The Making Of BlocBoy JB & Drake's "Look Alive" Video With Frederick Ali | Framework - Duration: 5:24.

Bloc actually called me.

He was like, "Ali, what's up?"

He said, "Guess what?"

I said, "What's up?"

He said, "Man, guess who I'm finna do a song with?"

Drake.

"Man, get outta here."

I'm like, "You playin'."

He was like, "I'm dead serious.

Showed me the messages and everything and like right after I see it like ten minutes

later Drake called me.

He was like, "I need you to shoot the video."

We need to gon' ahead and get everything together."

So in my head I'm like, "Me?

Alright, let's go.

Let's get it!

The way this video actually embodies the song, this was the inner city of Memphis where

people don't just really get to see.

Drake was saying he just wanted us to pick out the spots that signify a lot to us.

What we didn't want to do was do the generic Memphis places.

We didn't go to any tourist spots.

When we dropped the song, the video dropped right then and there at the same time because

it was important for everybody to see this video when they first heard the song.

So the beginning of the video, this is Shelby Drive.

To my left, we got Southland Mall.

You got South Brooks over here.

The little shopping center.

I honestly think it was about 30 degrees outside.

You're not supposed to fly your drone when it's this cold outside and I lost complete

signal with the drone.

It actually landed in some apartments right here.

That's where I ended up finding my drone, like, "I shouldn't be in these apartments

but I'm finna get this shot."

The gym is actually Penny Hardaway's gym.

People know his gym so that was a necessity.

We had to go to that gym.

Everybody right here...This is Bloc Nation.

You got Drake here.

You got BlocBoy JB here.

Like everybody in this one spot.

It was crazy.

Like everybody had a good time.

Him doing the shoot dance.

In my head, we kinda figured he was gonna pop it out.

I'm behind the camera crying laughing 'cause he's actually doing it and then he threw in

the "Hotline Bling" move with it I was like, "Ok, he's been practicing this move 'cause

he can actually do it when he adds something else to it."

When he hit this move I was crying laughing.

Now we're at Club Love.

Everybody in Memphis know Club Love.

This is where everybody really be at.

It was really packed, but everybody who was here did not even know we was coming up.

We were down there just dancing and stuff first.

Bloc was down there, then Drake hopped over off the VIP section just hopped on the floor

with everybody and started dancing too.

After ten minutes of them just straight dancing, doing whatever, Drake was like, "Ayy, just

play the song."

He gave the DJ the song, they played it and we just started shooting the video.

This is the Chicken Master, also known as Pierre, but we call him Chicken Master.

I seen him do it for the first time I said, "Ayy, I don't know what you doing" but

I was like, "Ayy, just keep doing this."

There's something about this move that just stands out and he just kept doing it.

He actually made a song about the dance, but that shit hilarious.

This was the most difficult shot to even get.

FedEx would not let me in with this camera equipment.

I had everything and they were like, "No."

What they ended up saying was if I film anything I can't shoot the court.

Do not shoot the court.

Bloc and Drake, they was court side. So they're actually on the floor.

Drake had called me.

He was like, "Hey, be on the lookout."

Drake knew once he got on this court, they gon' put me on the big screen and the

funny thing was after we got off the phone they put him on there immediately.

And I was like, "He was right." Just recording it.

This Moneybagg Yo.

He made an appearance to the FedEx Forum game.

He just so happened to be at the game too.

Even when Z-Bo, he made his appearance in the video.

It was everybody you know and love in Memphis who was seen in this video.

Now we are at Bloc hood.

On the block.

What made this a very important spot for Bloc to even shoot at was just for the fact that's

what just made him.

He grew up at this spot.

That's where he became BlocBoy when he was here.

It was real big for him to come back to this spot so no matter where he go in the future

you gon' always remember where he came from.

Some people might just hear a cool feature and everything, but people in Memphis know

and even a lot of people outside of Memphis understand when they saw the video, this meant

a lot to the city.

For them to actually use Memphis people to do the video…

The producer, Memphis, Tay Keith.

Everything about this whole thing was just Memphis.

Memphis verified.

Alright, right here this is the best part of the video.

I'm telling you, hands down.

The, "Yo Ali!"

Teufel Ultima 40 Aktiv - zweiter Kurzeindruck - Duration: 6:24.

put up your headphones!

just very shortly as I have the run of the house

in some minutes my people will be back

I have just finished my video of the Neumanns and iLouds

and I thought I will use the time to turn up the Teufel Ultima 40 Aktiv a bit

last time I couldn't because of my son

but now I am alone and we can push them

they are not standing ideal, and although the room is quite large there are not that many options

therefore I am more a fan of small speakers

but let's have a listen

of course you must listen with headphones, this is a binaural recording

I mention it again and again, but I get comments repeatedly like this:

"I heard this with my JBL Xtreme"

yeah, but then this is not what you should hear in reality!

yeah, I will turn them up and let's listen to the first track

I will stand a bit closer to you

obviosuly we are standing here in quite a big room mode

you can hear the bass...

we should almost turn bass back a bit

maybe something like that

that's of course not maximum

it goes way louder, but...

maybe this

I noticed Bluetooth is a bit... hmm

but otherwise sounds really nice

maybe this here

the whole room vibrates

yeah everything vibrates

what else do I have here?

maybe something slower?

I also don't want too long in order not to bore you

simply so that you can hear how this sounds in a big room

as mentioned placement is not ideal

but I have hardly any better option

what I miss a bit with these speakers...

I wanted something else, what's this?

as soon as you turn volume up, you get some real power

but below a certain level, there doesn't come much

especially if you want to listen as some background

I even think the Audio Pro here would sound better

I will attach them, because it is still a mess

you will hear, they do not sound really worse

the remote control should be somewhere

that would be it for now

I think also my memory card is becoming full

I don't have much space

yeah, I only wanted to show you the Teufel Ultima 40 Aktiv again

or "active", depending on...

