V.55 Kman's Weekly News VBlog March 17th, 2017 Tesla VBLOG - Duration: 8:41.
weekly update 50 50 oh boy well Tesla is
looking to include or bundle insurance
into the purchase of Tesla vehicles I
wonder what their mark rope is going to
be because most of our stuff is a pretty
high markup seems like so it could be
extremely fair normal one high markup no
but this is going to be an interesting
development especially considering how
bad most of the insurance companies are
giving us to Tesla owners of the back
side especially those whose vehicle trim
level starts with ap and ends with a
plus or a dash or or a underscore line
you know Ludacris MO and same old so on
and so forth new Tesla's chief financial
officer will make five hundred thousand
plus benefits annually tell us you're
watching I'll do the same job and I'll
do it for a hundred thousand a year so
you guys from cash Tesla is powering
kawai with 52 megawatt power pack and 13
megawatt solar farm apparently the solar
production is exceeding the consumption
during the day so of course they store
the excess and have 52 megawatts of
battery power to power the island or the
country at night awesome Model X is of
course the most fuel-efficient SUV in
North America like we didn't already
know that but apparently that is used to
some news outlets okay here Tesla to get
11 million 560 7061 dollars in
gigafactory tax credits from Nevada
they're cashing in maybe they're
fulfilling their obligations to
the state part of the agreement they are
cashing in more power to them although
Nevada state treasurer is seeking a full
audit of Faraday future and Tesla the
state treasurer wants more information
on products they are fun they're
projects they are funding or giving
incentives or credits to and obviously
while Tesla has been fulfilling their
end of the bargain and looks like
they're going to be fulfilling and then
some faraday future has interestingly
kind of dropped off all the radars
lately I don't know maybe it's left
other shenanigans at the was at CES
consumer electronic show I think it was
where they fudged the ferdi future car
autonomously driving off the stage which
actually what happened was apparently
they cut the lights off because the
lights were interfering with the
autonomous functions due to some error
but if you enhance the video post
process the video that they that that
was displayed you can clearly see
somebody actually getting in the car and
staying crouch down and driving it off
the stage estimates show production will
be as much as eighty thousand minutes of
model threes in 2017 Tesla raised 1.2
billion dollars for model 3 production
sixty kilowatt-hour trims will be
discontinued again around April
seventeenth 2017 apparently because
they've been putting 75 kilowatt hour I
gotta say 75 kilowatt hour battery packs
we the actual capacity is not 75 but ok
certainly five kilowatts battery pack
our battery packs in sixty kilowatt
power cards and apparently they found
out most people are
going for the larger capacity and when
they don't pay for that larger capacity
tesla's just losing them cause they
could have had by just making everybody
get a seven you know you know there's
still production constraining in terms
of their making cars they're getting as
many orders as they can fill cars or
more orders and control cars which is
due to delays so why not give get rid of
the lowest paying car lowest profit car
the 60 the 60d was actually a nice bump
up the original model of 60 after
driving that for three years and eighty
thousand plus miles the original 60 and
nandi 60s should never have existed that
battery pack was just way too small it
was a great introduction car to get
people in the door but it was just
especially in the early days when there
weren't many superchargers it is a very
difficult car to use to replace an
existing I mean I made it work I did it
but just having an 85 would have changed
things night and day and Tesla it is
making a full transition to the new 2170
style cell and I'll have one to
demonstrate for the next weekly update
like you have a 21-17 cell from a ryobi
no a rigid cordless drill battery that I
had rebuilt and go figure I actually
rebuilt so if using 2170 cells I
actually used 18 650 cells because I
already had them and then I doubled the
number of cells in the pack and each of
my 18 650 cells had a higher capacity to
begin with then the 21 70s that were in
there which so obviously the drill was
the packs were already five or six years
old but but that covers it for this week
puts the up-and-coming videos still
working on the toilet or I'm going to
see if I can film some of that after
we're done here and then we have I did
some more tests leftover Chinese food
whoopsie we're going to do some more
tests I did some more tests with Tesla
spy and I have a twenty ten times normal
speed with a voice narration overlay of
videos only about 45 minutes long I sped
it up of course because waiting for your
car to hit one hundred percent contains
a while so we have that video coming in
the purpose of that video was to show
the car trying to balance the battery
pack towards the top end of its charge
and we have another one range update for
27,000 miles we have another one just
showing how hot the battery pack gets
well haha supercharging although it
didn't get as hot as those anticipating
and i went from thirty-five percent to
about ninety seven percent i'll have to
try it again starting a lower state of
charge and last but not least what we
have coming is a caiman energy video
we're going to be diving into the
original iPad iPod shuffle taking a look
at the internals and how simple of a
device it was and why mine is still
working after ten years and it works
beautifully although I did break that
off switch finally got all the time it
still works live in it on us which I
don't know i used the living crap even
fell out of my shirt pocket when i was
on 30 feet up on top of a pallet on a
forklift he's getting something off of a
high shelf and I bent over on the palate
and slid out of my pocket and crash the
ground went down picked it up still

Lady Gaga's New Malibu House Tour Inside and Out.
