Dr. Kala Sridhar - CCTG BL.12 Trial Study Chair - Duration: 1:59.so my name is Kala Sridhar I'm a medical oncologist at the Princess
Margaret Cancer Centre I'm the site lead for the GU medical oncology site group
and I'm an associate professor at the University of Toronto
so the BL 12 study is a randomized phase 2 study in second line metastatic
bladder cancer that compares NAB paclitaxel against paclitaxel it's an
investigator initiated international randomized study so I think it's an
important study because metastatic bladder cancer has fairly dismal
outcomes up until recently we really didn't have many lines of treatment to
treat this cancer we had a first-line platinum-based chemotherapy but beyond
that we really had very little and so this trial is done in a setting where
there was a high unmet need and hope that it would improve outcomes and help
patients in that setting so I think collaborative clinical research is the
key especially in tumour sites where you don't have a lot of patients it's really
important that we come together the BL 12 is a good example of a trial that
spanned across Canada and including Australia and New Zealand so if you
think about it there are a lot of investigators involved there are a lot
of patients involved and I think as a collaborative network we have the
ability to move things forward much quicker
I think the areas that are most exciting looking forwards are looking at
chemotherapy approaches that are improving upon the older chemotherapy
approaches especially looking at immunotherapy and sometimes combining
immunotherapy and chemotherapy together and then finally this area of immuno
conjugates where you have a drug that targets something in the cancer and at
the same time brings along a chemotherapy to try to attack the cancer
so I think that's where the future is going it's been a very exciting few
years and I expect the future will be the same

Virgul - Rainha Reaction [Koreans Hoon & Cormie] / Hoontamin - Duration: 6:16.Today we'll watch a recommendation from our subscribers
We'll watch a Portuguese music video
I'm not sure what music video it is
Recently the number of Portuguese subscribers have increased in our channel
We'll now try to watch more Portuguese music videos
But due to personal issues
We had previously uploaded videos every day
But meanwhile that frequency will decrease
But since our trip to the fun music videos will continue!
What?
Why!
...Should we go watch it?
It was very artificial
It was slightly like from the old style
I liked the accompaniment
Oh, why are all the clothes like such
They wore underclothes
Why are they all wearing sexy clothes
The dance is unique
Wow, it's sticky
So handsome
I didn't see it
I enjoyed it, but how should I explain it?
It has been a year since the song released
I naturally watched and enjoyed it
First of all the rhythm was good
The content of the music video was just sticky
Just... pretty women
The singer's voice was good too
And especially one of all them was very pretty
I just...
Should I say an unfamiliar music?
Unfamiliar music?
It wasn't that unfamiliar
It wasn't that unfamiliar
But it had some unique points in it
Maybe because his voice was unique?
The voice wasn't that unique
I don't know, it was just unfamiliar
The Portuguese music that were recommended to us
Are very... what should I say
Calm?
Calm but, also seems like a ballad
There were many unique music
Today it's a popular song
And a song you can naturally listen to
Personally for me it wasn't unfamiliar
But the previous Portuguese music videos
Had very unique characteristics in it
So it stayed on my mind
Today I liked the fact we could just naturally enjoy it
Because music taste have it's personal individual variation
But I might think about it later
As I did reactions there were some songs like that
At first they were unfamiliar music
But later I remembered and looked it up
'Ah, what song was it?'
There were some that I looked it up 'Is it available in the music sites?'
Who knows I might think about this song later
Our trip to the recommended videos continues

The Tyrolean Iceman Ötzi - the mummy of the copper-stone age tools and life - Duration: 10:22.Ice Mummy 45-year-old a man who lived 4550 ± 19
years ago, nicknamed Etsi, was found in 1991
German tourists, on height of 3210 meters in the Ötztal
Alps, on the border of Austria and Italy,
hence the Austrian name.
Mummy's body is notable and the fact that it was more
60 tattoos that makes her oldest
tattooed with mummy.
Although the find was made in the last century, new research
tools are shed light on life and life of Etsi
in the Copper-Stone Age.
And also talks about his last days of life,
before he was killed.
Six artifacts that were found at the site of death
ice man from 3 different places in the Southern Alps.
Arrowheads were from the valley of Trentino in the South
Tyrol, 40 km from the proposed living place
the community of Etsi.
Travel to those places ran through the highlands.
Previous research showed that he
was about 1.6 m and weighed about 50 kg.
Tattoos were made by rubbing soot into cuts,
possibly as a treatment from osteoarthritis.
The hair was dark chestnut, as well as the eyes.
Wore a beard and was dressed according
with the climate of the Alps.
The shoes were from different types of leather, belt and waistband
a bag of calf leather.
He was also dressed in goat's leggings, without pants, cloak of woven
grass, a bear's cap and a sort of sheepskin coat.
Maybe it was a shepherd, judging by the analysis of isotopes,
talking about his childhood and movements during
adulthood.
