AI UX | Minimize Intrusion | Intel Software - Duration: 4:00.

This is AI UX, a miniseries focused

on 10 guidelines created to assist you

in the design and development of AI-based systems.

I'm Daria Loi, an Intel researcher.

And today I will talk about guideline number two,

adopting the minimize intrusion mantra

with a less is more data approach.

The more data you fit into a system,

the more the system will learn, improving its algorithm's

efficiency and accuracy.

Having said that, you must be thoughtful in your data

approach.

When designing and developing AI systems,

use minimalism as a compass.

This means to only collect the data that is necessary for you

to successfully achieve the requested transaction.

For instance, if I recorded you 24/7,

the likelihood for me to accurately understand your life

and use algorithms to predict your future behaviors

would be higher than if I only had

data from a handful of motion sensors in your home.

Yet 24/7 monitoring would be intrusive and exhausting.

You would probably be hesitant to let someone collect data

on you all the time, as your personal privacy

would be compromised.

Just because a massive data collection

could make your AI-based system more advanced,

it does not mean that it should be pursued fully.

There has to be a level of respect and anonymity

for your users to ensure that people will embrace and use

an intelligent system.

Research interviews I conducted made

it clear that the more someone becomes

familiar with an intelligent system, the more they trust

and feel comfortable in using it.

To establish familiarity, careful design

and considerations are needed.

One of the participants in my research

was originally skeptical of smart home systems,

explained that she considered the technology

only after her husband purchased the system.

Once the system reached their home,

she took some time to get familiar with it.

As she grew more familiar and her comfort with the system

increased, she started exploring advanced capabilities

and felt open to embrace more systems

to refine her smart home abilities,

even if that meant allowing her systems to collect more data.

She was able to do this after realizing

the value of the technology through daily use, validating

that it was a safe technology, and after realizing

that the system value-add justified additional data

collection.

Familiarity and trust are crucial if you want someone

to feel confident using your AI system.

This process takes time, patience, and respect

for user preferences.

Based on these findings, I have concluded this recommendation.

Adopt the minimize intrusion mantra and a less

is more data approach.

The minimize intrusion mantra is something

you should always be saying to yourself while designing

for user experience.

You can follow this mantra by setting

the system default settings and a basic level

with basic function.

Additionally, the less is more data

approach should be followed by collecting, using,

and storing only the necessary amount of data.

Make it so the user can change these things

later on once familiarity is established.

A smart system should dynamically

change settings based on direct user's request or feedback

loops.

Keeping your design less intrusive

and being thoughtful about your data collection and usage

will greatly improve your user experience design

and will help the user be comfortable enough

to try your experiences again.

Thanks for watching.

Don't forget to like this video and subscribe.

And I will see you next week on Tuesday for more AI UX.

Take Just 3 Grams Of Ginger And Watch What Happens To Your Body In 2 Hours! - Duration: 2:41.

Take Just 3 Grams Of Ginger And Watch What Happens To Your Body In 2 Hours!

Ginger is a spicy herb that has a number of health benefits. It has the ability to boost

the metabolism, and fight digestive tract problems. Ginger also stimulates the body

to better soak up the nutrients from the consumed food, and it can help get rid of the contaminants

and other waste in the body.

During The First Hour

It could be an instantaneous remedy for treating abdomen pains because ginger can boost the

natural plants of the stomach due to the thermal energy it releases when it is ingested.

Your body absorbs all the nutrients and substances in the ingested ginger during the first hour

and these nutrients can aid the repairing of the cells that are damaged by the anti-oxidants

contained in the absorbed ginger. During The Second Hour

The second hour is the period when all the benefits of the ingested ginger start manifesting.

Here's a list of some of the health benefits of ginger during the second hour of consumption:

Gingerol fights against inflammatory conditions of rheumatism, or arthritis. It is an active

anti-inflammatory ingredient of ginger that is now inside your body.

The anti-inflammatory compounds in ginger can relieve menstrual pains, as well.

It can be used as a remedy for treating nausea, vomiting and dizziness.

The anti-inflammatory substances found in ginger also have the ability to block the

harmful influence of prostaglandin, which is a substance that can trigger the blood

vessels in the brain to swell, which can lead to migraines.