Lady Gaga has reportedly dropped $23 million on a Malibu, California,
mansion with a Batcave (yep, you read that right), according to Curbed. The Batcave, which is accessible by
a secret door, contains a wine cellar, home theater, and bowling alley. The home was sold by Dan Romanelli,
the founder of the consumer-products division at Warner Bros., who listed it for $24.95 million in May 2014.
Romanelli built the superhero-inspired home in 2006. "Batman was something that really helped build my
division," Romanelli, who worked on toys linked to the series, told The Wall Street Journal when
the home went on sale.
The nearly 10,270-square-foot mansion also has five bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, an elevator, gym, and pool.
Here's what you see when you drive up to Lady Gaga's new digs. If you head around back, the view gets even
more impressive. Let's jump right to the underground "Batcave."

The Adolescent Diversion Project - Duration: 2:06.
The Adolescent Diversion Project pairs MSU students with youth from the community
in an effort to keep them out of trouble.
They made a bad choice, but these kids are given an opportunity to make successes
without the court overseeing every move.
One of the great things I like about the Adolescent Diversion Program is that it's working
and I know it's working because I don't see these kids in my court.
Bill's project is an exemplary model -- students, faculty, undergraduate students
community -- all benefit from this program.
There's a lot of "academics" to this course. The venue in which all that is is about application to
adolescent kids and their family
so everything is about how could I take this principle and apply [it].
It's all about these kids, their lives and how we can intervene with them.
Goodness, how many hundreds of students over 30 years have gone through his 331 or 332 classes?
Extraordinary.
We want to be able to give them the tools to help themselves
and I think that's something that's really special about our program.
When you think about outreach, it's not just simply doing a project
or doing activity. It's being sure that the best scholarship is a part of that project
in a way that the project informs our research agenda, our scholarship
to make it richer and stronger and our scholarship informs the project or the activity in a way
that it makes it richer and stronger and more sustainable.
Through all of the changes, through 30 years, we are all still committed to the program
and we hope to be working with this program for another 30 years.
There's a great deal of satisfaction in now being able to look back and saying
you really did put those things together in ways that benefitted:
the scientific generation of new knowledge;
the education of students;
and thousands of adolescent kids. Lives seem to be better.

Top 5 most scariest facts about the ocean. - Duration: 5:20.
Humans have investigated large parts of the Earth, and even some places in the Solar System.
However, it is interesting to know that although 70% of the planet is made of water, only 5% of these territories have been explored.
The rest of it, its a mystery.
But of the little that is known, there are some discoveries that can make you see the sea differently.
Next, we give a review, of the most terrifyn discoveries most terrifying discoveries in the ocean.
Mythical marine creatures could be real.
So only 5% of the sea has been explored. Nobody knows what is hiding there.
Primitive maps are full of warnings of marine creatures, that supposedly inhabit the ocean.
Some recent sightings, seem to support the theory that many of the stories of our ancestors, were not so crazy after all.
This takes us to believe, that the sea may be the home of some undiscovered monsters.
A major part of the sea is in constant darkness
The average depth of the oceans is 3730 meters.
Light can penetrate only about 100 meters, therefore most of our planet is in constant darkness.
And in the depths, the human eye is capable of seeing only the 1% of the sea depths.
