Interior of this car looks like a Chanel bag. Nice, but can a Chanel bag do this?

A few months ago I drove the Range Rover Sport and I said it has the grace of a barn. I stand by my opinions, but compared to RR Sport, G Class is a solid building.

Even a relatively big engine – 4 litres V8, 422 HP – won't make a speed king out of G Class.

Still, it goes from 0 to 100 kms/h in less than six seconds, but that's not why you buy it.

So why buy this emerald-colored box? If your mansion is somewhere in the middle of nowhere, G class will take you there without aby problems.

We test drove it on sand and mud and it managed perfectly.

What works here? Three differential blocks. Central block divides the torque between front and back axle. Rear block divides the torque evenly between right and left wheel, same as the front block does with front wheels.

All the wheels can turn with the same speed and if at least one of them has traction, the car moves forward.

That's not to say the car is unpleasant to drive. It's anything but.

It may look exactly the same as the old G Class, but has all the newest tech I know from other Mercedes models, including voice commands I liked so much in Mercedes-Benz A Class.

There's no „Hey, Mercedes", though – it's probably not serious enough for this car.

When you climb inside, there's a lot of space. There're door bins, armrest compartment, big cup holders.

Getting to know the infotainment system takes some time, but the system works seamlessly and using it is not a problem.

The GPS is quite accurate and has real time traffic info. However, if you don't feel like learning new things, you can use Android Auto or Apple Car Play.

I must add that using Android Auto without a touch screen wasn't as good as it could be.

It took me a while to find a correct driving position – but that happens all the time in bigger cars. When sitting here, nothing's blocking my sight, because A pillars are small compared to other cars.

Indicators on the front show where the car ends – and there's quite a lot of it, as the total length is 481 cm.

In a car this size cameras are really important. Sure, I can already picture those people who are commenting with „real driver feels the car and doesn't need any of those distractions".

Sure thing, bro. I hope you like using your dial phone.

To the point: this exact car has a 360 camera and parking assistant. If you don't feel like parking yourself, leave it to the car. But it will ignore narrow parking spots.

Also, remember that the boot opens to the side not upwards. If you're going shopping, park with access to the back of the car. The boot is 454 litres, which isn't the biggest one in class, but in my opinion, it's not insufficient.

I have already shown you what G Class can do off road and I mentioned it's not too fast.

However, it's very comfortable when driving in the city. Small bumps on the road vanish as the suspension reacts to them. Also, curbs are not a problem.

But the fuel consumption... Mercedes says it's 12 litres / 100 kms. I got more like 22.

Also, it hugs!

It's called active bolsters and it's soooo pleasant!

Oh my!

I feel like taking turns just to feel it hug me.

Unbelievable.

I know I know, that's not why you buy this car, but nevermind. Ooooh!

G Class is a part of automotive history. New version is really impressive off road, is extremely fun to drive, and new tech makes it comparable to any other new luxury car.

There's still a lot to get used to, like getting in and out, especially if you're me. You must also remember it's a big and heavy car with humongous fuel consumption, but I get why people love it. I'd love it, too.

How I save money on organic meat - Duration: 4:14.

alright we're gonna talk a little bit about how I save money on organic meat

now over the years I've heard multiple medical professionals talk about the importance

of buying organic meat in organic dairy but I've always struggled with this

because it's always been so stinkin expensive so I've always been kind of

keeping my eye out looking for ways to kind of save money on organic meat and

really I've just wanted to get the healthiest meat possible for my family

without spending tons of tons of money so that leads me to the thing that has

worked the best for me so far so about a year and a half ago I signed up for this