As well as with other interesting finds, around the ice
began to be created myths and conjectures.
If the scientists are assumptions based on results
research, then in fantasy journalists and ordinary people
freedom is much greater.
Even the myth of the curse was born Etsi, similar to the curse
pharaohs associated with a mummy Tutankhamun.
But in this case, draw zaushi, it turned out wrong
many deaths, only eight from hundreds of people who
in one way or another were associated with Etsi and
are still alive.
And only 3 of the deaths were not accidental.
And this is not even statistically significant significant.
With great success, you can talk about the "curse of potatoes,"
if you start to tell, that people before death
under mysterious circumstances, in one way or another had
contacts with potatoes on lifetime.
In addition to the myths, there were also judicial Disputes, but I will tell about them
at the end of the article.
As they say: do not switch, it will be very interesting.
In the new work, scientists analyzed the following tools:
dagger arrows, end scraper,
borer, deer retoucher horns with wooden handle
and the tip of the arrow is stuck in the shoulder, which most likely
and finished off the already exhausted rights.
The brass ax that was found with him in a new study
participation did not accept.
Analysis of stone products offers an extensive network
maintenance and circulation on the southern slope of the Alps, which
was not limited to local material.
It was supplied from various extractive and
production centers.
In those days, production stone tools was
specialized activities, especially for workpieces
daggers, blades, and tips arrows.
Because you need a significant time to develop skills,
to become specialized flint stone mason,
and get a high degree skill.
One master could easily service one or even several
villages.
For this reason, that Ezi was not himself making blades
and blanks, of which his tools are made.
Especially since with him not there were necessary workers
tools.
Also points to this and the fact that the drill and the end
scraper were manufactured from different materials, and
two arrowheads from the quiver in general, judging
by analysis, could be made different people.
The only semi-finished product in the things of an icy man,
there was a small scale similar to on waste from the tips
arrows and daggers.
Ezi could pick it up in the workshop.
Most tools icy people are typical
for those used in various cultural
groups of Northern Italy.
And the end scraper and knife resemble characteristic
blades tools Horgen cultures from
eastern Switzerland.
While taking all these facts and Etsi himself did not
his tools he had enough skills for
work with stone tools.
With him there was an instrument for retouches of horns and footprints
retouching on 5 instruments.
Perhaps Ezi was courting their property
in the process of operation.
Because there are traces of wear and tear
and retouching.
Scrapers were used for cutting plants, cane
or softwood.
Knife and lugs in these goals were not used,
because they were treated with care, because archery had
important, but be and attitude towards them
was special.
Knives could generally have symbolic meaning
and wore them in a conspicuous place in sheath on the belt.
The best way to store tools would be wearing
they are in the waist bag, as most likely it was,
except for the knife.
In his last campaign the icy man took a pretty
limited set of tools or part was lost
in connection with the events in the mountains.
A variety of raw materials say that the instrument
he received at different times.
A noticeable wear says that they were used
a fairly long time.
A dagger with a broken tip, worn out blades, drill
remade from the old knife, only two tips
for arrows, repeatedly retouched and one small
flint flake, instead of a handful, says,
that Etsi did not have access to either to outcrops of a suitable
raw materials, nor to the workshops.
Also, no flint was found for breeding fire, although
possible for these purposes a scraper was used
and the fungus that was in the waist bag.
These data together with analysis of the remains of pollen
in the digestive tract, talk about the last two
days of life and the itinerary of the representative the Copper-Stone Age.
About 33 hours before death he was in the alpine
at an altitude of 2500 meters above sea level,
and was wounded in the arm.
The nature of the wound can indicate to self-defense.
Then he went down to the level about 1200 meters in the south
slope of the ridge where he spent some time.
And 4-5 hours before death, he climbed to the top again
about 3 thousand meters, where and died early in the summer from
The arrow overtook him from behind.
Early research has already theory of participation
Etsi in intergroup conflicts.
But go to the showdown with unfinished yew onions and a small amount
arrows and tools, pretty not logical.
Perhaps these events caught his one or a group of people
Unawares and he could not return back to my village, and
injury indicates that, that retouching tools
was made before these events.
In general, even before the archer's arrow, it was already not easy for him.
Also strange that is not considered the version that other valuable
things that are possible were with him could have taken
with an opponent.
What can change the overall picture.
Despite the great interest to the find and aspects
life of Etsi, adventure it did not end and
after death.
First there were difficulties with a definition on whose
territory was made find, Austrian or
Italian.
Because of the glacier, which complicated definition of the border by
watershed between rivers Inn and Adige.
But this issue was resolved faster follow-up.
So it turned out that the mummy in 92 m 56 centimeters on
territory of Italy.
The next dispute has already begun between the discoverers,
Simon's spouses and the government the Italian province.
According to Italian law the fee of the finder is
25% of the cost of the find.
However, the government proposed The price at that time
about 5300 US dollars.