I like them a lot, of course with some limitations

I miss a bit the sound quality at low levels

then they do not sound that thrilling

for such a loudness level, I really find the Audio Pro more interesting

and as mentioned, Bluetooth seems to cause some problems

I noticed it, but I have to check this more in detail

of course there will be a full review soon

I hope I can get something similar so that they become more comparable

because I have nothing in this size

yeah, I hope I didn't bore you, ciao, see you!

Just to pour that motherfucker down the drain like me?

Would you use your water bill to dry the stain like me?

Are you high enough without the Mary Jane like me?

Do you tear yourself apart to entertain like me?

Do the people whisper 'bout you on the train like me?

Saying that "you shouldn't waste your pretty face" like me?

I'm gonna find

and I'm gonna kill

every last one of them

And all the people say

You can't wake up, this is not a dream

You're part of a machine, you are not a human being

With your face all made up, living on a screen

Low on self esteem, so you run on gasoline

I think there's a flaw in my code

These voices won't leave me alone

Well my heart is gold and my hands are cold

Everyone I have cared for has either died or left me

After all we've been through

Everything that I've done

It can't be for nothing

Are you deranged like me?

Are you strange like me?

Lighting matches just to swallow up the flame like me?

Do you call yourself a fucking hurricane like me?

Pointing fingers cause you'll never take the blame like me?

No matter what, you keep finding something to fight for

You can't wake up, this is not a dream

You're part of a machine, you are not a human being

Why MEN MUST Learn To Be DECISIVE - ENFP & INFP Tip - Dreams Around The World - Duration: 5:57.

Hey Dan here and in this video I want to share a little thought about being more

decisive and making quick decisions I'm learning to make quick decisions to

become a decisive person has so many benefits it is generally very appealing

if you are a man I hate to get you know all gender roles and blah blah blah

about it but women like decisive men generally people like decisive people it

shows confidence it shows you know a quick-thinking ability all this sort of

things so making decisions is attractive great it will free up so much time in

your brain it is such a nice thing to just like make a quick decision right

what should I do boom try that do it it's done sometimes it works sometimes

it doesn't the thing is is any decision you make there's a good chance you're

right and there's a good chance you're wrong that's sort of how decisions work

how you tend to get better at making decisions is through experience right

yes you can like read books and watch videos and all that but generally we

tend to learn from our own experience and so the more experiences you have the

more you learn you learn probably more from bad decisions than from good

decisions I don't know if that's been your experience but it's definitely been

my life experience where when you make good decision sort of like all right and

then you go on where you make a bad decision and you reflect on it and try

to figure out what went wrong and tried not to make that same mistake again

right so my thought is if you make quick decisions and you just trust your

instincts make a decision and it happens to be wrong then you learn a lot right

your intuition gets better and you're more likely to make the right decision

the next time but I think our our intuition is sort of like our sense of

direction if you're using Google Maps to find a restaurant five blocks from your

house probably the part of your brain that deals with directions orientation

it has checked out it's down in Mexico at my life design fiesta event it's just

sleeping at the back of the room it's not doing anything because it's like hey

listen this person is real ah Google Maps they don't give a crap about

having a sense of direction or knowing how to navigate

I'm checked out I'm not needed here right this is how our brain works if you

don't use parts of it because you rely on like an electronic device or other

people or whatever then you're not then it's going to go it's gonna atrophy it's

not going to be strong and useful and all that right so this is what I figure

our ability to have a good intuition and make decisions it's the same way is if

you're never trusting your intuition and you're not really using it you're

overthinking everything you're asking people a dozen times like hey what

should i do what should I do and it's like little things your intuition to

gonna say like all right this guy doesn't listen to me anyhow this is a

waste of my time I'm gonna go to Mexico with Dan for this playoff carbon event

intent and forget this because it's just not worth putting in any effort right

thinking of your intuition as if it was personified right so I think giving

yourself like trusting in yourself basically to make good decisions will

ultimately allow you to make good decisions you sort of have to put the

carriage before the horse right start trusting yourself start making quick

decisions and then learn from those and what you'll find is that your intuition

gets better and better your judgment your wisdom all those things will

improve in the short term one of the benefits like I mentioned is you free up

a lot of space in your brain I got a message the other day from a writer that

I'm working with about the project we're working on and it was potentially a very

big decision like what she was asking I could have sat down and I could have

made pros and cons list I could have spent hours on this thing but I read the

message it made sense to me what she was proposing and I said yeah let's do it

I trusted my intuition and am I gonna be right or wrong I'm pretty sure I'm gonna

be right but even if I am wrong occasionally then I will learn on that I

will you know figure it out it will help me but in that day what that meant is I

regain like two hours of my time because I wasn't spending it over thinking like

what should I do with this you know what the right thing Bravo blah blah blah now

I'm not saying to make every decision like really quick to just be impulsive

with everything but I think for most people my experience with especially

like in the free freelancer program in our group program and with just a lot of

people in life is that most people lean towards indecisive and not believing in

themselves and most of the time they should be believing in themselves when I

actually you know get down to it what they want to do makes a lot of sense

they have a lot of like good intuition they just don't necessarily trust

themselves so if that is you I would encourage you to start trusting yourself

to start believing your intuition giving it a try following through on it and

then you know change the result after that learning to be decisive will have a

really really significant impact on your life and is really worth the investment

and the risk of trying it out with some decisions now and just you know making

that easy for yourself in the future so that's it short video today hope it

helps you with taking back a little bit of your sanity and a little bit of your

time do you want to make a quick decision right now subscribe to the

channel before it's too late catch you in another video soon have an

awesome day

THEY'RE COMING! MASSIVE Crusade Of INVADERS Marching To U S Right NOW To Annihilate America - Duration: 5:51.

