HOW TO MAKE YOUR HOME A HAVEN 🏡 SLOW DESIGN WITH MOJO HOME - Duration: 7:20.

Today's video is all about home design and optimization, with Caroline of Mojo Home.

Phase one: Greenify your home!

Caroline of Mojo Home is slow design interior decorator, and home optimization coach.

We invited her chez nous because I was feeling dissatisfied and cramped in our tiny apartment and our space was certainly blatantly unoptimized.

So, here's what we've got going here...

But you've got nice sunlight!

That's lovely. - Yeah!

So you could put more little potter plants...

Without all this, of course...

We could do a bunch of different plants.

We could fill the entire space with plants, actually.

And you could also put planters at different levels, one higher, one lower, to make it interesting.

Sounds great.

But we have to think about getting plants that work well outside, and can stand the cold.

Mayyybe it's about time to get rid of the dead stuff that we have in our planter.

And we're off to get some new (alive) plants!

(And we're taking the bus.)

Caroline helped me pick out the best plants for each side of our apartment, and all the gear that I would need.

Now we have new and gorgeous flowers in our window planters, and... life is beautiful.

Caroline suggested we hang a plant or two, and it really brought the space alive.

And of course… now the air in our apartment is being better detoxed!

PHASE 2 : Optimizing the home office

Caroline created beautiful drawings to illustrate what our space could be,

with ideas for stylistic shifts and swaps that we could easily make.

First off, we have to check with the measuring tape how much space it's going to take up.

That way we'll see right away if it's going to be too big or too small.

Let's measure!

Ah, it's not working... it's stuck... wait a sec...

So this is another Bedouin style that's in style at the moment... it's soft.

So the fibers are going to be longer then?

Yes, I think so.

Off to do a little shopping to get the pieces we were missing.

PHASE 3: Putting everything together!

Fairy lights sounded like a good idea… they're always a good idea.

Of course, this is a work in progress! Caroline has a lot more ideas that we're working on.

Samsung Galaxy S10 looks set to be bigger than the Note 9 ● Tech News ● #TECH - Duration: 2:18.

SAMSUNG could release an even bigger phone than the Note 9 for those that are willing

to wait until 2019 for the Galaxy S10 Plus.

Samsung has confirmed it will launch the Galaxy Note 9 on August 9 as its phablet sized phone,

but it looks like the Galaxy S10 Plus could have an even bigger screen.

The Samsung Galaxy Note series of phones have, for many years, been the largest screen offerings

from the company.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus was a huge 6.2-inches, blurring the lines between the flagship phone

and Note series.

The Galaxy Note has always had an S Pen stylus which also set it apart from the other Samsung

handsets.

For those that want a large screen smartphone soon, the Galaxy Note 9 with a rumoured 6.3-inch

screen, should suffice this year.

For anyone wanting more they could wait until January 2019 when the S10 Plus is rumoured

to launch with a hefty 6.44-inch display.

While the Galaxy S10 Plus may have Samsung's largest ever display, that may not impact

on pocket space.

Samsung is also rumoured to be working on an S10 which does away with screen bezels

entirely for a pure display front.

This could be achieved with bone conduction glass for the earpiece speaker, a pop-up front

facing camera and sensors hidden beneath the glass.

This should mean that the phone is able to offer a larger screen without the frame of

the handset being much bigger.

As a result the Galaxy S10 Plus could offer a larger screen than the Galaxy Note 9 without

actually growing much in overall size.

Samsung is also rumoured to offer a higher resolution screen on the S10 in the form of

a 4K display.

Samsung may also launch its ultrasonic under-screen fingerprint reading tech in the Galaxy S10

Plus.

The Galaxy S10 is also rumoured to offer Samsung's first triple lens camera, another upgrade

over the expected dual camera on the Galaxy Note 9.

State Fair Sausage Packets - Duration: 1:36.

Whenever we do a segment featuring a recipe that's cooked in a foil pouch, we always get

requests to create more.

And I get it!

After all, they're easy to assemble, fun to eat, and simple to clean up.

That's why we're sharing a new foil packet recipe featuring a state fair favorite: sausage,

peppers, and onions!

And it goes together like this: We begin by tearing four pieces of heavy duty aluminum

foil, so they're about 12-inches square.

Then we cut red and green bell pepper into strips and place 'em in a bowl, along with

some thinly sliced onion, and a few spices.

Now, for the assembly, we place a quarter of the veggies onto the center of each piece

of foil, and top 'em with some Italian sausage that we've cut into chunks.

