there's also a slightly stiffer rear

GTS still seems awfully expensive for a

with the GTS treatment the mick and now

New York City Christmas Vacation 2016 - Letters From Felix [EN sub] - Duration: 30:58.And with that, welcome from Brooklyn, New York City!
After a long travel day, I finally arrived and can spend two weeks of vacation here.
Typical for New York, the hotel room is small, but has a nice bathroom, nothing to complain about.
Now I just want to lie down there. We see each other the next days, so, stay tuned.
Alright, good morning!
Day 2 already, yesterday was just for relaxing and eating, I didn't filmed anything.
Today I'll go to B&H, Midtown, Manhattan. Some shopping and just looking around.
It is loud in New York!
See you in a bit.
I know they won't win a beauty competition, but...
if you want a burger, nothing fancy, just a good fast food burger: Five Guys! There's nothing better.
B&H Photo, there's nothing that they don't have.
If you need anything for video or photo... this place is heaven.
Video trends 2017: Vlogging with a Legria, old school but still possible, and as an addition: A ring light.
Looks good.
I think the most...
Sshht!
I think the most funny thing that can happen in B&H is,
that the salesmen ask you about your camera, that you're using right now,
instead of you asking the salesmen for help.
It is known, that Macy's is one of the largest stores in the world,
but that you can go to three different Starbucks in here, that's really too much.
I don't know how many floors there are here, eight or nine?
Ok, looks like I didn't filmed anything else after shopping.
And today, after a lazy morning, we head to Chelsea and maybe, not maybe, definitely to Chelsea Market,
maybe even to the YouTube Space and look what you can do there.
And in the evening we'll go to Sleep No More, let's see how that is. Let's go!
That is the door to the YouTube Space, but they didn't want to let me in.
I thought it said 'open houses' on their website.
I thought that means access for all YouTuber, but apparently not or I was on the wrong floor. I'll look that up again.
Alright, Sleep No More is over now, the show was about three hours long after all.
Really, immersive theater...
It's...
definitely something interesting and different.
You try to follow a scene and a few moments later, everybody is running away and the next scene plays.
And there are multiple scenes at once and you don't know what's going on...
Ok, I shouldn't talk about it too much.
If you're in New York, definitely check it out. It's a bit pricey, I know, but it's worth it.
You can also look it up online for more information.
Ok, I can show you the masks, that you have to wear to be somewhat anonymous.
And then it can happen, that you get involved into the play twice, like I did, and that's where the kissing marks come from.
Going to dinner at 11:30pm and finishing at 12:30am... only in Manhattan.
But now really, time to sleep.
Quick tip: Use the express trains whenever you can, definitely worth it.
Ok, time to take a breath in Central Park and enjoy the nice weather.
It's always fascinating, how quiet is here, away from all the traffic noise.
And in the meantime: Pokemon Go. It's not as hyped as it used to be, but you can still play it.
After that we're going to eat.
And a quick update about the YouTube Space situation: I think there was a German-English translation mistake on my end.
Open houses is more like 'day of open doors', and not 'come in whenever you want'.
So yeah... Maybe I can ask them on twitter, if I could go in anyway.
Sunset in Central Park? Definitely nice, but yesterday's was a little bit nicer, vibrant and orange.
Today's sunset is nice too, but a little more average.
Ok, the plan was to visit the Museum of Modern Arts, since it's free on Fridays from 4pm to 8pm.
Looks like some other people had the same idea. Quite busy here, I think we'll come back on a different day.
Ok, brunch, lunch, breakfast, something like that, at Jing Fong is finished.
Crowded by now, but worth stopping here every time.
And after a nice coffee, we can go through Chinetown to SoHo now, a little bit of shopping and then let's see what's up later.
Google store in Manhattan and the people were right, the light in there is perfect for filming.
You really want to film all the videos in there, but it's probably a bit to busy for that in there.
That was a good day that ended with a good meal. I can't remember the last time I had food that's that good.
It's still early evening, but the day was long, so there's nothing wrong with going back to the hotel. See you tomorrow.