An unprecedented angry army of Crusaders are making their way toward the U.S. right now

, and are bringing complete chaos and destruction with them .

Thes invaders are organized and have a horrific plan to annihilate America . By the sheer

size of their massive migrant caravan, they can't be stopped and are prepared to do

whatever it takes to take over.

A former Secret Service agent is warning everyone , border patrol agents are abandoning their

posts to protect themselves . The army of invaders are expected to make it here in about

a week and are bringing hell with them that must be stopped before they get here.

However, most of the mainstream media is strangely silent about this horrendous ordeal which

we will all soon be faced with.

The group of approximately 1,000 mostly-Honduran invaders started their trek to America on

March 25 which began in the far southern Mexican town of Tapachula , the Daily Mail reported

. They have already made it 150 miles on foot and are picking up steam as President Donald

Trump ripped into Mexico Monday morning for knowing that this army of asylum-seekers were

coming here and refusing to do anything about it.

Trump tweeted that Mexico had "absolute power" to stop the caravan before they got

too far but let them continue marching on toward our border where they plan to riot

in Puebla, Mexico when they arrive there between April 5-9.

From there, they will force their way into the U.S. by all means possible and will demand

asylum and will not quit until they get it.

"THERE IS AN ARMY OF INVADERS APPROACHING, ABOUT A WEEK OUT TOPS!

THE FIRST GROUP WE SAW ATTACK OUR BORDER PATROL AGENTS WERE PART OF THAT BIGGER GROUP OF HUNDREDS

OF THOUSANDS OF INVADERS HEADING OUR WAY!

I REPEAT!

INVADERS ARE APPROACHING OUR BORDERS, ABOUT A WEEK OUT!!" concerned citizen, Cai Irvin,

wrote on Facebook including a picture and video of the invasion coming our way.

Despite the massive lack of media coverage, likely because leftist outlets don't see

the clear and present danger that this group is, Trump is furious and not taking it lightly.

"They must stop them at their Northern Border, which they can do because their border laws

work, not allow them to pass through into our country, which has no effective border

laws," Trump announced today on Twitter.

We have the power to stop it or fight it even if a citizen militia forms, but without media

attention on it and people being warned what to prepare for, the invasion will be here

before anything can be done about it.

We can't wait until it's too late.

The Washington Examiner reported what this caravan is already celebrating as a victory:

According to an account from the Center for Immigration Studies, Mexican authorities have

allowed the migrants to drive north "with relative ease."

Researcher Kausha Luna added that the group Pueblo Sin Fronteras, which aids immigrants,

bragged about speeding into Mexico.

It said, "On Monday Pueblo Sin Fronteras posted a video with the caption, 'The Refugee

Caravan knocking down borders yesterday in Huehuetan!

Immigration agents abandoned the post when they saw us coming.

The people celebrate this first small victory!"

Locals have also provided supplies along the way.

Their goal is to cross into the U.S. this weekend and demand asylum.

But they have also prepared special security measures should something go wrong, according

to Luna.

"Additionally, the group practiced security protocols, including formations which called

for the men of the group to form a wall around the women and children.

Moreover, the Central Americans made their way to Mexico's Commission for Refugee Assistance

and made calls for better compliance with international and national laws, faster processing

of asylum applications, and an increase in acceptance rates," she wrote.

This is likely a victory for the left as well who want endless amounts of illegals here

regardless of the hell they bring on our system that they will inevitably overwhelm.

If nothing is done to stop this invasion before it gets here, the fallout from it will most

assuredly be blamed on Trump as well, regardless of the fact that he's the only one harping

on it now and being ignored.

The Daily Mail reports:

At its current rate, the caravan could reach the U.S. by early May, or earlier, if the

immigrants speed up their journey with trains or buses.

Reports from the road indicate that Mexican authorities have been abandoning border checkpoints

to let the group travel unimpeded and that locals are helping the caravan along the way,

donating food and water.

This has infuriated President Trump, who took to Twitter shortly after 7am Monday morning

to demand action from Mexico and the U.S. government.

"Mexico has the absolute power not to let these large 'Caravans' of people enter

their country," he claimed.

Assaulting his opposition in the U.S. legislature, Trump also said, 'Congress must immediately

pass Border Legislation, use Nuclear Option if necessary, to stop the massive inflow of

Drugs and People.

"Border Patrol Agents (and ICE) are GREAT, but the weak Dem laws don't allow them to

do their job.

Act now Congress, our country is being stolen!"

Trump went on to call America's border laws 'pathetic' compared to Mexico's in the

Twitter rant that invoked a trade agreement between the two countries and Canada that's

being renegotiated on his orders.

He argued that Mexico is 'making a fortune' on the North American Free Trade Agreement.

"With all of the money they make from the U.S., hopefully, they will stop people from

coming through their country and into ours, at least until Congress changes our immigration

laws!" he said.

Mexico doesn't seem the least bit interested in stopping the army of immigrants this time

as they have never done anything to slow the constant flow of border crossers before.

These people will become America's problem and no longer Mexico's which is exactly

what they are hoping for.

Is There Less Oxygen in the Winter Since It's Colder? - Duration: 2:59.

[♪ INTRO]

Back in elementary school, we all learned that trees are awesome.

And not only because of climbing and tree forts, but because they make the oxygen you breathe.

Your cells need oxygen to convert food into usable energy, so you'd die without it.

And you probably also learned that trees and other plants make oxygen

using a little chemical reaction called photosynthesis.

Using light energy from the Sun, they can combine carbon dioxide and water

to make sugar and oxygen, with a little leftover water.

But if you take that train of thought one step further: during winter, when it gets

colder and darker and those trees drop their leaves, there's less photosynthesis.