Ginger stimulates the burning of the extra fat, which will enable you to lose some weight.

It can calm any intestinal pain. Gingerol is an antioxidant that can help treat

colon cancer. The best way for consuming these 3 grams of

ginger is by infusion, and to do that you need the following;

Ingredients:

3 grams grinded ginger 1 spoonful of pure honey (optional)

½ lemon or organic lemon juice (also optional) 1 cup of clean water

Preparation And Use:

Start by boiling the water. Then, add the 3 grams of ginger into the boiling

water. Leave it for approximately 4 minutes.

Afterwards, add the honey and the lemon juice, which is to your taste.

You can drink this ginger tea in the mornings before having breakfast, on an empty stomach.

But, this drink isn't recommended for lactating moms or pregnant women. Additionally, avoid

giving it to a person who suffers from blood clotting problems

Subtitles are available in English and Portuguese

On today's video we're going to teach you the pronunciation of R and H

Ana, eat the chicken. - OK.

Eat the chicken in the microwave?

No, it's cold! Eat the chicken before you eat the chicken.

Eat the chicken before you eat the chicken. Ah!

Heat the chicken

Heat the chicken before you eat the chicken. Right!

In some languages the H is silent, so some people have trouble pronouncing it

But if you don't pronounce it you might be misunderstood like I was in our story

The H is produced by passing air through the throat and mouth

There is no friction, no hrhrhr

Let's compare these pairs. Repeat after me.

The rise and fall of the Assyrian Empire - Marian H Feldman - Duration: 5:17.

Before the sun never set on the British Empire,

before Genghis Khan swept the steppe,

before Rome extended its influence to encircle the Mediterranean Sea,

there was ancient Assyria.

Considered by historians to be the first true empire,

Assyria's innovations laid the groundwork for every superpower that's followed.

At its height, in the 7th century BCE,

the Assyrian Empire stretched across modern Iraq,

Syria,

Lebanon,

Israel,

and parts of Turkey,

Iran,

and Egypt.

Its wonders included a vast library and large botanical and zoological park.

But the story of Assyria's rise to dominance began many centuries earlier,

in the Late Bronze Age, in a city called Ashur.

Ashur was a tin and textiles trading center

located along the Tigris River in northern Iraq.

It shared its name with a god thought to be an embodiment of the city

and later of the entire empire.

For the administration-minded Assyrians, politics and religion were closely linked.

Around 1300 BCE, a high priest named Ashur-uballit I took the title of king

and initiated a tradition of military campaigns,

effectively transforming Assyria from a city-state to a territorial state.

This meant that a single administrative entity

oversaw many places, cultures, and peoples.

For the next 150 years, Assyria extended its reach and thrived.

In the 12th century BCE,

a mysterious catastrophe that still bewilders archaeologists

caused the Assyrians to lose much of their territory.

A few hundred years later, however,

Assyrian kings began a new round of conquests.

This time, they honed their administrative system

into an empire that would last generations.

Assyrians were military innovators and merciless conquerors.

During their conquests,

they used siege tactics and cruel punishments for those who opposed them,

including impalement and flaying.

The growth of their empire was due, in part,

to their strategy of deporting local populations,

then shifting them around the empire to fulfill different needs.

This broke peoples' bonds with their homelands

and severed loyalties among local groups.

Once the Assyrians conquered an area,

they built cities connected by well-maintained royal roads.

Often, when a new king came to power, he would build a new capital.

With each move, new palaces and temples were erected and lavishly decorated.

Although kings claimed absolute power,

we know that an extensive system of courtiers,

provincial officials,

and scholars influenced affairs.

At least one woman, Sammuramat, ruled the kingdom.

Assyrian rulers celebrated their military excursions

by having representations of their exploits

carved into the walls of their newly built palaces.

But despite the picture of a ruthless war state projected by these records,

the Assyrian kings were also interested in the cultural traditions of the region,

especially those of Babylonia, a separate state to the south.

Babylonia had been a cultural leader for millennia,

stretching back to the beginning of writing

at the end of the 4th millennium BCE.

