Youtube daily report Mar 8 2017

Resuming debate, the Honourable Member for Oakville North-Burlington.

Thank you Mr. Speaker, it is an honour to speak today in support of Bill S-201, the

genetic non-discrimination act.

I applaud Senator Cowan for his efforts for many years on this issue and my colleague,

the member for Don Valley West, who has been a tireless advocate to end genetic discrimination.

With this bill, we have the historic opportunity to join all other G7 countries that already

have legislation that protects its citizens from discrimination based on their genetics.

As we have heard, the bill has three components, each of which is critical to the new genetic

non-discrimination bill, which would make it a criminal offence for a service provider

to require genetic testing or that a person disclose results of past testing.

The second part would amend the Canada Labour Code to set up a complaint procedure for those

working in federally regulated industries.

Finally, it would amend the Canadian Human Rights Act to add the words "genetic discrimination".

The proposed amendments would remove two of these three components of the bill and could

leave more 90% of Canadians with a false sense of security that they are indeed protected.

As we know, only 5% to 7% of Canadians are covered by the Canadian Human Rights Act,

so most would still remain without protections with the government's proposed amendments.

My colleague from Don Valley West shared a timeline that highlights the rapid changes

taking place in genetic testing.

In 2003, scientists first mapped the human genome.

Then there were 100 genetic tests for diseases or conditions.

When Senator Cowan first spoke about this issue in the Senate 10 years later, the number

of tests had jumped to 2,000.

Today that number has skyrocketed to almost 35,000, with tests available for more than

10,000 conditions.

The Canadian Coalition for Genetic Fairness is a group of 18 organizations dedicated to

establishing protections from genetic discrimination for all Canadians.

Members include the ALS Society of Canada, the Alzheimer Society of Canada, Muscular

Dystrophy Canada, the MS Society of Canada, Osteoporosis Canada, and 13 more.

They have stated that cases of genetic discrimination have been documented in Canada and are continuing

to grow.

As they remind us, all Canadians are impacted by genetic discrimination.

Each of us has dozens of genetic mutations that could increase or decrease our risk of

getting diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, cancer, Parkinson's, or Alzheimer's disease.

While I was aware that genetic testing was available, like most Canadians I had not given

it a lot of thought.

While I knew that my father's colon cancer made it more likely for me to develop the

same cancer, there was not a genetic test available for that particular cancer.

I knew about the BRCA gene and its connection to breast and ovarian cancer, but it was not

until last year, when I had a meeting with Ovarian Cancer Canada, that I was shocked

to learn of the discrimination that is taking place in our country based on genetics.

Ovarian cancer is an insidious disease that is notoriously hard to detect.

There is no reliable early detection test.

It is the third most common reproductive cancer in women and one of the most deadly.

I was told the story of two sisters who had a history of ovarian cancer in their family.

Their doctors recommended genetic testing, as their prognosis would greatly improve with

the knowledge gained from these tests.

One sister had the testing, was positive for the gene, and had surgery to remove her ovaries.

The other sister was told her insurance would be cancelled if she tested positive, so despite

the fact that the test could potentially save her life, she was afraid to risk losing her

insurance and did not get genetic testing.

Just last night, I received a letter from a constituent who wished to stay anonymous

out of fear of discrimination.

She disclosed that she and her daughter had a genetic test that found that they both had

a gene that could leave them blind.

She questioned the fairness of allowing a simple genetic test to undermine her future

access to employment and insurance, and she worried about her daughter and the effect

it could have on her career and future.

She reminded me that we live in Canada, a country where we celebrate our differences.

We protect one another from race, colour, sex, and disability discrimination.

In an article posted yesterday, representatives from Ovarian Cancer Canada and the Centre

for Israel and Jewish Affairs wrote:

For a young woman taking her first steps in building a professional career, the "wrong"

genetic test results can impose a new glass ceiling....

Tomorrow is International Women's Day, and members of this House will have an opportunity

to enhance women's health by allowing them to use genetic testing for early detection,

monitoring, and intervention without the fear of being discriminated against.

Last year I had the opportunity to speak with Rabbi Stephen Wise from the Shaarei-Beth El

congregation in Oakville.

He shared with me the prevalence of certain genetic diseases within the Jewish community.

He said that Bill S-201 would save lives.

