Youtube daily report Mar 6 2017

North Korea fired off more missiles earlier today.

We are awaiting confirmation on what kind of missiles they were,... but we know they

flew hundreds of kilometers before coming down in the East Sea.

Our defense correspondent Kim Hyun-bin joins us today.

Hyun-bin I understand the significance lies in the number at this point.

The South Korean military says North Korea fired off four ballistic missiles this morning.

Experts say It is unprecedented for North Korea to fire four missiles at the same time.

"North Korea fired four ballistic missiles into the East Sea from its Tongchang-ri missile

site at 7:36 a.m. on Monday.

The missiles flew around one-thousand kilometers at an altitude of 260 kilometers.

Seoul and Washington are currently analyzing the launch."

A defense ministry official says that the missiles could be a mixture of mid-range Rodong

missiles... and Pukguksong-2 missiles, which are an upgraded version of the North's intermediate-range

Musudan ballistic missile.

Japan announced that three of the four missiles fell in its exclusive economic zone,... and

one came within 250 kilometers of Japanese land.

The South Korean military has condemned the launch.

It says it's on high alert and maintaining readiness for additional provocations.

"North Korea has launched another ballistic missile following the launch last month.

This is a clear violation of UN Security Council resolutions and an attack on the peace and

stability of South Korea and the international community."

Last Friday, the North had threatened to launch more missiles in response to the annual Key

Resolve and Foal Eagle drills between Seoul and Washington.

The large-scale field training drills called Foal Eagle has started two days before on

Wednesday... and the command post exercise Key Resolve will start next week.

It's common for North Korea to fire missiles during the drills, which are set to continue

through April, and experts expect the North to launch several more missiles through then.

This latest act is expected to solidify Seoul and Washington's commitment to deploying the

U.S. missile defense system THAAD.

This issue is becoming quite a controversy here in South Korea, with Beijing slapping

economic restrictions on South Korean products sold in China.

So why is the planned deployment causing such a fuss... and what are the pros and cons of

the defense upgrade?

South Korea and the U.S. confirmed early last year that they will bring THAAD to the peninsula.

They reached their decision after North Korea conducted its fifth nuclear test and launched

an intercontinental ballistic missile.

To get a better idea of THAAD's capabilities, let's take a look at this chart.

You can see Pyongyang has a range of missiles -- from its tactical Scud missiles, to its

intermediate-range Musudan ballistic missiles... and ICBM's.

They are also working to perfect submarine-launched ballistic missiles, creating another level

of threat since detecting an SLBM is very difficult.

During a war,... it's thought that the Scud series missiles, with a range of up to 500

kilometers, would be used to target key military facilities in the South.

Rodong missiles, which have a range of up to 15-hundred kilometers, would likely target

the U.S. base in Okinawa, Japan.

The troops there are the first U.S. troops that would be deployed in a time of crisis

on the peninsula.

The Musudan, which has a range of three thousand kilometers, is capable of reaching the U.S.

territory of Guam... and the Dapodong ICBM is able to reach the west coast of the United

States.

So with the deployment of the THAAD system, Seoul and Washington would be better able

to intercept some of these missiles when fired upon.

Before the THAAD announcement...

Seoul's defense ministry said it would pursue its own missile defense system known as Korea

Air and Missile Defense.

Officials say both systems are necessary.

Could you walk us through some of the similarities and differences?

Sure.

First, the two systems have different purposes.

The Korea Air and Missile Defense system mostly uses Patriot two and Patriot three missiles.

Both are part of a low-tier missile defense system and have an altitude range of around

15 kilometers.

THAAD is a mid-tier missile defense system able to intercept a missile from an altitude

of 150 kilometers.

So technically it gives Korea another layer of missile defense.

If THAAD misses the enemy missile, Seoul will have another chance to intercept the missile

with its low-tier Patriot missiles.

Given all of that, one expert has pointed to the potential goal of this latest launch.

"There is a possibility that North Korea fired the four missiles at once to neutralize THAAD.

However all four missiles are within THAAD's interception range so it doesn't have what

it takes to neutralize the system."

Now, we know that China is strongly opposed to the THAAD system.

