bringing you a new video and a topic to talk about,
and that topic is about Battlefield 1.
Before I start talking about my topic,
I just gonna say that I hope you guys are happy as I am
stay healthy guys,
and keep gaming.
Now let's start with our today's topic.
Introduction first
Battlefield 1
Its been 5 months after its release
and good God
that game still looks fantastic.
I love history
and this is one of the reason why I love Battlefield 1
Although its just a game not fully historically accurate
but I finally I can feel how the guns feels and sounds like
the self loading rifle on Medic class
the first generation of submachine guns and light machine guns
Lewis Gun
and that Anti tank grenades that looks like a bouquet of grenades.
War Stories is not bad at all
really love The Runner and Avanti Savoia,
I don't know it I pronounce that correctly but
those 2 War Stories were great, good storyline though.
Now enough introduction about Battlefield 1
Let's focus what I'm going to say here.
Battlefield is a great franchise and Battlefield 1 is the new in its franchise
running on the Frostbite engine, that makes the game looks realistic and amazing.
Well like I used to say on my previous videos,
every game has its pros and cons.
Well this game, however, have some few cons in my point of view.
and this will lead to the main reason why I decided to make this video.
First, there are some people who are not satisfied with the content of the game.
Reason is that the game provide few guns and maps.
Well yes I do agree with that.
Battlefield 1 does need to have a lot of content,
but unfortunately they 'did' have the contents.
You guys understand ?
Well what I mean is they do have a lot of content,
but those are put into a 'downloadable content', short form is 'DLC'.
DLC means you can have it if you pay for it.
So if you want more contents, you have to buy or purchase the DLC.
Period.
Yes of course we have a lot of money, no doubt.
Sure we can buy them, but that price needs to be lower.
Too bad I already bought it.
My plan was not to buy Battlefield 1 until the price dropped 60% aka discount 60%
The reason why I did this is because in Malaysia,
the country I've been living till today,
is that the currency for this country is already fucked up.
Before I explain this, please turn on the Caption for this video if you haven't do it yet.
Please turn it on to understand what I'm going to explain here.
Okay now, the price for Battlefield 1 is 60 Dollars, correct?
So 60 Dollars equals to RM245 in my currency, which is a fucking lot.
I only earn RM50 once per 1-2 weeks, and I need to spend it wisely for my college.
So what if I save RM5 aka 1.3 Dollars per week, it would take me
131 weeks to buy Battlefield 1 Ultimate Edition which is sad.
But that doesn't matter for you guys. Am I right ?
Second, the game no longer have good servers or 3rd party servers which is sucks.
In Battlefield 4, I used to play on my friend's server since the ping in Malaysia is around 15-50 ms which is very very good.
But now in Battlefield 1, there are no servers in Malaysia and they only have servers in Japan
I hate the fact when I connect to the Battlefield 1 servers, I will face around 200-300 ping.
Not just me, some other players also face the same problem.
I think this problem also occurs on other people's connection.
I feel sad for those who want to play Battlefield 1 in Africa though, please be patience guys, I feel you.
Now, the last con and the main reason why I make this video,
something that EA and DICE must have forgotten that used to make the Battlefield franchise a masterpiece.
EA, please ..
Bring Back Offline Multiplayer (Bots)
Ok, maybe some of you guys thinking right now,
"whattt, is this guy for real ? Bots mode ? Offline multiplayer vs AI ? Seriously ?"
Well to tell you the truth, I'm serious.
You see, Battlefield is a great game, and its all started from Battlefield 1942.
You know Battlefield 1942 ?
Battlefield 1942 offer some unique gamemodes and features, one of them is Coop vs AI.
On that period of time, I love Battlefield 1942 so much because my friends and I
will play the game at the Internet Cafe for hours, only playing Battlefield 1942, Coop vs AI.
When Battlefield 2 came out, we started to play that like serious soldiers on the battlefield, such as
"Over and Out" "Roger that" "Look out, enemy rockets!" "Grenades!"