The sea is coming dangerously close to us.
The sea has claimed many victims throughout the years.
Entire towns, cities, and present-day seaside localities, are under constant threat of being swallowed up by the ocean.
This has already happened in the past. In 2001, a village submerged in the Cuba´s sea, was discovered 650 meters below the surface.
According to the NASA, currently, the levels of seawater are increasing at an alarming rate.
Maybe in a distant future, there could exist more than one Atlantis underwater.
The meeting point of the great white shark.
There is a point in the Pacific Ocean, called the "white shark cafe." Here is where the great white sharks gather.
It is a barren region, the marine equivalent of a desert.
In this region there is no prey that the sharks can hunt.
The most interesting part, is that sharks remain here for months.
But the mystery does not end here
In the zone, the sharks present a completely strange behavior.
Even though they are normally solitary animals, they concentrated in large number and remain near one another.
At first, it was supposed a mating ritual, but the mating act has never been seen, nor have they seen the birth of sharks.
Also young sharks, who are not old enough to mate, visit the area.
Definitely, this discovery is quite a mystery.
A drop of seawater, contains millions of bacteria and viruses.
Viruses abound in the ocean and have a significant effect over it's biology.
According to a new study, one millimeter of seawater can contain a million of bacteria and ten millions viruses.
However, most of them are harmless.
If we add to this the eight tons of trash thrown into the sea, the ocean is not a place as beautiful as it seems.
Noone knows the origin of the next sound.
The most mysterious sound recorded in the ocean is "The bloop"
However, it is related to a sound that many attribute to some earth tremors of ice underwater.
But unlike this one, there is an existing sound that no-one has been able to explain.
It is a sound nicknamed Julia.
The sound was sufficiently powerful to be detected by all the system stations that listen to the pacific equator.
The most terryfing thing about this, is that it is very similar to an underwater animal.

OAC: Conversation With Henry Alluty - Duration: 2:14.
Alright, hi! My name is Omoze Oyofo, I'm a Marketing Assistant for the University Student Commons and
Activities, and I was wondering if we could have a conversation today?
Of course.
Awesome, so, what's your name?
My name is Henry.
Henry, nice to meet you.
Nice to meet you too.
Is there anything you'd like to talk about today?
Um, yeah, i would like to actually talk about right here, where we are, Break Point.
So, Break Point is basically a student hangout where people come in between classes
to hang around, play video games, board games, watch T.V., or just, you know, eat and chill with friends.
So, it's a nice place, and a lot of people don't know about it. So, it's kind of weird
because sometimes when the freshmen come in here, they're surprised that this place exists.
Yeah.
So, you know, I would like to see more people come here because it's a great place.
Where can we find Break Point?
So Break Point is located in the Student Commons downstairs on the basement level
So you'd have to take the elevator downstairs
and you'll see us, there's a big sign showing where we are.
Okay, awesome, well thank you so much I really appreciate it.
It's my pleasure.
Have a good day!
You too.

Multiple sclerosis - causes, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, pathology - Duration: 11:16.
Multiple sclerosis is a demyelinating disease of the central nervous system, which includes
the brain and the spinal cord.
Myelin is the protective sheath that surrounds the axons of neurons, allowing them to quickly
send electrical impulses.
This myelin is produced by oligodendrocytes, which are a group of cells that support neurons.
In multiple sclerosis, demyelination happens when the immune system inappropriately attacks
and destroys the myelin, which makes communication between neurons break down, ultimately leading
to all sorts of sensory, motor, and cognitive problems.
Now, the brain, including the neurons in the brain, is protected by things in the blood
by the blood brain barrier, which only lets certain molecules and cells through from the
blood.
For immune cells like T and B cells that means having the right ligand or surface molecule
to get through the blood brain barrier, this is kind of like having the a VIP pass to get
into an exclusive club.
Once a T cell makes its way in it can get activated by something it encounters - in
the case of multiple sclerosis, it's activated by myelin.
Once the T-cell gets activated, it changes the blood brain barrier cells to express more
receptors, and this allows immune cells to more easily bind and get in, it's kind of
like bribing the bouncer to let in a lot of people.
Now, multiple sclerosis is a type IV hypersensitivity reaction, or cell-mediated hypersensitivity.