In fact, the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs, a member of the Canadian Coalition

for Genetic Fairness, which appeared as a witness before the justice committee, stated,

"It is time for the law to catch up with science and bring an end to genetic discrimination".

On its website, it highlights that governments continue to invest billions in promising genome

research, but the benefits of this research will be diminished or degraded due to genetic

discrimination.

A Globe and Mail story from last year told the story of a 24 year old who was fired from

his first job of his career when he told his employer he had tested positive for the gene

for Huntington's disease.

Our human rights laws do not cover this type of discrimination yet.

Bill S-201 would change that.

This is one of the many reasons why the bill should pass as is, without amendment.

As it is currently written, the bill would make this type of dismissal criminal and allow

individuals to make their case through the less cumbersome judicial process.

Constitutional law experts have stated that the bill would be constitutionally valid because

it did not single out a particular industry that fell under provincial jurisdiction.

This issue has been debated in the House of Commons and the Senate.

The issue of genetic screening has been mentioned in both the Liberal and Conservative Party

platforms, and the NDP recently had a private member's bill to ban "genetic characteristics"

as grounds for discrimination under the Canadian Human Rights Act.

I suspect most Canadians would be shocked that their genetic test results could be used

to discriminate in employment, insurance, and even divorce cases.

Often it is not until people are advised to get genetic testing that they find out about

this discrimination.

The fear of the disclosure is actually preventing people from getting tested.

This is just wrong.

Genetic testing is transforming medicine by moving medical research toward personalized

medicine.

Modern medicine is recognizing that mapping the human gene for diseases and conditions

can truly change the way we treat individuals.

When Dr. Cindy Forbes, past president of the Canadian Medical Association, appeared before

the justice committee, she stated the CMA's strong support for Bill S-201 in its entirety.

She spoke to the rapid growth of genetic testing and the great promise it held in the diagnosis

and therapeutic treatment of many known and new diseases.

She said this would ultimately enhance the quality of life of many patients and allow

for early diagnoses that would benefit patient care.

She testified that genomic medicine was a transformative development.

She also stated:

Of great concern to Canada's doctors and their patients is the fact that public policies

and legislation have not kept pace with this transformation.

Genetic discrimination is both a significant and an internationally recognized phenomenon...As

Canada's doctors, it is the CMA's position that Canadians deserve to have access to the

best possible health care without fear of genetic discrimination.

She testified to the correlation between disease and genetics, stating:

Six out of every 10 Canadians will be affected during their lifetime by a health problem

that is genetic in whole or in part.

It's important to recognize that genetic testing will no longer be limited to rare, esoteric

genetic diseases occurring in patients seen by a handful of specialists across the country.

Rather, it's becoming an integral part of broad medical care and, as such, is expected

to become mainstream medicine.

As legislators, it is imperative that we deal with this issue now and give those who undergo

genetic testing the protection they deserve.

Bill S-201, if passed as originally written without amendments, will bring our laws in

line with other G7 countries.

This law is long overdue.

It will protect our citizens.

It is the right thing to do.

The Not a Booktube Newbie Tag! - Duration: 5:50.

Hey guys, Katie here. How's it going?

Today I'm going to do the Not a Booktube Newbie Tag.

I have been seeing these around a lot, so

I'm sorry! I'm sure you're inundated, but

it's been a long time since I've talked

about my channel or myself, and I thought

maybe now would be a good time to do it

as sort of a reintroduction like hey!

Here's me, what's up. I haven't done a tag in a long

time. This should be kind of fun? I don't know.

I like tags because they're just easy.

Really easy.

The first question is:

how old is your channel? My channel is three

years old now. I started in February of

2014, and it was really scary to do, but

hey, I did it, I'm here now... and it's been a

really rewarding couple of years.

The second question is: what are your

favorite videos to make? I really like

doing reviews even though for some

reason, in the past year so, I have become

really tongue-tied and I struggle with

them. But, I do my best.

I also enjoy doing more artsy videos, which

I don't get to do very often because it

just doesn't really fit in Booktube, but

I try to fit it in when I can, and I try

to think of new ideas where I can use my

like, editing/filming skills, because I

have some like, basic skills, and I enjoy

doing it.

