Youtube daily report Mar 22 2017

Welcome to WARN, Today's News is.

Mazagon Docks, DCNS keen on making 3 more Scorpene-Class Subs

Mazagon Docks Ltd along with French shipbuilder DCNS, its technology partner for the Scorpene

submarines, has approached the Indian Navy with a repeat order for three Scorpene-class

submarines, despite the data leak scandal that had threatened to derail the project

last August.

Like the first six Scorpenes, the three new submarines would also be manufactured at the

Mumbai site, and would be equipped with a new anaerobic propulsion system (AIP) developed

by the DRDO.

Six Scorpene submarines were ordered in 2005, and are being built at the state-owned Mazagaon

Docks (MDL) in Mumbai, with technical assistance and transfer of technology as well as equipment

from DCNS.

INS Kalvari, the first Scorpene class stealth submarine built under Project 75, is currently

undergoing extensive sea trials, while INS Khanderi, the second indigenous Scorpene-class

submarine was recently launched at MDL.

The Scorpene submarine is one of the newer submarines of the Indian Navy, and has the

capability of launching an anti-ship missile from below the surface of water which is expected

to give the Navy a boost.

Sensitive data related to the Scorpene was leaked in the Australian media last year.

A committee was set up to look into the matter.

In early March, the Indian Navy conducted the maiden firing of an SM39 anti-ship missile

from INS Kalvari.

The missile successfully hit a surface target at extended ranges during the trial firing,

and was hailed as a significant milestone, not only for the Kalvari submarine, but also

in enhancing the Indian Navys sub-surface warfare capability.

Sources in the know pointed out that all six Scorpene being built in India are to be equipped

with anti-ship missiles, which can help neutralise surface threats at extended ranges.

Sources pointed out that a repeat order for three new submarines would also help the Indian

shipyard maintain the know-how and skills it has acquired through the manufacture of

the first two Scorpene.

At a seminar in November 2016, former Defence Minister Manohar Parrikkar had expressed a

need for 24 submarines to be built for the Navy, including the six P-75 Scorpene submarines

currently on order.

Given the extensive submarine building programme in other countries, the Minister

was keen to strengthen the fleet.

It makes emminent sense to continue to build on the first order, said an official, requesting

anonymity, adding that it was also an option under the P-75 programme.

Transfer of technology from DCNS also involves changing the shells of the Scorpene by

making them thicker with steel, and the Indian counterparts have been educated on

the same, as also integrating it with missiles and weapon systems.

Recently, the Indian Navy detailed a timeline for the induction of six Scorpene submarines,

with the first two set to be commissioned end-2017.

ISRO commissions World's 3rd-largest Wind Tunnel in Thiruvananthapuram - Duration: 2:56.

Welcome to WARN, Today's News is. ISRO commissions Worlds 3rd-largest Wind

Tunnel in Thiruvananthapuram

THE Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) created history on Monday by commissioning

the worlds third-largest hypersonic wind tunnel at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre

(VSSC) in Thiruvananthapuram. A wind tunnel is used to study the effects of air flowing

past a solid object - in ISROs case, space vehicles.

The space agency has lined up big missions such as the Reusable Launch Vehicle (RLV),

Two Stage To Orbit (TSTO) rockets, air breathing propulsion systems, and the human space flight

programme for the future. Aerothermodynamic modelling of such vehicles in a hypersonic

environment is vital for optimal design.

ISRO chairman A S Kiran Kumar on Monday commissioned two facilities - a 1-m Hypersonic Wind Tunnel

and a 1-m Shock Tunnel.

These facilities are the third largest in terms of size and simulation capability

in the world. These facilities - named after former ISRO chairman Satish Dhawan - have

been indigenously designed, developed and made in India with the support of Indian Industries,

VSSC said in a statement.

A few critical technologies, which are under embargo, were jointly developed by ISRO and

industries. The facility is quite complex with 500 valves, two km of pipelines, 41 electric

motors, 35 pumps, 320 instruments and 10 km of cables.

Commissioning of such facilities would provide adequate data for design and development

of current and future space transportation systems in the country. The commissioning

of the facility also symbolises the countrys capability in establishing such world-class

facilities wherein technology from outside is restricted or not available, Kiran Kumar

said.

VSSC director K Sivan said the new facility will help aerodynamic characterisation of

advanced space transportation systems.

Renowned aerodynamicist Roddam Narasimha and VSSC associate director S Pandian were present

at

the commissioning.

Slow Cooker Pork Shoulder - Duration: 4:02.

