He who overcomes: he shall be clothed in white garments,
be a pillar in God's temple. Sit with Jesus on His throne.
Eat of the hidden manna. He will receive power over the nations.
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the church.
If you have received love in your heart by the Holy Spirit,
then Paul exhorts us fervently to seek to get enlightened eyes of the heart,
so that we can see the great inheritance we have with all of the saints in the light.
That is a tremendous revelation. And when we have eyes in our heart,
the Bible becomes living for us. Something new takes place.
We know that we do not belong to this world, we belong to the world of the future.
We are the most modern and progressive people on the earth.
everything that has to do with sin and sinners, is unmodern.
That's far away.
But that which lies before us now, is what we see in the spirit of victory.
THE SPIRIT OF EXPECTATION
It is incredible to stand here today. I remember in 1967,
When I was a young man, and the Jews fought through
incredible opposition and broke through here to the temple wall.
And the soldiers stood here for the first time in
2000 years and cried and cried out to God at the temple wall.
Here the temple will be raised up again. And that is the tremendous hope
that dwells in every Jew. We also have this tremendous hope,
that one day the spiritual temple will also be finished,
and we, together with Jesus, will be raptured into the clouds
and come home to Him in a glorious wedding.
"And at midnight a cry was heard: 'Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet Him!'"
And that signifies then when the darkness is deepest,
the spiritual darkness is deepest on the earth. The people don't see any hope.
But then Jesus will come back to fetch His own.
And I don't think the world understands this.
It could easily happen in the middle of a war or after a war where many have died, etc.
Then Jesus will come and the dead in Christ will be resurrected first.
And the graves will open up from all over because they come from over the whole world.
From all directions.
Together with those who are alive at this time, they are the top stone.
And then the dead meet the living, and they will be raptured up to heaven
with the archangel's trumpet and meet their Lord and Master, Jesus Christ.
This is what they've longed for, this moment has been in their thoughts.
Just as it was in the thoughts of the Jews throughout the past 2000 years.
"Next year in Jerusalem!" "Next year in Jerusalem!"
This was the thought that made them able to endure,
And when they met in Moscow and in Paris, etc. they greeted each other with that:
"Next year in Jerusalem!"
And almost 2000 years went by, and then it happened.
They got their country, and they came down here. And it's been the same way with the saints.
It's that which has held them up, that which they have longed for and
has carried them through the battle. This tremendous calling, to be Jesus' bride.
Then, when it happens, the Antichrist will have power on the earth.
The night is at its darkest. And those who are not along, but know about it,
they will have to give their lives as martyrs. I don't recommend trying that,
but have that hope in your heart that "I will be along when Jesus comes again,"
and prepare yourself for the day of His coming.
There are a lot of people who almost feel terror
when they think about Jesus coming back soon.
It's true that as people it's natural for us
to live before the others' face, and to get honor from them and
behave the way they like. This is the pattern we have learned from our childhood.
That's why we have to practice Godly fear, and that means that we set our minds on things above,
where Jesus is sitting. And when you do that,
then you will also experience this tremendous love,
that the Father and the Son have for us. And then the terror flees from you.
It is clear that our children also have a part in the promises.
For the promises belong to us and our children. Our children won't be food for the beast
and for the Antichrist and the false prophet. They will be taken up together with us,
because they are children in the house of their Father. They belong to the kingdom of heaven.
And there's lots of space there. It is not just the mature bride who will be in the rapture,
but all of those who have begun on the way and have this longing and have crucified the flesh,
they will be along in the rapture when Jesus comes.
I am fully convinced about that, as far as I know God's household.
And that is very large.
Children needn't be afraid of that, and neither should the parents.
When storms rage over the whole earth, then we will be in heaven and celebrate the wedding.
That will be an amazing experience.
It will take place down here in Jerusalem. It's here we will come back.
When Jesus comes together with His saints,
then the Antichrist will have seated himself in the temple
and presented himself as God in the world. And all the TV channels are turned towards him.
For all eyes shall see Him, it's written about Jesus. So everyone is following this event.
And then Jesus goes into the temple. And He who humbled Himself has such power,
that He will consume him who exalted himself with the breath of His mouth.
And he will be thrown into the sea of fire, he and the false prophet.
Then a new time will come where the saints take charge of the earth.
