Today we are going to celebrate new Liptacik. We are starting from 3 studnicky

now from hotel but from the real 3 studnicky

it is afternoon we are going after work usually we go early

mornings. So we can see the sunrise but today

it will be oposite we would like to record from Krivan

Sunset.

We are realy excited about krivan. It is one of the

highest hills in Slovakia

and it is the Highest hill in Liptov

and is bend like Krivan

And like who wasnt on Morske oko is not Polish

Then the person who wasnt at Krivan is not Slovak

so once again hands up who wasnt there yet ?

But after today i will be there

and most of tourist starts the hike

on this path from here

that is, Adam Pług's "Picture from noble estate" in a beautiful edition from 1876.

The book published by the author has been preserved a brochure cover - chromolitography.

Adam PŁUG was called Antoni PIETKIEWICZ and he was one of many monks of Romanticism in the 19th century.

"Magpie" was a poetic noble chat and at the same time the most popular work of this writer.

It was a vivid tale of a young man from a noble family,

who, under the influence of his feelings, docilely followed the orders of his capricious beloved

I titled today's program as the etymology of the quaver man

I imagine that more than one asked himself what I meant by this ridiculous title

etymology refers to the origin of words or reason for their existence

and the quaver note is the pseudonym that Debussy used during his work as a concert critic

The program´s idea is to make a journey through the music that according to Debussy himself led him to be who he was

for the choice of the works I base myself on a book that was titled in a not very creative way, Mr. Corchea

And compiles his critics

it is probable that he didn´t use his real name not receive a sort of revenge since he was very lapidary with all the composers and interpreters

One of the few composers that not only wasn´t destroyed by him

if not on the contrary it was considered by Debussy as the most important composer in history or "father of music"

Was Jean Philippe Rameau

and that's why the first part of the program goes around his music

You will see in the program that the first work is a prelude

the preludes originally were not works in themselves

if not that as its name says they´re the entrance or preparation to the music that came later

In the first work

this prelude was the work that opened his first suite in a minor

a suite is a set of works

Taking only this prelude

we already have plenty of reasons to consider a Rameau a genius

and understand why Debussy had so much admiration for him

this prelude is a prelude to a prelude

that is to say

has two parts where the first one is an improvisation written by Rameau

And he asks us to execute our own improvisation after his

With Chopin we reached the first non-French composer of the program

Chopin was a fervent Polish nationalist but despite that he lived most of his short life in Paris

And Debussy with all his studies, preludes, dances, nocturnes etc was not exempt to her ..

This Chopin's nocturne that I´m about to play, according to many musicologists, is a kind of autobiography of his or rather of his illness.

Chopin died of tuberculosis

and in this work he writes a singing voice where each sound is preceded by a silence

as if he had difficulties breathing before saying each word or phrase.

The work is very dramatic

then the waters calm down a bit

and finally the initial issue returns but this time still much more desperate, as if the difficulty to breathe was increasing.

Then comes Faure's nocturne

It is also a very sad work but now sadness or pain is always a little more distant or reserved

a difference with Chopin that seems to serve his heart on a plate.

And in the third place there is a party with Chabrier, who writes this work where he boasted of having written more addresses than in any other work.

It is a work in which some of the more important figures of the moment such as Ravel or Cortot speaked marvelous things and incredibly does not appear anytime in a program.

Then, the work of De Falla, was commissioned for the anniversary of the death of Debussy but rarely wasn´t called and Hommage, something very common in Debussy, contrary he took the title of Ravel who wrote his Tombeau de Couperin.

De Falla to write this work took the elements that Debussy uses in his many Spanish music

and it is curious that being the two composers, pianists, De Falla writes here what was his only work for guitar.

And to start and finish the block I choose 2 Debussy pieces, which I think that are the ones that best describe him as a person and composer.

Before I started, I said that the preludes used to be works that gave rise to the following movements

but already with Chopin they became works in themselves

this was copied by almost all the composers of romanticism who wrote their 24 preludes and Debussy did it too and in this case I choose the N12 of his 2 books.

