كل الوطن-سوريا – وكالات : جددت قوات نظام الأسد اليوم الأربعاء، قصفها بعدد من البراميل المتفجرة على مخيم درعا للاجئين الفلسطينيين والأحياء المجاورة له جنوبي سوريا

وأفادت مجموعة العمل من أجل فلسطيني سوريا، في بيانها بأن الطائرات الحربية التابعة للنظام السوري قصفت بالبراميل المتفجرة الأحياء السكنية في مخيم درعا، مما أدى إلى سقوط عدد من الضحايا والجرحى ودمار في ما تبقى من منازل

وأوضحت أنه تم استهداف مخيم درعا بثمانية براميل متفجرة على الأقل فيما تم استهداف حي السد المجاور بأربعة براميل متفجرة وسط تصاعد حدة أعمال القصف الجوي والبري التي تستهدف الأحياء السكنية في جنوب سوريا

وأكدت إلى أن تصاعد القصف الجوي والمدفعي على الأحياء السكنية في مخيم درعا والمناطق المجاورة جاء في ظل تدهور حاد بالأوضاع الطبية والمعيشية التي يعيشها اللاجئون الفلسطينيون في مخيم درعا وبلدة المزيريب، حيث لا تتوفر لهم أي من الخدمات الطبية والتعليمية والإغاثية

ولفت مجموعة العمل إلى أن مخيم درعا شهد موجة نزوح كبيرة في صفوف الأهالي وذلك بعد تصاعد عمليات القصف التي استهدفت المخيم، حيث شنت مدفعية النظام وطائراته غارات مكثفة استخدمت فيها الصواريخ والبراميل المتفجرة

Number of newborns in S. Korea hit record low in April 2018 - Duration: 2:21.

South Korea has been struggling with a chronically-low birthrate for many years now.

And despite government efforts,... so far the situation is not getting any better...

in fact it's getting worse.

With fewer than 28-thousand babies born in the whole of South Korea in April,… another

unwanted record has been set.

Ko Roon-hee reports.

Despite the government's efforts, the number of births in Korea hit another record low.

According to a Statistics Korea report released on Wednesday… the number of births fell

8.9 percent on year to 27-thousand-7-hundred in April.

That's the lowest since monthly records were first compiled in 1981.

The number of newborn babies in the January to April period was also at its lowest level--

less than 120-thousand.

Many South Koreans feel there are two main reasons for this chronic problem.

They believe it's too expensive to raise a child and it takes a long time for a person

to get a job and think about marriage.

"Compared to other countries, private education is very expensive in South Korea.

I think a lot of couples don't have enough money even for the two of them... and many

can't afford to pay extra for their children's education."

"Many South Korean women are stressed when they are applying for universities or jobs.

So after they graduate or get employed, many want to enjoy their own time... instead of

getting married or having a child."

In addition to these problems, a social welfare expert says many pregnant women face discrimination

in South Korea.

"When women get pregnant in South Korea, they are discriminated against both at home and

in the workplace.

At home, they have to raise their child on their own without anyone's help.

At work, some are forced to leave their job.

Women have to overcome this discrimination to raise a child, and many give up in the

first place."

The South Korean government has poured more than 71-billion U.S. dollars into solving

the low birthrate over the past decade... including giving cash rewards to people with

children.

Ahora falta esperar el dictamen de la Oficina Nacional de Contrataciones (ONC) luego de que una de las querellas que representan a familiares de los tripulantes desaparecidos judicializara la adjudicación

Una vez que se expida la ONC, el gobierno de Mauricio Macri decidirá si sigue adelante o no con la contratación

Según trascendidos que circularon en las últimas horas de suspenderse la contratación, el Estado podría comprar directamente el dispositivo de búsqueda submarina (AUV) cuyo costo es casi igual al alquiler pactado con Igeotest sólo por 100 días (3,5 millones de dólares)

Sin embargo según advirtieron lso familiares que se reunieron con Aguad, el ministro se comprometió a seguir adelante con la contratación

"Fue una reunión positiva, en la que quedó claro que es mentira que Igeotest no tiene vehículos submarinos como se requería en el pliego", contó Luis Tagliapietra, abogado querellante en la causa, apenas finalizado el encuentro

"La empresa ya presentó los modelos de AUV que tiene disponibles", insistió el padre del submarinista Alejandro, que formaba parte de la tripulación

South Korea upsets Germany in final group stage match, but both sides eliminated - Duration: 2:30.

Only one place to start this morning and that's Russia.

As far as World Cup upsets come... they don't get much bigger than what we witnessed on

Wednesday.

In a truly remarkable match,...

South Korea beat the reigning World Cup champions Germany two-nil in their final Group F game.

Despite the stunning win, South Korea are out,... but the squad will come home to a

proud nation with their heads held high.

Our man following the World Cup for us,... Lee Seung-jae,... has the details.

