Eden Hazard and Kylian Mbappe are Real Madrid boss Zidane's top transfer targets this summer
REAL MADRID boss Zinedine Zidane has made Eden Hazard and Kylian Mbappe his top targets this summer. Benchwarmers Alvaro Morata and James Rodriguez are both being linked with big-money exits.
Kylian Mbappe has broken into the France team at just 18 to put himself on the radar of Real and other clubs.
Eden Hazard is wanted by Real Madrid after a superb season. And Diario Madrista claim Hazard and Mbappe are Zidanes preferred replacements as the Champions League winners reshape their squad.
The Spanish outlet believe Real could have over £250million to spend if they sell Morata, Rodriguez and Mariano Diaz. Mbappe looks like the most likely new arrival despite Florentino Perez hinting he could be too young for the move.
Monaco are prepared to cash in on their young talents after an incredible season and know they cannot keep hold of the teenage sensation – if he wants to leave.
But Hazard could prove a trickier deal to get over the line as Chelsea are determined to ensure he remains at Stamford Bridge. The PFA Player of the Year offered encouragement to the Blues as he vowed to defend his title.
Alvaro Morata has been linked with Manchester United.
James Rodriguez could also secure a big-money exit this window.
He said: Hopefully next year it is the same, we win the league and then I win Player of the Year. Obviously winning the league is what we want most, and this award is just a bonus.
Zinedine Zidane is keen to freshen up his squad after winning the Champions League and La Liga in his first full season.
We started this season well and we won the league but next year we have to work as hard as we have this season. We have to be ready every year at the same level to stay at the top.