What is the primary source of its objections?

Let's hear what an expert has to say

"The biggest problem is that the U.S. will be in charge of THAAD.

China is suspicious that the system could be used against them instead of North Korea."

THAAD is equipped with a X-band radar that has a detection radius of two thousand kilometers,

which, when deployed to South Korea, would make it possible to detect most of China's

key facilities.

Thank you Hyun-bin.

That was our defense correspondent Kim Hyun-bin, talking about North Korea's latest missile

launch and the issues surrounding the deployment to South Korea of the THAAD missile defense

system.

S. Korea condemns N. Korea's missile launch, vows stronger U.S. deterrence against N. Korea - Duration: 2:14.

South Korea's Acting President Hwang Kyo-ahn convened an emergency meeting of the National

Security Council at the presidential office, swiftly following the missile launch.

Song Ji-sun shares with us the official government reaction.

At the National Security Council meeting, South Korea's Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn

condemned North Korea's missile launches as a direct challenge and grave provocation to

the international community.

The acting president said North Korea's missile provocations are an imminent and existing

threat against the security and lives of the South Korean people.

The acting president also ordered the maintenance of a robust defense readiness in close alliance

with the U.S., and to deter additional provocations through the joint South Korea-U.S. military

drills that are currently being held.

"In addition to deploying the U.S. missile defense system THAAD in South Korea to defend

against North Korea's nuclear missiles, we must seek practical measures to reinforce

the U.S. deterrent against North Korea."

Hwang recently convened a National Security Council meeting after the murder of Kim Jong-nam

-- but this was the first time the acting president has chaired the meeting at the so-called

"underground bunker" of Cheong Wa Dae since he assumed the duty in place of suspended

President Park Geun-hye.

"Given the regime's brutality and recklessness, as seen in its murder of Kim Jong-nam, it's

hard to imagine what will result from North Korea's obsession with nuclear weapons."

Hwang pledged to focus Seoul's diplomatic efforts so that international sanctions are

practically and strongly implemented on North Korea.

National Security Council chief Kim Kwan-jin also spoke with his U.S. counterpart H.R.

McMaster on the phone... to beef up cooperation in pressuring the North.

More Guitar Chords - Lesson #8 Beginner Guitar for Grownups - Duration: 5:32.

More Guitar Chords 8

Hi there, welcome back for Lesson #8 the Beginner Guitar 101 for Grownups. Were gonna teach

you two more chords. And since youve been practicing the D chords, I hope youve been

practicing the D chord a little bit. Were gonna use that same approach to learning these

next two chords.

Were gonna start from the D chord so major D chord thats the first finger second fret

third string, second finger first string second fret both on the second fret and then the

third finger over here on the third fret. By the way, sometimes your hand will kinda

turn this way, thats okay but try the best you can to get your hand so its kinda hanging

up perpendicular to the guitar. Kinda (0:44) with the ground just as close as you can.

The idea is to relax so its just not enough pressure to hold the chord there but no more

if you let go a little bit your hand just fall, that just takes practice by the way.

Most people put more tension in the beginning than they need to. And little by little, you

learn to lighten up by adjusting your hand just right. So you got the D chord now, right?

Good. Check it out. Okay. No matter how it sounds (1:08) thats okay.

From the D chord, I want you to put the pinky down on the first string third fret. This

is the first string and this is the third fret right next to the third finger so normally

the pinky is gonna weak but when you put it next to the third finger, it kinda give some

support.

Your next move is to move the second over to the fifth string third fret, thats the

third fret and the first finger over to the fourth string second fret thats your entire

chord. Technically its called the Cadd9 or you can call it a Cadd2, its one and the same.

Lets try it again.

Take your fingers off, shake it a second, back to the D chord. Put your pinky down,

move the second finger over to the fifth string. On the first finger just one over there to

the fourth string, just going one string the same fret, second fret. Now lets try it

and see how it sounds. Huh, beautiful chord. What? You didnt sound like that? Dont

worry. Believe me, hardly anybody got it when they first tried it. Maybe something like

that. Try it again.