Good morning from Brooklyn.
It's cold this morning, somewhat around 30 F.
Nice and cold.
Today's breakfast is from McDonald's, very relaxed.
The day is going to be relaxed, some YouTube stuff, and then let's see what happens later.
After a few hours of relaxed working in bed, subtitles for tomorrow's video are done.
Only thing left to do is writing the blog post, so that everything can be published without any problems.
There are cartoons on TV all day, which can be very entertaining, but I think I should go out, I'm sitting here for a few hours already.
Yeah, maybe Brooklyn Bridge Park and eat something over there, probably pizza to match the shirt.
Now that's a pizza, that's worth going out for.
We went to Table 87 out of coincidence, really good for pizza and well, basically everything.
Apparently the waiter never saw someone eating the Nutella Pizza Pie that quickly...
I mean come one, it's just like a crepes with Nutella :p
Now it started to snow here in Brooklyn.
Winter is coming!
New day, back in Chinatown.
Up there is Casey Neistat's studio, kinda cool to walk by here.
If you look closely, you can even see decoration and tools on the wall.
And now... back to the Google store, since I want to pick something up.
So, I quickly tried out Google VR, Google Daydream.
Very interesting, but I think with a smartphone the image is just too blurry.
But cool to try out, and at this time before work ends in the US, it's very relaxed here too.
And since I couldn't buy it in the store directly, quick stop at Best Buy.
Ok, that Best Buy didn't have any Google Home, probably because the Google employees send everybody there.
We also didn't managed to go somewhere else, so...
Visited a few stores and had dinner here in K-Town, I think you saw some clips.
Now I have a hot cider tea and head back to the hotel, see you later.
I hope you can here me despite the construction site across the street, new building popping up here in Manhattan.
This is 'The Glass Room' behind me, a cooperation of Mozilla and others.
It's illustrating how much data is collected about us, and what is being and can be done with this data.
Sure it's interesting and scary to see, and yet you keep using your devices like before. What can you do?
Well, it's late again, and now we're in Madison Square Garden for a Louis C.K. show. Hope it's good.
I should start to end my vlogs properly.
It was surprisingly crowded while leaving yeaterday, didn't expect that.
Entering the Madison Square Garden is done in a clever way, I'd say,
but leaving is a nightmare.
Today it's snowing here in Brooklyn, you see it's getting white in the background.
Got a quick breakfast from Dunkin Donuts, we'll see what else we do today.
A good old American breakfast later, and I'm on a boat to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.
We'll see, it's quite cold outside, the waves look big, could be funny...
That's Manhattan,
somewhere back there is Ellis Island, which is the next stop,
and behind me, oh look, I found an European.
The good old Statue of Liberty. Hard to imagine that it was brought here by boat in pieces from France.
Now you can keep walking here for a bit and then head to Ellis Island.
I really want to check out, if someone with my surname immigrated to the US, would be interesting to know.
You've probably seen this memorial in other vlogs already.
It's basically two rings of metal plates with lots of names on them, as well as a third section.
So three sections in total, separated by time periods.
The list has 500,000 names of immigrants to the US who came here through Ellis Island.
Let's check if we can find someone with my name.
Ok, no Beuster among the early immigrants.
Also no Beuster between 1993 and 1995.
Even after 1995, no Beuster in the list. Maybe I should add one?
Behind me is the main building of Ellis Island, where all immigrations were processed.
We walked through it, lot's of big rooms that were filled with people and seating back then.
I would have liked to see a bit more of an exhibition instead of just information texts, but it is what it is.
Now back to Manhattan in roughly that direction, and I think we won't see each other before tomorrow.
Outside it's cold, rainy and not nice weather at all,
perfect day to stay inside, later with the Museum of Modern Arts, but first a good lunch and a juicy bison burger.
Mmm...
Definitely good!
That's it for the Museum of Modern Arts on a Saturday afternoon.
Noticeably less crowded then the free Friday evening, but now it's closing.
