mini get to know me. I'll just spend a
couple of minutes letting you guys know
who I am and what I'm about because some
of you guys don't know me and I want to
be like as open as possible. So my name
is not Lia Lavon. My name is Talia.
My real name is Talia but I just split
it in half.
LaVon is my middle name. My first name is
Talia. So I just split the Ta. I just
got rid of that and I have Lia LaVon. I
just needed something creative. I've
always loved my name and I thought it
was unique. Like Talia. I didn't know that
many people named Talia. But now I'm
starting to meet people named Talia and I'm
like man I ain't even that unique no more. Like
I know I can't never find my name on the
keychains or the refrigerator magnets or all
that. But I aint' want nobody to have
my name. I wanted to have to Talia. So my
name is Talia. In high school I was voted. I
got my little yearbook right here.
I always voted friendliest. That was my
superlative and I think that kind of
describes who I am in kind of a nutshell.
Like I was the friendliest person in
high school and that's how I am in
real life. Like I'm genuinely. I love people.
I love interacting with people. I love
being myself. I showed you my
yearbook quickly because I was like not.
I wasn't voted most cutest in
high school because I wasn't you know
that cute. That was like a little picture of
me. Ya'll aint need to spend that much time on seeing
how I looked. But yeah I wasn't you
know. I wasn't the most popular kid in
high school but then again I wasn't.
The way I describe myself perfectly is
if anybody has watched 13 reasons Why
that Clay character. Like Clay for some
reason he was like such a nerd but
everybody at school loved him. Like
everybody at school knew him. They like Hey
Clay. Hey Clay. Hey Clay. That's how I was. I'm
like the. You know people knew me. I was
part of sports. I did track and volleyball
in high school but also I was a nerd.
I was in like AP honors classes so I was
you know all over the place. But I was
very friendly to everybody. I was friends
with the cool people and I was friends
with the nerds because that's the people
I had classes with. That's about me and
like high school. At college I went to
North Carolina State University. Love my
alma mater. Love that school. Met some
of the most incredible people. Best
friend who is the whole reason I have a
channel. Hey girl. I met there and it's you
know incredible people. So I graduated
from North Carolina State University. I
am from North Carolina. Born and raised
in North Carolina. Always been in North
Carolina and never lived anywhere else as
soon as I graduated I wanted to stay in
Raleigh because all my friends were in
Raleigh. But I couldn't cause the jobs
weren't in Raliegh. I didn't. I applied for
jobs everywhere Charlotte called me. I
came to Charlotte and I started working
almost like a month after I graduated.
I had like a month break but I have my
offer before I graduated high college. So
I moved to Charlotte. I live in Charlotte.
I work Uptown Charlotte. So we have a..
We don't call it downtown like most cities.
Charlotte got to be the Queen City got
to be different got to be unique. But we
are a growing city in a metropolitan
area and a lot of youtubers I've seen
are from the Charlotte area. So I'm like
glad that Charlotte's getting on the map.
But I live in Charlotte don't live
uptown cause the prices are ridiculous.
But I live on the outskirts of Charlotte
with my roommate. I have a dog she
is a Pomeranian. Do I need to introduce
her on camera?
Let me introduce her. I'll be right back
and get her. I know she looks like rough
right now. So this is this is her. She's
confused she won't look at the camera.
She doesn't acknowledge. She's a Beyonce
of dogs she doesn't acknowledge
presences and things like that. But she
is here. She is a Pomeranian and she is
13 years old. So she's not a young dog. I
don't showcase her on camera as I should
but she is a part of my. She's my baby. So
kind of what drove me to kind of start
my channel is my crochet hair series. If
you guys are familiar you guys know I
had a crochet hair, I loved it and I was
like okay well I'm going just going to do this
crochet hair thing. I've gone almost a
year without putting heat in my head. The
last time I put heat in my head was
January 7th, 2016. I'm coming up on my year
now. My channel isn't just focused on
crochet hair. My channel is also focused
on you know makeup stuff, getting to do
me stuff, advice to small youtubers.