The third question is: what is one piece

of advice that you would give someone

wanting to join Booktube? I think the

best advice that I can give is just have

fun with it, and don't worry too much

about like equipment. Don't let other

people pressure you to read a certain type of

book. Do what you want to do, read what

you want to read and just have fun! And

make cool stuff that you want to watch

I know this advice that like every

YouTuber ever gives, but if you don't like

what you're making,

nobody wants to watch it. It's boring. I

definitely recommend it, it's really fun.

It's different than it used to be like,

when I started it was much smaller, but

it's still a great community, and there's

a lot you can learn, and there are a lot

of great people out here.

The fourth question is: since joining

have you run into any unforeseen

challenges? I would say the biggest

challenge is real life. I have a job,

and a boyfriend, and a dog, and

friends and family and life. And I

also, you know, like most people, I have

anxiety and depression. And I happen to

have hypothyroidism, which just means

that my thyroid doesn't produce enough

hormone, and it makes me really tired.

All of these things really make it hard

to make videos, and that is why, if you

don't see me for a while,

it's probably because I'm exhausted or

I'm really busy.

Other than that, the hardest thing is

that reading becomes more of a chore, and

if you're not careful, if you don't do

things for yourself, rather than for your

channel, you will burn out. And it won't

be fun.

There's also a lot of pressure on

Booktube, and you kind of have to manage that

and decide, you know, that you're not

going to let outside pressure affect how

you feel about your reading, and how you

feel about what you're making.

Question five is: what is a favorite book or

series that you've read because of

Booktube? Well, I have to say that most of

the books on my shelf I found because of

Booktube. So, it'lll be hard to pick just one.

I have read a ton of post-apocalyptic

literary fiction, and it turned out to be

something I really enjoyed, and I found it

because of Booktube, so I definitely

appreciate books like CALIFORNIA by Edan Lepucki,

GOLD FAME CITRUS by Claire Vaye Watkins,

STATION ELEVEN, like, you name it.

All those post-apocalyptic stories have

been super great, and I have really loved

reading them. So thanks Booktube!

Number six: overall what is your favorite thing

about Booktube? I have made some friends

that I am pretty sure I'll have for my

entire life.

That's amazing, and I've definitely experienced

that on the internet before, way back

when I was in the Harry Potter fandom, I made

some great friends... some of them I still

know now. So I already knew kind of power of

making friends on the internet. But it's

nice to be able to talk to people about

books, because even though people in my

life read, some of them don't read as

seriously as I do, as much as I do, or

they don't care to talk about it.

Just friendship and being able to talk

about books with people who understand.

Number seven is spread the Booktube love, share one

newbie that you've found recently.

Well, I haven't, and that's

actually something that I have been

wanting to change, but it's hard, and I've

been having trouble finding people. And I

know it's easy, I know I can, and there

are certainly people I've subscribed to

recently, like in the last six months

or so, but I need suggestions! I follow

most of the usuals, the people that you

hear about a lot, but I'm always on

the lookout for new people, and it's a

long time since I've found any. So let me

know in the comments below if you have

some awesome new booktubers that you

would like to recommend to me.

Number eight is: who do you tag? I tag no one.

If you've been around for awhile, and you

want to do this, please do the tag. It

would be great if you would. I did not

look at the questions before doing this

tag, which was actually great, and I'm

glad I did it that way. It was just

really enjoyable, so I hope you'll do it

if you haven't done it, or if you're a

Booktube newbie yourself, there is

definitely a Booktube Newbie tag, so

search for that on YouTube, because it's fun.

It's fun to do stuff like this! I hope

you guys are having a great week, and I

will see you next time, bye!

The State of Grace! Exciting new autism fiction & GIVEAWAY - Duration: 3:55.