Simon did not like it and through the court he achieved the official
status of the discoverer and asked for 300 thousand dollars,
and the government has appeal.
However, an impressive amount turned her head and the other
people who started to claim on the discovery, stating that
they found it, and Saiman just photographed.
One of the applicants for payment, even stated that she spat
on a corpse in the hope that her DNA will be detected ...
But for a minute, it was coming already the 14th year since the discovery.
And initially no one thought, that this corpse is an ancient mummy
and he was generally mistaken for crashed climber ...
Only forensic experts with the archaeologist have concluded
about antiquity.
Just 13 years after finds, Simon dies
in the mountains, and litigation continue.
Only 2 years after Simon's death in 2006
the court finally recognized its pioneer,
as well as the fact that the government must pay
legal costs.
After that, the wife of Mrs. Simon reduced twice
amount up to 150 thousand dollars.
But the government again has filed an appeal,
that the cost of opening museum should also be taken into account
and Simon relies only 50 thousand ...
And only later in 2008 government and Simon
settled the dispute by stopping on a payment of 150 thousand dollars
and part of the income from tourism, associated with Etsi.
This is how we met in this story more tragic events
than 4 thousand years ago and modern
life realities.
And I do not say goodbye to this, do not forget to leave
comments and subscribe per channel.

Vice president Osinbajo tips Nigeria to reach last 16 round in Russia - Duration: 2:07.Nigeria's Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo believes the Super Eagles will hold their own in Tuesday's final Group D fixture against Argentina's Albiceleste at the ongoing Fifa World Cup in Russia.
Speaking ahead of the encounter slated for the Krestovsky Stadium, Saint Petersburg, Osinbajo, who was in the Oyo state capital for the launch of National Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), expressed confidence that the Gernot Rohr-tutored side will overcome the South Americans while chatting with journalists on Tuesday at the Alakia, Airport, Ibadan.
"Tonight's encounter is an important one and I am sure that Nigerian team is fully prepared," he said, even as he was quick to add that the Super Eagles' will progress to the Last 16 round.
"By the grace of God, victory will be ours. I hope the boys will give in their very best. I am sure and confident that they will be prepared for the important encounter.".
"They will surely advance to the next stage in the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Russia," Osinbajo submitted.
Interestingly, Nigeria and Argentina have met in eight matches, including four games at FIFA World Cup group stages, in 1994, 2002, 2010 and 2014, with all fixtures won by the South American side.
But the Super Eagles will progress to the knockout round if they claim a win over the Albiceleste in Tuesday's showdown in Saint Petersburg.

Syence & Kaidro - Cold Fire (feat. Kait Weston) (Lyrics Video) - Duration: 3:40.📝 Syence & Kaidro - Cold Fire (feat. Kait Weston) Lyrics
Just another night, moonlit sky above our heads
You sing to me a song, I'll find the words that make sense
'Cause I start questioning who we are and what we'll be?
Should I let us go, let you be you Me be me
You said you'd be the one
You said you'd be the one for me
But all you do is run from the fear that your heart might be mine to keep
Thought you were the one
You used to be the sun to me
You burned up in the flames, you're to blame
It's a shame that I couldn't see
Your love is just a cold fire
I'm scared that every word you say is something I'll believe
If you're not ready now, when will you ever be ready for me
These nights are getting lonely, I need you there to hold me
Let me lay our love deep in cement
But falling out of love with you is harder than I guessed
You said you'd be the one
You said you'd be the one for me
But all you do is run from the fear that your heart might be mine to keep
Thought you were the one
You used to be the sun to me
You burned up in the flames, you're to blame
It's a shame that I couldn't see
When your love is just a cold fire

The Similarity Trap - Duration: 2:32.This video was sponsored by Squarespace.
Hi, this is Emily from MinuteEarth.
Life and language evolve in many of the same ways: a group splits, and over time, small
changes occur in genetic traits and particular words.
Over more time, those differences get amplified, eventually leading to new species and new
languages.
So by looking for similarities between different species and different languages, we can trace
their origins and draw their family trees.
Except, sometimes, similarities can be misleading.
Take the similar-sounding words "emoticon" and "emoji": they describe similar things,
so you'd think they'd have similar origins.
But "emoticon" is a combination of the English words "emotion" and "icon",
while the word "emoji" combines the Japanese words for picture and character; the two words
don't hint at any hidden relationship between English and Japanese.
Other coincidences include the English and Mbabaram words for "dog", the French and
German words for "Fire", the Malay and Greek words for "Eye", and the Inuktitut
and Turkish words for "boat."
And similarities in biology can also lead us astray.
For example, biologists long thought that these two birds must be sibling species, but
recent DNA testing suggests that they're not even on the same evolutionary branch, and
may be less related than penguins and flamingos; they evolved their bald headedness independently
- probably because they both pursued the same carrion-eating lifestyle.