Let's see, maybe we find a holiday market, a cider, something small to eat, and tomorrow is a new day.
We're back, new day new luck, this time at the Flatiron Building. It's really flat and always fascinating to look at.
There's a art installation right here, were hammocks should be, but due to the rainy and snowy weather in the past days, they've been removed.
In front of me is Empire State Building and over there is Eataly, where we'll eat something small before the more fancy dinner tonight.
And later tonight at 11:30pm we go out and watch Star Wars.
After all, it's my birthday, time to have a nice and relaxed day and treat myself. Come with me.
And for those who don't know what Eataly is: It's basically like a big mall with lots of small food vendors,
as well as cafes, gelato places and restaurants for pizza, pasta, seafood and so on.
Plenty to choose from, there's even one vendor with Nutella products only, I think I will go there.
Definitely a cool movie theater, also I'm the last one in here.
Who sees it? Cursor on the screen.
It's really nice here with reclining seats and adjustable foot rests, very comfortable.
So if you're in Manhattan at Times Square and want to see a movie, Dolby Cinema at AMC Empire is worth a visit, even though it's more expensive.
$24 for a ticket is a lot, but absolutely worth it, sound and cinema feeling are on point here.
2:30am, 42nd St in the heart of Manhattan and close to Times Square, and there's nothing going on here.
Absolutely nothing, I've never seen it like that.
See? Nothing, except maybe two or three cars. But besides that? Nothing!
Even back there at Times Square, almost nothing. What's going on?
I mean come on, I'm standing right on Broadway and there's nothing, just nothing!
Even here at Times Square is nothing. Absolutely nothing.
Except for people walking through my shot.
Oh, mum wanted a selfie, so...
I think that's good.
Well, that almost brings this trip to an end.
New day with beautiful weather, maybe a bit windy and cold, but nice anyway.
Behind me is Manhattan, nice view from this small park here.
To the left is Jersey City... they try to get bigger but can't keep up with Manhattan.
It's impressive to see from here, how dense Downtown Manhattan really is.
Now I'm heading to JFK airport, going to Zurich, then Berlin, then home. Come on and join me on the last journey.
Finally got off from this plane.
One thing is for sure:
I'm not flying American Airlines again anytime soon.
The customer experience was awful right from the beginning.
I waited for 1.5 hours at check in, because there were issues.
And during the flight, they're not even trying to make up for the outdated airplane with good food.
At least in economy, American won't see me back anytime soon.
I mean, the 1.5 hour wait was not the check in, really just the queue for people with issues.
Or maybe I'm just grumpy because I couldn't sleep on the flight.
And the coffee is not kicking in yet, I need another one.
Did I mention yet, that an airport at this time is really cool? So empty... like Times Square.
A quick security and passport check later, I know have to wait.
My next gate to Berlin is announced in an hour.
So, I sit down here somewhere, probably close to a restroom, and we see each other in Berlin.
And now we're in Berlin!
Arrived, getting in the car and driving home.
Thanks to you for joining me on this trip.

We see each other in the next video, tutorial or travel vlog, until then, ciao!

DPR fighter: I wish we'd move forward! - Duration: 9:10.- Nice and quiet now.
Hard to believe that war is all around us, right?
- Yes, missing birds singing only!
- Right.
- Can you tell about yourself?
- What can I tell?
- Are you fighting since the very beginning of the war?
- Yes, since 2014. Didn't start in Slavyansk, though.
- Where did you begin then?
- It started for me here.
Then it was Debaltseve "kettle", Uglegorsk.
Have been in the airport too.
- Well, all the main battle places...
- Yes, Debaltseve and Uglegorsk were the main ones.
I was mainly in reconnaissance,
we were obtaining information.
We were trying to avoid the combats,
cause we weren't stormtroopers.
Apart from that... what else can I tell?
- Did you ever meet face to face Ukrainian soldiers
or Right Sector?
Maybe you spoke to the captives?
- No. We never took any captives.
I don't want to. It's not cool.
If you take anyone captive, you have to drive them around,
feed them etc. Too much of charity!
