I'm Gabriella and today we're looking at what's wrong in a sentence.

I'm going to say a sentence and you are going to find the grammar mistake in the sentence.

So let's begin.

One of my friends speak three languages.

Let's try it again more slowly.

One of my friends speak three languages.

Could you find the mistake this time?

Now I'm going to show you the sentence.

The sentence is "One of my friends speak three languages."

Can you find the mistake?

The mistake is "speak."

In this sentence, "speak" should be "speaks."

And "speaks," the verb, agrees with the third person singular pronoun in English.

That means he, she, one or it.

So this is "One speaks" in this sentence.

Remember to add -s.

briefly

in the same motel.

According to the sex offender

registry, Level 3 offenders are"

at a

high risk to re-offend"

The proposed law could impact

Greene and and other level 3 sex

offenders who want to live in

motels

long term..

East Providence Representative

Katherine Kazarian is concerned

about other motel guests not

knowing that sex offenders are

living

near them.

She's also talked with

homeowners

and renters who live near

motels.

She's co-sponsoring a bill that

would give innkeepers the power

to

"remove" a level 3 sex offender

who

tries to remain a resident for

more

than 30 consecutive days."

residence who wanted to be a

temporary thing

As reported by Target 12, a

motel in

Kazarian's district had a level

two

sex offenders living there. He

has

since relocated.

A level three sex offender lived

there until he was arrested and

sent

back to the A C I as probation

violator in August.

Kazarian tells us the residents

who

live near that East Providence

motel

came to her, hoping she could

find

away to make sure other sex

offenders do not make the motel

their long-term home. .