D pinky down all along now, second and first finger I am moving both, thats where you

wanna get to. Dont worry if youre not there yet and then try it. So practice the D going

to the C add 9. Ill stay there for now and then go back. And I know, its gonna sound

more like this at first. Most everybody thats what happens. Thats what youre aiming at.

Now one more chord. Next to this one is easy. Its kinda just a small change. So you wanna

work on. First I will just go from D to C add 9 and again, dont worry about getting

perfect just practice a little bit each day.

Next were gonna move this two fingers over. I should do it both at once over to the fifth

and sixth strings. So right now, we will do one figure at a time just to make sure you

got it. Take this second finger over to the third fret sixth string, thats right there.

You see that? And then the first finger over one string to the fifth string second fret.

They stay on the same frets just moving lower. Believe it or not thats lower one string,

thats a G chord by the way.

So again, C add 9 move the second finger over third fret, first finger over second fret.

Im on now the sixth string fifth string and Ive got my pinky down the first and

my third finger down the second string so practice that. Practice is just going from

the C add 9 and try to get to where you can move both fingers over at once. Sounds good,

huh. So heres where youre headed.

The D chord, put your pinky down. Move these two fingers over to the fifth string and the

fourth string. Then move the two fingers over to the sixth string and fifth string and back

to the D and take the pinky off, thats the full motion. Okay, weve got some work

cut out for you but its gonna sound great. Be patient a little bit each day. I look forward

to seeing you in the next lesson. Ill give you some tips on how to add some strumming

to that.

Backstage Hans Liberg "Tralalala voor iedereen" / DeLaMar Theater Amsterdam - Duration: 4:31.

Hi, it's Ralph. We're in Amsterdam and I'm here together with my light engineer Bart.

We are at the DeLaMar theater and we're allowed to go backstage, so follow me.

Those are some really heavy weight doors.

First entering the backstage area you'll find the doorman.

He'll take care that only authorised people enter. Today we're in luck cause we happen to be authorised.

Hello mister doorman.

Follow me

Allright, first stop the greenroom.

The greenroom is a special place.

In here we chill and have our diners

Multiple crews are gathering here

That's my favourite relax area.

Next stop: the dressing rooms

Allright arrived.

If you take a look back at the hallway, you'll see that behind every door there's a dressing room.

Because these two rooms are close to the stage we are changing in here.

Hans Liberg's dressing room is there

And this here is my place.

Welcome to my personal dressing room

In here I will dress, watch some tv while sitting on the sofa and relax.

And close before showtime I'll change, put my make up on. Drink a soda...

Humm I think it's time to change, don't you think Bart?

Great Idea!

Okay see you in a bit.

Ralph! Ready?

Hi! I'm ready. Will you keep the door open?

Here take a look.

A new special Polo-shirt, white jeans and red shoes.

Shall we go on stage? Good Idea Bart?

Sound good!

Cause take a look at the tv.

The stage is ready for us, so I suggest we get to it.

Next stop, the side stage.

Normally it's much darker in here but we placed some lamps for the video.

5 minutes before showtime, this is the place where we are.

The instruments are ready. We are ready.

But sometimes we like to take a little peak at the audience.

And when the que has been given we go on stage.

On stage is time for: Showtime!

And now the final question: Bart where do you sit?

That's my place

Hey Bob give us a wave!

TITA REVEALS HER FLUFFY 80's HAIR || Tita Lily and Her Son: HAIR - Duration: 2:12.

I like how your hair catches the light.

'Yan, oh. Look, it's glowing.

Do you shampoo your hair everyday?

- Yeah. - You do?

Diba bad 'yun?

Yeah, but it feels --

Maybe that's why you're balding.

Basta, I remember,

during college graduation,

it's super duper fluffy.

Diba uso nung time niyo yung triangle hair

'tsaka yung Beatles na hair?

Hello?

That's not my generation.

As in kaninong generation 'yun? Kanila Grandma?

Yeah.

I have thick hair during my younger days.

Hagrid hair.

Thick and it's so wavy. Super cotton candy.

And then, they invented hair straightening.

My hair has evolved a lot through time.