And this means that those myelin specific T-cells release cytokines like IL-1, IL-6,
TNF-alpha, and interferon-gamma, and together dilate the blood vessels which allows more
immune cells to get in, as well as directly cause damage to the oligodendrocytes.
They cytokines also attract B-cells and macrophages as part of the inflammatory reaction.
Those B-cells begin to make antibodies that mark the myelin sheath proteins, and then
the macrophages use those antibody markers to engulf and destroy the oligodendrocytes.
Without oligodendrocytes, there's no myelin to cover the neurons, and this leaves behind
areas of scar tissue, also called plaques or sclera.
In multiple sclerosis, these immune attacks typically happen in bouts.
In other words, an autoimmune attack on the oligodendrocytes might happen, and then regulatory
T cells will come in to inhibit or calm down the other immune cells, leading to a reduction
in the inflammation.
Early on in multiple sclerosis, the oligodendrocytes will heal and extend out new myelin to cover
the neurons, which is a process called remyelination.
Unfortunately, though, over time as the oligodendrocytes die off the remyelination stops and the damage
becomes irreversible with the loss of axons.
Just like other autoimmune diseases, the exact cause of multiple sclerosis is unknown, but
is linked to both genetic and environmental factors.
Genetic risk factors include being a woman and having genes that encode a specific type
of immune molecule called HLA-DR2 which is used to identify and bind to foreign molecules.
Environmental risk factors might include infections as well as vitamin D deficiency, which is
an interesting one because it might help explain why the rates of multiple sclerosis are higher
at the northern and southern poles compared to the equator where there's a lot more
sunlight.
Together these genetic and environmental influences might lead to the body not killing off immune
cells that target myelin.
So it turns out that there are four main types of multiple sclerosis based on the pattern
of symptoms over time.
To break this down, we can use this graph with time on the x-axis, where time refers
to the lifespan of the individual, and disability on the y-axis.
The first, and by far the most common pattern of multiple sclerosis, is called relapsing-remitting
multiple sclerosis or RRMS.
This condition is what we just described, bouts of autoimmune attacks happening months,
or even years, apart, and causing an increase in the level of disability.
For example, during a bout a person may lose some vision, but then it may be followed by
improvement if there's remyelination.
Unfortunately, though, more often than not, the remyelination process is not complete
so there is often some residual disability that remains, and that means that with each
attack, more and more of the central nervous system gets irreversibly damaged.
In the relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis type there's typically no increase in disability
between bouts, so the line stays flat during that time.
Now, the second type is called secondary progressive multiple sclerosis or SPMS which initially
is pretty similar to the relapse-remitting type, but over time the immune attack becomes
constant which causes a steady progression of disability.
The third type is primary-progressive multiple sclerosis or PPMS, which is basically one
constant attack on myelin which causes a steady progression of disability over a person's
lifetime.
The final type is progressive relapsing multiple sclerosis or PRMS, which is also one constant
attack but this time there are bouts superimposed during which the disability increases even
faster.
Specific symptoms varying a lot from person to person, and largely depend on the location
of the plaques.
And multiple sclerosis typically affects individuals between the ages of 20 and 40.
Symptoms related to bouts can typically worsen over weeks and can linger for months without
treatment.
One common trio of multiple sclerosis symptoms is called Charcot's neurologic triad and
it includes dysarthria, which is difficulty or unclear speech, nystagmus, which is involuntary
rapid eye movements, and an intention tremor.
Dysarthria is due to plaques in the brainstem that affect nerve fibers that control muscles
of the mouth and throat, and this can interfere with conscious movements, like eating and
talking and can lead to things like a new stutter, as well as unconscious movements,
like swallowing.
Nystagmus is due to plaques around the nerves controlling eye movements.
Plaques around the optic nerve causes loss of vision in one or both of the eyes because
of damage to the optic nerve, which is called optic neuritis.
Sometimes there's blurring or graying of the vision, or alternatively there might be
a dark point in the center of vision.
Additionally, if there's damage to the nerves controlling eye movement, then eye movements
can be painful and there can even be double vision, if the eyes can no longer move in
a coordinated way.
