Troll Gift Exchange - Duration: 7:45.

this is our third annual troll gift

exchange and this year we are playing it

a little differently so usually we have

about a week right and we draw names and

we have a week to go shopping for it for

secret elf or secret Santa so basically what we do

is we get troll gifts for each other

that's under a spending amount. This year

however we all didn't get gifts a week

in advance we all got here at the same

time and we're gonna exchange it at

the same time so we'll see how it goes

this year the rules like you have to

explain why you got it and like why

it's significant to person that you got

got it for ok so it has to

you guys are gross

that's the first rule. The second rule is

you have to, it has to be more than eight

dollars but less than $10

Makes sense?

Timmy: yep!

5:10.

5:20. Everyone back at the car

Jerms: Wait, how come we don't go to the other side

where there's Ross

Aaron: well you can, if you can make it there

Jerms: Wait, we got to walk there

Aaron: Ya, you have to walk there

Jerms: What the freak?

Aaron: Alright? Here we go

I first want

ice cream

so I'm off to get

ice cream by myself

shopping here no idea what to get my

secret elf right now

I mean I see a lot of different things

pots and pans

but there's no meaning to those.

We shall see. I see nothing, I see nothing

like 20 mins left

we are running. well, I'm running.

I got my first purchase

I don't really have a good explanation

of why I got it yet, so i gotta make it up

yo. you shopping for yourself?

shopping for yourself right now?

sure about that? we have like 10 minutes

left, alright?

Jerms: Are you done?

Aaron: No

Jerms: actually I am shopping for myself

Aaron: We trying to be

like hiding our stuff because we don't

know who we got but I definitely see what

he's holding in his hands and he sees

what I'm holding in my hands so he's

trying to play it off. Hopefully what

he's got is not for me because that's pretty dumb

dude. That's pretty dumb.

you finished everything, you bought everything

for everyone?

Jie: 4 things

Aaron: 4 things?

congrats! How much did you spend?

Jie: $11.98

Aaron: $11.98

that's two dollars more than our spending limit.

dude. hey, car's this way

right now. what time is it? Timmy?

Timmy: 5:01

Aaron: 5:01, that means we

just made the mark, well we passed it by a minute

hopefully we got all we got I think Jie

and Jeremy are already in the car so

we'll see what we get

they got

for the rest of us.

let us begin with

who wants to go first. let's play a game.

A simple b&w. Odd one out goes first

Kay. Ready?

odd one so Jeremy explain your gift and

explain. explain what, you can explain

however you want. Whoever its for or

you can just explain what it is first

its up to you.

Jerms: kay. um...

got my gift for Aaron

Aaron: okay

First gift.

I got this

Aaron: the freak is that?

Jerms: Because he's childish

Jie: It's a baby's clothes

so what, senior?

Jerms: Cuz he's freaking childish

next I got this

because he's extras

have you seen him?

and lastly i got this because it's a

I literally bought this because it was pretty funny

what is it? show us what it is first

it's like one of these things that to

two in one things.

It says, um.

one 3.5 millimeter male plug referring to the

this one.

with two 3.5 millimeter female

ends.

Aaron: ew. What the heck?

Jerms: Referring to these ones.

Aaron: what is it for?

Jerms: I don't know, I just bought it.

Aaron: You're stupid. Alright.

Jie: How much did you spend?

Jerms: Probably like $11.

Aaron: Mmkay.

um. So he picked

me. Therefore, I'll go next

Oh I have some candy.

alright so

I got Timmy.

and first I got him a blender bottle

blender bottle because... what are you

doing? hey, you wasted my candy

Jerms: Holy Moly. That thing is gross.

Timmy: What?

Aaron: They're pretty good.

Timmy: It's not even that bad.

Jerms: Trash

Aaron: Hey.

Throw it away.

But anyways,

I got him a blender bottle because. um.. he's

starting to run and workout and he

actually needs to, you know, start eating protein

and protein shakes and stuff so blender bottle

for timmy. Here you go.

Jerms: Good gift. How much was that?

yeah it's pretty expensive. $6 right there.

I didn't even take off the price tag

Jerms: that's like 13 bucks though.

well you know what? Welcome to Tj maxx

where everything is cheaper.