service called Butcherbox and what they do is it's a monthly box that comes to

your door full of meat that you order you get to pick it out yourself and they

offer a variety of cuts from free-range organic chicken to a whole bunch of

different cuts of grass-fed beef to some heritage breed pork which I don't even

know what that is because I don't eat pork, but and they also have wild

Alaskan salmon so I've just been in love with the options that they provide and

then on top of that the convenience of heaven is delivered to my house once a

month has been really really great now I'm someone who loves to shop at Whole

Foods but as we all know hopefully this is crazy expensive so I try to limit the

amount of times I go to Whole Foods but what's exciting is that a lot of the

meat that I get from Butcherbox is actually a higher quality and better

than a lot of the meat at the counter over at Whole Foods so if you've shopped

it to Whole Foods meat counter before you know that they have five different

levels of meat basically quality that they offer and so the lowest level is

basically a little bit better than your average grocery store and the highest

level is basically where the cow is like a pet and it has a name and it's

massaged every day and that kind of free-rangeness if you will you know I

know this differs from location and location but at our Whole Foods most of

the meat at the meat counter falls in that lowest category one level and at

the same time most of the meat that I get from Butcherbox falls into the

category probably about three level so if the meat being higher quality wasn't

good enough the meat is actually considerably cheaper than if I were

buying at Whole Foods even the lower quality all right so before I signed up

for Butcherbox one of the things I was concerned about it how are they gonna

get frozen meat to my doorstep especially in the summer and keep it

frozen and so I'm now in my second summer with them and I've just been so

impressed that they've been able to do this successfully and basically what I

understand is that they just measure out the appropriate amount of

dry ice for each box depending on your geographic location and then it's just

stays frozen and we even had one instance where we weren't able to pick

up our box off of a porch for up to like 24 hours after it arrived and the meat

was still super cold yeah another thing I was kind of concerned about when I

first started with them was what type of meat am I going to get and how much

choice do I have and initially when I started they only

had curated boxes meaning they'd send a box with whatever meat they wanted to

put in it and hope you liked it but they've since rolled out a custom box

which allows you and I to select whatever cuts we want and then have them

shipped to us and then we can add on additional things if we want and it just

gives you tons and tons of flexibility to pick out whatever meat you actually

want whatever you're actually going to eat and so the way my family does this

is we just use this one monthly box as our month-long supply of meat that we

get so not only does it save us a trip to the grocery store it's also something

I just want to think about anymore because we just always have meat in the

The Turkeys Got Out Again! - Duration: 5:45.

Hello, I'm Liz Zorab and this is Byther Farm.

We've been sorting out a turkey problem today.

The turkeys have been getting out of this netted

area and at night trying to roost up on

top of the shed, which itself wouldn't be

a problem but it's not predator proof.

So today home Mr. J and I have taken

off some of this green netting, at the

far end of here, and we've put on

some metal grid panels, put the green

netting back over the top of it.

Hello darling! You've got a lot to say! And then over

in that direction we've put up some

additional chicken netting that's flexible

netting, but we've actually put it above

the chicken wire that's already there

just to discourage the turkeys from

jumping over. Now we've consciously

decided not to do anything permanent

because the turkeys will be with us for

about another three months and then we

don't know what we're going to do with

this area. We've been thinking about it,

we've been discussing it, but we haven't

come to any fim decisions yet.

All of it is temporary, nothing is

fixed in permanently, all of these are

just screwed together and the posts are

just banged into the ground, they're not

concreted in. There's one post that's

concreted in the center, but it's only

with a very small amount of concrete so

we could actually take that out too if we wanted to.

Thank you Whitey! So everything is just

fixed in on a very temporary basis, it's

enough to guide them not to be wandering

over the food forest and the annual

vegetable garden. To be honest if they

really wanted to, if they weren't getting

enough food and enough water here, they

could very easily just jump over or fly

over the 3-foot high netting that we've

got around and wander off and do whatever they want to.

And luckily they

don't do that except for that one turkey.

So at the top of this run we have put

this 2x2 inch fairly heavy gauge metal

gridding, in the hope that this will

deter the boy from jumping out at the

top.