I'm really excited about what I'm going

to talk to you about on the 6th april this year

one of my favorite new young adult

books is coming out i had the pleasure of

reading this early

I've got proof copies at the minute

so the final cover looks very different I'll put it somewhere

on here what it looks like

It is The state of grace by Rachael Lucas I'm sure you're

wondering why why am I so excited well

it's an asperger's novel where the

autistic character is not only the main character

but a girl but she has a romance

ok so i need to level with you just

this never happens in autistic fiction. lots of society's

perceptions of disabled people in

general is very de-sexualized de-romanticised

So let's talk about the State of Grace. Grace is a

fifteen-year-old girl living in the

northeast of England she lives with her

mother and her younger sister Leah and very

occasionally her father who keeps

disappearing on wildlife shoots which is

kind of okay for the most part but

since he's been gone this last time things

started to be really off kilter

When Grace and Leah's mum's university friend comes

calling complete with lots of bottles of wine

things start to change in a way that grace

cant really handle things start to feel off kilter

alongside her rapidly changing home life

is gabe kowalski the most beautiful

desired boy in school and thanks to the

urging of Grace's best friend she

somehow ends up kissing him!! in between

trying to navigate her first romance and

keep her family together grace has a really

close relationship with her horse mabel

i get a lot of emotions thinking about this book

and I cried quite a bit and there was some

really amazing sound bites in it like

"sometimes I feel like everyone else was

handed a copy of the rules and mine got lost"

yeah I really love this novel because

it's so charming

it's really smart it's really funny it's

really touching and Rachael Lucas has

created a wonderful thing it's not only

a great engaging story that i love but

also is an amazing look into the world

of a young girl with Asperger's I saw

so much myself in Grace

it also includes one of my favourite

retorts that I'm going to use from now on

"she looks at me

her eyebrows raised her voice dripping with

scorn. 'you don't look autistic.' 'and you

don't look ignorant and yet here we are' "

Haha I'm using that all the time

So on the sixth of April I expect that all of you

will be down at your local bookstore picking it up or

you'll be meeting your postman at the door

because he'll have brought your pre-ordered

copy but I have a spare !

the lovely people at My Kinda Book (accidentally)sent me two

because they knew i was so excited about

that and Rachael and i agreed the best thing

we should do is share it. all you have to

do is go to the link below will see it

as competition link and answer the question

and hopefully one of you will win one of

these so I'm gonna set the date as

the middle of March so weeks from this video

is coming out, date to be confirmed below

This is an unread spare copy in nice condition

and I promise to send it

wrapped up nicely to keep it safe.

I really hope you consider pre-ordering it

because oh just!! Enter the competition

preorder it tell everyone about it okay

byeeee

Massive Keyed Keyboard | Nostalgia Nerd - Duration: 7:07.

[LGR Talking about Oddware]

Odd...

Forgotten...

Obsolete...

Oh Hello!

Today, I thought we'd take a look at this keyboard, with MASSIVE keys.

So here's the keyboard....

It's something I picked up on one of my "thrifting" episodes.

I believe it was £2 from the local car boot sale.

Clearly, it's a keyboard designed for child use, and retail wise it looks like it's been

on the market for the past 10 years at least.

Sometimes advertised for special requirements, and yeah I can see how it could be useful

if you had sight or co-ordination problems, but I can't really test for that.

Although I guess it could also be useful if you've come back from the pub and need to

check the football scores, or whatever you crazy cats do.

Now, the unit itself is completely devoid of a manufacturer name, which is never a good

sign, but a quick dig around on t'internet shows that it's a unit which has been and

continues to be at least partially sold under various brands.

From Duragadget to Hipstreet with some kind of water filled mouse and even Crayola as

the EZ Type Keyboard.

There's even a version with a trackball.

It all looks incredibly joyful and splendid.

The thing is, it's not really EZ Type, and given that children have smaller hands, and

this keyboard has much larger keys, it seems a little unhelpful.

Granted, it may make it easier to find an appropriate key, but my kids had no trouble

wangling their way around a blackberry keyboard when they were toddlers.

What's more some keys are in strange places, which is a little off putting and doesn't

reinforce touch typing.

The lack of a right hand shift key is particularly upsetting when trying to type any kind of

useful document.

Maybe I'm taking this a little seriously.

It's a massive coloured keyboard.

You're not going to write the code for Alien Isolation 2 on it.

It's also an improvement over what most developers in the 80s were used to.

Let's connect it up.

This is a USB model, although PS/2 is available.

I'm just gonna use this adapter to plug it into my Compaq.

And that's about it.

The keyboard functions.

At this stage it felt apt to try some children's programs to get a feel for the keyboard in

it's intended setting.

So after going through a few cover disks, this is what I came up with.

This Dr. Seuss program was unfairly labelled.

I saw ABC and assumed some kind of keyboard interaction, but it's just clicking.

Endless clicking.

Good god.

Appropriately I also found a typing tutor.

So let's give that a crack and see how it fares.

We haven't got "backslash" function, which is a bit limiting.

So I'm running Windows 3.11 through DOSBox just to.. just for ease of use for filming

this really, on this computer.