Finally, intention tremors can be caused by plaques along the motor pathways in the spinal
cord which can affect outbound signals like skeletal muscle control.
Motor symptoms can include muscle weakness, muscle spasms, tremors, and ataxia, which
is a loss of balance and coordination.
In serious cases, this can lead to paralysis.
In addition, plaques in the sensory pathways can affect inbound signals like sensations
from the skin which causes symptoms like numbness, pins-and-needles, and paresthesias which are
often a tingling feeling but may also be a painful itching or burning sensation.
Occasionally there can be very specific sensory symptoms like Lhermitte's sign, which is
when an electric shock runs down the back and radiates to the limbs when a person bends
their neck forward.
Plaques can also involve the autonomic nervous system which can lead to bowel and bladder
symptoms like constipation and urinary incontinence, as well as sexual symptoms like sexual dysfunction.
Finally, multiple sclerosis can also affect higher order activities of the brain, causing
poor concentration and critical thinking, as well as depression and anxiety.
Multiple sclerosis is typically suspected when there are multiple neurologic symptoms
separated in space, which is attributable to damage in different locations in the nervous
system, as well as time, meaning separate bouts or flare-ups as well as remission.
The diagnosis of multiple sclerosis is supported by an MRI which shows multiple central nervous
system lesions, called white matter plaques, since these regions tend to have lots of myelin.
Also, in the cerebrospinal fluid there might be high levels of antibodies, which indicates
an autoimmune process.
Finally a visual evoked potential can be helpful as well, which measures the nervous system's
response to visual stimuli.
For treatment, there is no cure for multiple sclerosis, but there are medications which
are particularly effective for the relapsing-remitting type because they lessen the severity of relapses
and make them happen less frequently.
Medications like corticosteroids, cyclophosphamide which is a cell cycle inhibitor, and intravenous
immunoglobulin can all be used to help blunt the autoimmune process.
In addition, plasmapheresis can be effective as well, which is when the plasma is filtered
to remove disease-causing autoantibodies.
Chronic treatment for multiple sclerosis includes immunosuppressants like recombinant beta-IFN
which decreases the level of inflammatory cytokines in the brain and increases the function
of T regulatory cells.
Other immunosuppressants actually block T cells from getting into the brain by interfering
with their cell surface molecules they use to gain passage through the blood brain barrier.
Unfortunately, though, there are fewer treatment options available for the progressive MS.
Instead, treatments are often targeted at managing specific symptoms—everything ranging
from depression to bladder dysfunction.
Physical therapy and cognitive rehabilitation therapy can be particularly helpful with sensory,
motor, and cognitive symptoms.
Finally, there's also an increasing interest in the role of vitamin D as an effective treatment.
All right, as a quick recap, multiple sclerosis is a chronic and progressive autoimmune disorder,
and the most common pattern is the relapsing-remitting type, where individuals have flares that come
and go, with each one slightly worsening their overall condition.
During a flare, T-cells cause inflammation and damage to oligodendrocytes in the central
nervous system, which leaves behind scarred areas of demyelinated neurons called plaques,
which causes a variety of symptoms depending on the location.

DIY Bottle Opener Pyrography Project - Blood, Sweat & Beers - Duration: 5:11.
What's happening guys, welcome back to the workshop.
It's been a very successful and busy week here at Zebrano HQ, and I thought I'd top
the week off by proposing a toast to all of you, my customers and followers.
We all know there's no better way to propose a toast than having a couple f frothy ones
with the boys!
(Look at me Mr fancy with the bottle of Peroni!).
So in order to get this party started I decided to make this bottle opener that says "Blood,
Sweat & Beers".
I made this project with a few simple tools & materials including: this "Bar Blade"
bottle opener (bar blade); my trusty pyrography tool; some Serious Glue; and a load of old
wood veneers.
I've included links to the tools and materials I used to make this bottle opener in the description
so go and check those out.
If you also like this swanky pyrography design then you can purchase it from my Etsy shop,
download it instantly and use it in your own projects!
Without further a do, let's have us a party!
To begin the project I glued up a few pieces of wood veneer using the serious glue.
Each piece was roughly 80mm x 40mm.