Similarly, these two look rodents look so much alike that we named them both "porcupine,"
but in fact one of them is actually more closely related to the super-soft chinchilla, while
the other is more closely related to the very naked naked mole rat.
So, It turns out, if you are trying to determine how two things are related, you can't just
use one or two data points, even if they're VERY pointy.
Let's say this video inspires you to create your very own website about plants and animals
that aren't as closely related as they look..

why are women chefs off the menu? - Duration: 11:47.Last Tuesday was a bad night to eat out at any of the world's most cutting edge restaurants
Most of the elite chefs had left their kitchens to find out where their.establishments ranked in the latest World's 50 Best Restaurants list
They'd swapped whites for cocktail dresses and DJs and were dancing to a 1980s tribute band in Bilbao's football stadium and despite
the intensity of the competition in what has become the most anticipated and coveted, if controversial, ranking among chefs, the mood was of true camaraderie
The list started as a bit of.a lark in the office of industry title Restaurant Magazine
Since its inception in 2002, it has become its own enterprise, now owned by publishers William Reed with the awards held in
a rock-star sized stadium. But if you're not an elite chef, or you prefer to eat out on your local high street rather than in a high-concept dining room, why should you
care? Well, W50B's influence in changing the way we think about food has been phenomenal, even if we never visit any of their top 50
Who beyond an inner chef coterie would.otherwise have heard of Ferran Adria's El Bulli, (the first winner) that helped spur the global influence of Spanish avant-garde cooking and the kind of theatrical, multi-course, high-end menus the 50
Best continues to prominently reward.Noma, run by an idealist chef, Rene Redzepi, who loves to forage, was "discovered" by the W50B, thus kick-starting the whole new Nordic culinary movement
Just as the.high-end looks that appear on fashion-week catwalks eventually trickle down to the high street, so the dishes championed by such awards slowly filter into the restaurant mainstream
This year Osteria Francescana in.Modena, Italy, regained the number one spot.Massimo Bottura is its chef patron
Significantly, it was his wife, Lara Gilmore, CEO of their Food for Soul projects (for recovering otherwise waste food into
dignified meals at their global Reffertorio), who made the first acceptance speech
While it is gratifying to see a woman take the stage in the #MeToo climate, it highlighted the uncomfortable fact
that only three of the restaurants on the W50B list are run by a female chef.It seems perverse too that the voters should have previously awarded Best Female Chef to Dominique
Crenn, Nadia Santini and Anne-Sophie Pic, yet none of their restaurants figure on this year's 50 Best
Why qualify the work and talent of women with a different standard? By comparison,
New York's ultra-prestigious James Beard Foundation awarded 11 out of 16 culinary awards to women earlier this year
There are questions, too, about what may influence the W50B judges as to where.they visit
Why are there no British restaurants – such as L'Enclume, the two-Michelin-star restaurant in Cartmel, Cumbria – beyond London? Compounding the lack of diversity, more than 50 per cent of
the restaurants are in Europe; the African continent is barely acknowledged.W50B's detractors say it has become too big and full of pomp
This year's event had reams of red carpet, flame-effect light.shows and there were posters and giant wooden spoons on display all over Bilbao
In its defence, chefs say that it is a friendly event."We work so hard, we rarely have time
to socialise with our colleagues," says Clare Smyth.Smyth won the best female chef 2018, yet highly contentiously, Core by Clare Smyth was not ranked within the top 50 restaurants
Naturally, there are.competitor awards. In the US, former music-industry CEO Steve Plotnicki started out by sharing his lifelong interest in food on his blog
Eleven years ago, he asked 175 of the most responsive followers.of said blog to pick their best restaurants in North America and Europe
Since then he has expanded the aptly named Opinionated about Dining list, which rounds up the top 100 of
what he and a database of self-selected global voters think are the top restaurants in each region
The majority of its voters are not heavyweights within the industry, rather regular working professionals
who are super enthusiastic about eating out and have the finances to do so.OAD is now based on 160,000 reviews contributed to by more than 4,500 people, thus covering a far
broader spectrum of restaurants.Proving that, in the food industry at least, the appetite for best-ofs seems insatiable, is another new award launching next year
IMG, the company behind the worldwide Taste festivals,.is even promising TV coverage
Its founders say it will be similar to the Oscars with categories that will be inspected and judged by a 100 strong panel, apparently with near perfect
gender equality. It won't be a list format and it promises to shake things up with more unusual awards including for "the chef who stays in their kitchen rather than going around
the world to food congresses" and "the best chef with no tattoos". controversial, ranking among chefs, the mood was of true camaraderie

Social Media Process After Shooting a Wedding - Duration: 5:28.Most photographers know they need to be marketing better in their business, but they don't know
where to start.
They're so consumed with taking photos on the weekend of weddings, family shoots, the
never ending to-do list of client emails and trying to get their workflow down.