So is there less oxygen too?

The answer is actually yes!

But only a tiny bit less.

First off, you can breathe easy, the Earth has plenty of oxygen,

and the amount in our atmosphere is pretty stable.

By volume, about 21% of the air we breathe is O2

and almost all of this oxygen is from photosynthesis.

But trees and other plants that grow on land aren't the only source of it.

About half or more of the oxygen in our atmosphere comes from a bunch of microorganisms

in the ocean called phytoplankton, which photosynthesize too.

Although the oxygen they make gets dissolved in water first,

instead of going straight into the air.

In fact, the most abundant photosynthesizer on Earth

could be a marine cyanobacteria called Prochlorococcus.

Photosynthesis in the ocean also varies seasonally.

At higher latitudes in the summer, the Sun is higher in the sky

and sunlight penetrates deeper into the ocean.

So phytoplankton get more light, photosynthesize more, and make more oxygen.

Warmer water also holds fewer dissolved gas molecules.

Because warmer molecules are wriggling around with more energy,

oxygen can break away more easily and escape into the atmosphere.

Now, it wasn't until the 1990s that scientists started regularly measuring

how much O2 changes seasonally.

At a few different stations around the globe, they collect air samples in flasks

and compare them to standardized reference samples.

What they actually measure is changes in the ratio of O2 to N2,

because nitrogen gas levels stay pretty constant.

And they've found that O2 decreases by about 24 parts per million by volume

during the winter in the Northern Hemisphere.

Since the atmosphere is about 210,000 parts per million of oxygen,

that change isn't very much, only about 0.01%.

Now, there is a little bit less seasonal variation in oxygen in the Southern Hemisphere.

More of the Earth's land masses are in the Northern Hemisphere,

and all of those land plants release oxygen directly into the air.

That means there's a slightly bigger change in winter

when they're not photosynthesizing as much.

But, all in all, you can thank the plants and phytoplankton for keeping you alive.

And even during the winter, there's still plenty of O2 for you.

The Long Game with Land Lots | The Big Story | Real Vision Television - Duration: 3:26.

Yeah, so I wanted to bring you here, because it's basically like the

east side of Vancouver.

It's more on the outskirts.

It almost borders Burnaby, which is like the adjacent city,

and it's basically very familyoriented.

You get a lot of renters.

Like, none of these houses are going to be like vacant.

So this is more like what you typically find for people that

are just here working hard and trying to afford a single family home.

I see, and what would something like this sell for in today's market?

They have this one listed at like $1.3 million.

So it's like, it's a smaller lot.

Yeah, what are the stats on this one?

Like how big is it?

Yeah, it's a 3,500 square foot lot.

This one's kind of unique, because the house is only 650 square feet, but it's

like a three bedroom.

So I don't really know how to make that work, but basically

I think what's going to happen is someone will come in here, they'll

buy it, and then they'll plan to tear down and build something new.

But basically, the way I look at it is like the lot value for something like this

is really about $1.1 million.

And again, it's on the outskirts of Vancouver.

Like, we have a very noisy busy highway behind us.

And is this common to see a property of this size and scale in this

neighborhood selling for over a million dollars as a teardown?Yeah, this is completely normal.

The typical teardown around here is like $1.1, $1.2 million, because this is a

little bit smaller, a lot closer to that busy highway.

I see it around $1.1.

I see, and what's in it for the group or the individual buying this and

doing the teardown development?

Are they going to make money on the transaction?

Are they going to be able to build something and flip it?

Are they going to live in it?

What is the most likely thing to happen here?

I don't see it as like a speculative class.

I see this more as like a family looking to set its roots and live here for

the next 5, 8, 10 years and really raise a family.

Because this is one of those more affordable areas, where

if you're trying to buy a single family home, this is where you're going to

get your feet into the market, so to speak.

And what about the house?

Let's say you were able to build a 2,500 square foot house here.

What would that rent for?

The full house?

Yeah.

You'd probably get, on the high side maybe, maybe $4,000, if it's a

newer home.

I see, and so if you looked at the mortgage cost, your estimate was

what?

It was going to be worth roughly 1.5, 1.6 if it was finished?

Yeah, I think by the time you buy the lot for around 1.1, throw a new

house on there, yeah, you're probably looking at least 1.5, 1.6.

And so $4,000 a month is not going to cover the mortgage

probably.

No, definitely not.

I see, and these all have basements and stuff on this neighborhood?Yeah, it's almost all

basement suites, just again to support that mortgage.

But as an investor, usually you're looking at it as like a long-term play, being like

OK, I'm probably going to lose money on this every single month.

But the value of the land is going to keep going up,

so that's where I'll make my money.

Nolife TV : Elansar - Orion interview (english subtitles) - Duration: 19:04.

Hello, today I'm with Cedric and Medoc and we will talk about the homebrew scene

and a project called Elansar, welcome to ExtraLife !

Cedric, thank you for accepting our invitation, can you talk a bit about yourself ?

Do you work in the video game industry ? What is your education path ?

First, yes, I work in the video game industry.

I started when I was about 10 years old, I had my first computer, an Atari.

I was a casual gamer.

-Was it a 520 ST ? -Yes, a 520 ST, then 1040 STe..

It was lame, I had an Amiga 500

There was a war between Atari & Amiga :)

So I started with this computer, I was a casual gamer, I played with my sister.

And, at some point I felt like I wanted to do like the people who was creating those games that I played.

I wanted to create a game myself, like, you insert a floppy and then the game starts with a nice intro, etc...

I started to try making a game.

-you were 10 years old ? -yes, 10 years old.

With the Atari, as well as the other old computers, what was nice is that

the BASIC language was included with the computer

so you could just take the book and start to learn BASIC by yourself

so, that's how I started programming.

First I typed some basic programs showing text, then small drawing with lines.

