A Folding Full-Size Mountain Bike? Yes, Please! - Duration: 9:28.

welcome back guys from Maine the temperatures in the next five days

doesn't even reach 80 degrees so blue skies and finally comfortable weather

for me by the way it's actually even a little more pronounced as far as I know

Arby's in Portland than I let on to and maybe I was a little naive a couple

years ago but they actually do have a law banning RVs anywhere to park

overnight in the Portland City area that even included private property for a

time there until they started to deprioritize enforcing the hundred

dollar fine and towing RVs right off of people's property or public property or

anything I don't want to get into it it don't matter

Portland is just one tiny little insignificant city in the state of Maine

and I intend to enjoy the summer elsewhere where where it's a little more

inviting to RVs speaking of excitement and adventures my folding bicycle has

arrived so this is an Amazon purchase it's a folding compact bike there is

some assembly required so I'm gonna open this guy up and see

how detailed it is and how hard it's gonna be to put together

we're gonna take a break in the unboxing and setup phase here because if you saw

my last video you probably realized at the same time they sent me a white bike

not the blue bike that I ordered and this comes in four different colors I

don't know why they sent me the white bike it's not horrible it's got some

blue in it but it's the white bike and I very rarely have problems with Amazon

this is a huge purchase and investment really so I'm gonna call them and see

what they want to do hey I got a problem with an order I just received through

Amazon they shipped me the wrong colored bicycle yeah it's Eric they had four

colors available and only one of those was Amazon Prime that was the solid blue

with some white accents I received a solid white bike with black accents and

like two or three blue lines are you can can you like tell me are you out of the

one that I was supposed to get and that's why you they thought I wouldn't

want a white one instead okay well no I appreciate your honesty you telling me

that they're out of the blue one when they sold me a blue one that's important

because it's not worth my time to wait around another week for Anna send me the

white one again so I mean so I mean I appreciate your honesty can you cut me a

deal on this white one and just give me a discount on it then instead so I can

get back on the road so I just got off the phone with Amazon and

made it right guys I mean it is tough traveling because you know I don't have

an extra week and I kind of tried to express that well they went ahead and

knocked off a hundred and forty dollars off this purchase price credit that back

to my account not not in a gift card but back on my credit card my debit card

within five days so I mean I basically got the bread the bike half off and it's

I don't care what color it is at that price it's definitely worth it so this

all worked out and that's why I don't like stress out it's just it wasn't what

I ordered and it wouldn't do me any good to wait around they don't have the blue

one in stock so they would just do the same thing if I return this and

reordered the blue one it send me another white one so I'll go and take a

hundred and hundred forty dollars off the price and put this bike together

alright guys we got the white version of the camp folding bike all put together

everything tighten down the way I'd like it everything is adjustable here so I

adjusted the handlebar the way I wanted it in all the positions and brakes and

shifters the way I wanted it the seat is the only part I'm not excited about

because I would really want it down all the way down to here but you can see the

adjustable shock here is blocking it that's unfortunate but I may just get a

grinder and just grind off an inch of this so I can get the seat down to where

I really want it comfortably it's still workable but my legs are almost fully

extended on the pedal to the bottom right now so yeah that's the bike I'll

take off on my first little test drive here actually leave those puppies alone

it's actually a nice smooth comfortable ride and I'm gonna be able to get fresh

air and exercise and mobility with a bike that is secure in my garage with

the 21 speeds I'll be able to get up certain steep hills but I like it's

comfortable and compact I do have some rubbing I think it's the front brake the

front caliper brake right here is rubbing on the outside so it's not

centered in there quite right I can't tell if these are just a moment do a

little bit of research otherwise I might be able to put a washer and there's

something to get the that pad away from it it's it's touching a little bit and a

rub and while I'm riding but otherwise yeah it's a 26 inch folding mountain

bike and now I will attempt to demonstrate how it folds up there's a

total of four things you can do to compact this thing down the first is

take the seat out then the pedal is actually fold in and we can take the

handlebar off and lay that aside and then I've got one more clamp right here

that will fold the bike in half so see holds it pass and this can go like that

I'll show you how thin it is it says 13 inches wide at this point with the

pedals folded in and the arm bar well the bar doesn't have to go there it can

