It was a great pleasure for Larsen Strings to be able to present Josef Špaček playing the Dvorak violin concerto

with the South Jutland Symphony Orchestra conducted by Johannes Wildner.

Josef Špaček has been a dear friend for many years and has been playing our strings ever since we first met.

We had some great days together in Sønderborg

and had the chance to present him to our new production facility and to show him how a string is made.

We had time with Josef Špaček to test an upcoming product on his excellent Vuillaume violin from 1855

and to add his valuable feedback to that from other great players.

This is a really important part of developing a new string,

and at the same time it is a great inspiration to meet and to cooperate with so many great musicians.

Josef Špaček gave us a memorable performance of the Dvorak concerto to a sold-out hall

and he received a standing ovation from a most enthusiastic audience.

Hopefully we can persuade him to return in a few years' time playing another of the great violin concertos.