Step by step I began to progress.

So, you had magazines with BASIC listing that you were typing in the computer ?

Not really, because I was born in Reunion Island, and there we didn't have all those magazines

We had some magazines about Atari, but not the one where you had the BASIC listing.

But, yeah, at first I tried the example programs that were given with the BASIC manual.

There are lots of things that I missed, because I didn't know it existed, but I was trying to do what I could with what I had.

So, when did you decide to make it your main job ?

I mean, being a programmer.

It was when my school asked me what I wanted to do in the futur.

As I was doing this since I was very young, I choose to go to a programming school.

Where was this programming school ?

in Paris. I came to Paris because there was no programming school in Reunion Island.

That's how I went to Epitech

I went to this school, and when we had to do an internship, I tried to find one in a video game company.

That's how I went to GlobZ, a small video game company

and that's how I really started to work in the video game industry.

-so your first company, is GlobZ. -yes

And, since when do you work here ?

I work since 3 years and a half, but I made all my internship there so, it's more than that.

About the homebrew scene, can you explain what is "homebrew" ?

"Homebrew" is creating a game ..

but, instead of doing it professionally, it's more amateurish, you do it at home.

you do it with limited resources.

there are communities for each console

what is nice about the homebrew scene is that

per community, there are, programmers, players...

Players are encouraging the programmers to create games

Programmers are helping each others, trying to understand how the machine works.

Using internet, people from all over the world can help each others, so we can learn faster.

What is "crazy" about this is that, you come here with a project called ... Elansar

And this project is planed on ... what consoles ?

Atari Jaguar, Atari Falcon, PC Engine and Playstation 1

Wow wow wow, OK

so Jaguar ok, weird, but ok, nice.

How does it ...

I mean, in general, for me, a game studio

have some development tools given by the console maker

how do you create a game on the Jaguar ?

I mean, how ? how do you do it ?

That's a bit complicated

That is what makes homebrew difficult, because you don't have the official development tools.

And even if you have it, it's not "legal" to use it.

even if the game console is not sold anymore.

The challenge of some developers is not necessarily to create games

but to try doing something on an unknown game console.

and, what is nice ..

I mean, there are some people who prefer technical stuff

and once, the "tech guys" found a way to make something working on the console

then the game developer come in and use these technical infos to actually create a game.

at first, people who are very skilled with hardware programming

try to open the console and try to find how it works

electronic guys can also help programmers understand the inner working of the console.

they can create an interface to link the console and a PC computer

so you can send your custom programs inside the console memory.

A recent example with the NeoGeo

Until recently, there was only one team that was making games for the Neogeo

But they didn't shared anything with the developers community

so, some new people came in and tried to understand the NeoGeo hardware and with the help of each others, we can now develop for the NeoGeo.

What is the *click*, for example you really like video games, and you want to create your own game

why choose an old video game console ? for example the PC Engine

instead of doing a game for PC computer, or PSN, or XBLA, or iPhone

What fascinates me ... In fact, I'm fascinated by old video game consoles. How they work.

For example, how people worked on old computers back then

There is a bit of nostalgia too, because I had an Atari when I was young.

There is also the fact that old machines are easier to understand, easier than a complex modern PC.

Well, now you don't have to understand how works a modern PC, because the are lots of tools for creating games.

But I find this less interesting because there are so many people creating games for PC

There are so many big company creating games for iPhone

It's really difficult to compete when you are a single developer.

It's easier to create games on old machines than on modern ones.

There is one question on this Elansar project, you are alone !

You decided to make it alone, so you are a programmer, but you needed to learn how to create graphics

That was a bit of a challenge for me

The initial thought was, I'm a programmer, I like programming on several consoles.

The challenge would be, I want to create a game, and port it to several different game console and computers.

Then, about the graphics, I didn't know any graphic designer, so the challenge was to create them myself.

I never was very talented at drawing stuff

so I thought drawing was out of the question

so I said, I can try to create 3D graphics, because it's a bit easier than drawing 2D graphics.

There are some nice software that can do automated processing

so once you have a 3D model, you just click the "Render" button and you get a nice looking picture.

Talking about this, we took a look at the game.

It's ok, the graphics are not too ugly.

even if it's running on pretty old consoles

-The video that we just saw, it's for PC ? -Yeah, PC

-Ah, ok -Yeah, but the challenge is to get the best possible looking picture depending on the game console.

-Did you do some testing already ? -Plenty, I did plenty of image processing test before starting this project.

and also select each machine, for example, Super Nintendo is out of the question

That would be nice to try mode 7, no ?

Elansar is a "Myst" like game.

It's a bit crazy because, at the time, Myst was known for being a reference in terms of computer graphics.

One of the best looking graphics game released.

And you, are not a graphic artist, you decide to create a myst like. The challenge is a bit high, don't you think ?

Yes, but in fact, I wanted to do this project since a long time, and I didn't until now because I was very bad at doing graphics.

I mean, the graphics I was trying to do were not good enough.

But recently, I found some new 3D software that could do some really nice graphics rendering.

So I tried some of them, and I found one software that do really stunning 3D rendering.

So I made some test and I finally started this project.

Ok, so, a "myst like" game, can you talk a bit about this game ? the story ?

The bottleneck is that, I'm a programmer but not really a story teller...

I had almost finished half of the graphics, and I still didn't had a good story for the game...

But I tried to write a small story while doing the game

asking for help and getting some idea to people I know

for example my sister who is in a movie school, she like to write stories so ...

I asked her for help and ideas for the game

but the story is not very developed like Myst was.

And does it takes place in a specific world, or something ?

Not really, it takes place on an Island

I wanted an Island, because it's easier to create in the software I was using

Then I tried to think about a story where a professor come to exile on an island

to find a secret about eternal life..