This is volume 19, issue 17, March 97 of Computer Buyer.

The program I'm looking for is "Keyboard Test"..."Typing Tutor".

OK, Installation.

OK, so here is the OPAC Keyboarding.

If we open it up...

"Welcome to OPAC System keyboarding skills assessment"... name?

When the keyboarding test begins, the screen will be divided into 2 windows.

The top window contains the text you'll be typing.

The bottom window is where you will type.

That's fairly clear.

You have 5 minutes for the test..

Good luck!

God.

One shift key?!

"What is".... [arrgh] the most [oh god]

[interlude]

Time is up.

Ok, let's check that.

So, gross words per minute 38.

Total errors 3.

98.4% accuracy.

Net words per minute 37.

Time 5.

Gross keystrokes 940.

Net keystrokes 925.

Total backspaces: 118.

So.. it seems only fair to run that with a normal keyboard... and see what the difference

is.

[interlude]

and we have gross words per minute: 81.

Total errors: 13.

Accuracy rate: 96.8%.

79 net words per minute.

5 minutes.

Gross keystrokes: 2034.

Net keystrokes:1969, and total backspaces:117.

Yeah, it was never going to be brilliant.

In fact, it seemed more appropriate to get the views of a small child......

What do you think of this keyboard?

Child: CRAP.

So there we go.

BUT, I should mention that those massive arrow keys work really well with one particular

set of games, and that is 90s First Person Shooters.

Both DOOM and Rise of the Triad were an absolute joy.

In fact this entire keyboard feels right with blood soaked mayhem.

It's fairly responsive.

There's good depth to the keys and it just makes me want to kill and maim.

So final verdict.

It might be an OK keyboard for tiny children, but it's at its best when used to slaughter

vast numbers of weapon wielding opponents.

I think Crayola missed a marketing trick there.

Fresh is Best - Duration: 2:03.

Hello, I am Angela Sader vice president

of ancillary services for the nursing

center division and a registered

dietitian it is my pleasure to share

with you the progress of implementing

the use of fresh fruits and vegetables

in our centers were possible let me explain

why growing a garden and eating fresh

food is a focus for us at Kindred

as we get older our bodies experience

changes in our appetite our abilities

to smell, taste and see may become

diminished in addition we become less

active which can lead to decreased

socialization this is where fresh is

best fits in a garden provides fresh

fruit and vegetables are a feast for our

senses our eyes enjoy the vibrant colors

you can feel the different textures and

smell the aromas all encouraging us to

eat these nutritious foods so what

exactly does a garden give us a garden

gives us activity often outdoors

encouraging us to move, stretch, absorb

sunlight so our body can make

vitamin D for our bones a garden gives

us happiness a chance to socialize and

share moments with others and it can

also give us some quiet time to unwind

all while helping improve our mood about

forty percent of our centers have a

garden including many flower gardens and

those 25% are growing

vegetables and fruits which are used in

activities and at meals we realize the

garden is a place where residents, family

members and community volunteers can

work together to maintain and harvest

fresh food for the center as well as

help build a stronger community our

mission at Kindred includes promoting

healing and providing hope the inclusion

of fresh produce and a beautiful garden

refreshes our mind, body and soul

what better way to promote healing and

hope than planting for a better tomorrow

Básico Aula 15 (CURSO GRATUITO COM PDF PARA INSCRITOS) - Duration: 5:26.

This video is going to be very quick.

This is the Basic course, class fifteen.

Today is one of the most imporatnt days in this course,

because we are going to review and practice everything you've seen so far in this course.

Very efficiently.

So, what have you seen so far?

This is a list of what you have already studied so far.

Now I'm gonna have a conversation with my student here.

Okay?

Yes teacher, we are gonna have a conversation.

In this conversation we are gonna use everything you've studied so far, all the topics.

And today you are going to practice your reading, your writing, your speaking and your listening.

Everything in this class, that's why it's so important.

But teacher, how are we gonna practice everything in this class?

I'm gonna give you instructions of how to use this class in order to study effectively.

Please, activate the subtitles.

First, you can read the conversation, watch the conversation reading.

While we are saying, okay?

In English or Portuguese. This is the first step.

So you will be practicing your reading.

Now, you are gonna watch the conversation again,

this time you pause it at every sentence.