actually go fat or something now we're looking at 13 inches width pretty

awesome pretty neat so it doesn't need to be stored outside it can go right

into my garage there

just like that weatherproof so pretty cool right having the bike kind of takes

a little bit of the pain of having to sell the motorcycle to fix the brakes

but I actually got a call from Greeley's today they got all the parts the OEM

Chevy drums shoes and the turn switch they want me to drop the RV off at

tomorrow morning 7:30 in the morning checks now waiting in the lobby and

hopefully we will have finally solved this epic brake problem on the Chevy

chassis and be ready for new adventures in Maine I do love Maine that's time to

be here and I really again appreciate Renee and Monique letting me stay here

on the property while I get some things taken care of

but yeah the bike will be fun to ride around Jackson I'll see in a couple days

thanks for watching guys

you

[AION 5.8] Weapon for Armsfusion. Do You Need to Reduce Recommended Level? - Duration: 1:26.

Hey, and welcome back on my channel!

This video is gonna be short.

I'll answer the question, is it really necessary to reduce recommended level on a 2nd weapon,

which you'll use for armfusion?

Here's the story, I got another AP cannon, but it's lvl 80.

My main cannon is the same, but reduced to lvl 75.

Normally, it's impossible to put high lvl weapon under low level one.

However, when I open the armsfusion window, it shows the normal output without any penalty.

I thought it might be some kind of bug.

I made a ticket and the support staff confirmed there's no bug.

"There seems to be no penalty in the stats as the weapon remains level 75.

All stats affected were higher with the fused weapon equipped than with an un-fused that

was level reduced."

So, as you can see, you don't need to waste kinah on level reduction stones for this weapon.

If you wanna see more tips, subscribe, put 'like'

and share this video with your friends.

Thanks for watching and see you soon!

Why Do We Fart? - Duration: 3:25.

Everyone farts.

Your mom.

Your dad.

Even your crush.

It may be embarrassing, or it may be funny, but farting is normal.

Have you ever wondered why our body releases this smelly gas?

What you might not know is that it takes more than you to produce your fart.

Farting, or flatulence, is the expulsion of intestinal gas, or flatus, from our anus.

A part of this gas comes from swallowing air while eating or drinking,

but most of it is actually produced from inside our own body.

When our stomach is not able to digest all the food we ate,

the undigested food eventually reaches the large intestine.

The large intestine is home to trillions of

microorganisms living in symbiosis with our body.

This community of bacteria in our guts is known as the gut flora,

and it plays a huge role in keeping you healthy.

The bacteria assist our immune system against harmful pathogens.

They help extract nutrients from food,

and they also synthesize vitamins like vitamin K and vitamin B.

In exchange for these functions, we provide them shelter as

well as nutrition from the food we are not able to digest.

When fermenting our undigested food,

they release several compounds including

short-chain fatty acids that we use for energy,

and gases, which we release through our anus when we fart.

What we eat usually affects the amount as well as the smell of our farts.

An individual usually produces 500 to 1500 milliliters of fart a day.

Increased amounts of gas is usually experienced after eating

foods that contain large amounts of complex carbohydrates

like beans, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes, wheat

products like bread, and dairy products like cheese and milk.

While the undigested food is being fermented,

the bacteria release a combination of gases including

carbon dioxide, hydrogen, and, for some people, methane.

Along with nitrogen from the air we swallow, they make up about 99% of our farts.

These gases are actually odorless.

The remaining 1% is composed of sulfur-containing compounds

like hydrogen sulfide and methanethiol,

and is responsible for the foul smell of farts.

These volatile sulfur compounds come from the proteins that we eat.

So, the next time someone heard you fart, don't be embarrassed.

Just think of it as the bacteria in your gut saying thank you for the free meal.

VIDEO.

Je me dis qu'on a super bien bossé

Macroeconomic Policy: Fiscal & Monetary Policy 'Quick & Simple' Guide - Duration: 15:43.

Hi, welcome to this AccoFina tutorial. Today we're talking about macroeconomic

policy. We're going to give a very quick guide to macroeconomic policy, through

fiscal policy and monetary policy. Firstly I want to apologize if you

can hear construction noises in the background, I've got a building going up

nearby, and it's quite loud today! So I apologize if you can hear that. Okay, so what

are we going to cover today? We're going to talk about why we have macroeconomic

policies in society. We're going to talk about how we can classify different

macro policy directions. Then we'll go into fiscal policy, monetary policy and

have a conclusion & wrap up. All right, so first up. Why do we have macroeconomic

policies in the first place? So business cycles have occurred for centuries. They,

generally, began back in the 19th century and they have occurred all the way to

the most recent GFC, and Great Recession.