Anything you could think of. I try to be
all-encompassing and give everybody
answers to questions about me, about hair,
about anything they have questions about.
So yeah I started this channel like I
said to kind of as an outlet for my hair
and to talk about that but also. Also
to let you in on my life a little bit at
the time I started I did start it for
fun and all that but I was coming out of
kind of a toxic situation and I know in
our 20s we probably all go through like
a toxic situation. So many people have
videos out there talking about their
toxic situation. So I was like I'm never
probably going to make a video because
we've all been through it girl. Like so I
was coming out of that and I used this as
an outlet to not focus on the situation.
To focus on you know having fun with
editing videos. Like I don't have time to
deal with foolishness because I'm editing stuff. Like
I don't have time for this. And luckily
in like the end of 2016 I was able to
break free of said situation. Thank You. And I entered
2017 with like a brand new outlook and a
brand new space. Like my head was so
clear and this channel has really helped
me stay like positive. Stay focused. I mean
I know I get negative comments probably
a lot but way more positive comments in
my comment section. So many comments in
my section about how much I look like I
Amina Buttafly. And every time I address
it I'm like I do look like her and I
be like I'm not as foolish as her. But I
was like girl you been. You ain't been
Amina foolish. You ain't been Tara foolish.
But we all been a little dumb. We done fell
for some shenanigans at some point. So
every time someone says it I just laugh.
I'm like oh my god Amina. Why do I look
like. Why do I get so many comments that
they I remind them of Amina.
Sometimes I'm like is it the lisp. Like
we both have. We we both hold and form
our mouth the same way. If you guys
aren't familiar with Amina Buttafuly
she's a character on Love and Hip-Hop. Um
a character, no actress, a star I guess
you would call her on Love & Hip-Hop. But yeah I.
also get a lot of comments that I look
like Meredith's Sister on Grey's Anatomy. I
can't remember her name right now. It's escaping me.
I should have looked it up before. Is it like I
can't think of her name the black sister
not Lexie. If you're not familiar with
Grey's Anatomy she's like the mixed sister
of Meredith Grey the main character.
I get a lot of comments that I remind
them of her too. I think it's also we. I
think all three of us hold our mouth and
speak in the same way. So I see where
y'all coming from. I see. It's not that we
totally look like. It's that we like form
our words in the same way. And that's
another reason I was scared to come on
camera because I do have kind of a lisp.
And sometimes it comes out and sometimes
it doesn't. And my friends were like I didn't
even know you had a lisp. I'm like man watch
my videos. Y'all see I got a lisp. So yeah
that's a thing about me. It was an insecurity of
mine so I was like I don't want to
record videos. Come on here. I just
wanted to make a quick video to announce
my giveaway winners but also address
somebody said they wanted to get to know
me and I thought that was awesome. If
you guys have any questions for me leave
them down below. I didn't know
what to record in this get to know me video.
I was like what do people actually want
to know about me. Um so I just kind of
made it broad and all that. You guys know
I'm not like that fancy youtuber out
there. I'm somebody who records on her
steps so my background is free. My camera
was like 260 dollars so the quality ain't
that good. I used the sunlight because
right behind me is the window and I
open my door so you're seeing probably
sunlight from those two angles. I'm not
out here the fancy you know Youtuber.

In order to make WitnessChan's hair I used Rongrong hair and Osana's twintails
Her twintails are super huge and I wanted to keep them, but I didn't like her bang ( overused )
I tried to shorten the hair overhere, so it looks like her old model
So yeah as you can see it's inside her freaking head lol, so I just cut it :V
I skip Osana, too boring
wanted to add some hairclip because she wasn't cute enough... :3c
Many modders would probably kill me because of my old way to add hairstyles haha
If you are new in modding, find another way, it's too long, boring, and the texture is often messy :v