The fish brothers productions presents

Not Chef Ryan Show

Pork Shoulder

hey guys it's Not Chef Ryan, I'm back with another video

today we're going to be cooking a slow cooker pulled pork

Let's get in to the kitchen

he's a little overweight

and he likes to eat

but he's not a chef

he's not a chef

that's why he's Not Chef Ryan

We're going to start here with about a pound and a half of pork shoulder

It's kind of a small piece guys

the rule of thumb is about 2 hours in the crock pot

for every pound that you've got

I'm pouring some olive oil over this

then we're going to add some brown sugar

powdered mustard

this is some smoked paprika

powdered mustard and smoked paprika is about a tablespoon and a half

same thing with the pepper

about a tablespoon and a half

I'm just going to lightly salt this

I don't want to put too much, we don't want to dry it out

just give it a little bit of flavor

once we have all that on there, we're just going to begin massaging that in

to the meat, just like that

so once you've got all those spices rubbed in there, it should look just about like this

now this is ready to go in to the crock pot, it's that simple

so we're going to put this stuff in with our meat because it's going to give it some fantastic flavor

I've just got some - a - parsley here, little rosemary

some crushed garlic

onion, ah I've got a little bit of celery here

some yellow, or some orange bell pepper I guess

and some apple

we can just take these

and they're just going to go right in the crock pot, just like that

now we're just going to add about a half a cup of apple cider vinegar to this

and about 1/2 of a dark beer

so now that' we've got all of our ingredients in here

we're just going to go ahead and set the meat right on the top of all of them

just like that

we'll cover this

set it on low

and again you want to cook this on low

about 2 hours for every 1 pound

so this is about a pound and a half so

we're going to go for about 3 hours

so this has been in for about 3 hours now

it is ready

man it looks great

nice and moist

we're going to go ahead and take this out

and we'll set it over here

let it rest for just a little while

and then we'll be ready to shread it up

so now this is fully cooked we're just going to begin shredding it just like this

until we've got it all in little pieces

man this is coming right apart

this is great

this is what everything should look like once you've got it all shredded up

deciding to cook this meat, not a tough decision

deciding to eat the meat, also not a very tough decision

deciding what kind of barbeque sauce to put on it, that's a little bit harder

I'm using this Dimples Barbecue suace, I love the spicy! They sent this to me...

it's out of North Carolina, it's fantastic, I recommend giving it a shot

so I'm just going to pour some of that over the top, oh, it looks good!

and we'll mix this up

so I hope you guys loved my video today on how to make slow cooker pulled pork

man it's fantastic! If you did, give me a like, or subscribe

I post new videos every week

you know I can't stress the importance of sitting down at the table with friends and family to share a meal

so don't forget to share the gift of food with those that you love

for other great videos you can check us out on our website, facebook, google+, twitter, instagram, or youtube which you can all find at Not Chef Ryan

thanks so much to the guys at Dimples for sending us the sauce that we used in this video

like always it didn't go to waste

and until next time this is Not Chef Ryan saying love what you cook, and cook what you love

Thanks for watching

This Vitamin Can Stop Cancer Cell Growth | Useful info - Duration: 3:45.

This Vitamin Can Stop Cancer Cell Growth.

In fact, recent research has found that vitamin D, which your body produces through sun exposure

can help prevent and treat colorectal, breast, and prostate cancer.

This is significant because these cancers count for 35% of cancer cases and 20% of cancer

deaths in the United States . Dr. Cedric F. Garland of the University of

California's San Diego Moores Cancer Center is the epidemiologist who has connected the

dots between Vitamin D deficiency and cancer.

Studies show that the vitamin fights cancer, by promoting cellular differentiation, preventing

cancer cell growth, inducing apoptosis and preventing blood vessel formation within tumors.Medical

experts predict that in the US there will be 1.7 million new patients diagnosed with

cancer and that is really one sad information.

Modern medicine is constantly looking for finding new cures and treatments for this

modern plague and recent discoveries declare that one vitamin has connection with one kind

of cure.

It all about vitamin D. The statistic data show that almost 70% of American children

do not consume enough vitamin D and 75% of adult Americans do not get enough of this

vitamin daily.

Vitamin D is very important and beneficial for the human body and helps in preventing

many diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, cancer and diabetes.

The daily intake of this vitamin is really very important for health and the most common

signs of deficiency are: Pain in bones.

Chronicle diseases.

Muscle weakness.

Depression.

Sweating.

Heavy asthma.

Connive damage particularly in elderly.

In 2008 one group of researchers from Norway made study with 440 participants with excessive

weight.

The researchers found out that to those who was given 20 000 and 40 000 IUS vitamin D

weekly showed less amount of depression symptoms beside the ones who do not consume it.

Many other studies prove the connection of vitamin D and its effectiveness in prevention

of cancer.