So between every 6-8 years, ah, we often go through a boom and bust cycle.

And these have repeating swings through prosperity, recession, depression and

recovery. Mow when we talk about boom and bust cycles, the economic indicators are,

generally: changes in aggregate output, employment, prices, and national income. So

that's like GDP, and the unemployment rate, the inflation rate, and GNI, or wages

and business profits, and so forth. We've had these repeating periods of booms and

busts, and so our societies and civilizations have organized to minimize

the impact of this disruptive volatility. And it doesn't take a lot to remember

the GFC, and how a lot of the world's population had a very difficult time

adjusting to this business cycle. A lot of people lost their jobs, a lot

people lost their homes, incomes (and profits) were low, wage growth has been low since.

The recovery has been slow. And that's just one example. It's been hard on, ah, on the

people of the world. So our societies have organized, and in

modern times, we've designated two main institutions that aim to minimize the

negative impact of business cycles. Now we've designated government's, to help

out with a business cycle, and they do this through fiscal policy. And we've

also created the concept of central banks, and they operate monetary policy.

So what are the goals of macroeconomic policy? This is kind of in colloquial

terms, rather than technical terms, but: We just want to try and make the good times

last. We want extended periods of high, stable and, ever-growing, prosperity.

And on the flip side, we want to ease the difficulty the bad times. We want to

shorten periods of recession, and minimize the need for harsh, and abrupt,

adjustments of its citizens. So kind of, we want to have 'soft landings'. It's when

we have to do things 'major' and 'very quickly' that it's very hard for the

population to adjust, and causes a lot of friction & unhappiness. So why do we

have these macroeconomic policies? To sum up: we have them to improve the quality

of life of citizens. A lot of people believe it's simply just about making

money in business, and the economy is simply about everyone getting rich, or

certain people getting rich, but the genesis of most macroeconomic policies

is to improve the quality of life of all citizens. How successful they are, I'll

let you debate, but they are the aims

Okay, so how can we classify macro policy directions? Now we're getting to some of

the more technical stuff. Now we'll either classify macro policies as

expansionary or contractionary, or even neutral. Now expansionary policies

encourage economic growth. They try to combat deflation

when prices are falling, or disinflation if it's accelerating too quickly. And

disinflation is when inflation is slowing down.

When inflation is still occurring, but it's occurring at a slower and slower

rate. And we'll also try and boost employment and

national incomes, through expansionary policies.

Well, technically, what these policies are trying to do is increase 'aggregate

demand' in the economy. All right so let's go to contractionary. This time we're

trying to slow, moderate, or stabilize economic growth. And we could also combat

rising inflation, and its negative impact. Now I'm not going to go into the

specific negative impacts of rising inflation, other than saying that they

are very very pervasive. And sometimes we have to moderate employment growth. We have

to stabilize wage growth, or the inflation that is caused by wage

growth. And it's the opposite to last time: we're trying to decrease, or

moderate, 'aggregate demand' in the economy. But this is an important note: the goal

isn't just to kill the party! The macro policy isn't trying to, like, make less

people employed, or less people wealthy, or slow the good times. The goal is to

attack the risks of inflation, and possibly even hyperinflation, and

minimize the chance of an epic bust. Now I'm sure a lot of us have heard that

the old saying, "The bigger the boom, the bigger the bust". So if things get out of

control, and we have a huge boom. Then we might have an even bigger bust, which will

be even harder to adjust to, when things eventually do correct. And, as I mentioned,

inflation can be very pervasive in the economy. It can destroy your wealth, it

can misallocate resources. We've probably seen some countries that have

had hyperinflation whether it's, historically, in Germany or, in modern

times, in Venezuela, where economies really do fall apart when hyperinflation

kicks in. We can't ignore neutral policy. The 'neutral' policy is kind of

like when policy setters think that we're either, in a sweet spot in the economy, or

what's termed a 'Goldilocks economy', after that old fairy tale where it's not too hot

and not too cold. Or we may just be in an uncertain period, and policy setters

kind of want to 'wait-and-see' before they make their next move. So they may wait a

few months or a few quarters, see how the economy tracks, or what previous

decisions, um, how they impact the economy ...and then they'll make

their next move. Now neutral fiscal policy is when this period's deficit or surplus is

equal to last period's deficit or surplus. So there's no aggregate change in taxes

or expenditure, (i.e.) or the balance of them. Now 'neutral' monetary policy is when the