Am I wrong? - True, I agree!
- Our squadron had an unwritten rule:
not to take any captives.
Except for the occasions when he drops the weapon, of course.
But otherwise, no captives!
- Especially considering that every captive claims to be just a cook or a driver...
- True, it's not cool at all.
- Saying they didn't know where they were going to.
- You know well
that it's usually regular army soldiers who surrender,
18-19 years old guys with no experience.
And the pros, they manage to flee.
- I heard that their rule is not to take any DPR captives.
- Well, what can they do?
I didn't speak to anyone in person of course,
but I was getting at 15-20 m distance to them,
I could see them.
But I was not allowed to act.
I was sending signal on radio, but was told to observe only.
They were entrenching right in people's yards.
I'm talking about Gorlovka, Zhovanka area.
- Right in the residential area?
- Yes, entrenching in people's gardens.
- Did you notice where it landed? - Yeah.
- It was right during the truce,
when they seized all buffer zones.
And our task was
to find out how close were they getting to us.
So, as I already said, Uglegorsk and Debaltseve
were the main combats I took part in.
- Did you ever hear of or met
any mercenaries taking part in warfare?
- Georgians used to be based in Zhovanka.
I doubt there is a squadron of Georgians in Ukraine, he!
- How did you know, because of the Georgian flag?
- These Georgians were wearing black uniform, huge guys.
Like I told you, I was crawling real close to them to observe.
Not a squadron probably, but a platoon for sure.
They weren't digging the trenches of course,
Ukrainian soldiers did it for them.
And they were just supervising.
There were lots of 200's [killed] and 300's [wounded] in Promka zone.
I had to get them out.
May his soul rest in peace,
one of our guys with call-sign Grad died there.
At the time I was pulling him out,
it looked that he was still breathing.
But we didn't manage to bring him to hospital alive.
- AGL [automatic grenade launcher? - Yes, AGL.
Cause he didn't wear a bullet proof vest,
his lung got pierced and that was it...
- Tell me, if someone is injured, what do you?
Did you study first aid, do you have first aid kit?
- Of course! We are trained, had all the courses.
But mostly...
For instance, we had positions in Promka zone
and naturally we often had wounded.
Shell-shocked and just wounded.
Other units were based near us
and we were helping each other with first aid.
Cause once the following happened:
3 men were shell-shocked at the positions,
2 wounded and one 200 (dead).
Our whole position was....
There was no possibility to provide him help,
the appropriate help.
So, other units, based next to us, were helping.
Usually we were able to provide first aid and bring to hospital in time.
Once there was an occasion,
it was actually recently...
Guy's legs were injured, I was pulling him out.
He was talking to me and everything...
Kaluga was his call-sign.
I pulled him from the battle field,
we brought him to the hospital.
He was undergoing surgery for 40 minutes.
But he didn't make it, I think... Right, he died.
- Probably, due to a blood lose?
- Yes, from a blood lose. As simple as that!
It's funny how we stay at the same place,
it's like playing badminton:
they are shooting at us, we shoot at them.
We are losing our guys and with zero result!
It's real bad!
I wish we'd move forward.
I wouldn't mind to die
if it would help to complete some tasks at least!
Taking over Avdeevka, for instance, moving forward.
But the way it is now, we are just the "border control"!
What I would really like,
is that our Republic would include all territory of former Donetsk Oblast.
And then... Well, that's what we are fighting for!
I was born in Yasinovataya.
- So, you were born here.
- Yes.
When all the mess in Slavyansk began,
I was stopping the trains here.
Not letting 95th airmobile brigade to get there.
One that was crashed near Saur Mogila.
- There were 2 trains of them and we simply didn't let them through.
I never even served in the army before.
- What was your profession before the war?
- None. I was good-for-nothing.
Well, I had a private company.
And before that I was working in security.
I'm a sportsman, actually.
I was doing sports my whole life.
As you may know, sportsmen always work in security.
- So, it might have been easier for you then
to learn the art of war, right?
- I love to fight in a war!
I'll be frank with you.