Assyria saw itself as the inheritor and protector of this tradition.

Assyrian rulers supported scholars

in specialties ranging from medicine to magic,

and the capital cities, like Ninevah,

were home to elaborate parks and gardens

that housed plants and animals from around the empire.

One of Assyria's final rulers, Ashurbanipal,

sent scholars throughout Babylonia to gather up and copy ancient literary works.

Ashurbanipal's library took the form of clay tablets

inscribed with cuneiform in the languages of Akkadian and Sumerian.

The library was lost during the final sack of Ninevah in 612 BCE.

But thanks to a 19th century archaeological excavation,

many masterpieces of ancient literature,

including the Epic of Gilgamesh and the Babylonian Creation Epic,

survive today.

After centuries of rule,

the Assyrian Empire fell to the Babylonians and Medes

between 612 and 609 BCE.

Yet the innovations that the Assyrians  pioneered live on.

Their emphasis on constant innovation,

efficient administration,

and excellent infrastructure

set the standard for every empire that's followed them in the region

and across the globe.

Immigration Story: Martin Wallner - Duration: 1:15.

I'm originally from Austria, I've been here in the United States for about 10 years,

now on a green card.

I'm the founder and CEO of Macro.House, a company that provides housing for people

who are new to Austin.

We have about 5 full time and 5 part time employees right now, and provide housing for

about 100 people.

I moved here the first time in 2003 as an exchange student in high school.

I lived with a family in Houston, a wonderful family.

I'm still in touch with them.

They actually made me fall in love with the U.S.

I did want to come here always since I'm little.

So I came back for college, and then after that I had to leave because of the visa situation,

but I came back.

I had to reapply later on for an H-1B.

Now I have the Green Card.

But I always felt like here in the United States, that I... even though I have a small

accent still, I'm not born here... but I never actually feel different than anybody else.

I feel completely part of life here.

This is my country.

Arctic Zero Review - Cookie Dough Chip | Giving AZ another shot - Duration: 6:09.

Well, I'm gonna give Arctic Zero one more shot, right after this. Hey, guys. Welcome

to A.D. Keto. My name is Aaron. This is the channel where I talk about the

ketogenic diet. I do some keto food vlogs, I do some keto product reviews, and I do

some keto recipes. If this is your first time here, please consider subscribing,

and if you do, be sure to click the bell icon so you get a notification whenever

I upload new content. So a couple weeks ago, I did a review of Arctic Zero's

Brownie Blast flavor. You can find that review right up there. Suffice it to say,

I did not...I was not a fan. If you've seen my reviews before, you know I do a three-

part review. The first part is the texture.

What's it feel like? Is it easy to get out of the container? The second part is the

taste, and the third part is the carb situation. And Arctic zero Brownie Blast

failed miserably in two of those three areas, at least in the pint I had.

The texture of Brownie Blast was :{

Frosty as all get-out. The taste... Brownie Blast was Brownie Whisper, at best. Like,

it was not tasty at all. Carbs were okay, if I remember correctly. I don't really

remember what the carb situation was, actually. So I didn't eat any more of it

after the review. I brought it upstairs to wifey, Sara, and she said, "You know

what? This is actually pretty good." I was like, "What?" She's like, "Yeah, once you let

it melt, it doesn't taste bad at all." So I had another bite of it.

I couldn't tell a huge difference. Maybe I was just being jaded and difficult, but

I decided to give Arctic Zero one more shot, with this flavor: Cookie Dough Chip.

And it has been sitting out for roughly half an hour. I got it out of my freezer

about a half an hour ago. So I'm gonna give this a go. Like I said, texture, taste,

carbs. Those are the three things I'm most concerned with. Okay, here's the

messaging: "Arctic Zero - Enjoy at its creamiest by thawing your pint for 10 to

15 minutes before digging in. Can't wait? microwave your pint for 30 seconds." So

it's been twice as long as that. It's been about a half an hour that this

thing's been sitting out. Again, papery... papery lid, which is fine. You know, more... maybe

environmentally friendly. There it is. That is cookie dough chip. That's what it

looks like, and I can tell that the sides of this pint are a little mushy. Soft. So

let's see how we do here. That's pretty good. I mean, pretty soft. It's still

really frosty, you guys. Like, even though it came out of here okay,

it's... it's kind of... it's the same issue I had with that other pint. It's

just kind of like... a gooey, slushy / gooey sort of odd consistency to it.