In a study done in 2007, women who were in menopause received certain dose of vitamin

D and after 4 years the results showed drastically reduce in the risks of all cancers.

Vitamin D has the power to absorb calcium and protect the bone health.

It also helps in cardiovascular system, immune system and other important functions to improve.

Many medical experts and doctors say that the recommended daily intake of this important

vitamin is adjustable.

For infants from 0-12 months the dose should be 1000 IU daily and for those aged from 1

to 50 years it should be 600 IU daily.

he intake should be best through diet and products like milk, oily fish, tuna, mushrooms,

yogurt and orange juice are having it.

Spending time in front of the sun is also one good option for receiving it.

When you use the oral supplements of intake, it takes at least 2-3 months to be established

in the appropriate level of the body.

The Biggest Mistake Most Online Business Owners Make - Duration: 2:11.

- Hey friends, Jennifer Herndon here.

Today I want to talk to you about the biggest mistake

that I see online business owners make and that's

thinking they're working on their business

when they actually aren't.

Now I talk to a lot of people who have

an online business and they're just not making

the progress that they want to make.

In other words, they're not making the money

that they want or need to make in their business

and when we dig deep into their business,

and talk about okay, well what did you do today?

I hear things like, "Well, I spent some time on

"social media developing relationships,

"getting out good content."

"I redid my website, updated it."

"I went through a new Facebook ads course and in fact,

"I was reading my email and I saw another Facebook

"ads course and I bought that and I think that's

"really gonna make a difference in my business."

But what I don't hear too many times is,

well, I actually asked some people to buy my stuff.

I actually tried to sell my products or services

to make some money today.

I took some direct steps to get people to hand me

their credit card.

And I think that's because as most of us

are service-oriented people, we have a product or service

that we really want to help people with

and because of that, the selling side of things

is kinda hard, but building relationships, the easy stuff,

the comfort zone stuff is what we concentrate on

and the kind of technical stuff, setting up the "Buy" button

and the uncomfortable stuff of asking someone to give

you money is the stuff that we don't really get around to

enough in our business.

So here's what I want you to do for tomorrow.

I want you to make your to-do list and at the very top

of that to-do list, the first thing you do,

I want it to be something that will directly make you money.

Put out an offer, send out an email that has a "Buy" button

so that you can get somebody to buy your product or service.

Before you do anything else, all this other relationship

building, content creation, it's very important,

but it doesn't mean anything if you're not selling anything.

Not only are you not getting any money,

but you're not helping anybody that you're meant to

and want to help.

All right, thanks for listening.

Talk to you tomorrow, bye bye.

U.S. lawmaker calls for 'secondary sanctions' on China to pressure N. Korea - Duration: 0:57.

A U.S. lawmaker is pressing President Trump to slap secondary sanctions on Chinese companies

that do business with North Korea.

Ted Yoho,... chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific,...

said Tuesday that Chinese entities continue to play an active role in Pyongyang's weapons

development.

He added that the U.S. needs to stop pretending that Beijing's North Korea policy is motivated

by anything other than extreme self-interest.

Yoho also slammed China for its opposition to the deployment of the THAAD missile defense

system in South Korea.

He said it was unacceptable for Beijing to take economic retaliation against South Korea.

He said THAAD is purely for the defense of South Korea... and China should instead focus

on addressing the threat that makes it necessary.

Project to develop Unmanned variant of LCA Tejas planes in works - Duration: 2:23.

Welcome to WARN, Today's News is.

Project to develop Unmanned variant of LCA Tejas planes in works

In what would break new ground, India has started work on developing an unmanned combat

version of the home-grown light combat aircraft (LCA), with a task group being constituted

to study how to convert the fighter for a futuristic role.

A team has already started work on the project to convert the LCA into a drone and Indias

premier aircraft manufacturer Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is confident that the project

can be carried out within a short time frame.

We have started an internal study on making a unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) on

the Tejas platform.

Besides, we are confident on coming up with an unmanned version of Chetak helicopter as

well, HAL Chief T Suvarna Raju told ET.

The Air Force has already placed orders for 123 LCA fighters and HAL is targeting a gap

of 200 fighters that the Air Force will face in coming years.

An unmanned version of the LCA could be used for cross-border strikes missions that

place a high risk on pilots in case of a ditching in enemy territory.

India is also working on a project named AURA to make a futuristic combat drone that would

be powered by a modified version of the Kaveri engine.

The drone, however, is several years away as the project is still at the design stage.

While unmanned LCA would be no match for a futuristic stealth drone, officials pointed

that out converting a flying platform into an autonomous unit could be faster and cheaper

short term option.

The US, for example, uses unmanned F-16 fighters for aerial target practice.