Then, you are going to write the whole conversation down, basically copy the subtitles in English.

So, this is the second step.

And It's a writing practice.

You've read the conversation and you'vd written the conversation.

Now, watch the conversation again without subtitles.

This is going to be a listening practice.

So, you have the conversation on a piece of paper.

Offbeat & Odd Chap - Weekend Living - Duration: 3:46.

Friday night, clock strikes five It's been a long week but it's finally

arrived Time for a chilled one in with some wine

A film and a Chinese…

Ha, yeah right Rise to my feet and leave for the day

Call my people and tell them to meet at my place

Eating is cheating so straight onto pre-drinks And let's get this evening underway

Laughing, joking, drinking, smoking Glasses clinking, music pumping

Couple mates cutting up a little something It isn't for me man but I ain't judging

No plan we'll just go with the flow But we know that we need to leave in a bit

Nobody really cares where though Because what matters the most is the people

you're with

Yeah coz we're just living for the weekend And right now this is weekend living

Each of us is just making the most Of the little bit of freedom we get given

Walk in the club, straight to bar Order some shots and pay with my card

I'd rather have fun while I'm young Than look back when I'm older and feel like

I wasted the chance Couple hours pass of dancing and drinking

Till I'm in the garden smoking a fag With my arm round my mate

Like "I know that I don't say this enough but I love you man"

Dance is done but I'm far from it Did someone say "Houseparty"?

I'm on it Smoke in the air people sat on the floor

But this is where the best friendships are formed

Chatting to a guy til it's light outside On a deep vibe for 3hrs straight

Reckon that I've made a new mate for life When I'm like "Bruv I don't even know

your name!"

Yeah coz we're just living for the weekend And right now this is Weekend Living

Each of us is just making the most Of the little bit of freedom we get given

Yeah I said we're living for the weekend Yeah I said we're living for the weekend

Yeah I said we're living for the weekend Coz right now this is Weekend Living

Yeah I said we're living for the weekend Yeah I said we're living for the weekend

Each of us is just making the most Of the little bit of freedom we get given

Wake up Sunday morning and you're crawling out of bed

Feel appalling you can hear your friends all talking in your den

You say what time did you wake up because it is only 10:00

And then they say "What do you mean wake up?

We still haven't slept"

Yeah, sometimes I wonder what's wrong with us

Will we ever go on to accomplish much?

Probably but for now I'm happy watching The Come Down With Me omnibus

Now I need to eat and I think That there's only one thing that is able

to save me A big plate of meat and potatoes

Preferably swimming in a lake of gravy Head to the pub, order some grub

Might as well get a pint to wash it down In for a penny, in for a pound

In for a bevvy, in for a round Now it's 10pm and I'm wasted

How the hell did I let this happen again?

I got work in the morning But it's only 5 days til the next weekend

Yeah coz we're just living for the weekend And right now this is Weekend Living

Each of us is making the most Of the little bit of freedom we get given

Yeah I said we're living for the weekend Yeah I said we're living for the weekend

Yeah I said we're living for the weekend Coz right now this is Weekend Living

Yeah I said we're living for the weekend Yeah I said we're living for the weekend

Each of us is just making the most Of the little bit of freedom, we get given

Obamagate List reveals more than a dozen victims of Obama wiretapping - Duration: 5:46.

Obamagate: List reveals more than a dozen victims of Obama wiretapping.

The Main Stream Media and other enemies of the current President are challenging the

proposition that President Obama wire tapped President Donald Trump during the 2016 Presidential

race.

President Trump started this discussion with his tweets over the weekend.

In his first tweet President Trump tweeted: Terrible!

Just found out that Obama had my "wires tapped" in Trump Tower just before the victory.

Nothing found.

This is McCarthyism!

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump Is it legal for a sitting President to be

"wire tapping" a race for president prior to an election?

Turned down by court earlier.

A NEW LOW!

Next the President tweeted:

@realDonaldTrump I'd bet a good lawyer could make a great case

out of the fact that President Obama was tapping my phones in October, just prior to Election!

The final for four tweets concerning the wire tapping:

How low has President Obama gone to tapp my phones during the very sacred election process.

This is Nixon/Watergate.

Bad (or sick) guy!

This is now being referred to as Obamagate!

It is not unfounded that former President Obama would wire tap President Trump during

the election process.

This is because he has done this before.