They know they need to find more clients, and be more affective in their marketing time
and their marketing dollars, but they just need somebody to give them a plan.
Hey, I'm Jamie from jamiedelainewatson.com, and today I'm going to be sharing with you
exactly how I market a wedding after each and every wedding.
One of our biggest struggles as photographers is having everything we know just in our heads.
We know when we want to post on social media, but very few of us have a written down plan.
Is there a piece of paper you could hand to an office assistant detailing exactly how
you want your images shared on social media after every wedding?
If not, put that on your to-do list this week to get it done.
My workflow is that after every wedding, immediately I post two sneak peek images to Facebook and
two sneak peaks to Instagram.
These aren't necessarily posted in real time, they might be scheduled.
One will be posted as I'm working on the wedding, downloading the images, and the other one
will be maybe 12 hours later.
Same thing for Instagram.
But, before you've edited the images, you're making sure you still have a few out there.
You're editing a couple, getting them out into the world.
Then after the images are edited, you're going to have this blog post of 40-50 images, and
then you're going to promo this blog post everywhere you can.
You're going to announce the blog post on Facebook with an image, maybe even two.
You can schedule them out, so it drips out day by day.
Same thing with Instagram.
The next thing I do is I upload nine images to Instagram, my portfolio account, which
you can find @jamiedelainephoto.
You can see what that looks like.
I use strategic hashtags, and I love that account for sharing more of my work consistently
on Instagram.
Then I upload two images for my business account, @jamiedelaine.
This account is a mix of my personal life, my business, and it's not just wedding photos.
Then finally, I make sure that I'm exporting images for Instagram Stories, and I'm sharing
that maybe the day I publish the blog post, maybe a couple days later, is another touchpoint
for clients to see my work.
Then finally, a couple weeks after, I'm uploading those blog images to a specific album on Facebook,
on my Facebook page.
To recap, Facebook, we're doing one to two sneak peek images, one to two images to announce
the blog post, then you're uploading a full album of images.
You can see here, this is how I upload the sneak peek image to Facebook.
I've tagged all the vendors, and I've just uploaded that one image.
Then if you don't know how to schedule a post, this is how you're going to want to do it.
You're going to want to pull up your page.
Right beside publish, click the arrow, down to schedule, and you're good to go.
You just set the time you want to schedule.
Now, this is how I've announced the blog post.
Here's a clear example.
I've included a few paragraphs for the blog post, tagged the vendors.
Then here is the albums.
Access under photos using the left hand sidebar.
The individual albums of full sessions ... Well, not full sessions, but all the images shared
on a blog, in another way that clients can see my work.
Then within that album, here's how I upload the images.
I have a link to the full blog post.
I have a call to action.
If somebody comes across this photo, because their friend was tagged in it and they're
not familiar with my work, they don't need to hunt for how to find my website, or how
to contact me, it's all right here.
On Instagram, we're doing one to two sneak peek images, one to two to announce the blog,
three to nine for a portfolio account.
I say three, because sometimes with smaller portrait sessions, I'm just doing three.
And then the Insta Story images.
I do all my scheduling in Planoly, which I love.
Then, I'm using Photo Mechanic to make this really, really easy to crop and resize all
of these images in just a few minutes.
Especially for things like Insta Story that need really specific crops, Photo Mechanic
is my go-to.
I absolutely love it.
All in all, batching is the name of the game.
You have to be organized, you have to have a system in place, and know what your marketing
plan is, so that after every wedding, you could just follow through the plan that you've
already written out in advance.
If you wish you had a step by step guide to not only attract new inquiries, but turn those
lead into actual bookings, Book New Brides is the course for you.
Book New Brides teaches wedding photographers how to market their businesses to consistently
find new clients.
Book New Brides is a eight video module course that will lead you through client experience
to perfecting your online presence and drive in referral traffic, so you can get back to
doing the work that you love.
Check it all out at booknewbrides.com.