I love being a military
and if I would have a chance
to live my life over again,
I would dedicate all my life to the army.
I wouldn't get family and kids then.
I have 3 kids, 3 sons.
I would simply give my whole life to the army.
I really like it.
I just didn't know before that I gonna like it.
I was studying at the university,
to avoid the (draft) army, you know.
Like many other guys.
But when it all started, I got sucked in!
You know, sometimes when I'm at home and shooting begins here
and I feel really drawn to come!
I'm dying to take a rifle and run to the front!

Baking Festive Treats - CHRISTMAS 2016 - Duration: 9:35.Hi guys! My name is Anouk
And today I'm going to make these easy festive treats!
Explaining them step by step!
The first thing I'm going to make, is the chocolate covered marshmallows
First thing I'm going to do, is chop the chocolate..
Into tiny bits
And just melt them!
I'm using white chocolate and milk chocolate
Because I don't really like dark chocolate
..But milk chocolate and white chocolate is okay!
..I like them!
..This is awkward, hurry up!
Okay, now the white chocolate
It looks so gooooooooddd
But it looks even better when it's melted *laughs*
Okay now you're going to put them in the oven!
..And dance, because I don't know why
The next thing I'm going to do, is put sticks in the marshmallows
So I can dip them in the chocolate and decorate them!
When the chocolate has melted..
Just dip the marshmallows in the chocolate
And let them.. dry..
..That's the word, right..
I don't know how to speak English okay
This is going to take forever, so come on, hurry up
Skip forward or something
Yeah- Okay and now you're going to decorate them!
Yayy
And then I'm just going to dip the marshmallows.. into the white chocolate!
Okay when they completely dried..
And you're such an idiot as me..
You can't get them off the plate
So use a knife, or use a fucking spatula or something..
To get them off
The bottom is totally ruined right now, but you won't see that, because you're putting them..
..Just.. exactly like that *laughs*
And then I'm going to remove the..
Milk chocolate thinggsss..
From the plate
Which is also going to take forever- Why didn't I skip this part in the video
Jfc
Okay! Now..
I'm going to make the bark! So just..
Take some of your melted chocolate
And spread it all over the piece of parchment paper
That's going to take.. forever..
And now is the most fun part..
Decorate your bark!
You can use literally whatever you want!
I used mini pretzels..
Tiny M&M's..
And the tiny sprinkles from the marshmallows
Oh and I also put some tiny pieces of marshmallow on them
After you put all your decorations on the bark..
Just drizzle some white chocolate over everything!
It looks really cool!
And this is how it looks like before it goes into the freezer..
And after it goes in the freezer!
My sister also made some bark..
And you can check it over on her channel- I don't know when she's going to upload it..
But I'll link her channel in the description
Okay when your bark has completely frozen..
Take it off the piece of parchment paper
Be careful!
Then put it into a bowl..
First break it into a few pieces..
And enjoy!
Okay, last thing I'm going to make..
Are these pretzel stars
They are kinda like the stars- the pretzel stars from Zoella's video..
But these are a bit.. smaller
You just want to put four pretzels..
Against each other..
And then pour some white chocolate over it
To attach them
And then.. over that layer, you're going to make another layer
And then attach them all to each other with some more white chocolate
I then put some green and red M&M's on the white chocolate, to make it a bit more festive!
And that was it!
The three easy festive treats
You can put on the table whenever you're having a Christmas party..
Or just whenever you like!
So those were my easy.. festive.. treats! *laughs*
I hope you liked them, I really do like them!
They were so good! *Weird voice* SO GOOD *laughs*
And they are so easy! It took me about two hours..
To make all of them!
So.. I really thought I would be making them.. like..
Fucking the whole day
But I was done after two hours so that's great!
Sorry for the light by the way, it's uhmm.....
Seven.. in the evening..
And I'm using those.. these things
These are from my grandma, and I thought they would come in really handy..
Is that English I don't know
But uhm.. they are a bit..
Yellow..
Compared to the videos..
