Hi, my name is Jeremy Gardner.
I'm a pediatrician.
I chose healthcare because growing up I always really enjoyed sciences and doing stuff in
the science field.
It was a way that I could combine that with something that was to other people's benefit
and to help other people.
Going through my medical school training, I was really drawn to the practice of pediatrics,
specifically.
Working with the kids on a regular basis, as well as, with the families was just something
that I really enjoyed doing.
With pediatrics, I think for me, the most rewarding thing is caring for the families,
caring for the kids, and watching the children grow and change over time.
Getting to interact with them and play with them, frankly, on a lot of days is really
the best part of the job.
I think the best way to do that is by being there for the families in good and bad situations.
To be able to engage the kids at all different age groups, make the kids feel like individuals
like they are part of the visit, as well as, being able to engage the parents and make
sure all of their questions and their things are answered as well.
I think that you'd expect to get very up-to-date care.
I like to stay up-to-date on topics and make sure I'm practicing the best evidence-based
medicine for my families and for my patients.
I also like to think that I'm pretty on top of things in terms of scheduling, making sure
that we run on time as best we can, and trying to be engaging and make the visit experience
enjoyable for the kids as well as the families.
I have a lot of things that I enjoy doing.
I enjoy spending time with my family.
We have a lot of activities that we do together.
We like to go skating and sledding in the wintertime, doing a lot of bike riding and
things in the spring.
I like to relax at home, read books.
I enjoy watching sports.
So, yeah, a bunch of different interests.

Music City Star Jessica Mack Is Engaged! All About Her Love Story – and Her Ring! - Duration: 3:22.
It's a reality romance! Jessica Mack, singer and star of the CMT reality series Music City, is engaged to her boyfriend of seven months, Andreas Plackis
The couple met through a small group at their church in Nashville. "Everything just fit," Mack tells PEOPLE exclusively of her relationship with Plackis
"He had a strong faith, we enjoyed each other's company and I was super attracted to him
It was easy with him." Plackis proposed via an "extravagant" plan — but he had to improvise a bit on the spot
"We went on a scavenger hunt to find clues that would lead me to a missing page in a book we have been writing back and forth in to each other since the beginning of the year," Mack explains
"The clues pieced together formed a picture of Centennial Park. He took me out to this big tree and I started searching for the paper
After a good five minutes I gave up and asked for his help." RELATED: The Most Jaw-Dropping Celebrity Engagement Rings Finally, she says, "He turned me away from the tree and gave me the paper
He said count to three and do what the paper says. I count, I read and it says, 'Turn around
' When I turn around I see Dre pull out a ring box out of his pocket." Plackis got down on one knee to pop the question, to which Mack (affectionately known as J-Mack on the show), of course answered yes "after I quit freaking out
" After the proposal at Centennial Park, "we went on to have a very fun day that he had set up for us which included a romantic dinner and surprise engagement party
" The ring Plackis proposed with — a 1.07 round-cut solitaire diamond on a rose-gold band — holds a special meaning as it's a family heirloom
Mack's single life was documented on the first season of Music City, which was created by Adam DiVello (a
k.a. the man behind The Hills and Laguna Beach). She briefly dated personal trainer (and fellow aspiring singer) Jackson Boyd on the series before splitting after he started romancing Miss Tennessee contestant Savana Hodge
The couple plans to get married August 25 in Mack's home state of Arkansas. Tags Engagement Rings Engagements Music City Music News News Style News TV

Leave No Trace breakout Thomasin McKenzie is on her way to J.Law status - Duration: 9:25.