5 Tips to Help you Take Care of Yourself *First* - Duration: 20:55.hello hello I'm going live in a couple streams oh hello hello this is John
Ruman thank you for taking the opportunity to say hello to me this
evening I want to if we have not in met each other my name is John Durham and
I'm an international business coach and consultant and I'm actually having a
course on stress management and what I'm talking about that I are five steps to
help you reduce your stress and to help yourself first I reference the idea of
having a oxygen mask if you've been on the airplane and I'd like to give you
these five pointers and then a few minutes in I actually have a handful of
people who have been so amazing and have helped me in coming up with other
amazing ways that you can help and love yourself and I will use what they say in
this talk as well so those who did participate in that I really want to
thank you for that and one of these lucky amazing people will win ironic
John will win the the free pass for the actual workshop that is happening on
Saturday so so let me tell you the five steps first and onion and then I'm going
to jump into the other five that I have made and then I'm going to jump into
what a handful the people that contributed made and then we're gonna
take our lucky winner so Ronnie you're on Fuego by the way good to see you
again okay so these are five steps that I feel
will help people to be taking care of themselves first a lot of people a lot
of women to be honest because they're so loving and nurturing and caring will
often take care of others before they take care of themselves and the
challenge with that many of you out there women watching is you don't give
yourself the love and attention you need unfortunately here's what also happens
be at the same time men who have responsibility for the family will wear
themselves down as well they'll literally work themselves sick and the
women will too don't get me wrong so what I would like and encourage all of
you do is to listen very closely to let's say listen very closely to what
I'm asking and offering because I would highly encourage and actually suggest
and truly advise that you find things that you can do such as these or others
that help you to take care of yourself first because once you take care of
yourself and you're strong you're powerful and you're confident and all
those things are working out well for you at that point you can be a best
service to the world so I'll tell you a personal goal of mine my objective is to
help 1 billion with the beat people across the planet feel that they can
literally be do have anything that is John's vision for his life if I get sick
every day and if I don't exercise and if I don't eat well and all those things I
will not be in my greatest capacity to give to this world and I love doing this
so I'm not working right now I'm happily Jenner
truly serving one and when I do this this is a lot of fun ok so let me tell
you my five first of all you need to know what area or areas and I would
encourage you to pick one that you feel highly insecure inadequate in it could
be finances it could be exercise it could be diet I don't know what it is
what do you have is a common science security or high weakness or what is the
big problem and in for ease for just the sake of argument I would encourage you
to pick one of these and the reason why it's good to pick one is it's not
overwhelming and then you can kick butt move forward feel better and then you
can conquer the other ones later so what is the first thing that comes to
your mind when it comes to what's my big problem you know and if you're alone
please blurt it out and I want to tell you whoever you are and whatever you
blurt it out in your head or out out to the world
most people many people have exactly the same problem so it's great is you're not
alone so with that in mind this is still part one I want you to ask yourself and
say what can I do with what this is to create victory victory victory mindset a
lot of people become a victim in whatever the big problem is in their
life so I'll take a common one I hear daily when I coach people and that is
finances so what I would say is what can you learn do change like what behavior
are you doing that's making you not where you want to be what are the things
that you could learn that you could become better at that would make you
more financially sound maybe talk to a financial advisor maybe stop spending so
crazily maybe save a little first before you spend any money because there's
something called Parkinson's law which has nothing to do with the the physical
illness but it has to do with the the fact that you'll spend whatever is
available so if you shorten the amount of what is available you'll deal with
whatever it is that is left and make best do with that so what I would
encourage you to do is take one step forward now so whatever your problem is
and say I'm going to do this that's part one and once you take that step that one
thing may truly break you out of that existence that is the old you to become
this amazing awesome version of you okay number two I'm gonna move five minutes
that's it not I wanna run a marathon not
I'm gonna run a mile five minutes of movement
I would encourage a walk if you don't live in someplace that's safe do
something in the house that moves for five minutes it doesn't have to be
crazily high-intensity it really doesn't the important thing is is you feel more
out of breath than norm you normally do you will naturally with a five-minute
regular practice of this literally I promise you you will because five
minutes is so easy you will actually do this easier in using user as time goes
on so what that means is next time it's cake and the beauty of that is once it's
cake like I'm doing this let's say it's walking you may take a slide job or you
may double it ten minutes it doesn't really matter
start super small super easy and then take those steps and that's it say
that's my commitment I'm gonna walk for five minutes and if you can't do that
then what I would do is actually go to like the YouTube channel that does
fitness for five minutes nothing too hardcore because trust me you can kick
your butt in five minutes do not make that the five minutes so do that
movement increases the way you feel it strengthens your brain it increases your
body and how you feel in yourself it really will change that but a lot of
people live in high stress and they don't know how to change the way they
feel okay three ask for help from someone else or a hey it's Remax what's
up guys it's probably Gabby or it could be Roger
what's up with that I would ask you to ask someone to help you support you in
return you'll support them with whatever their issue is it's actually not the
hardest thing people love helping others so all you have to do is say hey here's