I don't know if people will like it but ...

so there are puzzles to resolves ?

head scratching puzzles ?

or did you just made a game, and for the puzzle & story we will see later ?

As for the puzzles, I was so afraid that the game would be too short

because, I said to myself, I'm making puzzles, it takes me lots of time to do it

but maybe players will find this too easy and finish the game in 10 mins

so, creating a game for 2 years for 10 mins of gameplay, that would be a shame ..

so I tried to create very hard puzzles

They are not, THAT hard in general, but well ..

And finally when I decided to ask people to try the game, that was a big moment

and, even people who liked those type of games, who were skilled in that kind of game

they played for about 2 hours, I was glad

I said to myself, 2 hours is nice for an amateur made game

But I warned people, I said, it won't be like a real Myst game with 100 hours of gameplay...

It's a one man made project

Stop me if I'm wrong but, for homebrew

There are 2 ways

Either you release your game, and you can play it on emulators

Either you release it, on a real cartridge

For example, you manufacture a Jaguar cartridge

You bring your Jaguar console, you put the game in, and voila, you can play the game on the real Jaguar !

On an old console, I don't know, Jaguar was released in, 10 years from know ? more ?

1993

Woooahhh, OK

PC Engine, it's older than that

I always preferred CD based consoles

First because I like the CD medium, my first console was the Playstation 1

And the advantage of the CD is that, you can burn a CD-R, you put it inside the console, and it works

So, it's very handy, and that was an easy way for people to test my games, that were freely downloadable from my website.

Now, for this more complex project, what I thought, was to make a complete boxed released

For most consoles, that will be a CD release

But for the Jaguar, that will be a cartridge

Why ? because I have some friends that are working in the electronic area

and they know how to create a Jaguar cartridge

because, I don't know anything at eletronics

My friends know how to make a cartridge, they made some prototypes

If we can produce them, we will need to produce that much, etc...

For this, there is 2 way, tell me if I'm wrong

The first way is to manufacture the cartridge from scratch

The second way is to take old existing cartridges, and change some components inside

You can do this but it's more complex, because you need to find the components from back then

And now you can't really find them anymore

The easiest way when you know electronics, is to design a brand new cartridge

that will cost less to produce

but finding old case shell for the cartridge is not easy, so in general we try to find old "new stock"

some people found old "new stocks" of empty jaguar cartridge shell so ...

so we will use these

On the Elansar project, are you satisfied about the graphic design ?

you tried graphic conversion on the 4 platforms we told earlier, on which platform does it look better ?

on the Jaguar ? Playstation ? I'm guessing the Playstation ?

I would say, the Playstation

Jaguar is nice too

The big problem on the Jaguar, will be, because of the cartridge

we will have data space problem, because shoving 100 high definition pictures inside the cartridge limited memory, will not be easy

on a CD you have space, but on a cartridge it's more difficult

you talk about other projects

what did you do before Elansar ?

Did you made games for other consoles ? what type of games ?

That was mainly puzzle games, because it's easier to do.

Puzzles, like, Tetris ? Puzzle Bobble ?

No, more like, board games, like you move things around, things like that

-You made a battlechess ? -Well, no ...

That was battlechess ?

Battlechess was way better on Amiga than on Atari ST !

In general, games on Amiga were better than on Atari ST

I found about that later...

But, at the time, I didn't know anybody with an Amiga, so for me it was only Atari

but then I realized that Amiga was a bit better

so, board games, what else ? on what consoles ?

I made one on the GP32, do you know this console ?

Yeah, that was the amstrad console ?

No, GP32 is a korean console

This is a portable korean console, it a bit obscure

It was an attempt to compete with the Gameboy Advance, at the time

I tried to make a PC Engine game

A racing game, that was not easy to do because

at first I tried and then I realized that it was not easy to do a racing game because of the physics

-top view ? -yes

Yeah, and on PC Engine there was already Power drift, so that was hard to do better

The PC Engine is very hard to program too, so that was not easy

What else ... On Jaguar I did some games

I made a little 3D game, I tried to make a small 3D engine

The Jaguar is not designed for 3D so, that was a challenge

-All those games, we can buy them, or download ? -You can download them on my website

All the games I did since now, are available on my website

so we need emulators for this ?

Either emulators, or for example for the Jaguar or some other console, you can use a CD-R

or if you have the development kit, if you know how to do some electronics

you plug a special cable on the PC and you can upload the game

so these games, we can download them, but are they free or ?

yes, they are all free

In general, in the homebrew scene, games are free

then if you released the game on a physical support, you have the cost of the materials

Yeah, the cartridge manufacturing, the cover

the manual

On your Elansar project, you are going to make a cover, a manual, etc...?

Yeah, I will try to do this

Because, as I spent some money on the 3D rendering software for Elansar

I thought that, a small fee for the game would be nice

and I thought, if people pay for the game, why not doing a physical release too

So you work at the company GlobZ

and at the same time you work on this project

Since how many time do you work on Elansar, and when do you work on it ? On weekend ? at night ?

It has been 2 years since I started Elansar

When I have time, when I go back home and I'm motivated to work on it

or on weekends when the weather is bad for example

when do you think the project will be released ?

I don't have an estimated time, I had a milestone for the beta testing

I found out that the story was very weak so I will try to work on this

Then, finish the game on PC, then port it to each platforms

each console, one by one

I already did some test

The first port you will do on which console ?

I don't know, Playstation 1 maybe

The thing that bothers me is that, people don't seems to be interested by the Playstation 1

Maybe it's too new, there is the Playstation 3, it's like "no it's not an old console"

The Dreamcast was released after the Playstation, and yet people love it

Yeah, but Sega stopped making console, so there is like an aura around the Dreamcast

I don't know if lots of people like the Playstation 1

-The Playstation was very well sold, so ... -Yes I know

Everybody should have a Playstation 1, but ...

