REVEALED: What will happen if North Korea detonates H-Bomb in Pacific
NORTH Korea has threatened to drop a hydrogen bomb in the Pacific Ocean – this is the
horrifying outcome if they do.
The hermit state already claims to have tested a hydrogen weeks ago – its sixth and most
powerful nuclear test to date.
And after US President Kim Jong-un said he would "totally destroy" the regime, North
Korea's foreign minister warned the country could go further than ever before.
And if Kim did detonate an H-bomb in the Pacific, it would have dire consequences.
Detonating a nuclear weapon close to water or the ground massively increases the fallout
from it.
Because it hoovers up debris and water, it creates tons of radioactive material that
rises in the atmosphere and spread for miles.
This could kill masses of people living hundreds of miles from the detonation zone, the Business
Insider reported.
Because North Korea is still in the early stages of miniaturising its nuclear missiles,
there could be a serious mistake made during a launch.
There are fears an ICBM with a nuke warhead attached could possibly miss its target and
end up somewhere else completely – potentially killing lots of innocent people.
Just hours ago, North Korea released doctored images showing Pyongyang blowing up US warplanes
and ships.
This and a mass rally in Pyongyang yesterday are the clearest sign Kim is gearing up for
an imminent attack on the United States.
Last night, North Korea's Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho said nuclear war is "inevitable".
