Is this the REAL reason Kim Jong-un disappeared? North Korean leader emerges after 15 days
KIM IS MISSING: North Koreas leader has resurfaced after 15-days without showing his face. Kim resumed his state visits on Victory Day – the anniversary of the end of the Korean War – with a visit to a war cemetery in Pyongyang.
Photos released in North Korean media show the tubby tyrant paying tribute to soldiers in graveyard as he solemnly celebrated his grandfather's "victory" over the US.
But speculation is now running rife as to why Kim was absent for such a long stretch – when he is normally seen visiting factories and farms around North Korea.
His disappearance comes after there was suggestions he could go into hiding following the emergence of US plans for regime change. As Kim came back, North Korea also launched their first ballistic missile since July 4.
Gordon Chang During his 15-day absence, North Korea threatened to hit the US with a "nuclear hammer" after the CIA suggest deposing Kim. CIA director Mike Pompeo hinted defence chiefs were open to the possibility of ousting the dumpy dictator.
North Korean state-media KCNA said: Should the U.S. dare to show even the slightest sign of attempt to remove our supreme leadership, we will strike a merciless blow at the heart of the U.S.
with our powerful nuclear hammer, honed and hardened over time..
KIM JONG-UN: North Koreas leader was seen at their ICBM on July 4.
NORTH KOREA: Kim has been testing nuclear weapons to strike the US. Back in April, analyst Gordon Chang predicted Kim may go into hiding for a lengthy period if he feels threatened.
He said: "Kim's father, Kim Jong Il, disappeared from public view for about six weeks in 2003 at the time of the Iraq war. "Kim Jong-un loves the public spotlight, and it will be telling if he similarly goes into hiding.".
Last month, it also emerged South Korea had also sanctioned a plot to kill Kim if they believed he was going to fire an ICBM.
Spooks plotted to stage a car crash or a railway accident in order to get rid of him and secure leadership change. There were rumours last year Kim was involved in a car crash after he disappeared for 11 days.
He said that the US would HAVE to retaliate if they hit Alaska. Plans were also laid out for a coup to secure a friendly puppet-regime in North Korea, reportedly signed off by now-impeached South Korean president Park Geun-hye.
Kim has reappeared as rhetoric ramps up over potential conflict between the US and North Korea. Daily Star Online revealed the devastating consequences of a war with Kim, as experts warned "tens of thousands will die within hours".