Hey, why not releasing Elansar for the Dreamcast ? It's a CD medium too

More powerful than the Playstation, easier with the PC

It's just that I didn't had a Dreamcast so ...

My first console was the Playstation so, I was more Sony than Sega

Thank you very much for all these information, that was awesome

We wish you best of luck, we hope you will finalize the Elansar project

and good luck for your other project at your game company.

what are you working on in your game company ?

we released a game called Twinspin, a one button game, very nice and fun, available on iPhone

and do you have other projects ?

yes, we have other projects

but you can't tell about it

no :)

Good luck, thank you, thank you Medoc, and see you soon in a next ExtraLife !

I'm not saying to make every decision like really quick to just be impulsive

with everything but I think for most people my experience with especially

like in the free freelancer program in our group program and with just a lot of

people in life is that most people lean towards indecisive and not believing in

themselves and most of the time they should be believing in themselves when I

actually you know get down to it what they want to do makes a lot of sense

they have a lot of like good intuition they just don't necessarily trust

themselves so if that is you I would encourage you to start trusting yourself

to start believing your intuition giving it a try following through on it and

then you know change the result after that learning to be decisive will have a

really really significant impact on your life and is really worth the investment

and the risk of trying it out with some decisions now and just you know making

that easy for yourself in the future so that's it short video today hope it

helps you with taking back a little bit of your sanity and a little bit of your

time do you want to make a quick decision right now subscribe to the

channel before it's too late catch you in another video soon have an

awesome day

While-You-Wait Investing: Roth vs Traditional IRA - Duration: 2:11.

While I'm waiting for my computer to load, we should have enough time to go through a

common investor question: What is the difference between a Roth IRA and a traditional IRA?

The differences are pretty significant, and if you're thinking about putting money into

one of these accounts, you should understand the implications.

Let's start with the traditional IRA.

In this type of account, your taxable income is offset by the amount of money you contribute

each year.

So, if you make $50,000 in income, and you contribute $1,000 to an IRA, the IRS will

view your taxable income for the year as only $49,000.

The money you put into traditional IRA grows tax-free for as long as it's in this account.

So, even if you receive ongoing dividends or make trades in the IRA, none of that

income is reported.

Of course, there is a catch, which comes when you start withdrawing money at retirement.

At this point, every distribution is considered income, and you are taxed on the full amount

of the withdrawals.

A second catch is when you reach 70 and a half years old, you are forced to take money

from this account each year.

This is known as a required minimum distribution, or RMD.

The Roth IRA was created in 1997 and reverses the order of when you pay taxes.

You don't get any breaks in the year you make contributions.

Using our previous example, if you make $50,000 in income and contribute $1,000 to a Roth

IRA, the IRS will still tax you on $50,000 in income.

However, the money from that point on is tax-free.

It will continue to grow completely tax-free in that account, and you won't pay any taxes

when you start making withdrawals in retirement.

So, which type of IRA is right for you?

Generally speaking, it's better to use a traditional IRA when you are in a higher tax

bracket now and you expect to be in a lower tax bracket in retirement.

For a Roth, it's just the opposite – if you expect to be in a similar or higher tax

bracket later in life, then it's usually better to pay the lower tax rate now and shield

yourself from taxes at the time you make withdrawals.

Thanks for watching.

Physics Inferno | © Lisa Einstein 2018 - Duration: 2:51.

Today in class no strings no mass—

there's lessons I'd like to revisit.

It's vital to me that you truly see

implications of laws of physics.

You know how they work

you've done your homework

today's for a much deeper dive.

The laws that I teach, the equations I preach

they govern all things in our lives.

They are your tools, stick to their rules

for your sake do not betray them.

For sinners their ignorance made no difference

and since they didn't obey them-

They live in hell and where they dwell

their punishments fit their crimes.

Each sinner's afflicted by sins he committed

and will until the end of time.

First here we find the people in life who never returned what was given.

They took people's nice and didn't think twice

to help those they met on their mission.

Selfish with others which caused them to suffer

the games that they played never fair.

Giving ignored like a frictionless floor

so in hell they have no third law pair.

They walk in one place and no matter their pace

they'll never reach where they're going.

Are you starting to see why physics indeed

is filled with the things worth our knowing?

Reciprocal giving, now that's truly living

but they never realized this fact.

When an object exerts a force in its course

the second exerts one back!

And here can be found those who through ups and downs

didn't find good in their circumstance.

When life became fraught they didn't adopt

a clear optimistic stance.

When dealt a bad hand or things weren't as planned

they turned into saddened complainers.

Their lives didn't pass as an ideal gas

expanding to fill their containers.

Relinquishing power they chose to stay sour

negative, down, and embittered.

In death they are doomed to small spaces in rooms

that actually are much bigger.

If they could have found silver lining abound

or used bad as a chance to create

They would be free from confinement.

You see, ideal gases don't maintain fixed shape!

Finally we reach a thrashing beast

standing guard at a massless door.

You sorted your friends? You'll be sorted then

in buckets that freeze or scold.

Maxwell's Demon sorts this legion.

They never grasped empathy.

Rigid in truths however uncouth

with no effort lowering entropy.

Perhaps by sorting as good or as bad

they thought they were being pragmatic.

But life is complex and they seemed to forget

the laws of thermodynamics.

Before you decide to categorize, becoming a partisan sorter

Remember in fact theres more to it than that—

Processes move to disorder!

Now diligent students you see why you're prudent

in choosing to take physics class?

It may take up time and challenge your mind

but you will all have the last laugh.

THIS Is How To Talk To Girls And Spark Attraction (This is how a woman wants you to talk to her) - Duration: 7:15.