From 8 hours ago
It's really yellow, but
Happy holidays! I hope you have a great day! A great Christmas..
I hope you get lots of presents!
I hope you get to spend some time with your family!
That's great!
I hope you get lots of food! That's the most important thing
And then I will see you in..
2017?!
Ooohhhh *laughs*
Bye!

FAITH HOUSE CHRISTMAS WORSHIP CLIPS - Duration: 15:08. For more infomation >> FAITH HOUSE CHRISTMAS WORSHIP CLIPS - Duration: 15:08.-------------------------------------------
DIY FOLDABLE KAYAK - Duration: 13:11.Hi everybody ! Today we will see how to create the foldable kayak.
Before moving on to the design, we'll see a review of the prototype
As you can see in the teaser I put here, it worked pretty well.
However I have noticed a few problems as for accessibility.
It was difficult to get in and out the legs, which could lead to problems if you turn over.
There are also problems on the stability, the kayak was easily rocking
so I deal with the problems by drawing on a larger sheet of 30 cm, either a width of 1m50 instead of 1m20.
Unfortunately, this has increased the price of € 20, but it was necessary.
The required stuff is fairly basic.
You will need :
A metallic rule, a cutter and 2 clamps to cut the kayak in the plastic sheet.
You will also need an aluminum plate, here it is 1.5mm thick to create reinforcements,
Few screws and nuts, a Dremel for cutting aluminum and a drill to do holes for the screws.
A computer to order the plastic sheet on Internet.
Also, you will need this important tool. It's just a spacer and a piece of metal
That will allow you to flatten the plastic and make easier the way to fold it by creating breaking lines.
Finally, you will need a strap and strap loops to hold the kayak assembled.
The next step is on the computer. To order the plastic, you can follow the link in the description
or directly go on the website of Pixartprinting and follow the directions below.
I would like to point out that this is not a product placement
Pixart is the only printer that I found able to print and ship a plastic panel in these dimensions.
So I recommend their services because I was satisfied with the product and that the delivery was fast.
So, you have to go on the website of printer.
Type "Pixartprinting" on Google and use the first link
On the website, go in the left menu and find "LARGE FORMAT" and choose "Rigid Media"
In the Rigid Format category, we are looking for the coroplast, here it's called "CORREX"
Select this product and we will be able to configure it
We are looking for something strong, so we will take the 5mm thick support
in a custom format.
We just need 1 copy with a width of 300cm and a height of 150cm.
we don't need anything else, no accessories or varnish.
We have to choose the delivery date, the later is the cheapest
Also, you can add a discount code.
Activate the code and finally add the product to your basket.
You will have to upload the template file available with the link in the description.
We will be able to switch to the cutting part. The coroplast is made of 2 layers of plastic
There are techniques to know to make a clear cut without hurting you.
You will have to use your clamps to hold the metallic ruler on the plastic sheet.
Now, you can cut the plastic in 2 steps: You have to cut the first layer to break the splines
and secondly, you have to cut again but with more pressure to cut the second layer.
Which will allow you to have an almost perfect cut.
Also, we have to see how to fold the plastic thanks to this tool.
In fact, this is just a washer between a folded piece of metal. It looks like a pizza slicer
but this is not sharp, and that really important because we don't want to cut the plastic
we need to crush it to create breaking lines.
To do it, you just have to go few times over the line you want to create, while pushing.
The aim is to flatten the plastic
You will have to repeat the process all over the folding lines on the kayak template
This is the result, we have created something like a breaking range allowing us to fold the plastic easily.
Now, you know how to proceed, let's go to the cutting part !
Once the cut ends, you must have something like this
You will have to use the folding tool all over the grey lines excepted the black lines [This one, this one...].
As Well the 2 black lines on the ends. You have to redraw it on the other side and crush it by the outside.
You must have something like that.
The cutting part is done, we have the folding lines, so we have to use the folding tool to crush the plastic
and end the origami. This process takes a while so you have to be a bit patient to succeed
After approximatly 1 hour of folding, you must have something like that.