Here is a list of individuals who were wire tapped by the Obama Administration.

WikiLeaks released the following list on February 23rd (see link here) of Obama Administration

wire taps:

* The US National Security Agency bugged a private climate change strategy meeting; between

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon and German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin;

* Obama bugged Chief of Staff of UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) for long term interception

targetting his Swiss phone; * Obama singled out the Director of the Rules

Division of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), Johann Human, and targetted his Swiss phone

for long term interception; * Obama stole sensitive Italian diplomatic

cables detailing how Israels Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu implored Italys Prime

Minister Silvio Berlusconi to help patch up his relationship with US President Barack

Obama, who was refusing to talk to Netanyahu; * Obama intercepted top EU and Japanese trade

ministers discussing their secret strategy and red lines to stop the US extort[ing]

them at the WTO Doha arounds (the talks subsequently collapsed);

* Obama explicitly targeted five other top EU economic officials for long term interception,

including their French, Austrian and Belgium phone numbers;

* Obama explicitly targetted the phones of Italys ambassador to NATO and other top

Italian officials for long term interception; and

* Obama intercepted details of a critical private meeting between then French president

Nicolas Sarkozy, Merkel and Berluscon, where the latter was told the Italian banking system

was ready to pop like a cork.

In addition to the above list we also know now that Obama wire tapped various individuals

in the US media that were reporting information not flattering to the Obama Administration.

It is widely known that Obamas Justice Department targeted journalists with wiretaps

in 2013:

* In 2013 the liberal Washington Post expressed outrage after the revelation that the Justice

Department had investigated the newsgathering activities of a Fox News reporter as a potential

crime in a probe of classified leaks.

The reporter, Fox News James Rosen and his family, were part of an investigation

into government officials anonymously leaking information to journalists.

Rosen was not charged but his movements and actions were tracked.

* Also in 2013, members of the Associated Press were also a target of the surveillance.

The ultra liberal New Yorker even noted that In moderate and liberal circles, at least,

the phone-records scandal, partly because it involves the dear old A.P. and partly because

it raises anew the specter of Big Brother, may well present the most serious threat to

Obamas reputation. * Reporter Sharyl Attkisson said in 2014 that

her personal computer and CBS laptop were hacked after she began filing stories about

Benghazi that were unflattering to the Obama administration.

A source who checked her laptop said the hacker used spyware proprietary to a government

agency, according to an article in the New York Post.

Update WikiLeaks tweeted overnight that the Obama Administration spied on their journalists

as well:

@wikileaks Did Obama spy on @realDonaldTrump's campaign?

Here is proof the Obama administration spied on our journalists https://wikileaks.org/google-warrant.html.

Obama is no stranger to wire tapping.

His administration tapped phones and computers of friends and foe alike.

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone - [PV] "Sakura no Ame" (Romaji/English/Español Subs) - Duration: 3:55.

Wherever our journeys may lead

We'll still be friends

It goes without saying, right?

Those glory days, no two of us alike

Give us confidence, push us forward

The track where we kicked up dust

The buttoned up uniforms we wore loose

The graffiti we wrote on the desks

All proof we made our mark

We shed a tear for every memory

That can't be relived in a graduation speech

The wounds inflicted by our youth

But maybe now we've grown up

Through the classroom window, sakura rain

Landing softly on my palm

Drawn to my heart

Let's take the bouquet we all made together

And set it free into the sky

Don't forget

Right now...

Each of us might be a single, small petal

But we're not alone

Out of all the countless schools

The miracle is that we met each other

Those sweet smiles will never change

No matter how many years pass

Through the classroom window, sakura rain

Landing softly on my palm

Drawn to my heart

Let's take the bouquet we all made together

And set it free into the sky

Don't forget

Right now...

Each of us might be a single, small petal

But we're not alone

Someday...

We'll bloom, petals spreading wide

And meet here again

The Not a Booktube Newbie Tag! - Duration: 5:50.

Hey guys, Katie here. How's it going?

Today I'm going to do the Not a Booktube Newbie Tag.

I have been seeing these around a lot, so

I'm sorry! I'm sure you're inundated, but

it's been a long time since I've talked

about my channel or myself, and I thought

maybe now would be a good time to do it

as sort of a reintroduction like hey!

Here's me, what's up. I haven't done a tag in a long

time. This should be kind of fun? I don't know.