'policy rate' is equal to the 'neutral rate'. Now the 'neutral rate' is: Real GDP at the

trend growth rate + the target inflation rate. And that's the formula

for the neutral rate, in regards to monetary policy. All right, so let's get

into the policies. What are the policy levers for fiscal policy? That's

right, it's "taxes and spending", which is a

famous phrase you probably heard of many times. So when we talk about taxes we're

talking about revenue. So revenue raised by the government, that forms part of

fiscal policy. And they can have direct taxes on income and wealth, so there we're

talking about our income tax, or our company tax, or even our death duties

or inheritance taxes in regards to wealth or even Capital Gains Tax (CGT), in regards to

Australia's circumstances. Now, also, there can be indirect taxes on goods and

services, and here you'll find your VAT in Europe, or your GST in

Australia and India. Okay, so the other side of the equation, in regards to

fiscal policy levers, are spending. That is, expenditure. Now governments can

introduce 'transfer payments', and these are just cash payments to citizens to

redistribute wealth within the economy. Other than that, governments can have

'current spending'. This is when governments pay for goods and services

to fund the government's, itself, and its services. Defense spending, or health

spending, or federal education spending or state education spending, these are

your 'current spending' categories. And finally, there's 'capital spending' and

this is when we fund infrastructure, or other long-term assets, to boost the

economy (productivity). They're things like governments building railroads or,

in Australia's case, government's building the National Broadband Network (NBN), or things

like airports, ports and similar sorts of things. It can also include more

intangibles, like if government invests in research and development, that could

possibly lead to breakthroughs in particular technologies. But just

remember, the three main expenditure items are 'transfer payments', 'current

spending' and 'capital spending'. Right, so how do we implement an expansionary

policy? In this case we would increase expenditure, or decrease taxes, or both.

What we're doing is: increasing the deficit, or reducing the surplus, and

thus, increasing economic activity. So if the government increases expenditure, its

spending more, and this would increase economic activity. Or if it simply

decreases taxes, while maintaining the same overall expenditure, so less money

has been taken from households and firms, they can continue to spend and it won't be

locked up in government coffers. And thus that will also increase economic

activity. And the opposite is for implementing contractionary policy. You

will decrease expenditure, or you would increase taxes or you would do both. And

again the opposite would result. You would reduce the deficit, or increase the

surplus, and this would decrease economic activity. So if the government spends less

or the government taxes more, without having a commensurate increase in

expenditure, then that would slow down the economy as there would be less

spending, less expenditure in the economy, less aggregate demand and less economic

activity. All right so let's move on to monetary policy. What are the policy

levers? "Interest rates". Interest rates are the policy levers, and the central bank

influences interest rates often through the money supply. So how are interest rates,

and the money supply, altered? So a central bank can set a 'policy rate' and

say this is what banks are charged when borrowing central bank reserves. So

private banks can often borrow central bank reserves at attractive rates, at which

they can then on lend to businesses and households, or firms and households.

Obviously, the higher the rate, the less attractive it will be for those banks to

borrow from the central bank reserves. And central banks can also conduct 'open

market operations'. And this is where they buy and sell government securities for

cash. And finally, they can set the 'required reserve ratio'. They can

determine how much banks need as reserves, and the banks need those

reserves, they can't lend it! And this, in turn, affects the deposit expansion

multiplier, which impacts aggregate demand in the economy. So how do we

implement an expansionary monetary policy? In this case we need to increase

the money supply, and assuming a stable money demand, interest rates will

decrease. And when interest rates decrease, borrowing & expenditure

becomes more attractive, and this should hopefully increase economic activity. Oh,

and there I just said it, the "impact is increased borrowing" and as a result,

"increased economic activity". Alright so these are the technical, ah, it's not that

technical, but these are how how an expansionary policy will be

implemented. Firstly the central bank could decrease the policy rate. They can

make it easier for banks to borrow from central bank reserves. So a lower policy

rate encourages banks to borrow from central bank reserves, and on-lend to

households and firms. Secondly, the central bank could buy securities in

open market operations. So the central bank could hand over money to the (commercial) banks

and other participants, which they can then on-lend. So they (the central bank) take

that piece of 'paper', the security, they hand over the cash (to commercial banks), and the cash

is on-lent and multiplies throughout the economy. And finally, it could reduce the required

reserve ratio. Central banks reduce the level of reserves need to be held by

banks, then these new excess reserves can be on-lent.

