I'm late. It's true. I know. I know.
But as usual I had some problems here and there and above all I wanted to be 100% sure that everything works before making a dedicated video.
VeeR Experience. I had already talked about it in a past videos, in that about VeeR Editor maybe, I did a mini presentation.
But months have passed, new features have come out, it has left the beta and it's available to everyone
and in the last week a very interesting feature came out that changes a lot the way to create this
VeeR Experience and then I decided, finally to make a video.
For those who hear about it for the first time, VeeR Experience is a tool for creating interactive virtual tours.
I had already talked about them with iStaging that has this tool developed very well, they're much further, but VeeR Experience is free.
The entire VeeR platform is free and as a result VeeR Experience is also completely free.
So everyone, without paying anything, can create interactive virtual tours and vent their imagination
and this allows VeeR to have many more creators, many more feedbacks and therefore better develop their product.
But I do not want to go too far. Virtual Tours. We all know what it means, right?
360° photos connected to each other that allow us to move in an environment. But VeeR Experience is different.
There are basically two concepts to keep in mind: Scene and Trigger.
The scenes are basically the photos, but on VeeR Experience you can also upload the videos as scenes.
So instead of going from one photo to another, you can switch from one video to another with triggers and other elements that I will talk about in a few.
However, it is possible to make a video virtual tour or a mixed video and photo virtual tour. And it's a very interesting thing.
The other concept is the trigger. The triggers are the elements that allow you to create the interactivity of the tour itself.
Each trigger is customizable and has its own function. At least for now there are 3 types.
Hotspots, which are the triggers used to switch between one scene and another. The icon is customizable and,
in addition to the default ones, you can upload your own icon, your own image to use instead of the default one.
And this is the feature that convinced me to make the video because it is a feature that we have been waiting for a long time.
First there were only the default icons, but for the creation of the VeeR Experience they were quite limiting
because if someone wants to put something special, he must be able to customize it.
And those of VeeR understood it.
And so now there are no boundaries in the customization of the tour.
And plus, you can write something, give a title to the hotspot and decide whether to show the writing or not.
Unfortunately, at least for now it is not possible to change the font, color, size and position of the title
because it will always be white and under the hotspot icon.
The other trigger is the sound. At least for now it is not possible to change the icon
but you can upload any .mp3 or .wav file, decide the title and whether to show it or not.
And then, regarding the sound, there is a very interesting element, which is "Spatialize this audio".
By checking this item, the audio will come from the trigger and will be directional. In the sense that if the trigger,
while watching the Experience, you have it on the right, the sound will come from this direction.
Instead if you turn the other way and the trigger is in this direction, you will hear it on the left.
This is great.
Obviously to hear this effect you need a surround system or headphones that have a 5.1 / 7.1.
Alternatively, you can uncheck "Spatialize this audio" and the sound will be uniform.
In addition to this, it is possible to start the audio automatically when the scene is opened and to enable or disable the loop.
The last, but not least, trigger is the Card. And it is the trigger that allows you to direct the user to any link.
It consists of two parts: the icon and the content. The icon is customizable in image, title
and then there is the possibility to choose whether to show the content in fullscreen or as an annotation.
Personally I love the annotation because it's a window that appears next to the trigger, it's small, it's elegant
and allows you to navigate the tour even with the same annotation opened and, while you are looking around,
the annotation moves giving a sense of three-dimensionality to everything.
The content of the Card is what we see inside the window that opens when the Card is triggered.
You can put an image as a thumbnail, the description, the link to which you want to redirect the user and you can also customize the writing on the button to click.
With these 3 triggers, the only limit is the own imagination. In every tour you can enter a lot of things
and you can also connect the tours to each other, even if to do this, once you click on the link of the card,
you should not open a new window, but the link should open in the same window.
In short, with VeeR Experience, there is not the limit of the classic virtual tour, but you can create games,
treasure hunts, interactive stories, you can create maps of recommended places to visit in a city,
you can create puzzles with quick time events in the videos, for example.
In short, everything. You can really create beyond boundaries.
Obviously the scenes can be added, removed, moved, you can decide the duration and what to do once finished.
You can use 360 or 3D content, photos or videos, 360 or 180, you can add background music,
you can decide to show all the scenes to the visitor and allow him to go to a certain scene without going through all the others.
In short, you understood, right?
This time, not that other times there was nothing interesting, I strongly recommend going to see the description and open some links
because I leave you some examples of VeeR Experience created by me, but also some VeeR Experience created
from the others who are, honestly, much more interesting than mine, such as Fortnite.
Of course I leave you also the link to VeeR Experience, so if someone is not registered yet, he can do it and can start to create his own experiences beyond boundaries.
It's completely free for everyone so I do not see why a 360 creator does not have to at least try to create one, right?
Subscribe, comment, maybe link your experiences in the comments, if you have already created, share.
Thank you for watching this video see you at the next.