And the rather bodge job of green

flexible netting along the top of

the chicken wire, hopefully, will

discourage them from jumping over that

way. At the moment it's only the largest

turkey, the black one, who is trying to

sleep on the roof of the shed, but we

want to reduce the number of nights

we're up on ladders trying to get it

back off the roof. And so hopefully this

will do it, if not, there's a couple more

places that we can pop panels in the

hope that. that if that's where he's

getting up,

we can do that and I guess the other

thing is I'm just going to come out here

towards bedtime and watch and see where

it is that he's trying to get out.

inside to have a cup of tea and find

How-To Hack GoPro HERO 2018 into 4K HERO5 Black! - Duration: 6:27.

hey guys I'm Ben from AuthenTech, and in

this video I'm gonna show you step by

step how to convert your old GoPro Hero

2018 model to become a GoPro Hero 5

Black Edition now super interesting I

guess GoPro use the same hardware from

the hero 5 edition into this hero 2018

model but they simply lock down all the

cool features with just a firmware well

some smart people out there figured this

out modded a couple little firmware

files and with just a couple clicks you

can easily convert yours as well I'm

gonna show you how to do it today the

hero 2018 was pretty weak as it's super

limited with features and shooting specs

it maxed out at 1080p 60fps for only 16

by 9 ratio but with this little hack we

can now get 4k 30fps and GPS works as

well and some other sweet features I'll

even show you some sample footage of the

new 4k footage and just in case if you

need a downgrade back to the original

hero 2018 model that's possible as well

now let's jump right in

step one you're gonna need to download a

couple files they're basically the

upgrade firmware package step 1 we take

our microSD card put it into our

computer and transfer over those key

firmware files

coppy you know we're doing it for the

first time untitled taste the key to

remember at the root directory you must

have the update folder and then all your

firmware files inside there

ok let's eject it there we go just

remember a battery must be at least 50%

unplug it just so you know there's no

tomfoolery going on here this is the

GoPro 2018 hero 1080p 60 where I show

you literally can only do 1440 or 1080p

at 60 max mighty lame about this GoPro

named GP serial number version 1.0 this

is it let's see if it bricks hit now

step two once those are copied over

remove the SD card from your computer

and insert it into the GoPro Hero 2018

right away mine started to update and

even though the back screen went blank

you can still watch the status on the

front LCD screen now I had huge

hesitations this actually worked so I

kept the camera rolling the whole time

just so you know there's no funny

business going on and then after about

five and a half minutes it finally

finished now for some weird reason my

back screen was still blank but then I

ended up ejecting the micro SD card

rebooting and then it showed up some

people out there also suggested to a

factory reset on the GoPro that helps as

well and would you look at that it

actually surprisingly works with that

simple little hack we now have 4k 30 FPS

or 2.7 K at 60fps with image

stabilization just one more example for

any doubters out there here's the serial

number on the hero 2018 box we go into

settings matching serial number nine six

seven this is the standard hero running

the hero 5 for K 30 firmware what's up

guys this is test footage from that

GoPro Hero 28 T model running that

firmware as if

it's a hero five black we're rolling at

4k 30fps can't believe this is actually

working let's go get some sample shots

now right now we're recording at 4k

30fps it doesn't look like we can turn

on the image stabilization but let's

switch over to 2.7 K where we can turn

on the EIS now this is 2.7 K at 60 fps

with E is turned on how's the image

stabilization at comparison

we can even record 240 frames person at

720p or here's 120 frames per second at

1080p we can shoot with a wider field of

view on this one

yet we even have a GPS turned on this is

1440p at 80 frames per second it's

another frame rate and resolution that

wasn't available before on this hero

model now even though this little trick

is very cool you got to remember a

couple things there are still

limitations for example image

stabilization doesn't work at that 4k

and if you want to see my side-by-side

comparison video of how the hero 5

stacks up against the hero 6 black well

ma'am the hero 6 just blows the 5 out of

the water so if you want to shoot pro

footage well you got a fork over a few

extra dollars for that hero 6 edition or

wait for the new GoPros to release soon

or if you already have a hero 2018 or

maybe you could find one super cheap on

Amazon eBay or Craigslist well this

little mod might be a good fix for you

funny enough that old hero 5 that this

one's trying to imitate well it's been

price dropping lately you can find it on

Amazon for about $250 and that's just 50

bucks more than this hero 2018 model

also remember I am NOT responsible for

Korea's southern waters staying hot for nearly two weeks longer than 30 years ago: KIOST - Duration: 2:00.