It's very interesting that Debussy does not name them, that is, there is not a title before each one,

TICCI TOBY CHIBI | Drawing CreepyPasta ART CHALLENGE and Story - Duration: 10:47.

Hi everybody. I am going to draw Ticci Toby today and I thought that would be

cool he is one of the creepypastas and a lot of you have asked for him so I

thought that would be really neat and I actually looked up some things about him

he has quite the story and I do want to tell you a little bit of the things that

I found first of all I'm going to do this in pencil traditionally and then

I'm going to put it into paint tool Sai and color it digitally so I thought that

would be neat and again I am just getting started drawing again so don't

expect too much and I'm learning as I go so this is kind of fun for me and I

especially like looking up creepypastas because I think they are so cool and you

guys really seem to like them I know back when I was young I loved the

creepypastas and as you know I did Sally already and I did slender and I do want

to do Slenderman again because I did him only digitally and I would like to draw

him with pencil and then pull him in to paint tool side like I did with the

others but I also did Baldy from baldies basics and I thought you know that was

kind of fun for me so if you have any ideas of anything that I should draw let

me know and I will add it to my list but look at some of the stuff I found out

about Ticci Toby first of all I didn't know how to pronounce his name seriously

I went looking and actually I hope I'm saying it right okay but it said that he

is Ticci Toby so I didn't know it had that CH sound so I almost came on here

and said it totally wrong which you know I've done that before I've done that so

much like with you guys names and everything but if you look at this I

went to villain's dot vici accom and found Ticci Toby

almost said it wrong again and he has a lot about him up here I'm

just going to read you a little bit that I did find now here's where it tells

about what he's like it says the boy lacked

any normal appearance anyone could blandly see blandly see wait a minute

that something was wrong with him his messy brown hair went in every which way

and his pale almost grey skin was brought out by luminescent lighting that

sounds kind of cool doesn't it his eyes were dark unlike his mother's and he

wore a white t-shirt and scrub pants that had been provided to him by the

hospital the clothes he had worn before were so shredded and blood-stained

that they weren't actually wearable anymore so it looks like he has quite a

scary story now I don't want to go into a lot of details because you know it's

it's kind of disturbing a little bit but let's look at his personality did you

see this picture of him oh my gosh this is like kind of scary to me and somebody

drew this apparently I don't know who drew it so I can't really say but anyway

let's look at their personality his personality

it says toby is usually upbeat and hyperactive however he can occasionally

be a very sarcastic person and he will occasionally be uncomfortable due to his

bipolar disorder okay that that could be a little scary so in other words he's

going to be in a good mood sometimes and in a really bad mood and it sounds like

he got in a really really bad mood I don't know everything about his past but

apparently it's pretty sad it says he is shown to be temperamental when he is

able to change from being very emotional to being angry or happy instantaneously

making it impossible to speak to him at times in spite of this he can show

kindness toward certain people and he is also shown to be a treacherous

troublemaker so it looks like he's been through a lot and let's see what else

they say about him again this is probably not everything there is

to know about Ticci Toby because I could not find anything on the actual

creepypasta website I searched and it was the same as it was with Sally when I

searched for Sally Williams I had trouble finding things about her so I

kind of looked and there's a lot out there on all of these different

characters so you know you kind of just got a read a round look at what they say

and it looks like a lot of people write stories about them too so there's a lot

of fan stories so of course they're all going to be different right so it's

really gonna be hard to know but let's see what it says about his past he has a

tragic boy who was born with several mental disorders and was constantly

bullied until he went insane and killed his father okay that that's a little bit

scary okay seems like he's got a lot of problems yeah I would say definitely a

lot of problems okay he was found by Slenderman and serves as one of his

proxies okay I don't know what this means I do not know what slender man's

proxies are so I'm gonna look into that because that is kind of different and

seems like a lot of these creepy pastas they put them together with Slenderman

