Overnight in Mount Rainier - Duration: 17:18.
I just got up
It's 7:08 am
but I had to get ready by 7:30 am
I overslept
Today we're going to Mount Rainier
so I've gotta get ready quickly
Actually Mount Rainier was in my bucket list even before I came to Seattle
so the original plan was to rent a car for only me and my brother
and that's why we got the international license, too
but unexpectedly, I happened to get some crews
It's you again?

We five crews decided to go to Mount Rainier together!
This is the car we're riding for this camping
We're riding this all together
I won't be able to stand this

But she seems too uncomfortable sitting between me and my brother

At last, we can see Mount Rainier
This is the map of WA
Where bears live
There're 25,000 black bears living in the whole WA
So we could've seen a bear while hiking if lucky
but that was not an easy thing
as Devin has never seen a bear even though he'd been doing camping many times
But...

We're now at the camping place
On the way here, we saw a bear
which was the first time for my American friend, Devin, too
I think it's a very good sign cuz I saw it only by the first time

This is the view we have just before we start hiking

Before we start climbing, cuz we haven't had any foods yet
Now we're actually starting hiking
The weather is perfect for hiking
and I'm feeling very good
but my brother didn't sleep much last night
so except for the sleep

Devin is doing a guide in this trip
so he's trying to figure out how to get to the goal
This is a very brief description of our course
We're not going to the peak of Mount Rainier
but heading to the best spot we can have a nice view
And that's called skyscraper
Honestly, no body knew where that was, but we just went for it
The mountain itself is quite huge
but this course itself doesn't take that much time
and not that stiff
so it can be easier than hiking Mount Bukhan, which I climbed with Wessel last time
I was ignored
Why?
Got ignored
We don't get sensitive in Korea about stepping out of the trail when hiking,
but in the US, I found out it was quite strict about that
I apologize, above alll, that I was careless to step out of the trail
When I saw the natural surroundings, it was very well preserved,
so it was very convincing to me
and thought Korean should try that, too!
They're taking a rest
What a view
I think this is the most dangerous thing here
cuz you'll fall to the end once you happen to slip
This is why I'd keep doing hiking
And if you look at the other side,
There's a lake
A real lake
The funny thing is,
there's a very clear line dividing the grass and the snow
and you might think it could be cold because there are lots of snow here
but it's not cold at all

If you look around, there're lots of snow
but it's hot
That was the most special feeling
And the air was very clean,
so you could see all the details of the clouds on the mountain