While experiencing one of the hottest summers on record, we're not alarmed that sea temperatures

have been staying warmer for much longer.

But according to one research, the nation's southern waters have remained warm for nearly

two weeks longer in recent years,... compared to some 3 decades ago.

Oh Soo-young takes a closer look into this phenomenon.

South Korea's southern waters have been growing hotter during the summer over the last three

decades.

That's according to a research team at the Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology,...

which found that the number of days from July to September,... of high sea surface temperatures

in Korea's South Sea increased by three-point-five days,... every ten years.

This correlates with the general rise in the world's atmospheric temperature-- hovering

around nought-point-four to nought-point-five degrees Celsius above the long-term annual

average this year.

"Early in July, we had a low temperature but in the middle of the month, the atmospheric

heatwave started.

So, after that the ocean began to warm and became even hotter than 30 degrees.

So it was an extremely hot temperature compared to the average year."

Based on data from 1982 to 2017,... the research team believes the longer period of warm sea

temperatures is mainly due to the impact of climate change,... and also the inflow of

waters from the northwest Pacific.

It noted how sea surface levels in the southern waters weren't as high as expected in 1994,...

when Korea experienced one of its hottest summers on record.

Meanwhile, in 2001, sea temperatures peaked when the northwest Pacific Ocean was relatively

warmer,... despite weaker atmospheric pressure.

The research team says Korea's seas are likely to see even more days of hot surface temperatures

each year, largely due to the greenhouse effect,... but more research is needed to determine and

limit the potential damage of the rising sea temperatures.

Team Korea will face the winner of the other semifinal between Japan and China in the final

on Saturday.

Over in kayak event, South Korean kayak star Lee Sun-ja won a bronze medal in the women's

500-meter singles tournament on Thursday.

Lee Sun-ja is Korea's strongest kayaker with 12 consecutive wins in the national sports

tournament between 2002 and 2011.

In athletics, Joo Hyun-myeong won bronze in the men's 50km walk event.

The South Korean finished in 4-hours-10 minutes-21 seconds, overtaking his Japanese rival with

just 5 kilometers to go to finish third.

It's the second games in a row that South Korea has won a medal in this event.

There are still more events lined up later on Thursday with the women's 10-meter platform

diving at 9:15PM and men's 1500-meter final at 9:35PM.

U.S. to allow 'targeted relief' from steel, aluminum quotas - Duration: 2:05.

When Washington announced plans to slap tariffs and quotas on steel and aluminium imports,

Seoul quickly took steps, and became the first nation to be granted a level of exemption

from tariffs And now, even some of those quotas are lifted

for Korea.

Kim Hyesung delves deeper to find out what this development suggest about Trump's protectionist

measures.

President Trump has signed proclamations allowing targeted relief from steel quotas for some

countries, including South Korea.

The U.S. Commerce Department said Wednesday, local time, that President Trump, who in March

put in place tariffs of 25 percent on steel and 10 percent on aluminum, signed proclamations

permitting relief from the quotas on steel for Korea and Brazil, and on both steel and

aluminum for Argentina.

The statement added that companies can apply for exclusions for products when there is

insufficient quantity or quality available from American producers,... and that if an

exclusion is granted then no tariff would be owed.

Korean steelmakers, represented by the vice chairman of the Korea Iron & Steel Asssociation,

Lee Min-cheol, welcomed the news, saying this means Korea, the third-largest steel exporter

to the U.S., can ship more than the quota Seoul and Washington had agreed upon.

In March, Korea was given a quota of about 2-point-6-8 million tons of steel, or 70 percent

of the annual average it shipped to the U.S. between 2015 and 2017, in exchange for an

exemption on steel tariffs.