The 13th day of the 2018 World Cup was anything but unlucky for South Korea as they produced

one of the biggest World Cup upsets EVER in Kazan.

The Taeguk Warriors, without their captain Ki Sung-yueng ,... played by far their best

game of this year's World Cup,... keeping the Germans at bay for the duration of the

match's 90-plus minutes.

However,... it was in the third minute of stoppage time that world football shook.

South Korea's Kim Young-gwon slotted home a close-range shot that was initially called

off-side,... but upon closer inspection by the video referee,... Kim was deemed onside

and the goal was awarded to South Korea.

The goal sparked desperate scenes from Germany, as they realized they were heading toward

first-round elimination for the first time since 1938, with goalkeeper Manuel Neuer going

on the offense, leaving a gaping hole for Son Heung-min to slot home an easy second

goal in the sixth minute of stoppage time.

Despite the historic win, South Korea will be leaving Russia along with Germany,... but

it's the Germans that finish rock bottom of Group F.

However, the win was bittersweet as the two-nil victory might have been enough for South Korea

to progress had it not been for a surprise three-nil victory by Sweden over Mexico.

The result means Sweden and Mexico are the Group F teams that qualify for the last 16.

South Korea might be out,... but a new star has been born.

Goalkeeper Jo Hyun-woo,... nicknamed Dae-Gea,.. a reference to his club team Daegu FC,.. and

a comparison to star Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea,... made some of the most impressive

saves of the World Cup so far,... including six against Germany.

Jo's heroics between the goalposts have brought him to the attention of several European teams.

Son Heung-min: What Germany vs South Korea means for Spurs star's military service - Duration: 5:44.

Following back-to-back defeats to Sweden and Mexico, South Korea need to beat Germany - who have already lost one of their matches - and hope Sweden lose in the other Group F game which kicks off at the same time

Not just that, but the Taeguk Warriors must boast a better goal difference than both Germany and Sweden in order to make the next round

And for Tottenham winger Son, this clash takes on significantly-added importance

What does Germany vs South Korea mean for Son Heung-min? The Spurs star - who scored his country's only World Cup goal so far with a stunning curler in the defeat to Mexico - faces two years of compulsory military service

All South Korean men, as instructed by law, must enlist for two years in the armed forces before the age of 28

Son turns 26 on July 8 and would be required to complete 21 months of service. The only hope of avoiding being drafted into the forces is success at a major international tournament with the national team

For example, South Korea's 2002 World Cup squad were granted exemption from conscription when the joint-hosts reached the semi-finals

And in order for Son to achieve similar - he must win a gold medal at the Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia between August 18 and September 2

He would still have to complete four weeks of basic training, but he would avoid the huge interruption to his footballing career

Men's football at the Asian Games sees an under-23s squad with three over-age players included, with Son's star quality expected to see him picked

The Games, however, does take part during Spurs' campaign. Leverkusen refused to sanction Son's involvement in 2014 and were not reprimanded by FIFA because the world governing body do not acknowledge the tournament

Korea won gold and military freedom. But given the ramifications if Spurs did not give him permission to play later this year - it is likely the north London club will be forced to do so if, as expected, they are knocked out of the World Cup

Earlier this year, under-23s coach Kim Hak-beom told reporters: "I'm going to pick him unless there's a special situation

"Son is the kind of a player who needs to be taken care of. We need to see whether he can actually join our team or not, but I believe there's not going to be a big problem

"The selection issue is not only important for the player, but also for the club

" Son previously had the chance to ensure his exemption at the 2016 Olympics in Rio but South Korea fell short to Honduras in the quarter-finals to miss out on a medal

What has Son Heung-min said about military service? Not much, given the sensitivity and legal complexities of his situation

Son was pictured in tears after being left on the brink of a World Cup exit by Mexico, letting his emotions out in front of president Moon Jae-in

But he dismissed any idea that his sadness was over his potential military service

Son insisted: "As a Korean person, just being at the World Cup is a great honour

"It is a very special stage. I was representing the Korean people and I didn't want to lose

"It was very unfortunate and I felt sorry for everyone; the players, the fans and the technical staff

That is why I cried." What would military service mean for Son's career? Son's conscription, if South Korea also fail to win the Asian Games, would cut out the best part of two years of his career at the peak of his powers

He was excellent for Mauricio Pochettino's men last term, providing 18 goals and 11 assists in 53 appearances as Spurs finished third and reached the FA Cup semi-finals

Conscription would NOT end his career altogether though. Instead, it would likely see him join up with the K-League's army team - Sangju Sangmu

The situation means the Lilywhites have yet to hand Son a new contract despite their desire to reward his progress given the risk of a potential 21-month absence from the club

Talks over a fresh deal could be postponed until after the Asian Games when his future will become clear, with the player still currently under contract at the club until June 2020

Son would still have several years left to play at top-flight level after his spell in the forces