I made a lamination for both sides of the bottle opener using Maple and Walnut and after
gluing all the pieces of veneer together I clamped them up and left the glue to cure.
Then I trimmed each piece on the bandsaw so the edges were perfectly flat and sanded the
faces and edges with a few grits of sandpaper.
I once again used the Serious Glue to stick the pieces of wood to the bottle opener.
I just applied a generous amount of glue to the wood, smeared it all in with a brush and
then clamped it down between two pieces of wood to ensure an even amount of pressure
was applied.
Time for the boring bits.
This is how I transferred my design to the wood and for this stage I need to show you
how I used technology.
This is a free image editing software called GIMP.
All I did was open a new project, ensuring the resolution was set to 300dpi for good
quality.
Then I changed the dimensions of my canvas to 40 x 80mm.
With my canvas set up I opened up my "Blood, Sweat & Beers" artwork in .png format so
it was just a line drawing.
Then I copy and pasted this into my 40x80mm canvas and resized it until it was a good
fit.
I printed the artwork, cut it out and taped it to a piece of carbon copy paper.
Then I taped my paper to the bottle opener and began transferring the design.
To do this I simply traced over all the lines with a pencil which left a magical blue imprint
on the wood.
And that is one way to transfer a pyrography design to wood!
Let me introduce you to the Burny Star, my pyrography tool.
The reason I like this tool is that it has a variable temperature gage so you can choose
what temperature you want to use and it has a really nice ergonomic grip (it comes with
a couple of nice tips too).
That's what I would recommend, if you're going to get a pyrography tool then get one with
variable tempetatures, it just allows you to do more professional work.
Speaking of professionals at work, here's me burning some lines like a boss.
This is sped up quite a bit but I just traced over all of the lines carefully and slowly
until I had a nice outline of the design.
Next I did a bit of shading by turning the temperature down on the tool and picking out
a few details like where the scroll over lapped, the beer inside the bottle and a few shadows
here and there.
These darker bits really brought the design to life and here's how the finished artwork
looked.
To finish up I applied a few layers of oil and this really made the grain pop!
So that brings me to the end of the project and honestly I'm not even sure if I like this
one that much!
It's not perfect by any means, it definitely has a few mistakes but I guess that just adds
to it's endearing "handmadeness".
It's no oil painting but it facilitates me indulging my drinking passion.
As always thank you for watching, check out those pyrography designs on Etsy, check out
the links to the gear on Ebay, and PARTY HARD BRO!

NASA astronaut 'saw bodies of DEAD ALIENS' in sensational Roswell revelation - tech and science - Duration: 3:18.
NASA astronaut 'saw bodies of DEAD ALIENS' in sensational Roswell revelation
A NASA astronaut claimed he saw the corpses of aliens following the alleged crash of a
UFO at Roswell.
Lt Col Ellison Onizuka, who was killed in the 1986 Challenger space shuttle explosion,
reportedly told his colleague Clark C McClelland that he'd seen footage of the dead extraterrestrials.
McClelland a former operator if the NASA space shuttle fleet made the stunning
revelation in an article he wrote named, Alien Disclosure from an Astronaut.
The infamous Roswell occurrence refers to an incident in 1947 where ufologists claim
a spaceship crashed into a field in New Mexico.
The US military has always denied the claims, saying the object was a weather balloon.
However, over the years multiple witnesses have come forward to say they saw the remains
of aliens in the "spaceship" wreckage.
McClelland claims he was surprised when his colleague asked about his opinion on the existence
of aliens.
He wrote: (Mr Onizuka) had a surprising experience along with other US Air Force (USAF)
aerospace flight engineers and pilots while on military training duty at McClellan air
force base, about eight or nine years prior to his astronaut training.
"He and this group were at this base for specialised training when they were directed to report
to a viewing room.
"As they were seated, the room darkened and a movie began without the usual official introduction
by a USAF officer.
Lt Col Onizuka apparently told him he was shocked when the film "began to show what
appeared to be some sort of medical examination room with small bodies laying on some sort
of table or slab".
He added: "The small, strange looking creatures were humanoid in shape and appeared similar
to those described by alleged witnesses at the well-known Roswell site in the Southwest
USA in 1947.
"They all had large heads, large eyes, slight torsos, arms, and legs.