2nd of all

stop eating it if it's trash

Alright guys,

I got him a mug

that's says wisdom because he definitely

needs a lot more

So here you go

Here you go timmy.

alright

Jie: What was your spending?

Aaron: My spending uh was

$10.78

Jie: Wow

Aaron: $10.78

yes but if I was gonna give him the

candy as well but that would have made

it like 13 bucks

Jerms: It's not that bad if you eat it slowly

Aaron: Can you not?

Alright, Timmy.

Jerms: You went to Ross?

Aaron: shh

Timmy: My person was jie.

I got her

Jerms: Dang it, I was the one who originally ended up with Jie.

Timmy: And I got her.

a Disney

bath products

cuz she loves Disney.

so she can also stay clean

Jie: stay clean?

Aaron: How dirty do you think she is?

Give me some more (candy).

Jie: What was your spending limit?

Timmy: $10.78.

Jie: Impressive.

Aaron: Just from one thing? oh.

Timmy: just some random figurines

Aaron: trash.

your gifts are the worst.

Jie: Thank you.

Aaron: Alright, that means you got Germs.

Jie: I have Jeremy

So I got Jeremy also a blender bottle o ok Jerry love

Aaron: oh

Jie: cuz Jeremy loves

copying Aaron and

Aaron has one. So whatever he

has, chances are Jeremy also wants.

Jeremy: False-oh.

Jie: that is true. You guys are so much alike

and then I got him spoons that are peppermint hot

chocolate

he is relatively lazy sometimes so he

probably doesn't want to make his own hot chocolate

but they're also spoons. so all you have to do is

dip them into water and you're good to go.

Aaron: ew, water? Not milk?

Jie: No, just put it in water and it'll melt.

here.

and your bag and receipt.

A Great Little .22 With Tons of History. - Duration: 8:21.

Hi. This is Joel Persinger. I'm the GunGuy.

Thank you very much for watching my

videos. I really, deeply appreciate it. You

know, in a world in which everybody wants

to shoot really fast, and lots of ammo,

and blow everything up...

Now, honestly, I love videos like that and

I'm sure you do too... But, it's nice every

once in awhile to slow down a little bit

and look at some things that maybe

happened a long time ago, things from

bygone years and perhaps some skills and

some practice we ought to revisit.

That's why I'm bringing up this little

Springfield J. Stevens 22. Now, if you

have one of these or you've seen one of

these and it was labeled

Springfield or J. Stevens or Savage,

it's pretty much the same rifle either

way. It's a Model 15. They're super common. If

you haven't seen one, you probably will

somewhere. This particular one was made

probably in 1937 or 38. You're not going to

find any serial numbers on them, because

they were made before serial numbers

were required. Because the law changed in

1968. These things were made a long time

before that and, like I said, this was

made probably late thirties. If you look

at the patent number you can kind of

figure that out and get close.

It's in great shape. They're really

simple little rifles with a simple stock

and there's nothing fancy about them.

Simple little bolt action. Single-shot.

You've gotta feed around every time and shoot.

And so, obviously you can look at them

and say, "That's pretty boring." But it's

really not. When I was a boy I learned to

shoot on a single shot rifle. Now, in my

case it was an Ithaca Model 49, but it

could've been anything. My daughter, my

son... both learn to shoot with single-shot

22 rifles because it forced them to make

every shot count.

That's where they learned the basics

of marksmanship. They learned how to hit

what they're shooting at the first time,

rather than spraying and praying. There's

a lot to be said about learning to shoot

with a 22.

There's a lot to be said about learning

to be to shoot with a single shot,

because it forces you to learn those

skills. In any case, this is a great

little rifle. It shoots wonderfully. I

did take it out to the range and

shoot it, so let's go see. I've done quite

a number of videos, I think, at

this point on single-shot twenty-twos.

The kind that you buy... I mean, now you can get

them for kids. You can buy a brand-new or

the ones that were given to children

decades and decades ago. Like this

Springfield Stevens model 15. These

things were a staple there for a while. I

mean, it's kinda like the little Ithaca

Model 49 my dad gave me. Single-shot

rifles like this were priceless

additions to a

young child's training for rifle

shooting, hunting, target shooting...

whatever it is they wanted to do... in a

day when those things were not poo-pooed

and not look down upon. In my

humble opinion, I think we've lost a lot

in some states and in some locales where

people don't get their kids into

shooting with wonderful little rifles

like this one. This thing was built

a long time ago and because these were

built before the gun control act 1968

there's no serial numbers on these kind

of guns. So it's very difficult to locate

exactly the year they were made in, but

one thing's for sure they were made

extremely well and they're very sturdy.