why is that a Slenderman seems to be at the center of the creepypastas it's kind

of weird how that works but I noticed that Sally it said in some of the

stories was also friends with Slenderman so I'm gonna look up and see what

proxies are and if you know please tell me in the comments because you probably

know a lot about Ticci Toby and also if I'm saying this wrong please tell me

okay because I did actually look it up and found a place that had the

pronunciation and everything but you know how do you know that they're right

I mean seriously okay let's see here

it's said he had many different mental disorders making it very hard for him to

fit in with people his disorders caused him to be unsuited for a public school

surrounding I can see why I mean oh my gosh my goodness I can't even imagine

him going to school can you okay along with owning him constant bullying so he

was switched to homeschooling early on okay oh wow that's just weird so

somebody actually tried to send him to public school

who would bully him maybe they didn't know that he could kill somebody I don't

know but I don't think kids would want to bully him so anyway he grew up with

little or no friends and he lived with his mother his older sister Lyra and his

father when Toby was 16 his father and he were involved in a tragic car

accident resulting in Liras death oh my gosh that is sad isn't it

and then after the death of his sister is apparently when things started going

really really downhill and I can understand why not I can't understand

why he did what he did but I know that it's really hard to lose somebody that

you care so much about but it says that his symptoms got worse and worse and

worse and he was losing more and more memory and taking out his stress yeah

I'm I think I'm going to stop here because his story is really really

disturbing and really scary okay so you know you can look up his story and it

says that he woke up with no memory of his past life and soon became one of

slenderman's proxies but this is after he did apparently a lot of bad things

and he lost control and attacked his father and did a lot of things okay so

let's go down here and look at his disorders so porta cheeto B he

definitely had some problems okay he does have a lot of disorder

all kinds of amnesia and different syndromes and symptoms and he had a lot

of victims it says here his father a middle school kid yet probably somebody

bullying him I did look up proxies and I want to tell you what I found there are

different types now there are the hallow'd which are those who have been

totally dominated by him and they act upon his will the berserkers are those

who are under his control but can act on their own so apparently they can make up

their own mind kinda the sleepers are those who are under slenderman's control

but are not aware that they are and that sounds really cool to me the agents are

those who act for him despite not being under his control so apparently they

just have totally free will and the revenants are those who have returned

from the dead and use human vessels which is really weird so anyway guys

there is Ticci toby and if you have any suggestions of who i should do next let

Hey guys! It's Gabriel. Welcome back to my channel.

So this video's going to be about two things:

One is BonChon chicken and the other is billiards.

BonChon chicken, if you don't know what BonChon chicken is--

Actually, the correct name is 본촌 ,

because it is a Korean chain, but a lot of people just say BonChon.

Even other mixed or full Korean people, we say BonChon, so it's like the "American way".

But BonChon chicken, it's really really good, BUT very expensive.

It's basically Korean-style fried chicken.

You can get chicken with bone. You can get boneless chicken.

And it comes in different flavors, too.

I think the one that we got was soy garlic...I could be wrong.

To be honest, this was a long time ago for me.

I can't remember what our total was, but it was pretty high.

Just for me and my sister, and then a little bit for baby Noah so.

We also got parmesan fries.

I actually didn't know that they had that.

My sister was like, "We need to get the parmesan fries".

And I was like, "What is that?"

It tasted really good. I was kind of mad we didn't get extra.

I was actually really surprised to find that when I came back to America,

there was one about 15 minutes away from my house.

They've opened so many restaurants in Virginia, so it's exciting!

I could only hope and dream that GongCha becomes the same thing.

If you guys don't know what GongCha is, it's basically a bubble tea restaurant here in Korea.

I believe it's originally from Thailand.

In America, it's only kind of starting to become popular in California.

I'm definitely hoping that GongCha, and other places that I've come to love in Korea,

become even more popular.

But there is definitely something unique and very special about Korean fried chicken.