The quota took effect in May.

"The Trump Administration likely made this move because U.S. steelmakers are slowly feeling

the pain of rising steel import costs.

So it's granted this 'targeted relief' to some of its allies... on steel products that

America cannot produce or otherwise really needs."

The announcement from the U.S. Commerce Deparment follows prolonged negotiations between Korean

government officials and local steelmakers and their U.S. counterparts about allowing

exemptions for some Korean steel products.

Which specific products, though, still has to be negotiated.

Gov't laid out detailed plans to boost jobs, innovative growth - Duration: 2:30.

Staying with job creation efforts.

The Moon administration drew up a seven-point plan to further strengthen cooperation among

central and provincial governments.

They are designed with the aim of boosting economic growth and employment opportunities.

For details let's turn to our Kim Ji-yeon.

Under the government's seven-point plan for balanced, innovative growth led by regional

development ... it wants to raise the competitiveness of traditionally vital industries that are

facing challenges.

This is to be reflected in the country's five-year developmental plan for balanced growth...

and will be announced by the end of this year...

including a yearly evaluation of existing innovation-related state projects.

The government also says it'll promote inter-Korean business cooperation within the bounds of

international sanctions placed on North Korea ...by setting up special economic zones for

job creation.

It looks to strengthen its initiative to develop broad inter-Korean economic belts, called

the "New Economic Map" to jointly develop the areas of energy and resources,... industrial,

logistics and transportation as well as environment and tourism.

To improve the quality of life in the nation through various infrastructure projects...

the government has increased next year's budget to around 7-point-9-billion U.S. dollars...

a near 3-billion dollar increase from this year.

Such projects are aimed at promoting culture and physical health, local tourism, urban

regeneration, and smart farms... and lowering levels of fine dust.

The government also vowed to carry out a series of measures including six-billion dollars

of support for small business owners and the self-employed... who are struggling to adjust

to the sharp spikes in the minimum wage.

Another goal is to revitalize farming and fishing villages suffering from a rapidly

aging society by improving the residents' livelihoods as well as improving distribution

channels for local organic foods.

The sixth point in the government's seven point plan is to promote the "social economy"

sector by creating social value through economic activities based on communities and voluntary

institutions... mostly made up of cooperatives, non-profit associations and foundations...

through state funding.

The final point in the government's plan is to increase consultative projects by facilitating

communication channels among employers and employees to boost the number of quality jobs.

Supreme Court considers cases of conscientious objectors - Duration: 1:40.

Is religious belief an acceptable reason for one to be exempt from mandatory military service.

The nation's supreme court held a hearing in three related cases... in which the defendants

and the prosecution publically made their case.

Choi Si-young help us listen to both sides of the argument.

Ahead of its ruling, Korea's Supreme Court heard arguments Thursday in the cases of three

conscientious objectors indicted for refusing to serve in the military on the grounds of

their religious beliefs.

In 2004, the court ruled that religious beliefs are not a "justifiable reason" under the Military

Service Act.

But since then, lower court decisions have all run counter to that judgment.

And in June, the Constitutional Court mandated that the National Assembly amend the law to

offer alternative service to those objectors.

The hearing Thursday focused again on whether religious beliefs are a "justifiable reason"

for not serving.

The defense argued that the decision not to enlist is based on an "earnest deliberation"

of one's religious convictions,... and that they are not calling for an exemption from

civic duty but merely asking that their freedom of conscience be recognized as guaranteed

under the constitution.

The prosecutors stressed that a "justifiable reason" under the law includes only diseases

and natural disasters that can be objectively assessed as impediments to military service.

They argued that religious beliefs are personal... and that it's impossible to objectively examine

the existence of religious beliefs because of the possibility of deception by non-believers.

With the hearing now over, the Supreme Court will deliberate and issue a ruling.

All eyes are on whether the court will upend the 2004 decision and find religious beliefs

an acceptable reason for refusing to report for active military duty.