Really not a fan of the texture of Arctic Zero. And again, the taste is... I'm

just gonna give it one more shot, here. I feel like I'm straining to taste it. I do love my

subtle ice creams, but I'm searching for some taste. It's pretty bland, really.

Bland and disappointing, cuz I do like my cookie dough. Let me take a quick look at the

nutrition. We've got: serving size is half a cup. As usual, four servings per container.

75 calories per serving, so 300 calories in the pint. 2.5 grams of fat, 3 grams of

protein, and 11 total carbs, 3 dietary fiber, and 1 insoluble fiber. So that's 11

minus 3 is 8, minus 1 is 7. 28 grams of carbs in this pint. So not the best. Looking at the

ingredients here: purified water, whey protein concentrate, milk, organic cane

sugar, chicory root, sugarcane fiber cookie dough (which is unbleached

enriched flour, wheat flour, malted barley flour), niacin, reduced iron, thiamine...

thiiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid, cane sugar, brown cane sugar, butter,

cream, salt water, sea salt, vanilla extract, sodium bicarbonate, baking soda,

tapioca flour, dark chocolate chips (which are cane sugar, chocolate liqueur...

chocolate liqueur, cocoa butter, organic vanilla extract, then they've got guar gum,

xanthan gum, natural flavours, sea salt, monk fruit concentrate. I'm out of

breath, y'all. That's a lot of stuff. I mean, nothing is like SUPER-terrible in there.

It does say that it's GMO-free, rbst-free, lactose-free, low glycemic index, low fat.

But just not doing it for me. this may be the coup de gras for Arctic Zero as far

as this guy is concerned. I had high hopes that this would be at least a

little bit better than Bar Brownie... Barney Blast... Brownie Blast, but feeling the

same way about this one. Let me know if I'm missing the magic flavor of Arctic

Zero. Which one you think is the best? Because both of the pints that I've had,

to this point, are just not doing it for me. So that's it for this review. I hope

you enjoyed it, guys. Let me know what flavor of Arctic zero I should try, if I

try any others. What's the best one? What could... kind of win me over? Let me know.

What you think about this, if you've had it? I really appreciate you watching. I

hope you have a fantastic day, and I will see you next time.

aye aye aye aye aye all right um

How to Paint a Ferrari 488 Black - With Oil Paints, Narrated - Duration: 5:12.

Hello my friends and welcome to another Tuesday of tutorial!

I am Leonardo Pereznieto and today we will paint a black Ferrari.

The canvas has been previously toned gray and the linework

of the car is done.

We begin by painting the sky blue and then while it is wet

we lightly paint some clouds.

And smudge it.

I lightly go over them with a fan brush, for this.

Right underneath will be the sea.

Inspired on the french Riviera,

so we add a more intense blue.

The lower part of it, will be lighter so we add more white to the mix.

Like so… and blend it in.

And right underneath there will be some green hills and the road.

We add different tones of greens and brown to these plants

and a little lighter version, to these ones further away.

And now let´s hit the road [laughter].

It will be made of different tones of gray, and since we want the car

to look in motion

it is important to make the strokes in the direction of the movement.

We add a cast shadow.

As you see I have been painting what is further away first, what is

in the back, and then I have been coming forward to what is closer

and closer.

And what is on top of everything else is the car, so I leave that one for last.

You don´t need to follow this approach necessarily, but I find it helpful

and I recommend it... to paint what is on top, last.

And now the next step is to add the blacks.

The blacks of the car.

Well, actually the whole car will be black [laughter] but what I mean is that

right now I paint what it will stay black, the darkest, because most of the car surface

will be reflective in some way and so will be a bit lighter.

Or a lot lighter in some cases.

This is a Ferrari 488 by the way.

I´m using a very small brush and with this, let´s add some

curving reflections.

Like so.

And now that we have the blacks in place, let´s add the whites.