With their sauces, you definitely have to try it.

Make sure you bring a lot of money.

But, it's really really good.

I was definitely excited to have BonChon. It had been a while.

It was my first time having it since I'd been gone.

So, I'll show you guys the video from that.

I believe BonChon is also in Korea.

They also have like a KyoChon or something like that.

In America, BonChon is definitely becoming a lot more popular.

Especially, since I haven't been home,

Grace: They gave the white raddish, too. You didn't say that.

Oh yeah...white reddish.

Before I left to go to Korea, BonChon was not here.

But now it's here! Now, we're gonna eat.

If you get just regular fried chicken,

It will have more of a crunch to it.

If you get the signature chicken, which will come with really sweet, sometimes spicy sauces,

those will be drenched in the sauce.

And it still has that kind of crunchy taste to it,

but it's not like what you think of when you have like Popeyes or KFC.

It's not THAT kind of crunch, but it is still really um...

it has some [crunch noises].

I'm like the worst at describing food.

If you try it, you'll understand what I'm saying.

Chicken on bone can be...really fresh,

and that's great and all, but

I just don't like the hassle, so I would always prefer to just go boneless.

It is more expensive to go boneless.

So that was basically what was going on during that morning.

Towards the afternoon I had planned to go visit Anthony.

We were going to hang out with his friend named, Manny.

Anthony and Manny are actually really good friends since college.

And I ended up meeting Manny through Anthony.

So inadvertently she became my friend, too.

Actually, she and I both kind of left Virginia around the same time and

here we were, both visiting again around the same time as well.

So Anthony was definitely having a really good time.

Because of us.

We had an idea to go have Korean BBQ

at a place called Iron Age Grill.

I heard it was like kind of over the top and

it's also really dark, so I was just excited for the experience.

But when we pull up to the place, you can see that the wait was actually really long.

Gabriel: Rainbow...

Anthony: Oh god, do you see? There's like a wait!

Anthony: Are you effing kidding me?!

Gabriel: Anthony, why are you so loud in my Snapchat right now?

(Anthony laughs)

Gabriel: Gosh!

So after that, we eventually parked the car.

We go inside and that's when I got to have like a little bit of a taste of what Iron Age is about.

I think the music was actually really loud. It was really dark.

I heard it was going to be dark in there, but it was like REALLY dark.

And I was like, "How can you even see the food?"

But like I said, it's like you go there for the experience.

I heard that it's also really expensive too.

Unfortunately, the wait time was really really long and we didn't have time like that.

So we did end up deciding to go to this place called Honey Pig.

I've always heard the name of this place, but I've never actually been there.

So I finally got the chance to go.

And I understand why it's popular. The food was good.

쌈장 , it's been my favorite type of dipping sauce.

It's not really a sauce. It's kind of like a

mushy...powder?

It's not even powder.

I'll show a picture or something, but I've become obsessed with it in Korea.

Meat, 쌈장 , and rice is like the best thing.

Although I will say it's not very traditional Korean.

If you wanna go like full-blown Korean culture, then you have to like

have the lettuce, and put in your rice

and then put in the meat, and then put in the 쌈장

and maybe some of that dipping sauce with the pepper and salt

and you make it all up

and the lettuce is like this huge ball and you just go like--

I don't do all of that.

My mom gets mad at me whenever we do have these kinds of foods because

I just go straight for the meat, and rice, and the sauce

and then I just eat it.

It's much easier. It's much simpler.

I'm not waiting like forever.

So the waiter comes by and I'm like, "Sorry, can we get some 쌈장? "

And he was like, "Are you guys Korean or half Korean or something?"

And we were like, "Yeah".

Apparently he could tell because of the way I pronounced " 쌈장 ".

Maybe other people in America are like, "Can I have some "sam jang".

I really enjoyed it and I had a lot of fun,

but I think Manny and Anthony were

used to being there.