my problem I've committed to five minutes of whatever it is this has
nothing you have five minutes X that's by the way this could be hey Chris this
could be quite simply you committing to focusing on your finances for five
minutes a day just knowing in your mind where the numbers are or as I said maybe
putting aside 10% for yourself before you spend it all whatever it is so so
take a step commit yourself to take that action find someone who will support you
if you don't have someone reach out to me this is what I do all day and
coaching okay so make sure you add return the favor though if it's not
someone like me with me you exchange the money but for them you can exchange the
time to say hey I'm going to call you everyday and we can do it across
accountability partner system okay number four I want you to leverage the
idea of two concepts in one what is Law of Attraction I'm sure everyone here has
heard a lot traction the secret all that and it's a universal law that the divine
that the cosmos the universe really will conspire to help you but we are also as
a human structure designed for it and there's something I'll often teach a
class called the amygdala which is part of our old old old deep-rooted part of
our brainstem and what it does is it helps us to filter what we see and
experience so the reason I bring this up I want you to appreciate what's working
well so please take a moment as you're working through this big challenge you
have the number the part one of what we talked about and take a few minutes to
write 10 to 20 I would encourage 20 things that you appreciate that happened
that day that moved in the direction of where you want to be and what this will
do is will slowly program your mind to believe it's possible and then you'll
actually begin to get momentum last but not least time for you why is this
important and and a lot of people just say I don't have time for me listen the
five minute walk I did gave you or five minute exercise routine could be time
for you maybe even asking for help may be a time for you but I want you to
really truly do something that you want to do for you on a regular and
consistent basis of you some examples dance paint meditate go for a walk write
read a lot of people only don't need give themselves time to read a book cook
if you're a cook person any of these or more so and with that what I will do is
I will go to what people who actually answered for them what was something
they would do to make themselves feel a sense of well-being and stress relief so
and then I'll actually summarize and then we'll pick our winner for
Saturday's workshop so let me briefly go into this so Amanda said taking deep
breaths in and out which has a wonderful calming effect in the body Thank You
Amanda for that nirisha said enjoying the wonderful colors of evening sunsets
sunsets and sunrises are truly a blessing and if you have the ability to
be easily seeing them I would strongly encourage you do this because it's
something that people don't take in very often many people and it really can be
very very even spiritual but I would say just highly moving movement or moment
for people very powerful okay listening to music says Jesse perfect
hey Nadia Nadia excuse me so listening to music music is a very
very popular way to make you feel good and reduce stress so I think that's
perfect sitting on the beach and watching the
waves crash says Jose Ann Joanne's excuse me
very very very wonderful soothing thing and the great thing about the beach too
it has all the free ions which will which will actually calm you which is
the grounding thing if you saw my grounding video before I go into that in
depth and I'll do two more so doing yoga or meditate to relieve stress
very nice watching birds flying from my porch that's a nice one I lied I'm gonna
do one more and Sean said I love to dance and I paint so I think that's
wonderful so I'm gonna rehash these so the first
find something that you have a big problem with now and actively take one
action on the regular consistent basis that will help that progress out of that
so you're not I'm in this state to move your body when your vital moving your
body you will feel more alive and vital ask for help and support this could also
be viewed as an accountability partner find an accountability partner so when
you do these things you feel more alive write down what is working this you can
call an appreciation or gratitude journal take whatever it is you're
trying to go towards and write 20 things that work towards it trust me it's magic
do not type this do not voice dictate this physically write down with your
hands there is a connection that happens trust me I've tried them all
and there's no nothing that compares to writing them down it connects with some
part of your brain and it's very magical very powerful and last but not least
make sure you have actual time for you so these are five things that you can do
now that will reframe and shape the way you feel that yourself and it's you
putting the axe oxygen mask on you so you're not giving it away and you're not
letting the beautiful gem and amazing person and spirit that you are be
stifled because of things getting in the way so again those of you who did
contribute to this drawing I want to take a moment again to appreciate you so
I have the sheets here oops they are not in any particular order they're all
folded because a few these people I know well and I can't give any preferential
treatment okay so they're holding right here we go the winner is for the stress
relief workshop this person gets a free tickets value of 125 175 depending if
they were going to pay early or not Candice
to sont or to st. i'm not really sure how to say it
congratulations Candice thank you so much Candice for participating for those
who unfortunately didn't win I still honor and appreciate you taking the time
to do that you made today's live and talk that much more vibrant and honestly
it's nice to think what am i doing to make my life feel that stressful so I
would still love to have each and every one of you at the workshop on Saturday
so let me give the details and we can go over that and and let you know if you
forgot all the details so it's Saturday this Saturday the 30th it is in Santa
Cruz Green Market starting at 11 a.m. and I actually have some stuff here
starts at 11 a.m. and it ends at 12:30 p.m. and there's two costs if you pay
before the actual date it is one two five one twenty five tt if you come in
day out whatever you want you're welcome to do that it's 175 TT I do start on
time if you do not know where you're going and you think you are going to
come please save my mobile number seven four four eighty five fifty five it's
all over the place whether you're watching me on Instagram or Facebook and
shoot me a whatsapp text call whatever I will be there or someone will be there