Matt: Imagine you're just hanging out with your friends and you see a drop-dead

gorgeous woman that makes your heart skip a beat and your stomach flip. You

start to imagine what her ass looks like under that dress when suddenly

everything that you wanted to say to her seems to suddenly get sucked out of your

brain and you're left completely blank. Before you even have a chance to make

your move, she disappears. Never to be seen again. If you're nodding your head

in agreement and reliving the frustration, don't worry, you're not alone.

After all most of us are just not taught how to talk to women when we're growing

up. The good news is it doesn't have to be this way. Learning how to talk to

beautiful women and sparking attraction is a learning skill just like any other.

I'm Matt Artisan from The Attractive Man, and this is four tips to talk to

girls to spark attraction.

-Into sequence-

Narrator: Many boot camps encourage men to be assertive

Matt: A woman wants to be turned on. We've done all the testing, we know what works.

Number one: Opposites attract.

Would you like to know the key to making her sexually attracted to you? Show her your

masculine side. For there to be sexual attraction

you need to have polarity between masculine and feminine energy. You see

the women that you probably find most appealing are deeply attracted to

masculine men. Just like how you're probably attracted to very feminine

women. Just like magnets, when you put the same charged sides together they repel.

But when you bring two opposite sides together, they attract. So make sure to

show her a lot of your strong masculine side because she won't want to sleep

with you if you show too much of your soft feminine side. Unless she's a very

masculine woman of course. That means speak loudly with a powerful low voice

stand up tall and be proud. No slouching or closed body language, speak your mind

and don't be afraid to say no to her. This basically means don't be a pleaser

or supplicate and always make sure to lead the interaction and bring her into

your world. And of course have strong eye contact this is absolutely crucial. This

means don't blink too much or shift from eye to eye as you're looking at her. Now

I'm not saying that you should be aggressive to her, don't do that. But if

you act like a wimp you're not gonna get the girl, period.

Number two is: Emotion versus logic. One common mistake that a lot of guys make

when learning how to talk to beautiful women is they communicate logically when

they should be communicating emotionally. While logic certainly has its time in

place, it's certainly not the language of seduction. Women respond to emotions. For

example when you're teasing them, or breaking rapport, you're spiking emotions

of fun and excitement, and when you're building a connection, you're spiking

emotions of safety, security, and intimacy. On the contrary speaking logically

pretty much has no benefit when it comes to turning on women or making them want

to be with you. So instead you need to speak through feeling and connect with

her emotion, spark her emotions. Doesn't mean you need to always be talking about

feelings, it should almost be like an emotional roller coaster where the

emotions go all over the place. If it's just flat-lined, and then

you're gonna end up in the friend zone. And don't worry, I'm gonna show you

exactly how to do that that's why I created a free Conversation Cheat Sheet

and I have a link for you down in the description. Number three: Self-amusement.

Self-amusement is exactly what it sounds like. It's using the interaction as an

opportunity to amuse yourself. This is where guys really screwed up because

they do the opposite, they're always trying to amuse her but that just comes

off as needy, supplicating, and reaction seeking, and doesn't work. Once you get

the hang of it, you'll never run out of things to say, you'll feel good talking

about things that actually matter to you, instead of doing what most guys do and

try to amuse her, try to entertain her, but when you're interested in or amused

by what you're saying you'll be speaking with enthusiasm and passion and the girl

will naturally be interested as well. Here's a few ways to self amuse: Talk

about things that you're passionate about. When you're talking about your

interest or your hobbies speak with passion in your voice. Remember

enthusiasm is contagious. Also debating topics that you find

interesting. However, stay away from politics or religion, unless however her

political view or religious view could be a deal-breaker, in that case figure

that out as soon as possible. You can also make jokes that you think are funny

regardless of whether she thinks it's funny or not. Now try not to offend her,

however one time I was at the bar with one of my good friends, and he cracked a

penis joke and the girl just rolled her eyes and walked away, but we didn't

really care. Neither of us were trying to impress her, we were just having fun and

being self amused and I noticed that she looked back at us to notice our reaction

of her leaving and saw that we didn't really care, she came straight back and

she said "Well okay I guess that joke was pretty funny" and I was like "Heck yeah

d**k jokes are always funny!" You can also just tell her to do something that

amuses you, for example: I like to have girls draw me pictures, and a lot of them

actually do it. Oh hey by the way, if you're not already subscribed, hit that

subscribe button because I have a lot of videos coming out. Number four is:

Qualification. Qualifying a girl is basically just testing to see if she

fits certain criteria that are important to you and this demonstrates that you're

a man with standards and it puts her in the position of trying to prove herself

to you. Perhaps most importantly it ensures that the women that you're

allowing into your life are the exact types of people you want to surround

yourself with. Now before you qualify a woman, you need to take the time to

actually figure out what's important to you in a woman. For example: What

personality traits do you value? How do you want her to treat herself and those

around her? How do you want her to be sexually? The more specific you are with

your qualifications, the clearer the image of your ideal girl will be in your

head, which will make it easier for you to spot her when you see her. Once you

know what you want you can simply ask the girl questions to see if she matches

the qualities that you're looking for. For example, if I want a girl with some

sort of passion in life, I might ask: "So tell me something that you're interested

in, like I don't know what are you passionate about?" If I want a girl that

would be down to go hiking with me, I might ask: "Have you ever been hiking?" "Yeah"

"And did you like it? What did you think about it?"

Once you're able to congruently qualify women, she'll be eating out of the palm

of your hands. I know that sounds kind of bad, but listen man, women love a man

who's a challenge. They don't want to feel like you're attracted to them just

because their looks, or that they won you over just like that. She wants to feel

like she had to earn your attraction to her, so hopefully you're beginning to

understand how powerful it is to be the type of man who knows how to talk to

women in a way that demonstrates that he has standards. Now if you want to learn