Yeah, I remember during your college graduation,

you insisted that you wanted

- grey hair. - Silver hair.

After that, it's green, blue --

Pink, purple.

I would just put food coloring in my conditioner,

put it on my hair for two hours,

and the next thing you know, my hair is a different color.

Just recently, I found out there are already grey hairs.

Little baby grey hairs?

If this video gets one million views,

- you should dye your hair -- - Grey?

This is the part of the show where I want to graphic animate wigs onto our hair.

So, go. Model your hair.

I'm gonna put like a long blonde wig.

I remember when Ate Cal took an ID picture,

sobrang gulo ng hair niya,

And that was the time na andaming daga sa house natin, so you --

Don't say that.

So you said na 'pag may rat,

ipapakita lang yung ID ni Ate Cal,

and the rat would go away.

Hair coming out of your nose.

Ewwwww.

I used to have a teacher who had hair coming out of his nose

and ears, ewwwwww.

Paano kaya 'yun tinatanggal, 'no?

Winawax kaya 'yun?

*Wax*

And then, there's like a strip with hair on it

from your ears.

Wash your hair everyday.

Ooooh no, wait, huh, hmmm.

That's an interesting debate.

I did not say to shampoo your hair everyday.

Okay, okay.

First Guitar Chords - Lesson #7 Beginner Guitar for Grownups - Duration: 7:01.

Your First Guitar Chord

This is Beginner 101 For Grownups and in this lesson, Lesson 7 Im gonna teach you your

First Guitar Chord. Now songs are built of chords so chords are very important. This

first one is a good building block to learn but were gonna use it as a way to learn other

chords. In other words, the same techniques and tips that I give you will apply to the

next few chords that I teach you so lets get started.

Take a look at my left hand. Now remember were gonna need to know the numbers of the

frets and the numbers of the strings. I refer to the strings by numbers in this case. To

start off, youre gonna place your first finger on the third string second fret. Did

you catch that? Okay, third string so were starting from the first, second, third string

and then you put your finger over here on the second fret thats 1 2, right there.

Now lets say put your finger, thats on the second fret. I mean just behind the

fret so the fret is right here and Im just behind it. Too far back and then itll just

take too much pressure to make the string sound any more (1:13) probably buzz. And of

course if you go on top of the fret, its gonna mute out. Its gonna deaden the sound

so youre going just behind the fret.

By the way, Im putting my finger not quite on the very tip but closed to the tip probably

just above there. The other thing to watch for is that I angled my finger up and then

back down. Stay away from trying to put your finger too straight. Its too hard to get leverage

that way. You cant really press down hard without a lot of strenght. This way its sort

of like my fulcram between my thumb and my finger. Its easy to put a lot of pressure

there without having to strain myself. So again, second fret third string now were going

for this second finger first string second fret, second finger first string second fret.

So this is the first string and thats the second fret 1 2 and now we have one more finger

to put down. The third finger, theyre sore take it about for a second leaving your

finger especially with metal string gets a little sore, theres no way out. Try it

again. First finger second fret third string, second finger first string second fret, and

now were gonna put my third finger down, third finger on the third fret thats this one

1 2 3 on the second string so its 1 2 second string, there. Again, my fingers

are angled up and down. Theyre making a nice curve.

Im putting my thumb behind the guitar neck and I turn it over (2:58). Did you see it

there? Its not buckled like that but more like that. Kinda hard to do backwards. Some

people put their thumb around there like that. Its not wrong and I would never especially

try to change experienced musician and since some famous artists play this way.

But I think if youre learning from the beginning, its a habit that will help you

in the future to have your thumb behind the neck. Once you played like this, its hard

to break the habit but if youre just starting out, put your thumb behind the neck. Its

easier to get pressure between the fingers and the thumb this way. And also when you

go to make more elaborate chords like bar chords, youre gonna need your thumb back

here. Its really hard to make a bar chord with your hand like that.

Also if you do end up playing more like jazzy chords, you really gonna need to stretch.

You cant do it with your thumb up here. So take your fingers off and try it again.