to help you if I am NOT and it's gonna discuss three primary things so we will
discuss two techniques that one is for really really high stress like oh my god
I'm freaking out like you feel it and you feel major physical reactions to it
that's called EFT or emotional freedom technique they also call tapping which
is kind of based off of Chinese medicine acupuncture acupressure points it's
something that people look at my say what the heck is that anyway that when
they do it it kind of blows their mind because it's really really effective and
then the other one is called coherence which is a
heart centering technique which has been scientifically proven in study after
study to reduce the effects of stress people who have had the oppression
they've reversed it PTSD people who are veterans of wars have actually stopped
the physical impact of PTSD it's very powerful the effect that a client had
his description of it he probably is the highest dressed person I've met and and
his description is very simply it was John it's just like the start of a two
week vacation go into pigeon point pigeon points and tobago for those that
aren't in Trinidad or don't even know it if you're in Trinidad I'm Tobago and to
a vacation in Pigeon Point my wallet is full all all expenses paid vacation the
sandals must be built in his imagination and all as well and and that's the level
of and this is a guy who just he feels stress he's exceptionally stressful job
so that's that and then the third aspect we do is we have an actual workshop so
I'll actually take you through various aspects of your life and we'll discuss
well you actually personally brainstorm ways to minimize mitigate or eliminate
this or that stress and from there some people are open to discussing it if
you don't want to it's fine it's totally designed for you for you but it kind of
goes through all the primary areas of life to find out what is bugging you and
then what you can do to actually do it so you leave them you leave the workshop
with two powerful things two techniques that you can use you can actually teach
anyone they're really simple which is great highly effective and you actually
have a written plan for what to do with other parts of your life so it is an
active workshop now I was just John talking to you I don't do those it
doesn't entertain me I want to give you so much value that you tell all your
friends so please tell your friends share this live let me know if you guys
have any questions Margaret Ginsu men and I would love to see you there so
again Saturday 11:00 and 12:30 Santa Cruz green market and I do start

message I also love to hear your thoughts on my putting the mask on your
face first how do you feel about the how do people out those five ways to reduce
stress and the weight and improve the way you feel and kind of make you self
empowered and give yourself more self-love and Candace I don't know how
it's gonna look on the screen but congratulations Candace you're amazing

blessed day I'll see oppa I'll see a lot of you on Saturday

Leah Bracknell gives cancer treatment update and NHS praise: 'I will survive!' - Duration: 6:29.Former Emmerdale actress Leah Bracknell has shared a moving and uplifting post relating to her medical treatment for cancer in which she praises the NHS
The star, best known for her role as Zoe Tate, was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in 2016 after it was initially missed by doctors and at the time, it was believed to be terminal
But from the outset, Leah has vowed to fight and survive the illness and has regularly shared her preference for alternative therapies
She regularly updates an honest blog account called Something Beginning With C with her journey and her most recent post appeared to describe treatment for pleural effusion – where a wide needle or cannula is inserted into the chest cavity to drain fluid from the lungs
She wrote: 'Perhaps if had been born in another time, another country, another town, in another family, with another name and the planets had aligned in the heavens in a different configuration, then maybe none if this would have happened
'Perhaps in the thread of time, one decision made differently, a glance in an alternate direction, a no instead of yes
A hello and not good bye. And perhaps wouldn't now be perching on the side of the bed, and not for the first time this month, head resting on a pile of pillows, with a needle and catheter inserted into my back between my 3rd and 4th ribs draining what will be a litre of fluid from the pleural lining of my lung
' Despite the pain of the situation – which has left her with a 'sea of sickness' – Leah used the post to praise the bedside manner of the doctor treating her
She continued: 'Beside me, Dr H. wraps things up with a manner at once professional, friendly and endlessly reassuring
We have met several times over the last year, despite my best intentions not to, and he maintains an easy dialogue throughout the procedures that both distracts and normalises this most un-normal of circumstances
As bedside manners go, he rates a 10/10. As think it, hear the words fly clean out of my mouth and into his ears
'His accent places him in the region of the Philippines. Like so many of his NHS colleagues have had the good fortune to meet, who come from South East Asia, Thailand, Africa, the West ndies, eastern Europe, Spain, Greece, ndia, China, Hong Kong, am grateful he made the journey to work here, healing the sick of Great Britain
'Clearly we cannot sustain this great and wonderful institution alone. Our global friends are a intrinsic to its health
And for all our sakes the NHS, needs saving, before the disease of neglect and lack of funding and secretive selling off kills it off once and for all
Where would we be, where would be without it? Not here and now, that's for sure
' Later on in the post, she added: '"No offense," say, "but hope we don't meet again for very long time," 'He smiles, as have said this very sentence on several occasions over the last year
What really mean, is thank you thank you thank you. Thank you for making me feel so much better
Thank you for the gift of modern technology, science and medicine that found its way from you to me and means am not drowning in my own water, but alive and kicking
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. He departs taking my gratitude with him, radiating 10 out of 10
' And while Leah battles on, she continues to radiate hope and positivity as she signed off with a vow
'A new song starts up on the radio, Eric sings along, "At first was afraid was petrified, 'HEY! Wait for me Gloria, 'm just putting my skates on, You sing it girl, you sing it loud
And she does , " will survive! Hey Heeeeey!" 'And with that pirouette into the corridor and back into my life
' You can read Leah's full account of her journey on her blog by following this link