Spoon some spaghetti sauce over it, and loosely fold up the foil, making a pouch that's ready

to cook in the oven or on the grill.

Once they're done, which only takes about twenty minutes, it's up to you to decide whether

you want to eat these right out of the foil, or dish 'em up on a crusty roll with a bit of

the sauce.

Either way, you'll be in for a treat!

Well, I think that the answer is, first, to get the answers from the people

I think that the first answer comes from going to see the people

that are directly concerned, putting them in decision-making positions and elevating their voices.

That's it - asking for their solutions; how do they

live their reality. That is what I would like to see done

especially regarding mental health.

Talk. Communicate. Whether by speech, gestures, art, music,

anything. Talk. We have to communicate. We have to exteriorize everything that is inside.

By saying nothing, by keeping everything to ourselves, there will be no change. I think

that everyone's words… And when I say words, I'm not necessarily

saying something verbal, it really is the effort that each of us contribute.

Everyone's opinion matters. There isn't one voice that is worth more than another.

Everyone has their own little something to contribute to make change happen.

And I find that it is necessary to push - We have to convince people that it is

important to give their opinions because there are many that find their voices

are not strong enough. I think that, on the contrary, when each person uses their voice to bring everyone together,

our collective voices are precisely what will make each of our voices strong enough

to create change.

Hello everyone and welcome in this new video !

Today I wanted to show an old sketchbook that I worked with 2 years ago

When I told my boyfriend I wanted to

make a video about an old sketchbook he told my that could be a bit risky to show my old stuff

but the thing is I really liked this sketchbook back in the dats

It's a sketchbook that allowed me

to use

various techniques on this paper cause it's really high quality in my opinion

and I made progress

by using this sketchbook in a very regular way

I used to draw on other sketchbooks but they were mainly meant to be full with rough sketches

and I wanted a sketchbook in wich I could create nice composition with watercolor, promarkers and so on

So this sketchbook was very helpful for that

It was nice also to work with ballpoint pen cause I really love this kind of pen

I think it's convenient to ink with it, i love the texture it gives to the drawings

So here we are, me showing you all these drawings and the experience I've been through with illustrations, back in the days

But I didn't mind cause I was experiencing and thought that some of my sketches didn't need to be completely done

It was definitely lots of tests

I also had a very steampunk period as you can see

I found the materials and fabrics and outfits used very interesting

I was a bit unsure about the way I used to draw outfit, it was always very basic, like t shirt and jeans etc

So I really wanted to try something new and play with fashion

and drew weird stuffs like sleeves made with rope (??)

It was at that time that I started experiencing character design

I wasn't completely comfortable with it but really wanted to progress in this field

I also tried different ways of inking

But without real success actually. I tried mostly during Inktober

And also inked with India Ink but it reacted weird with this paper

Or maybe it was the ink's fault I don't know

Anyway

I didn't really make it till the end of inktober I just made tests

And eventually I was at the end of the sketchbook

It probably took me like a couple of months to full it with drawings

In June of 2013,

when I was the Sergeant Major of the Medical Company

at 1 Field Ambulance, in Edmonton,

it was Pride Week and I had realized

that we had never raised the Pride Flag on the base.

Whether you're a homosexual, heterosexual, transgender,

we all want the same thing.

We want families, we want to be loved,

we want to have a job.

We want to be part of the community.

There is no difference.

My partner and I were one of the very first people

to have same-sex benefits in the military.

As a matter of fact, on my tour in Bosnia,

the CANFORGEN came out

that allowed for same-sex benefits.

For this man to follow me for 20 years,

go through 13 postings,

giving up jobs to follow me around.

For me to have the opportunity to raise that flag,

it's not just about pride in the military;

it's about pride in the LBGTQ-plus community

around each base.

We are there for the people, we are there for our country,

and that's important to me.

I submitted a request through my chain-of-command

expecting the answer to be: "We'll have to go to Ottawa,

give us a couple of months and we'll do it next year."

But my remarkably supportive chain-of-command,

in three days I had approval,

and we had the date set

and the base commander was there to raise the flag with us.

It was a powerful moment.

Narcissists once put you on pedestal as the god of his life.

However, the table will turn especially after you feel you owe them from beginning.

However, their gestures and their wordings are designed to make you feel uncomfortable

until you realize you are owing them.

Well, those are some mechanism that narcissists and sociopaths use to mistreat others.
