A Toxic Health Food We Need to Avoid - Duration: 8:07.

all right hello Facebook hi everyone how are we all doing today this is Pamela

Pedrick coming to you live from Ocala Florida I am a registered nurse health

and wellness coach and nutrition consultant for weight loss now if

I'm going to be sharing with you a toxic health food that we should avoid

because remember not all health foods are created equal and in fact not not

all health foods are even healthy for us right drop a 2 in the comment section

if you've ever gone to the grocery store GNC Whole Foods wherever might be and

you see it this whole aisle of health foods all these sports bars and energy

drinks and they're all labeled as health foods or they're marketed as health

foods right drop a 2 in the comment section if you know what I'm talking

about well today I'm going to give you to

teach you about a toxic health food that we do need to avoid because this toxic health

food is actually in a lot of the foods that are marketed as healthy and it just

might be hindering your weight loss and making you sick all right so what is

this toxic health food that we need to avoid it is sucralose that zero

calorie artificial sweetener that is in that yellow packet now why do we need to

avoid this other than we know it's a chemical it's a toxin what does it actually do to

our bodies now you actually will see this like I said in a lot of health foods

and even in a lot of zero calorie gums and in fact a lot of dentists and you'll

see this marketed on TV commercials say you know it is for healthy healthy gums

healthy teeth well why because sucralose is a pH neutral artificial sweetener so

it doesn't cause the cavities so that's why a lot of

dentists say you know this is actually good we want to find a gum that has

that in it right but unfortunately what also sucralose is it is actually what is

called chlorinated sugar all right now we have the 4th of July weekend people

are still celebrating because they're off from work and guess what they got

the pool ready right got it all cleaned up what do we tend to put in the pools

if they're not saltwater pool it's chlorine right why because chlorine

takes away all that bacteria all that nasty stuff they can that can be

in our pools from the rain from debris from all of that right so we're cleaning

it with chlorine right well guess what that is what is in sucralose it is

chlorinated sugar we have chlorine in sucarlose okay so well not even though

it might be good for a mouth cause its pH neutral it's not going to cause

cavities guess what it does in our intestines in

our gut now gut health seems to be all might be reading it on Facebook you might

be hearing about about we need our guts to be healthy in our small intestine

what the chlorine does is it actually is a disinfectant right we put it in our

pool it's in Bleach it's in house cleaners chlorine is a disinfectant but

what happens is in our gut in our small intestine we have flora which is natural

bacteria and it's good bacteria for our gut health but when we consume sucralose

and lots of items that have sucalose in it that chlorinated sugar it actually

kills off that good bacteria I'm going to give you an example of this ladies

women have you ever had to be on an antibiotic for anything and your doctor

recommends you should be eating more yogurt why because it has probiotics

in it why do we need to eat more yogurt or consume a probiotic when we're on an

antibiotic because it kills off the same concept it kills off that good bacteria in

our intestine and what can happen is the yeast can can become you know a lot more yeast

in our system and guess what it causes yeast infections right that's why

when doctors put women on an antibiotic they should be they normally tell you

you need to consume a probiotic or you need to eat to consume more yogurt

because if not that antibiotic is going to kill off that good bacteria

and we are more susceptible and prone to those yeast infections I know it's not

something we like to talk about but that's what happenes well guess what

chlorine does the same thing it kills off that good bacteria so when you're

consuming sucralose and it's in a lot of health foods you're actually killing off

that good flora in your small intestine that good bacteria which can lead to

more yeast infections make us more susceptible to that and also it kills off

serotonin serotonin is created more than 80% of serotonin is created in our small

intestine so if we kill off that good flora that good bacteria we're actually

preventing our small intestine from creating serotonin which is a

neurotransmitter which helps us to feel confident and it's a feel-good thing right

seratonin you might have heard about it um you know whether going to school

or college you might hear about it it's serotonin is important for us it helps

us with our confidence it's a neurotransmitter that we need and helps

us to feel good so not only are we more susceptible to yeast infections we're actually

preventing that small investment from creating that serotonin that we need to

feel good and to feel confident so take a look at your food products that you

have that are labeled or marketed as healthy look on your ingredient labels

and if it has sucralose in it that yellow packet then you might want to be

ditching that out because it's in so many products and the more that we

consume put in our coffee eat that so-called healthy food the more we're

going to be damaging the small intestine and we're going to be killing

off that good bacteria that our body needs to function and we're going to be

more susceptible to losing our serotonin levels to yeast infections women and to other

health problems that can come along plus the fact that it's a chemical it's a

toxin our body's so busy trying to detoxify yourself with our liver and our

kidney that when we consume artificial sweeteners like sucralose our body

actually produces more fat because it needs to protect us from that artificial

sweetener that toxin that chemical and it's our fat naturally encapsulates

chemicals and toxins to protect us because our body's not getting the

proper nutrition that it needs to detox your liver and our kidneys our

body will detoxify itself it's a natural process however the majority of us the

way way majority of us we're not getting the proper nutrients that our body needs

we're not eating all those whole foods so because our body can't detoxify on

its own because we're not getting the proper nutrition that when we do either

in our environment or consume artificial sweeteners like sucralose our body

actually produces more fat so that's a little topic little tip for you try to

stay away from the sucralose look at your food labels because it is in so

many foods nowadays and the ones that are marketed as health foods as

well look on your gradient label if it has sucralose in it ditch it because it's

just going to cause you more health problems in the end and might prevent you

from losing the weight that you want to lose so if you found this beneficial if

My name's Thyanel.

Some of you guys might know me better as Cloyse from The Education Protocol streams, and I

have some streaming-related news for all of you.

First of all, I have officially added Thursday nights back into my streaming schedule.

I've been doing this for the past couple of weeks, and it's been a lot of fun for me.

I hope it's been fun for you guys, too.

We start at 8pm EST and currently go for two hours, wrapping up at around 10pm.

We may be going for at least another hour longer than that in the future on Thursday nights.

I haven't decided yet. It depends on a whole bunch of factors.

Additionally, I'm planning on adding a third day into my streaming schedule sometime soon.

I haven't decided if that's going to be on Tuesday nights or Saturday afternoons yet.

Said stream will be running for three hours.

This means I can theoretically start earning a little bit of revenue from something I really

enjoy doing.

For you guys, not much is going to be changing.

You're still going to get the same content on the same days unless I need to adjust my schedule.

You can, however, choose to support me and send a little money my way in one of several ways.

The important ones for Twitch affiliation, however, are cheering me on with Twitch Bits,

purchasing anything game-related through a link on my channel page, or subscribing to

me with the lovely new sub button Affiliates have just acquired.

Right now, the plan is for any money I make from this to go straight back into the channel.

This will cover anything from new equipment to items for giveaways for you and things

like that.

As always, all of this is encouraged, but never required.

The downside to this Affiliation, though, is that I'm now bound by a contract, which

means uploading previously broadcasted streams here is going to be a little weird.

You guys may have noticed that already.

I now have to wait 24 hours from the end of the broadcast before I post the video anywhere

outside of Twitch.

If the stream footage is not up on this channel a full 24 hours from the end of the previous

stream, they should be up within 48.

If it isn't, please, please be patient with me.

Sometimes, the YouTube uploader takes a lot longer than I think it's going to.

If you want to catch all the week's streams before they wind up here, though, there's

a modest archive over on my Twitch channel.

Those streams will be there a full 14 days after their original airtime.

Of course, this whole Affilliation thing would never have been possible without all of you.