They did not appear to be of earthly origin.
McClelland said his NASA colleague then speculated that the footage was shown to them by bosses
as a test to see how they would react if one of them actually saw an alien.
The two men reportedly agreed to discuss the incident later but before they could, Lt Col
Onizuka died in the infamous Challenger explosion.
McClelland is known to be a dedicated believer in aliens.
He once claimed to have seen a nine-foot extraterrestrial in the bay of a space shuttle and also a flying
saucer.
Rumours of dead aliens at Roswell have surfaced before.
In 2015, photos of what was claimed were extraterrestrial corpses were released.

Galactic Lobes - Duration: 1:24.
Using data from NASA's Fermi Gamma-Ray Space Telescope, scientists have recently discovered
a gigantic, mysterious structure in our galaxy.
This never-before-seen feature looks like a pair of bubbles extending above and below
our galaxy's center.
These enormous, gamma-ray emitting lobes aren't immediately visible in the Fermi all-sky map,
however, by processing the data, a group of scientists able to bring these unexpected
structures into sharp relief.
Each lobe is 25,000 light-years tall, and the whole structure may be only a few million
years old.
Within the bubbles extremely energetic electrons are interacting with lower-energy light to
create gamma rays, but right now no one knows the source of these electrons.
Are the bubbles remnants of a massive burst of star formation?
Leftovers from an eruption by the supermassive black hole at our galaxy's center?
Or did these forces work in tandem to produce them?
Scientists aren't sure yet but the more they learn about this amazing structure, the better
we'll understand the Milky Way.

There's a great deal of satisfaction in now being able to look back and saying
you really did put those things together in ways that benefitted:
the scientific generation of new knowledge;
the education of students;
and thousands of adolescent kids. Lives seem to be better.

US Leaders discuss possibility of India becoming America's Partner in World Domination - Duration: 3:53.
The possibility of India becoming America's partner in the 21st century world order was
discussed by top Senators, diplomats and security leaders who feel that the US faces challenges
to its global dominance.
Testifying before a Congressional committee, ex-national security advisor Stephen Headley
felt that such a partnership between the world's largest and oldest democracy is possible;
while former secretary of state Madeline Albright said it is worth exploring as the US at this
point of time does not want to run the world on its own and would prefer partners.
"India certainly would be the world's largest democracy, would be one that you would
think would join some sort in order that the US would be the leader of or be a significant
impact on it.
Can we do that?
We did it once with the Soviets," Congressman Mike Conway asked during a hearing on America's
Role in the World convened by the House Armed Services Committee.
"Can we do it again with having both the Chinese and the Russians out there, versus
what the rest of the world would be trying to do?"
Conway asked Headley and Albright, both of whom testified before the key Congressional
committee.
"I think China we can still bring into a revitalized order and I think very much India,
we can do so.
So I'm hopeful that we can pull this off but it is a challenge," Headley said in
response.
"I think Madeleine would agree the current conception of the international order is not
sustainable, that's why we say it needs to be revised and revitalized.
We may have made huge investments in helping Europe, Japan, South Korea emerge to be the
healthy, prosperous societies they are.
We helped China integrate into the international system.
We have seen the growth of India," he said.
"These countries need to be given a greater role to play in the international system.
But that, of course, comes with some responsibilities and part of that responsibility is not only
responsible action and constructive action, but also to foot some of the bill," he said,
adding that there has to be a readjustment and a rebalancing, a look at division of labor
and division of responsibilities.
"But if we step out from that process and do not lead it, an international order that
will emerge in the traditional way, which is it will benefit the big powers like Russia
and China at the expense of the little powers," Headley warned.
Albright that Russians believe that the post Cold War they have not been treated and respected
well by America.
The Chinese, themselves, never felt that they were part of the post World War II order,
she said.
"I do think that the way the world is, the United States doesn't want to run the world.
We prefer to have partners in it.
And so as an academic, I think it would be kind of on track to begin to think about some
different world order here where we ask the others to be participants in creating it.
At the moment, we are not in that position," Albright said.
"We are deterring Russia and we are trying to figure out what China's role is as they
now that they are more liberal capitalistic and are moving into a vacuum that we have
left," Albright said.

