriel's family, who had

been struggling for justice.

Relatives of Gabriel have long run a Facebook page and openly spoken about the boy's terrible

fate to bring attention to all horror that led to Gabriel's death.

They also want to be a voice for Gabriel and show who he really was — before misery and

torture took over his life.

Gabriel was a happy, lively and incredibly loving little boy!

Even if nothing will bring their Gabriel back, the boy's story has had a huge impact on

people everywhere and we can all hopefully prevent anything like

this from ever happening again.

a Mentor in Portugal, involved with worldwide social issues...

What is that you can share with us

alongside your career and life journeys,

and in terms of leadership skills

what is that

has worked well for you to achieve

this hight in your career growth?

I would say that Fernanda, in first place

every and each book can be helpful to us,

with its theories and suggested insights, but

the best tool for me, which has brought me results,

is the life in itself!

And what I want to say on that? Life doesn't happen by itself...

You have to be in charge of it; make it happen!

As a little background, I have 41 years-old and

my journey is extensive already, but

I still have a long way to go.

I have dedicated myself to many fields in life,

in terms of professional occupations, so

now I can tell you I am fortunate and happy where I am in my career.

As you have this saying in Brazil "happy with the ocean view"!

Right! And more specifically, from 2011 on to

now, in 2018, I have focused much

more in my academic

career.

It is a matter of having a clear vision (as one skill I bring here): as

there is always a moment in life,

probably on your teen years,

probably on your college years,

when you get your first degree, that we

do not know yet if this is the right path or not, but we just keep moving...

and I believe it was from 2013 (upon some personal and career occurrences)

that I truly decided it was my career field of exploration

and from there on, I focused on my

vision of where I wanted to go?

And better yet,

how can I get there, really?

And then comes the 2nd skill which is totally related to the first one:

determination!

And I remember,

for instance, in my case,

I was undergoing jobs that I wasn't much into it

(I am not going to mentioned because there were quite a few), but

al all times I keep my clear vision - there it goes! And following it:

determination!

Meanwhile, I am making ends meet,

and I am also

achieving my graduation (academic path),

so that in the future I can be of better use, honestly speaking. On that,

I was for more than 3 to 4 times student-worker as a profession, which means

I got my Masters Degree in International Relations,

I also got my Master in Business Administration (MBA), and a Marketing graduation, all of which

part-time, as my academic life was in the evening/night time.

It all made sense, I also got a post-degree in England on

Globalization and its impacts on the Portuguese society; and right now

I am finishing up my post-doctoral degree (Ph.D.)

in management, which theme

is very current in the marketplace:

sharing economy!

So that is it: clear vision + determination!

And alongside with all of that, today

(almost 2 years now) I work as a Mentor

on social impact projects

in the first School of Social Entrepreneurship in Portugal,

and one of the first Schools in the world, which is named:

IES - Social Business School

And to sum up, and tell you how I am happy doing what I am doing it all that I do in my life

(and I make a parallel with my career path): is to be

be able to help others!

It is to be able to support others! And I

always was the balanced-type of guy in my family (always being available to help and support others).

And this is to tell you that

our personal attributes will -eventually -

direct us to our professional path.

can still improve

It is clear to me! And it is all connected with what I just said in here...

Keep doing what I am doing!

I already have a good career image

(that I have already shared with you):

I feel like I am hiking a tall mountain,

such as the Suisse Alpes, or

Everest Mountain, but I am not there yet...

I am still young,

but I have acquired many important tools

that I have gained since the beginning (the foundation of my career years),

until

where I am right now.

So, it is clear to me that I must keep going and doing what I am doing:

to be humble, to know exactly what I truly want (vision).

My vision is to get to the top of the mountain,

whenever it may happen (it even can happen when I am 90 years-old)

and I can look backwards and acknowledge it was with while!

And to get to this point, there are many

important tools in life, and one of them

that I feel it is crucial is: I am

hiking this mountain, but I am not going alone.

It is fundamental to create and nourish relationships.

It is crucial to stay open to receive new people into your life

(those who can add value to your journey)

and stay connected with your project,

and stay aligned with

the concept of reciprocity. Nothing happens in life without it!

If you are open to receive someone in your life,

ponder what is that you - on your part - can contribute to them as well,

but as genuine as it can be.

This is synergy. You are open to receive,

but you too have to be of value to someone's else.

This is human nature; this is the Universe energies upon us!

Give it - and receive it, genuinely! I would say that, and

Fernanda, to finish up our talk today:

knowledge takes no place!

And this knowledge means: book's knowledge,

general culture, genuine networking

that brings value to our journey, etc, etc, etc...

Knowledge = to be open to! Because

"stop is to die". In other words, if you close the curtain,

then you do not progress at all. So this

is a powerful tool: knowledge of several things.

Excellent! And there you go: it is giving that you get it back,

but in a genuine way. Sharing is caring!