That will be a tremendously good time.
And the bride's task is to dry all the tears.
Think about all the children that suffer and are in pain
and all the tears, all the sufferings the devil has caused.
All of that will be wiped away. But the bride herself is perfectly happy
and has no tears to dry away. Then there is peace and rest and blessing.
There will be a new era then, and it begins in Jerusalem.
Every revolution must start in a city, and this revolution will then spread over the world,
and country after country will come to experience it. Everyone will have to bow down for
the world government in Jerusalem. And when they do that, then
blessings will come over their country. That will be a glorious time.
But at the end of the Millennium then the devil, who was bound,
will be let loose again, and he will deceive a lot of people on earth.
The first time it was Jesus who had a showdown with the Antichrist.
Now it is God Himself who will have a showdown with the devil.
We can say that is the second battle of Armageddon.
Then it is God Himself, with the saints, who lets fire fall from heaven
and consumes all of the insurgents. All those who move against Jerusalem
to destroy, they are consumed by fire. And the devil is thrown into
the sea of fire together with the two others. God doesn't want a new "fall" after this.
So the final judgment comes, and then each person,
and everyone who has lived, will come forward
and those who have their names written in the book of life,
they come up and into heaven. And the others are locked out and they are consumed.
That will be a really glorious day, then God will create a new heaven and a new earth.
Everything that is here now, that will pass away in fire, that belongs to the fire,
both heaven and earth. He creates a new heaven because
Satan was also in heaven. So even that is not pure in His eyes.
Then the earth will be perfect just as God wanted it,
with Jesus in power. Then Jesus will subject Himself to the Father
and give everything back to Him. And then the Father will lower His throne
from heaven down to the earth, and He will live among us
and be our God. And there will be an eternal glory,
that is difficult for us to really understand today. But we believe in it, and those who
believe will see and experience.
When you love the person Jesus, then you are in the spirit of expectation,
then you wait for Him, with pain, with longing, with tears.
You wait for Him, and it becomes your whole life. That is the spirit of expectation,
To have love for Jesus Christ. This has also been in me.
And when I was converted and received the Holy Spirit
and was born again, then this was woken again in me, in full strength.
As a child I was very interested in Israel and read a lot about it,
but then I completely lost that desire. I had only this one desire:
"I need to be there. I need to go there."
And I began to run towards the goal as if only one wins the prize.
And that is what I've done up until today. I have never had any other interests,
A disciple cannot have other interests. I have never been bound by
earthly things after that. I have lived for Jesus and walked in the
works He has prepared for me. And soon I'll be 70 years old,
and I have a tremendous joy in my heart, that soon I will meet my Savior.
I will meet Jesus Christ.
That is what I have longed for, that is what I have lived for
my whole life. That will be a glorious day.
When we are raptured up into the clouds and Meet Jesus Christ.
There is a tremendous power in the spirit of expectation.
You receive new strength. Then you can run like a youth.
Young men become faint but those who wait on the Lord renew their strength.
They run. They do not grow weary. There is a tremendous power in focusing on
the fact that we will soon be home. Here in the world we are pilgrims,
and we have to hold on to the staff as long as we are here.
We are pilgrims, we are wandering. We are in a strange land,
on the way to our home. And there we have to hold on to the staff.
And then we'll hear the cry from those who are home, those who are now at home with God,
who are on Zion, God's Zion. And they are crying out to us who stand in the battle.
"Hold out!" "Fight!"
"Soon, in a little while, you'll be there." "Don't give up now."
You hear these glorious cries and you see them in the spirit
They follow along with us and applaud.
"Now you need to hold out!" "Now you need to look towards the goal, brother!"
"Do not love the world or the things of the world!"
"Free yourself from everything else, so that you are ready when Jesus comes."
These good cries give you strength and courage to finish the race.
The power of resurrection is also there. To be in this spirit, it means everything.
If you are not in this spirit then you will not be along when Jesus comes.
For He will fetch those who are waiting for Him. Those who are in this spirit,
it is only these He will fetch.
There is a victor's crown waiting for us.
Do not let anyone take your victor's crown. Do not let anyone take the crown of life from you,
for this is your calling and this is the end goal for your life.
May God mightily strengthen you who are in the race and in the faith,
and also wake up you who have not yet come to this.