The next Jennifer Lawrence could very well be in our sights. At least, that's what critics coming out of Sundance have been saying for months
Director Debra Granik helped launch the Oscar winner's career with 2010's Winter's Bone, so her new teen lead of Leave No Trace, Thomasin McKenzie, can understand why some are anticipating another star-making performance
"I think it's cool people have been comparing me to [Lawrence], but also I've got my own acting style," McKenzie says
"But I'd love to be like her. I love her. She's cool." Audiences can get a sense through EW's exclusive clip, above, from Leave No Trace why movie taste-makers are fawning over this 17-year-old Kiwi actress
Her subtle, powerful performance as Tom, a young girl living off the grid with her father (Ben Foster), led to roles in WWII satire Jojo Rabbit from Taika Waititi (the Marvel director who made Thor cool again) and Netflix's Shakespeare-based The King alongside Timothée Chalamet and Robert Pattinson
So now a girl, once set on steering clear of acting, is jet-setting to New York for press tours and to the U
K. and Czech Republic for movie-making. "It is so much fun!" she remarks of all the traveling
"I had never been to Europe before… Now I want to see more and more." Her grandmother Dame Catherine Harcourt, mother Miranda Harcourt, and father Stuart McKenzie formed their own film family dynasty in New Zealand through acting and directing
McKenzie, already wise beyond her years, took to the craft while filming a movie called Consent: The Louise Nicholas Story
Though only 14 at the time, she was acting out a true tale involving "rape and abuse of power in the police force," and she realized the industry could be more than just "fame and fortune
" Scott Green/Bleecker Street "For me, [acting is] about telling stories and sharing things that need to be heard," she says
"And also, you can educate people through acting and telling those kinds of stories, which I love, and it made me realize I had an opportunity to make a difference in the world
" McKenzie's career got a jolt from The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, yet you probably didn't even know it
Her bit role involved a scene where Evangeline Lilly's Tauriel brought her character Astrid back to life, but Peter Jackson ultimately cut the moment — having filmed way too much footage for a two-and-a-half-hour movie
"There is still a part of it where I'm in it, but you'd only know if you [already] knew," she says
With Leave No Trace, McKenzie gets a lot more to work with. When casting her lead roles, Granik looks for an actor who can offer his or her own "personal insights," someone who shows a "willingness" to put in the work and to "research" the character
For Granik, a film is "not a ready-made thing." The actors, she notes, "are going to be informing it so hugely that I need to see some sign there that that's exciting for them
" It's in that sense that McKenzie shares a similarity to Lawrence; both actors possess these qualities
Having auditioned for most of her roles over Skype, McKenzie's first in-person meetings with Granik and Foster roughly coincided with her first day of wilderness training, which entailed making fires "without using matchsticks or lighters," collecting water, listening to bird calls, and the like
She hadn't conferenced with Foster prior to rehearsals either, which brought another level of pressure
"He looked a lot different than I thought he would because he seems to transform in every role he takes on," McKenzie recalls
"I can't remember exactly [my first impressions] because I was really nervous, but he was a really nice guy
" Scott Green/Bleecker Street Foster was already thinking about fatherhood from expecting his firstborn with Orange Is the New Black's Laura Prepon, and McKenzie was dealing with the "grief" that comes from being away from her own family while on set in Oregon
So the pair naturally bonded on and off camera. McKenzie also mentions using a "Hug to Connect" technique with Foster that her mom handed down, "where we just hugged for two minutes right before the first scene to get in the rhythm of each others' breath and to feel each other's warmth
" This was followed by a traditional Māori greeting exercise — Māori being the indigenous people of New Zealand — "where you touch noses and foreheads and you close your eyes
" She and Foster needed to be fearless touching hands and hugging, since Leave No Trace — an intimate, character-driven piece — is fueled by this father-daughter relationship
The "film fanatics" out of Sundance (i.e. critics and casting agents) quickly took notice of their performances, McKenzie acknowledges
Hence her newfound bankability. She calls it "surreal and crazy and very exciting," but she's interested to see what the general public thinks of her work
All this hype has been happening in a vacuum, as Leave No Trace doesn't open for the masses until June 29
McKenzie doesn't have too much time to sit and think on this, though. A day after our conversation in New York, she hit the road again to film more projects, including Jojo Rabbit
Waititi already showed the world his spoof of Adolf Hitler in the film, about an awkward German boy (Roman Griffin), his single mother (Scarlett Johansson), and his imaginary friend Hitler (Waititi)
But McKenzie's role as the girl who upends the boy's world views remains elusive
McKenzie, a fan of Waititi's Boy and Hunt for the Wilderpeople, remembers how the eccentric filmmaker was "pointing out artworks in our house to his friends in the Fox studio" during the second round of auditions over a video conference
She says, "What I adore about his films is their unique but inclusive humor, which often conveys quite dark themes like betrayal and loss
" Not even Lawrence can flaunt that on her résumé (yet).

