talk back Q&A with Miss Lauren Lillian
who plays the wonderful Sophia, Sophia
on Compersion!
So welcome, Lauren! Thank You , Jackie thank you
for having me. Thank you for coming!
So tell me Lauren
when you when I first approached you
about a role in Compersion
what made you decide to...Didn't I audition?
You didn't audition. What did I audition for?
I didn't get that job.I totally audition for this.
You don't remember.
I auditioned for this, because Crystal
was your reader and she had
like one of you guys have like a ball
gown.i have been trying by she
loves should i have been trying to work
with a woman for like twenty nine
thousand years. So you know she's not
telling the truth because we weren't even alive 29000 years ago.
Yes we were. Well, she was.I wasn't.

What was the most challenging thing working on
Compersion?
You know, I will say it was my first time
working with Jackie, my first time
working with a lot of people and while I
had known them ... Bruce, Jammie I knew
all these people before.
I didn't know Derek , but because I knew them
as friends you have to kind of
cross this professional line with
them and so that was interesting and you
always kind of wonder how that's going
to be. Is that gonna work out? And yeah it
worked out well I wouldn't necessarily
challenging but that something
something I thought about.
Yeah it was a good time, and it was
fun, I had fun on her set.
We had a good time. I had a good time
I don't know about everybody else. What was your favorite scene?
I think the hike scene...
it was fun and it was very like you know we just
we were able to take our time with it
really like figure it was nice to let me
someone and figure someone out.
Discover so many things to
discover and that scene. It was fun.
It wasthat energy of trying
to being hurt and trying to figure that
out and then be like who is that man
that just helped me. it's just
interesting. Everything, every scene
everything is it i learned something new
& we did it differently from rehearsal.
Just discover new things and there
were a new times which I would notice
him or something he would say we're
making go
"ahhh, I like him." What are your views on polyamory? I think
polyamory is absolutely fine. I think it
works for some people.
I think you know we don't know what to
do with society tells we need to do and
you know, I know some people who tried
it and more experienced people try and
doesn't bark so it's just a matter of I
think clear communication.
Stay out of grown folks business, that's what I also know.
It's really a simple answer. How was working with Jammie?
I was kind of nervous working
with some Jammie, because I've known Jammie's
work for awhile & watched her and i was
like oh gosh I have to like have to
come bring it and then that scene we shot
so quickly and almost like wait, I didn't
really get it
I don't get to do my full
I didn't.. we shot it so quickly.
I don't know if we even did two takes.
We did coverage on that.
It felt like we started it and it was just done.
You were nervous, because
Jammie's strong actor
& you weren't sure if you could ...
Well I have known her and I'm known her work and
I mean we we did work together
but again that was like more with a
smaller piece so you know that was that
scenes was very you know as you know
climactic. "Right, because I'm your mistress."
"Cause you're married so technically on your mistress."
"okay you're right ok you're right, hi
Wife, I'm your husband mistress." yeah but I
have fun i really enjoyed it. I think the
the story and just sort of I loved
what would you say the everything that
was happening just made a really fun and
interesting role to play with with with
them so I'm you know
it's nice. When your character was first
introduced in the park your character at
such a ...fanbase? People loved me!
Oh yeah! They were like this
amazing girl
Yes they're like oh she's absolutely
amazing. It's so interesting to see how
if you read the comments.I didn't. I read
some of them that Jackie would say so
this person hates you,
this person hates you too. This person
thinks you're young ass bitch, this person
thinks your a yellow ass bitch.
No one said "yellow ass."
young, you're too young.
And no one said.. B... I..T.. C... H
either our audience refined and dignified.
i'm ok actually prefer to play someone
that's not likeable. I prefer to
play someone that's a little bit more
interesting. I will just use that word.
I'm okay with everything Sophia did. I don't
feel bad for any of it.
I don't really see think there's
anything wrong with any of it.