Even playing with the bots, its too fun.
I still can remembered all the fun we had on those days.
But when Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3 came out, everything changes.
Its still fun, but you can't have that kind of 'fun' anymore.
Okay, one of the main reasons why I say we need offline multiplayer is that
not a lot of people are pro in this game, including me.
Maybe some of you guys might be thinking,
''Oh maybe he's a CoD fanboy playing Battlefield 1, and noob when play Battlefield 1, and always get killed when playing Battlefield 1"
I will take that as a compliment, okay ?
I am a noob, I love playing as a Medic, and good in Support too.
At the same time, think for those who have bad internet connection.
They also wanna have some good time playing in Battlefield 1, earning kills and rank up.
Usually this only happens when you have a good internet connection, and doesn't lag much when playing Battlefield 1.
Although connection can be fixed, let me tell you another reason.
Remember those bots that used to have in Battlefield 1942, Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142 ?
We can use that features to improve our gameplay.
I bet almost 90% of Old Battlefield Players or Veteran Battlefield Players
also play with bots to improve their gameplay on each class so they can master on all of them.
Battlefield 4 does have a Test Range, for testing your guns to get kills in the right distance.
Its a good test for Snipers.
But Test Range doesn't do much, you can only test it on dummy targets.
What about test it on real players ?
Must be hard isn't it, especially when you had a bad connection while playing Battlefield 1, not to mention that you might rage because of the lag.
Bots mode or Offline Multiplayer will help you improve your gameplay as well as your teamplay
at the same time it will help you to test your weapons and gadgets on those bots.
Another reason is that bots mode, if possible, can have all the weapons unlocked
so we could try each and every weapon, to see if it is the best weapon for us to use.
Having a bots mode also bring a benefit of 'having some fun'.
This is a good way if you been in a losing streak in Battlefield 1
and that will help you to release your stress, without getting kill over and over again.
And another reason is that, did you realise that Battlefield 1 single player or War Stories
doesn't offer you a lot of tips in gameplay, classes and weapons that you use so you will understand how it works
If anyone of you know who JackFrags is
well basically a lot of Battlefield players knew JackFrags
he also recommend Battlefield 1 by saying in a video to create an
'AI environment which is like a fake series of multiplayer games vs AI'
I will put his video link in the description, for you to know more of the details why he recommends it.
At the same time, in his video, he told that the game lacks of informative tips of weapons, gadgets and classes.
For example an Assault player runs away from Tanks while they got the equipment to destroy tanks
or perhaps a medic who doesn't revive or heal you when you badly injured or low on health
This is why bots mode will help you to improve your gameplay as you try to play each class so you can better understand what each class does.
Lastly, I just want you to feel how me and some of other players feel.
What do you feel when you have a good skills but bad connection
or when you are not good, but have a good connection ?
Both feeling is not the same, we all wanna to have a good game experience
and I really hope you can understand how we feel.
As we all know that EA and DICE tried to test bots in the Battlefield 4 Community Test Environment servers
and as for me its their first try on making bots mode for future Battlefield games
And as I know Star Wars Battlefront by EA had a reboot where they put a new 'skirmish mode' where you can play with bots
For me this is an improvement for EA and DICE for making bots, a success
And I really wish they will take that skirmish mode and make it into Battlefield 1 as an offline multiplayer
Damn that would be cool !
Please EA and DICE, I will be the representative for those who have bad internet connection to play Battlefield 1
and for those who really want offline bots, badly. Please EA, I beg you.
I will put a link where Battlefield community has been talking about this
and where they all want EA to create a system like this for them to play and have fun
At the same time, I'm sure that the Frostbite engine is capable enough to implement a system like this.
This will also helps to educate new players
so they could learn how to play the game before joining the multiplayer
Because War Stories doesn't help much though, mostly people will skip it anyway and joins the multiplayer.
This is why we need the bots mode BADLY
Dear EA developers, please listen to our cries