Johnny m'a regardé intensément, m'a demandé quel âge avait Damien.

Meet Sandra Schaffer, APNP, Internal Medicine | Ascension Wisconsin - Duration: 3:28.
Hi, my name is Sandy Schaffer.
I'm a nurse practitioner, and I work in internal medicine.
I've wanted to be a nurse since I was a little girl, and I used to even pray about it as
a little girl.
Then, as I got older, I thought, "I think I want to be a doctor," but then, I realized
I probably couldn't afford to go to school to do that.
Then, as my daughter said to me when she was a little girl, she said, "You know, Mom, you're
a nurse doctor now."
My license is family practice, but I've worked with adults for 25 years.
I was in cardiology for 16 years prior to coming here, and I really enjoyed adult medicine.
The family practice degree allows me to do one of my other loves in life, which is mission
work, where I do see children.
But I love working with the adult population, and now that I'm at the age that a lot of
women are, I can relate to a lot of the things they're going through because I've been there,
I'm experiencing some of the joys of menopause, and all those other wonderful things right
along with them.
I just love taking care of people.
It's just been something that's been a part of me ever since I was young.
I was raised in a very loving family, and I believe in giving back.
I have a very strong faith, and with that, it's our job to serve and to try to help others.
I think listening to what the patient has to say is very important.
A long time ago, someone taught me if you just give somebody a couple of minutes to
say what's on their heart and what's really bothering them, that will open them up to
listen and to really work with you.
I have learned so much from people over the years, just by listening to their stories.
I have a lot of experience with health care.
I've been doing it for a long time, but I think the most important part about coming
to see me is that I'm real, and I like the patients that I see to be real with me also.
It helps me to know how to take care of them and to make the best decisions for them.
I also think that healthcare gets pretty serious sometimes, and it's good to have a sense of
humor.
I tend to have a sense of humor, and I use it in my practice because healthcare can be
very serious at times.
Well, I have a family.
I've got a son and a daughter, and they are the loves of my life.
I've been married for 32 years, and we love to travel together, been all over the world.
One of the things that I love to do just for relaxation is anything to do with the water.
I love to kayak, I love to wilderness camp up in the Boundary Waters.
Get me near water, and I'm a happy person.

Meet Sandra Zernzach Schertz, APNP, Family Medicine | Ascension Wisconsin - Duration: 2:53.
Hi, I'm Sandy Zernzach, and I am a family nurse practitioner in family medicine.
My whole family is in healthcare, so it was just kind of a natural thing to go into healthcare.
My dad's a doctor, my mom's a nurse, so it was just kind of a natural progression to
get into healthcare.
It was one of those things where I like treating the whole family.
I didn't want to just see one group of people.
I like the variety of patients that I see during the day, from babies on to 99-year-olds-plus.
It's just a fun bunch to see the variety of people that I see during the day.
So that's kind of why I picked the family medicine route that I did.
The most rewarding is the smiles on the faces of the patients that you see.
Just when they come in and they're better, you figure out what's going on with, you connect
with them.
I think that listening to your patients is a huge portion of trust.
I definitely treat my patients as they were a part of my family.
I want to listen to them.
I want them to be able to trust me.
I want them to feel that they can communicate.
I want them to be open and honest with me.
The good, the bad, the ugly, I want them to be able to share their stuff.
That makes the relationship that much better.
I think what separates me from other nurse practitioners is I'm honest, I'm open.
I think I have a really good sense of humor.
I think that I've just been there that long that I've established a good rapport with
my patients that it's just fun.
All around, I just like what I do.
Well, I have four kids.
So in that spare time, there's always baseball, there's always soccer, there's always some
sporting event that's going on.
So definitely, the kids keep me going.

'Glass Skin' Korean Skincare Routine | Kore Cilt Bakımı ve Makyaj Rutini - Duration: 14:05.
Hello everyone
Today I am gonna talk about (and will show) my Korean Skincare Routine and their trend Glass Skin
Okay, what is Glass Skin? How I got in to all these?
Why I choose Korean Skincare?