I like tags because they're just easy.

Really easy.

The first question is:

how old is your channel? My channel is three

years old now. I started in February of

2014, and it was really scary to do, but

hey, I did it, I'm here now... and it's been a

really rewarding couple of years.

The second question is: what are your

favorite videos to make? I really like

doing reviews even though for some

reason, in the past year so, I have become

really tongue-tied and I struggle with

them. But, I do my best.

I also enjoy doing more artsy videos, which

I don't get to do very often because it

just doesn't really fit in Booktube, but

I try to fit it in when I can, and I try

to think of new ideas where I can use my

like, editing/filming skills, because I

have some like, basic skills, and I enjoy

doing it.

The third question is: what is one piece

of advice that you would give someone

wanting to join Booktube? I think the

best advice that I can give is just have

fun with it, and don't worry too much

about like equipment. Don't let other

people pressure you to read a certain type of

book. Do what you want to do, read what

you want to read and just have fun! And

make cool stuff that you want to watch

I know this advice that like every

YouTuber ever gives, but if you don't like

what you're making,

nobody wants to watch it. It's boring. I

definitely recommend it, it's really fun.

It's different than it used to be like,

when I started it was much smaller, but

it's still a great community, and there's

a lot you can learn, and there are a lot

of great people out here.

The fourth question is: since joining

have you run into any unforeseen

challenges? I would say the biggest

challenge is real life. I have a job,

and a boyfriend, and a dog, and

friends and family and life. And I

also, you know, like most people, I have

anxiety and depression. And I happen to

have hypothyroidism, which just means

that my thyroid doesn't produce enough

hormone, and it makes me really tired.

All of these things really make it hard

to make videos, and that is why, if you

don't see me for a while,

it's probably because I'm exhausted or

I'm really busy.

Other than that, the hardest thing is

that reading becomes more of a chore, and

if you're not careful, if you don't do

things for yourself, rather than for your

channel, you will burn out. And it won't

be fun.

There's also a lot of pressure on

Booktube, and you kind of have to manage that

and decide, you know, that you're not

going to let outside pressure affect how

you feel about your reading, and how you

feel about what you're making.

Question five is: what is a favorite book or

series that you've read because of

Booktube? Well, I have to say that most of

the books on my shelf I found because of

Booktube. So, it'lll be hard to pick just one.

I have read a ton of post-apocalyptic

literary fiction, and it turned out to be

something I really enjoyed, and I found it

because of Booktube, so I definitely

appreciate books like CALIFORNIA by Edan Lepucki,

GOLD FAME CITRUS by Claire Vaye Watkins,

STATION ELEVEN, like, you name it.

All those post-apocalyptic stories have

been super great, and I have really loved

reading them. So thanks Booktube!

Number six: overall what is your favorite thing

about Booktube? I have made some friends

that I am pretty sure I'll have for my

entire life.

That's amazing, and I've definitely experienced

that on the internet before, way back

when I was in the Harry Potter fandom, I made

some great friends... some of them I still

know now. So I already knew kind of power of

making friends on the internet. But it's

nice to be able to talk to people about

books, because even though people in my

life read, some of them don't read as

seriously as I do, as much as I do, or

they don't care to talk about it.

Just friendship and being able to talk

about books with people who understand.

Number seven is spread the Booktube love, share one

newbie that you've found recently.

Well, I haven't, and that's

actually something that I have been

wanting to change, but it's hard, and I've

been having trouble finding people. And I

know it's easy, I know I can, and there

are certainly people I've subscribed to

recently, like in the last six months

or so, but I need suggestions! I follow

most of the usuals, the people that you

hear about a lot, but I'm always on

the lookout for new people, and it's a

long time since I've found any. So let me

know in the comments below if you have

some awesome new booktubers that you

would like to recommend to me.

Number eight is: who do you tag? I tag no one.

If you've been around for awhile, and you

want to do this, please do the tag. It

would be great if you would. I did not

look at the questions before doing this

tag, which was actually great, and I'm

glad I did it that way. It was just

really enjoyable, so I hope you'll do it

if you haven't done it, or if you're a

Booktube newbie yourself, there is

definitely a Booktube Newbie tag, so

search for that on YouTube, because it's fun.

It's fun to do stuff like this! I hope

you guys are having a great week, and I

will see you next time, bye!
