two metaphors are interplaying.

Metaphor of path is the first one,

metaphor of the spring of water is the second.

The meeting of these two metaphors

turns out to be something truly amazing.

What does it tell us?

I am a pilgrim,

I'm on my way to fulfill

wonderful, loving will of my Father.

The will I am learning to see, the will I am more and more passionate about,

which I want to follow.

Following this path

would be completely exhausting if it weren't for the spring,

a place where I can take rest,

where I draw my inner strength, my energy from,

to walk the path further along.

The path and the spring.

Walking and feeding myself

with whatever God wants to give me,

so that I have the strength, inspiration,

everlasting energy

to follow the path He is leading me.

What is this spring for me? Moments of rest and peace in prayer,

moments of pure delight in God's grace,

sacraments,

unending wells of God's Word, the Bible,

springing up in our hearts.

We need this spring to follow our path.