First finger on the second fret, second finger on the second fret first string, third finger

on the second string third fret. Now heres the (4:07) , strike those three strings and

see how they sound. I did that on purpose cause thats often the way it sounds when

your starting out. Okay, make some adjustments and what your aiming for is this.

For the D chord, we are gonna aim for this first four strings and dont worry too much

if you hit the fifth or sixth. Its really not that important right now, just aim for

the four strings , top four strings. Remember the top is the highest string. Take your fingers

off, shake it down. Lets try it again.

First finger second fret. This is how you work on fingering second fret first string,

thats my second finger and then the third finger goes on the third fret second string,

get it? Yeah! Id know when I played it and then it sound right. The best you can.

Dont worry this takes time. Take your fingers off. Shake it. This is a good way to learn

a new chord. Put your fingers on one at a time. Okay. Trusting your memory where the

fingers go. If not first finger third string, second finger first string, third finger second

string, and left off the fret. I hope you remember that part of course, you can always

look at the chord diagram and take your fingers off and shake it.

So you want to get to where you put them all once at the same time but that takes practice.

And first you put one finger one at a time, play it. See how it sounds. Take your fingers

off and then do it again. Do that a little each day and look for just small improvement.

Dont expect to be straight up either. I found my improvement to be kinda like this so be

patient with yourself. Okay so your assignment for today is to just spend a little time making

the D chord. See how it sounds, take your fingers off, five minutes a day. And then

when youre ready, come on back for Lesson Number 8. Im gonna teach you a few more

chords and everything were doing here will make the next chords much easier. See you

soon!

Spain slowly recovers from throes of global financial crisis - Duration: 3:40.

Spain's economy is slowly getting back on the recovery track in the wake of the global

financial crisis,... with its growth rate outpacing that of major European nations.

With Korea also facing a slowing economy, Kim Min-ji dissect what kind of lessons we

can learn from Barcelona, to swim out of danger.

Spain is slowly recovering from the throes of the global financial crisis,... but Spaniards

still have painful memories of that time.

"We were walking in the street and the shops were closed and with a tag saying 'rent,'

but no one was buying anything."

Although that's not the case anymore, there are still some problems that have persisted

since then -- including high unemployment.

"It's still tough for young people -- most with temporary jobs in the service sector

such as waiters or hotel workers -- so life is still pretty hard for them."

At the same time, there's no doubt that the country is on the recovery track, especially

with consumption and exports picking up,... following government efforts to boost the

economy,... including fiscal and market reforms.

As a result, Spain's growth has outpaced that of most of its EU counterparts, even though

it's expected to weaken slightly in the coming months.

"The Spanish economy is expected to grow in the mid-two-percent range this year,... slowing

from growth of over 3 percent in 2016.

While it still maintains recovery momentum,... it faces a slowdown in job creation, rising

consumer prices and an array of external uncertainties."

Spain's unemployment rate stands at almost 19 percent,... the second highest in the EU

after Greece.

Job growth has been slow and job quality, poor.

That combined with high inflation could take a toll on consumption going forward.

Spain is also facing a raft of uncertainties from abroad,... including Brexit,... although

the impact is yet to be seen,... and the recovery in global oil prices.

Like Spain, Korea is also heading into a cycle of low growth -- and is on track to post growth

in the two-percent range for a third straight year.

However, experts say that while the economic structures of the two countries are different,...

there are things Korea can learn from Spain's experience.

"Austerity by itself doesn't help economic growth.

I'd say that Spain hasn't grown thanks to the austerity, it has grown in spite of them.

It's also about creating quality jobs, because creating jobs might be a short-term solution,

but the distributional issues, equity issues that might be created, might have very long-term

effects."

Korea's troubles include political turmoil possibly leading to an early presidential

election,... slowing consumption... and an ongoing corporate restructuring drive.

"As long as you have high household debt, consumption is not going to pick up very much.

Korean industries undertaking a serious restructuring, have frictions... and frictions mean low growth

and unemployment."

The expert said patience will be the key... as Korea confronts these issues,... adding

that support measures targeting vulnerable groups,... like those laid off from the restructuring

programs, will bring more positive results in the long term.

Kim Min-ji, Arirang News.

Barcelona.