The lighter of the reflections.

In this way we will have the darkest and the lightest and everything

else will be in between.

Obviously most of the white reflections, will be facing up

facing toward the sun.

Good!

Now let´s begin adding some of the gray in between.

There can be many degrees of gray.

It is a little bit tricky I have to say to paint a black car

because one would tend to want paint everything black [laughter]

but it will look pretty flat.

Ah-- you need to think of the reflections.

And of the different tones created.

Let´s add some white by the black for contrast.

It will be pretty dark here.

We will do the glass, the windows also with these colors.

The complete list of materials, as always, is in the information below the video.

I love drawing and painting super cars, sport cars!

That is definitely one of my guilty passions [laughter].

And I know for this painting the drawing was already done,

but if you want to learn to draw cars I have a whole playlist of videos

that teach you how to draw them.

I will link to that list at the end of this video.

We painted the wheels and now tail-lights.

It is very important when painting the wheels and the tires that if

the car is in motion, you don´t do them in-detail, like with the spikes of the wheel

it is more like you only see a blurry reflection.

That shows the speed… and I darken a little more some of these spots.

Also to help with the illusion of the speed I may pull back some little treads of paint.

As if as slight glare was left behind the car.

Very good!

It´s ready!

If you enjoyed it please give it a LIKE! share it to your friends

and subscribe to Fine Art-Tips.

And I will see you, on Tuesday ;)

World, there's a secret in this place (shimmy shimmy)

Closeness is like a mask-like gimmick (give me give me)

We believe in something that can't be touched

Woo, you know this too

We know this too, woo

What I'm closer to is (wild)

A wall that is greater than this sound (you wild)

I can't take it anymore

Woo, I'll break it down

Woo, I'll break it down, break it down

Whatever I touch I take

The moment you feel my body heat

You'll fall for me yeah

I know you want

Come closer and touch me

The world is ours, world is ours

Don't you know I'm a

Boss that leads you

Don't you know I'm a

Player that moves you

Don't you know I'm a

Boss that leads you

Don't you know I'm a

Boss that leads you

Don't you know I'm a

Player that moves you

Don't you know I'm a

Boss that leads you

Don't you know I'm a

Move however I lead you

Extend your hand even higher

I'm tying together a different you and me

Tied up once again, it's a different us, different us

I'm your absolute boss you want (I like that)

If you want me, have me, it's my choice (I like that)

I wanted us to meet eyes even more, man

That's what I need

You know me

Only follow me

I wanna take you far away without fear

I want to draw out an even bigger us yeah (Draw out an even bigger us yeah)

As if everything has been born again, come into my world

Like fish in water, everyone sings

Don't you know I'm a

Boss that leads you

Don't you know I'm a

Player that moves you

Don't you know I'm a

Boss that leads you

Don't you know I'm a

Boss that leads you

Don't you know I'm a

Player that moves you

Don't you know I'm a

Boss that leads you

Don't you know I'm a

Just give it give it give it

However you feel

A little closer closer closer

Trust me and come to me

Now close your eyes

Breathe in my world that will spread before your eyes

You're beautiful enough just as you are

Communicating with fingertips, that's fake, throw all of that away

Instead, fly to you, dive to you, directly

I can make it make it work for you

I became the boss for you

Useless posts, no need

I'll make you appear, I know how you feel now

Fear none

We eye to eye

I'm the boss to the world

I'm the guy who'll burn you up

Hot dog feel like I wear goose goose

I'm gonna catch up lightly fly

I'm gonna directly knock on your door bell, this is a direct sign

Don't you know I'm a

Boss that leads you

Don't you know I'm a

Player that moves you

Don't you know I'm a

Boss that leads you

Don't you know I'm a

A world that is only found outside this world (Boss that leads you)

A world that is only found outside this world (Don't you know I'm a)

A perfectly harmonious world (Player that moves you)

A perfectly harmonious world (Don't you know I'm a)

So anyone can come inside this circle (Boss that leads you)

So anyone can come inside this circle (Don't you know I'm a)

I wanna send you my song (Don't you know I'm a)

DANCE BREAK LES GEDDIT