They're really simple, but they're very

accurate as you will see. You can take

rabbits with them. You can take small

game with them or you can just go, like I

am, out at the Rainbow Range and knock

down little steel silhouette

animals with them like we're going to do

here.

Alright. Let's get the tree animal. They

are single shot, so in the case of this

one, like some others, you have

to close the bolt and then cock it each

time. But you can see it's accurate. I

mean, it's just

really right where it needs to be (Clang!).

I love that sound.

That's a great sound when you're

shooting steel, when you hear the clang.

You know you hit something that was

really exciting. Or that clang noise

or whatever. But you can see that they're

easy to shoot. One nice thing about

them, I really like about them is that it does

force the child to slow down because

they have to be able to load one round

at a time. It's not like a semi-automatic

where they can just press the trigger as

many times as they want to. They have to

take their time and make their shots

count each time. I found as a kid

that I took more rabbits as a kid than

most of my friends, because I was given a

single shot 22 and I had to make every

shot count, where they had pumps and

repeaters and they didn't have to hit

every time. They could keep pressing the

trigger until they got what they wanted

pretty much or they ran out of the 15

rounds or 14 rounds or whatever they had

in the gun and I didn't have that luxury.

I needed to hit what I was shooting at

each and every time and I had a

grandfather who took me out along with

my dad and my cousins and so on and

taught me how to shoot with a little

single shot 22 just like this. I

credit that time with the time I learned

wonderful fundamental things like sight

alignment, breath control, trigger press,

hold control, mounting the gun properly.

All of those things I learned with a

little single shot 22 not that different

really in its operation, a little bit

different but not that different, from

this little Savage Stevens, which you may

have had. So if you had a little single

shot 22 leave me a comment. Let me know

what you thought of yours. I can tell you

these things are absolutely wonderful

and I'm still a great big proponent of

children being given these and being

taught to shoot with single shot guns.

That is the marvelous little Springfield

J. Stevens Model 15. Now as I said, you

might find them with Springfield or

Stevens or Savage... same thing, just a

different day I think. But terrific

little rifles. If you ever spot one,

you'll find they're made really well and

you know you won't pay a pretty penny

for 'em. I think they sold for about 3

bucks or five bucks or something when

they were first sold brand-new. How ever

many years ago that was... 1937 or 38.

You're going to pay more for it than

that now obviously, but you can probably

pick 'em up for a song and if you ever

do, they're a great little rabbit gun. I've

taken many a rabbit with a single shot

22 and this one would certainly get the

job done.

Besides which, it's kind of fun to just

slow down once in awhile.

Thank you very much for watching my

channel. I really do deeply appreciate

the fact that you do. Now if you're not a

member of the National Rifle Association

and you like gun videos, you should be. So

I want to urge you to join the National

Rifle Association and I've made it as

easy for you as I possibly can.

I've got a link in the description that

will take you to a special spot on our

website. It'll save you some money so

that you can join the NRA for less than

the cost of one box of ammunition for a

year's membership. See... I got you a deal.

I don't know about you, but I like deals and

I got you a deal to join the National

Rifle Association. So please join. Now, if

you have guns for home defense or you carry

a gun every day like I do and there's a

chance you may ever have to use it,

you're going to want some legal backup.

Otherwise you're gonna get creamed in

court either civil or criminal after

you've defended yourself no matter how

right you were at the time. So I want to

urge you to sign up for Second Call

Defense. That's the company I use to

defend me and my family if I ever have

to defend myself with a gun.

I want to urge you to check them out and

I've got a link in the

description for you to do that. It will

take you to a special spot on our

website where you can check out Second

Call Defense.

Thank you again for watching. Have a

wonderful week. Please subscribe. That's

why we've got that big logo floating

around for you to do that over there.

Subscribe, and that way we can let you

know when new videos come out. Have a

great week and please be safe.
