absolutely stunning evening and I've actually convinced my girlfriend Carys
to come and do her a world come with me as well this is actually a second wall
camp she she came a week or so ago so yes she knows what to
expect and the the work that today is absolutely stunning but heading up to
further trip over the dog again I've got Callie as well Callie with us
she actually loves camping not so him but heading up to Llyn Y Fan Fach and it's
going to be an absolute epic night for but some landscape photography I hope no
I actually noticed that the weight of my bag it's heavier than normal took it in
the car flip it out what's going on with the weight at this bag I think it's the
couple of bottles of wine we tucked in at the last minute so looking forward to
getting to them when we get to the top chillin out hopefully there's next to no
wind it's really warm so it should be really nice even at the top
it's such a shame that we're not gonna be on the top of the mountain in time
because look at that light it's unbelievable breaking across the
mountain it's stunning there's a lovely reflection in there and
the lake just there as well yeah we've got to try and get all the way up there
so I hain't got a toilet fuck probably got an hour before sunset so I
really need to shift it and I'm really noticing the weight this back I'm pretty
certain I'm carrying all this stuff as pop
well it turns out you are what is it to be sure slope so I'm just checked to see
where the milky way he's gonna be and it's in a really really good position
tense just here and it's a really really good position to get the Milky Way over
there which is where it is right now and the other problem is the way any permits
it doesn't set till our hapless three and sunrise is pretty much like corpus
five or some phantom ridiculous so it's gonna be really difficult I'm wondering
as well over that over that direction it's an awful lot of light pollution
which is a bit of a shame but I know where the Milky Way is the moon is still
massive of the minute and yeah really really hoping to get a bit of her shows
hopefully doing as well it's actually got a bit a little bit cold now no
breeze so it's nice really enjoying it really really nice I managed to get a
photograph earlier as well there's a bit abstract here I guess I just liked
really like the colors and yeah just the way that the the Sun was setting it was
Lois not the bottom the clouds he had his knob and a red absolute nightmare to
focus hopefully I managed to get that sharp it's difficult to focus even
manually punched in just could not seem to get any contrast so it's quite
difficult but yeah hopefully that'll come out nice and you know I'm gonna set
the alarm and after perhaps no for about four o'clock see if the moon's anywhere
near setting and hopefully get another Astro and Milky Way shot with the turn
that we made it
I've been frozen Oh first look about about 15 minutes
sleep those up I'll go up about 25 3 other times it 4 o'clock this morning
for just after the moon would say it's now Pappas 5 as soon as just risen over
there hoping it's gonna light up the mountains over there I was got a way to
go boots so lovely soft blanket of cloud that was sweeping across there's a bit
of an inversion over there as well it's blinking cold
well this morning light is absolutely gorgeous I'm not actually struggling to
find a composition this side the mountain when this is where the gorgeous
certain like it's gonna be oh it's over there I just can't find I've got the 200
mil lens on the Sony and and I'm just looking for some details I mean there's
a lovely low cloud over there which is amazing I've tried to pick up them trees
there at 200 millimetres just see if I can pick out there because the lights
soft kick kissing the top of the hills down there which looks quite nice the
the photograph I wanna get is over the other side of the hill anyway so I'm
just waiting for the Sun to get high and off so it lifts over the light gets over
this hill but it makes really beautiful it was a lovely lake down there watch
out if I can put the name down that's what that Lake is at the bottom there
absolutely gorgeous yeah the clouds are blowing over the mountains really nicely
to get some really beautiful morning considering how heavy the cloud was a
snowy probably if I clear this guy this morning very surprised but yeah it's
beautiful so it's gonna get another 5 or 10 minutes look out for some details I'm
I've not seen anything that's jumping out at me just yet ever otherwise what a
gorgeous morning absolutely beautiful really sharable getting out at 10:00
this morning really really struggled but now I'm glad I did it's always worth it
in the end and that just putting the boots on hot you've got the boots on
it's alright to get outta 10
well I had hoped to get a nice panoramic of flitting embarked and the rest of the
fans you can kind of see your lay layering behind them that first initial
amount in there and just pan around right down to the bottom of the valley
over there and the sun's come over the hill here and it is catching the top of
the mountains over there no not really as strong as I hope there's a bit of
cloud over the SIRT now so not really getting the Kandra so really really
wanted noise sort of strong contrast to the image whereas the dark pipe the
pockmarked the fans was in shadow and the top would all be in light and pan
around I thought was seventeen wheel panning around there that would be
absolutely lovely I've got the polarizer on the on the lens as well just I had a
bit of a bit of punch I'm not really getting much of the sky in the
photograph because I wanted it to be more about the mountains it's also a bit
of a shame the lake that's down there is all the reservoir is absolutely well
there's no water in it it's real shame yeah that's kind of ruining the image
for me as well already see if you can see it down there but yeah that's
normally right up top overflow and notice it's normally beautiful so that's
a bit of a shame as well but yeah the idea is there you can see what it's
catching the top of the mountain there yes it's stunning but I don't think I'm
gonna get the photograph I say before which if you have a shame hour on their
mind
I can't see the light getting any better this morning I did spot just over there
it's the sort of like a a dip in the in the in the field going obviously leading
line almost have followed up to the the lower level cloud over there that was
quite a nice shot so I got that I don't think I've got anything special this
morning bit of a shame the best of the lights kind of been and gone so yeah I'm
gonna I'm gonna get back to the tent and wake up the dog and cat they're gonna
love that it is half a six so yeah I've still got an hour gotta go to work later
something over another arrow in bed and then get off and see what the lights do
and then hopefully we'll get some more photographs as well
well we've definitely had the best of the light this morning so we're gonna
head down pack the tent up it's 20 to 8:00 in the morning
caris has got the day off I've gotta go to work
so it sucked a little bit oh yeah we just had Callie's having a bit of a man
five minutes running around like a lunatic she's trying to get warm it's
quite cold this morning but yeah we're gonna hike down get back to the car and