I know especially for Anthony, he wanted it to be really special

and going to Iron Age would've been like "DUN DUN DUN".

Actually every time I say the name

I feel like it's like the Game of Thrones of Korean BBQ restaurants

but yeah, maybe next time.

After we finished eating there

we decided to go get some dessert.

Down the line of stores, you can find a cafe shop and

we decide to go in there and have some bingsoo.

Gabriel: Wait, what kind of bingsoo is it?

Green tea, that's right.

After the green tea bingsoo, we went to another place.

I've actually never heard of this place, but it's called Kokee Tea.

Kokie?

Kokiee.

I don't know how to say it.

Hello. It's 9:30pm.

I'm here with my friend Manny.

Anthony.

Oh, Kokee. Kokee Tea.

They have some interesting bubble teas here.

A lot of them are clear. They're like legit teas.

What did you get?

Anthony: Um...

Gabriel: Oh you got the...rose something.

Anthony: Yeah, rose.

Gabriel: Kiss from the rose! Just kidding.

(Manny laughs)

But rose something. And I got white crystal which was recommended.

And they're both really good

Instead of the black bobas, they have some white--

--actually in Korea I think they have these, but they're not squared.

They look just like bobas, but they're just white and clear.

Anthony: We should ask someone to take a photo of us.

Anthony: Someone with an iPhone.

And then after that, we decided to do one last thing together

and that was play billiards.

So, we go to this place.

They had loud music. You can get drinks.

It's kind of like a billiards club basically.

I don't remember the name of the place, but it was very close to Kokee.

We're obviously not professionals.

Anthony's probably like, "Speak for yourself".

We were just kind of playing to have fun.

And the thing is, it was impossible to make teams because there was only three of us.

It's 10:12pm. It might be a little hard to hear me.

But we're playing pool right now.

Gabriel: Did you get one?

Scratched.

Gabriel: Actually, yeah she does.

I wanna say we played about two games,

and then we pretty much called it a night after that.

When people get to know me, one of the things that they learn about me

is that it's not so much what we do.

What I remember about the time that I spend with other people

is more so about the things we talk about.

And that's what made this day so special for me because

Manny and I haven't been able to talk in a long time so

I feel like usually we stay updated in each others' lives through Anthony,

so this was our first time really being able to come together

and share our stories and talk about the things that we've gone through

for the last couple of years.

That was probably for me, the best part of the night.

To be able to just like, reconnect.

Not just one this day, but as you guys have seen throughout

the last couple of videos, that's what's been so special about

my time in America and that's what made it so rejuvinating for me

to be able to come back to Korea and see through the rest of

however long this journey's gonna be.

So we're definitely getting closer to the end of my time in America.

There is one more very special

I take that back, there's two.

But one BIG one. This is kind of what this season's been accumulating to.

As you guys got to see,

I surprised a couple of my really core group of people

It all started with me surprising my nephew, Noah,

and then I surprised my childhood friend, Alex,

and then my cousin, Brittni,

and then obviously, Anthony.

So the fact that I was even able to meet up with Manny was because

I was actually planning for that weekend for Alex, Anthony, and Brittni to

come down to my place in Richmond

and for all of us to basically spend the weekend together.

So that's what the next couple of episodes are going to be about.

And I'm really excited to share it with you guys.

This was, literally like my heart and soul.

This was the best time for me because I was with like, you know, my family basically.

To be able to have everyone together and to be able to spend that quality time,

yeah, it just meant the world.

So I'm really excited for these episodes to come out and

I hope that you're looking forward to see them too.

Today is a very special episode.

It revolves around the people that are truly and deeply important in my life.

We're all on our way to Short Pump now.

The sun's setting a little bit so it's gonna be very nice and beautiful.

The ultimate goal was just to go to Short Pump,

hangout, shop around, enjoy the views, and then eventually have dinner

at one of my favorite places: Cheesecake Factory.

One thing that I was not anticipating was a photoshoot.

Hands down...one of the best parts of the day.