And why you should be choosing that too
We are gonna talk about it in all details
You guys know that I am very interested in K-Pop K-Dramas
We all know how perfefect and beautiful Kpop Idols and K-drama artists skins
In general we know that most of the Korean ladies and even men has flawless perfect skin
Plus they all look very young
One the reaosons is actually how good they take care of their skin
Because of all these I love this routine alot
And I can't wait to share with you guys that!
I wanted to film this video for a long time now becuase I want everyone to learn all this and start carry into action^^
Some of you may not know about what Glass Skin is
Actually Glass Skin is glassy marble kinda skin which both look flawless
And how do we achieve that?
By using alot of moustrizing products that will make our skin look clean, glowy , brightning, moist and healty
Like your favourite Kpop Idols or Kdrama artists has that type of skin
Let me talk about my skin type
I have dry skin
And around my chin area is more sensitive and can easily breakout
And hard to recover skin blemish
Overalll its dry
But ever since I've started Korean Skincare my skin is at best condition that it can ever be
I've been following this about 1 year now
For a long time I've been using their products and
I understood how good it is and why people prefer this
I will tell you why I've choosed specifically the Korean products and then I'll show the demo of what I do and use
One the reason why I choose Korean products is becuase
The ingredients are so well created
Almost every ingrident is benefitial
Rather than using fillers they actually use benefitial ingredients that will really work on to your skin
Also comparing to other popular skincare products Korean Skincare products are really inexpe
In avarage its about under 25$
I mean of course its still a lot of money but
When it comes to Dior or Lancome kinda brands you can even spend 65$ or more
And do they really works thats uncertain
But in Korean products there are very less products that won't really work for you
Because of the ingredients, they are very healthy and nice
Now let me talk (and show) about my specific routine
What I use
And What do I do to have glassy moist Glass Skin
First of all if you want to have a nice skin then you should be cleaning your skin really well
No matter how many moustrizing products you use if you don't have well cleansed skin
You may have blemishes and stuff
Becuase of that cleansing is so so important
What I use for cleansing?
Btw I will write everything I mention in the describtion
If I have makeup on firstly I use
Heimish All Clean Balm
It melts the makeup, the texture is like balm-cream
Its very smiliar to coconut oil (exact same maybe:D)
It melts all the makeup and then you rinse it with water
And your skin looks beautiful
After that balm I use foam cleanser
The one that I use from Cosrx-very popular Korean brand
I use Cosrx Good Morning Gel Cleanser
Its such an amazing product and the price is really affordable
Its really good quality and affordable
If I have alot of makeup with these 2 products all of my makeup is taken off
After that If I do this routine at night
Then I use peeling or exfoliation (2-3 times a week) for sure
I prefer chemical exfoliation
For my skin they are much better
Chemical asidic ones are liqiudy other scrub peelings are particley firm
Srcubs tend to make pimples on my face
Becuase of that I prefer acidic liquid ones
I use that with cotton pad
It clears my pores and blackheads
Exfoliation is must do
Because if you don't clean your face from dead skin cells
Your skin won't look flawless and in glass skin your skin should look flawless
poreless and really moist
Because of that I recommend you to do exfoliation 2 to 3 times a week
Maybe it's one of the most important to achieve that glass skin look
Make sure you do it at nights
Beucase sun light can damage your skin and can make your skin very sensitive
So use it at night
After that
I use moustrizing toner, I have dry skin but all skin types should use it
I use that moustrizing product
I got this product from Miniso and its my favourite toner
Intensive Hydyration Toner
This toner give you alot of moist
And I love it so much, generally I use 3 times with my hands
If you want you can even do 5 or 7 times
You know Koreans has that 7 Skin Method that makes your skin look amazing
As our body need water our skin need that too and toner helps with it
And skin awakes immidiately
You can do it morrning and night or both!
I only recommend exfoliation to do at nights
Now another step essences
Essences uses before serums
It boost up the benefits of the products that you are gonna be using after that
And it calms the skin so well
After that serums!
I recommend C vitamins when it comes to serums
Especially the one that I use from Klairs and its just so perfect
So good for beginners too
Because its not too strong
I recommend it
Its whitening and brightning the skin
gives moisture
clears from blemishes
Many benefits!
