ashes and taking our groceries for a

little old lady just a bigger stage see

into the hotel is giving me a hard time

intention can I be receptive for this

person and have them eating out of my

hand in no time at all and it isn't by

being phony or artificial it's by

trusting that if I if I'm receptive to

this person if I'm sending love to this

person if I'm sending kindness if I am

being what my source is if I am in

harmony in rapport with source energy

then I can create an ally so my

DFC ESPAÑA ¿Sabemos lo que comemos? CEIP L'ASSUMPCIÓ - Duration: 6:57.

All began at the end of January when our teacher proposed us to create a project called "DESIGN FOR CHANGE"

where we started feeling the things which we would like to change and so that, we decided to change our diet.

All students imagined which things should be changed so, we chose the name of our project.

"DO WE KNOW WHAT WE EAT?"

Research

First of all, we started researching and collecting information and finally we discovered that the saturated fats were harmful to our health.

In addition, we looked at the labels of the products and we were aware of almost all the products that were not healthy, due to the high quantity of palm oil.

Furthermore, a classmate brought a food coloring in which label we could read that this

product might develop some negative effects on the activity and the children's attention.

At the same time we read some news in the newspaper about two researchers who discovered the fat's influence in cancer so, we decided to contact them.

WE DESIGNED BILLBOARDS

We designed billboards all together in order to deal with our food awareness campaign, informing about the scientific advances,

the healthy and unhealthy products and what things must be controlled by reading the labels.

SCIENTIST INTERVIEW

In this case, the scientist Salvador Aznar and Gloria Pascual were incredibly kindly when they were interviewed by the students through skype.

INTERVIEWED CANTEEN SERVICE

Some variety of canteen services were interviewed by all of us about what kind of products were added to the menu and

our own service committed itself to deal with the different suggested changes.

INFORMATIVE CAMPAIGN IN THE CLASSES

Our informative campaign started in our school increasing the partner's awareness… They followed a healthier diet.

We send emails to…

We sent emails to many food firms to inform about our discoveries

and we even made a phone call to the king's house (Royal family):

• King's house, hello?

• Good morning, we're calling from a school of Castellón. We are making a project about food because we are very worried about our health.

• We would like to know if we are able to have an email to send a video to Your Majesty Queen Letizia.

We went out to the streets

We went out of the school to make enquiries and to recommend people

to avoid eating unhealthy food and of course that reading the labels in all the products is very important.

TV is coming into our class

When TV came to interview us, we felt very important people. We also went to some supermarket with them.

• Do you know that Spanish investigators have discovered that palm oil is cancerous?

• I didn't know.

• Do you have at home food with palm oil or hydrogen fats?

• No, no, never.

We go to the High School to inform

An unforgettable day was when we recommended the students at high school that they had to

follow a healthy diet to avoid illnesses and we also told them that health was very important.

We are going to the radio

We informed people in our town with a very interesting interview and many people started following our recommendations.

With this project we have changed our healthy habits

about the food we had in the past.

This way we managed to change them

Now, we eat healthier food

It meant a great evolution for all of us

Moreover, our families and neighbours

could think over this with our campaign.

The canteen service is keeping their promises

and they are not adding colouring to our pasta anymore

and they have started adding blue fish to the menu

and they have reduced fried and wrapped-in-bread food.

To be paid attention about this has been an important achievement for us

We went to a birthday party and when we saw the snacks

we realised that "gusanitos" a snack had palm oil

then we talked to the bar owner

to inform her about healthy and non-healthy food.

and now…

They don't serve these snacks with palm oil anymore!

All our families and acquaintances

are collaborating signing and sharing our campaign

are taking some food which contains palm oil off the market