All the lines are crushed, as well as the lines on the ends folding inside to create this shape
as well as for the 4 lines on sides.
We will have to create reinforcements in aluminium to hold the 4 corners, like the clamp in the video
and to hold the boat folded.
We will see together how to do and cut the reinforcements to place them on the plastic
You will have to do the black shape in aluminum. To do the template quickly, you have to take measures
In my case, it will be approximately 3.5cm, an other side at 1.5cm for a length of 12cm.
The plastic is 5mm thick, so we will use this value to hold firmly the side parts on the plastic
Here is the lenght : 12cm, here the small side : 1.5cm and the big side : 3.5cm
Now, we have to do the cut !
You can remove a bit of aluminum to easily fold it
After the cutting part, you should have something like that, now we have to fold it in "U" shape
also, we can sand it to smooth the edges and make it less dangerous
Use the pre cut to fold the aluminum in this way
Also, you can use a 5mm tool to fold the edges around it
Put your reinforcements in place with the clamps. Drill holes to hold them in place
Lock the reinforcements in place with a screw and a washer in one side, and washer and bolt in the other
In the same way, drill a second hole in the bottom to prevent the reinforcement to slide out
You have to do the same thing in the 3 left corners
and we will see how to build the last reinforcement which hold the kayak unfolded
Voila, the 4 reinforcement are done, now we have to do the part which lock the 2 sides together
Use a Ziptie to hold the kayak in unfolded position
then, use tape to mark the space between screw and the angle of the reinforcements to create a template
Use the tape template to create the shape of the reinforcement in aluminum
and do the cut to place the last part here, between the 4 screws
Place the tape template on the aluminum, mark the holes and the outline of it
Remove the tape.
Verify if the gap between each screws is the same than on the kayak's screws
Finally, create a neat outline shape, here with a width of 3cm (1.5cm in each side of the holes)
Now it's cutting time !
After cutting and drilling holes, the reinforcement is ready. We have to install it in replacement of the zip tie
Use butterfly bolts to hold the reinforcement, that will allow you to remove it without tools.
The reinforcement is in position, now you have to do the same thing on the other side.
Here is the last step, now we have to put the straps to end this side. Let me show you
For this part, you will need a strap, a strap loop and a pen
Take your strap loop and set it on one side of the kayak, not on the joint of the both parts.
The strap have to go over the joint, but not the loop to give more strength.
Put your loop approximatly here and mark the place of the hole where the strap go through.
And do the same thing on the other side.
Now you have the places where you have to do the holes for the 2 pieces of strap.
With the cutter, cut through the plastic on the previous mark.
It's time to place the first side of the strap through the plastic.
Put the strap in your loop and the remaining side of strap through the plastic too.
Tight it and do a knot with the 2 pieces of strap.
You have to repeat this part 5 times, one time here before the marks, one on the end and on the other side.
Remember to not put the loop on the joint but the strap !
You must have something like that. So now you can do improvements for your comfort.
For example you can add foam to protect the sharp edge of the plastic like pool noodle, pipe insulation ...
Here, I used the foam that protected a TV screen.
Use zip ties in few places to hold it.
Also, you can use 2 pieces of tape on the edge to create a layer over the joint, under the straps.
Finally, we will see how to fold the kayak because this is a important part but not the most easy.
It's like to fold an auto pop up tent, you have to know the right moves.
This upper part does not fold inside but to the outside.
Like this !
Do the same thing on the other side. So you have this!
Here it's a folded kayak but we want to win more space, so we have to use a trick.
Take the 2 upper sides and hold them together. Use your knee as a support.
Same thing on the other side. And pass this corner in the "wing" of the opposite side.
Right here !
The plastic will fold by himself like in a natural position.
It's easier than with a tent because the plastic take the shape by himself.
Use the strap loops to hold the sides together. Clips and tight them.
Same thing on the other side. Release, close and tight.
Here it is ! You have your foldable kayak !
Thanks for watching !
We will meet us quickly for a new episode. It will be more inline with the season.
SEE YOU SOON ! :B