Koreans prefers C Vitamins alot
Its so good for the skin because for Koreans white and bright skin is so important
Even if you don't use essence I recommend you to use serums
But I want to warn you about one thing which is do no use C Vitamin serums with your exfoliations
Beucase both of them are very effective and strong products that can harm your skin or make it sensitive
So I do not recommend you to use at the same time
Other step: Sheet masks
You know for Koreans sheet masks are very important and must have
These are giving a lot of moustire to your skin
I was watching a programe called 'Its Dangerous Outside of Blanket'
There was Exo Xiumin <3
And he has 4-5 of sheet masks
Its so sweet
They all use it anyway
We should use them too
But how often?
Of course not everyday
Even if you use 1 or 2 times a week especially after shower to give your skin perfect moisture, it'd be perfect
After that we use mouisterizer but we use very small amount because we're gonna put sunscreen top of it
Sunscreen is very important in skincare because it's anti-aging
It protects from the sun
Because of that its so important
For you to not have skin blemishes
wrinkles
for everything its important
If you go out to sun having blemishes on those dark sports will get much darker
But if you use sunscreen
Its antiaging also prevents from sun rays
So its perfect you should be using that
Eye creams are very important
Your skin can look good but if your eyes look tired with eyebags and all that then your skin won't look completed and
Because of that eye care is so important too
You should moustrize your eye area
for you to not have wrinkels and dryness
For now its the end of the skincare part
At this point we had Glass Skin
And completed Korean Skincare
But if you want you can continue to makeup part of this routine
Okay what do we do for the makeup part?
It's very short anyways
I use MAC's Strobe Cream
It's a illuminating brightning kinda primer cream
On top of it you can use CC Cream Cushioins or BB Creams whatever you have
If you prefer the one that gives you brightening look then itd be perfect
If you want you can use concealer for your under eye
If you have oily parts on your face you can use little bit of translucent powder on needed areas
After that you can use creamy highlighter to add more glow to your face
And on top of cream highlighter you can use powder highlighter
so you can lock your highlighter well and you can look even more illuminated and bright
And there you achieve that wonderful Glass Skin Look!^^
Okay my friends that was it
Thank you so much for watching <3

50 Cent Mocks Terry Crews With 'I Got Raped' Instagram Post After Actor's Sexual Assault Testimony - Duration: 3:33.
Terry Crews delivered an impassioned speech detailing his experience with sexual assault before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday and was later mocked for it by Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson
Crews first shared his story of being inappropriately groped by talent agent Adam Venit shortly after Hollywood's fallen director Harvey Weinstein's longstanding history of sexual assault, abuse and rape were revealed in two separate New York Times and New Yorker magazine exposés in October
Since then, Crews has been one of the loudest male voices supporting women's movements against sexual assault, and on Tuesday he extended his platform to advocate for The Sexual Assault Bill of Rights, a proposed bill that would cover victim's expenses for rape kits as well as keep them knowledgeable on new forensic evidence and so forth
In his testimony to the Senate, the actor said he "never felt more emasculated" following the experience
"The assault lasted only minutes, but what he was effectively telling me while he held my genitals in his hand, was that he held the power
He was in control," Crews said.Recommended Slideshows61In Pictures: The 30 Highest-Paid Actors in the World5050 Must Watch Documentaries On Netflix To Stream Right Now8150 Surprising Facts About Queen Elizabeth II The 49-year-old said he was told "over and over that this was not abuse, that this was just a joke, that this was just horseplay," and noted how others glazing over his accusation was yet another example of "how toxic masculinity permeates culture
" Hours after Crews' address appeared on C-Span, Jackson took to Instagram and posted a meme of a shirtless Crews with the message "I got raped… My wife just watched
" Jackson captioned the photo: "LOL, What the f**k is going on out here man? Terry: I froze in fear, they would have had to take me to jail
" The photo, which has since been deleted, sparked immediate outrage online. Hundreds of people on Twitter accused the 42-year-old rapper of embodying the very definition of toxic masculinity the Deadpool 2 star spoke of during his Senate testimony
During Crews' hearing, California Senator Dianne Feinstein asked the former football player why he didn't use his strength to fight back when he was assaulted
"Senator, as a black man in America, you only have a few shots at success. You only have a few chances to make yourself a viable member of the community," he said
He added: "I'm from Flint, Michigan. I have seen many young black men who were provoked into violence, and they're in prison, or they were killed
And they're not here."