And that's kind of self-explanatory. So if banks don't need to hold 10% of their

liabilities in cash, but perhaps only 5%, then that other 5% can then be relent to

other households and firms. So how can we implement a contractionary monetary

policy? And, again, this is just the opposite. We would decrease the money

supply, and assuming stable money demand, interest rates would increase. This would

decrease borrowing, because borrowing is now more expensive with high interest

rates, and this would decrease economic activity. And implementing it is the

exact opposite to earlier. So you would increase the policy rate, or you would

sell securities in open market operations, or you would increase the

required reserve ratio for banks. All right, so what did we cover today? We

explained why we have macroeconomic policies in the first place. And that's

to improve the populations quality of life. Specifically, employment, stable

prices, and the general well-being of the community. How can we classify macro

policy directions? We can say they're expansionary and contractionary, and don't

forget, they can also be neutral. We talked about fiscal policy, which is

taxes & spending, revenue & expenditure. And we talked about monetary

policy, which is affecting economic activity through altering interest rates,

through the money supply. Okay that's it! I hope it helped.

Exciting Writing Thing | Chatting About My New WIP - Duration: 4:15.

hey guys Kyra here, it's been a little while since I filmed a video. It's been

so long since I filmed a video that I started putting my film equipment

together and my nose started bleeding and my body was just like, "what is this?"

but here I am! So today I wanted to talk about my writing: where I left off with

my writing was that I had put aside my novel that I was working on and I had

just had this idea. I was at the Sydney Writers Festival feeling very inspired

from all of the authors that I was seeing and a little light bulb went off

in my head, I had an idea. I've taken the last couple of months to research, first

of all because the idea is set in a historical period that I don't know a

whole lot of actual facts about, it's actually sitting two historical periods

which makes it even more difficult. So I've been researching quite a lot and

then I've also been just kind of thinking of ideas like trying to make it

a more cohesive book idea because not all ideas can just be thrown into a book

plot; think on different tangents and follow the rabbit holes to see where

they lead and see if they work and yeah come up with different ideas like that.

So I spent quite a lot of time going on walks and thinking about the book and

sitting on my commute on the bus staring at the window and thinking about my book

characters. So I did that I planned and outlined the novel which was it's always

scary because you're like, "am I doing this right?" You never really know. I actually

kind of want to make a video about how I outlined this book so stay tuned for

that. So I finished the outline. Pretty happy with where it is, although I'm

still kind of thinking up things and like kind of slotting them in which, which

is good I'm fleshing it out. But this week I started writing the thing. I have

not written a thing for quite some time (by quite some time I mean a couple of

months since I've been actually writing creatively) but, oh my god it feels so

good! At first was just like, "I don't know what I'm doing!" It's a bit like

jumping onto a bike - and I'm gonna stop the metaphor right

there because I don't know how to ride a bike. I'm 26,

almost 27 years old, and I don't know how to ride a bike. So when people say it's

"just like riding a bike you never forget how to do it" it's like, well, I never

really learned! The sentiment is true: once you get back on the writing bike, it's

totally fine, and uh it feels so good to just come up with things out of nothing

and then tweak them and it's a whole process and it's very exciting and I'm

just glad that I'm doing it again because it does feel really good. I think

I'm going to maybe film a little bit of my writing. I don't know whether I am

gonna do it as a live sort of thing maybe on Instagram? I don't know I might

try that out this weekend. But be prepared! Now that I am back and nose

blood-free, you will see much more of my videos

about this secret writing project that I'm very excited about and yeah that's

that's all I wanted to say about that. If you want to hear more about my writing

journey for this book, pretty much from the start to hopefully where I finish it,

subscribe now so that you get all of those updates: like the video, subscribe,

check out my social media channels as well because I'm posting lots of writer-y

stuff there as well: I'm on Twitter and Instagram mostly, so check those out. The

links are in the description box down below and... that's it! Thanks for watching

to the end of the video... it's been a while since I did this so I don't know how

to end, but, bye!