Goldberg Post Wrestlemania WWE Status! WWE Offer Matt & Jeff Hardy Contracts! | WrestleTalk News - Duration: 4:44.
Hello and welcome to the WrestleTalk News!
I'm Oli Davis, and I'll be replying to as many comments on this video as I can.
The President of the United States right now is a WWE Hall of Famer.
The head of the government's Small Business Administration is the wife of Vince McMahon.
We live in interesting times.
But four time WWE Raw Women's Champion Charlotte as the Secretary of Defence is a step too
far.
Of course, Charlotte isn't really in charge of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy and Air Force.
She took the photo when visiting the Pentagon last night with Linda and Stephanie McMahon.
That's the five sided headquarters of the US' Department of Defence Pentagon - not
the Lucha Underground wrestler Pentagon.
Yes, I did only include this story to make that joke.
In actual noteworthy news, Pro Wrestling Sheet are reporting that WWE have officially offered
new contracts to both Matt and Jeff Hardy, and "all signs point to an inevitable return."
Last month, just days before TNA Impact Wrestling's first set of TV tapings under the new creative
direction of Jeff Jarrett, the Hardy Boys announced they were leaving the promotion,
feeling disrespected when contract negotiations broke down.
Pro Wrestling Sheet were first to report back then that the Hardys were in talks with WWE,
but that very weekend, both Matt and Jeff appeared at a Ring of Honor show, and won
the Tag Team Championships.
It seemed as though the potential WWE return wasn't happening, but it's since come
out The Hardys' ROH deal is only a short-term contract.
An imminent WWE return is very much possible.
But there's a catch.
Just hours before their first title defence at ROH's excellent 15th Anniversary Show,
TNA owners Anthem Sports & Entertainment sent cease and desist letters about Matt and Jeff
using the 'Broken Hardys' gimmick.
Anthem claim to own the intellectual rights to the characters, and a bitter legal battle
has ensued between the two sides.
Matt recently broke his silence over the dispute: "My Soldiers have been loyal & supportive
throughout my existence.
Thank you.
They know the truth--That the #BROKEN Universe is my PROPERTY."
There's no word yet on whether WWE would let Matt and Jeff portray their 'Broken'
characters, something which seems increasingly less likely with the legal struggle over who
owns the gimmick.
The Hardys are defending the ROH tag team championships against the Young Bucks at next
Saturday's Supercard of Honor show in Lakeland, Florida - an hour away from where Wrestlemania
is taking place the following night.
This week's episode of Raw dropped almost 200,000 viewers from last week, ending with
an average of 3.048 million - a very disappointing sign considering it's the penultimate episode
before their biggest show of the year.
And it didn't fare well in your ratings either, as a whopping 49% of you voted the
episode at Poor, while 34% agreed with me at AvRAWge.
At least we have Smackdown Live, which thanks to everybody who's donated to WrestleTalk's
Patreon to reach our first goal, I will now be making weekly review videos of - the first
of which is up on this very channel right now.
Our latest Patreon shout outs go to Donut Senpai, Allan 'The Valentine' Ackles,
Maureen Pierce You Through The Heart and The Boss Sasha Carcerano.
Speaking of Raw, next Monday's episode will see Goldberg's current contract's penultimate
date - with the final appearance being defending his Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar
at Wrestlemania 33.
SportsKeeda are reporting that match is no longer the show's main event, going by their
source ex-WWE writer Brian Maxwell Mann, and that it'll be replaced by Undertaker vs
Roman Reigns.
That is just a rumour for now, as SportsKeeda haven't been very reliable in the past.
The significantly more trustworthy Wrestling Observer Newsletter, however, is looking ahead
to after Wrestlemania, and what the future holds for Goldberg in WWE.
"Goldberg's contract expires at WrestleMania but the run was considered a success and the
door is open to use him for big shows in the future."
Also, the current plan is for Lesnar to "do more shows from this point forward," following
his retirement from the UFC.
Watch my review of this week's fantastic episode of Smackdown Live and find out how
WWE will be handling Paige and Xavier Woods' leaked sex tape by clicking the videos to
the left and press subscribe.
I've been Oli Davis, and that was wrestling.
