Ben-Hur (2016) - Judah Is Badly Hurt - Duration: 1:56.Mother?
Judah's hurt! Someone help!
Mama!
Nanny. Nanny, help. Take him. Take him.
Careful, careful. What happened? Judah?
Judah!
He's lost a lot of blood. Is he all right?
What happened? There was a rock.
Mother?
Quick, fetch a doctor for your brother.
Tirzah! Run!
Esther! Yes, Father?
Prepare the room for Master Judah.
Get water. Hurry, Esther.
Careful, careful.
Get some water.
Up.
He's badly hurt. What have you done?
I haven't done anything. It was an accident.
Judah was thrown from his horse.
We were riding and... Racing!
Mum...
What should I do?
You've done enough.
Now pray.
My son, will he live?
Minerva... He will recover.
The doctor reassured us... Mother Goddess, restore him by skin.
But, Mother, he looks like he's in so much pain.
Thank your Messala for that.

GCN Flanders Challenge - Wahoo Elemnt Bolt First Look - Duration: 8:14.- The Wahoo Elemnt Bolt is new to the market,
so we thought we'd devise a challenge
to see what they, and us to be fair, could do.
- That's right.
And seeing as we have found ourselves
on the amazing cycling roads of Flanders, in Belgium,
we thought we would try and tackle
as many bergs and cobbles as we possible could,
in the shortest stretch of time,
starting right here
on Tour of Flanders street.
You ready?
- I think so.
- Go! - Let's go.
(upbeat techno music)
- [Simon] Okay, let's backtrack a bit, shall we?
The Elemnt Bolt is a GPS bike computer that works
in tandem with your smart phone,
meaning that set up and data transfer
both from the unit or from your phone,
are really straightforward.
We've plotted a route using the website Ride With GPS.
- [Matt] Hold on a minute, Si.
You say we.
You mean Lloydy did.
- [Simon] Yeah.
Yeah, Lloydy plotted a route because he knows the area
like the back of his hand,
and he laid down the challenge.
- [Matt] Yeah, so now we've got to tackle
13 of Flanders' toughest climbs in less than two hours.
So you can see why we're trying to get
a little bit of a move on.
Now Dan has shared his ride with us
and then because our Ride With GPS accounts are synced
with our Wahoo Element apps,
the ride automatically uploads
and then we just have to send it to the device
and follow turn-by-turn instructions.
- Yeah now up first, today, climb-wise
is the Knokteberg,
a relatively steady start, 1.3 Ks in length,
6% average gradient.
- Steady start?
- Kind of steady.
(upbeat techno music)
- Now coming up next,
we have the classic Flanders climb,
the Oude Kwaremont.
It has to be said, mate,
I've got a bit of a confession to make.
- Hm?
- So, I'm partial to the odd bit of Strava.
I've actually starred the segment coming up
and that'll mean that all the details
have automatically downloaded to the Element Bolt,
so it's telling me that we're about to start it
in 182 meters,
and when we're on it,
it's going to tell us exactly how we're doing
in relation to the KOM.
So I thought,
with all that in mind,
we might as well just have a pop at it.
- You mean tackle the Oude Kwaremont KOM
and try and beat Niki Terpstra
and Greg Van Avermaet's time?
- Yeah, exactly!
- Go on then.
- Yeah! Come on then!
43 meters to go.
(dramatic techno music)
- Come on, Si.
- I'd forgotten how hard these are.
(dramatic techno music)
- How did you do, Si?
- Let's not talk about it, mate.
- Oh, well, okay then,
let's think of that as a bit of a warm up.
- Yeah, I've done it for the Koppenberg as well,
that's coming up.
- I like that one.
- All right, let's do it. - Okay.
(upbeat techno music)
- Yeah, they come thick and fast,
these bergs, don't they?
- Yeah, short, not very sweet.
- [Simon] Kind of sweet.
- [Matt] Sweet when you watch them on telly.
Although, there's a real strange sense of satisfaction
as you tick each one off.
(techno music)
- Hey, that's it mate, puncture.
Matt, puncture.
- Stefan, have you seen Si?
- No. - I'll just check where he is,
on the map.
(unit beeps)
Oh, he's halfway down the Haaghoek.
I'll send him a text.
(pump clacking)
(Bolt notification tweets)
- Matt Stephens.
Where are you?
You numpty!
Uh, knew I should have turned off notifications.
(upbeat music)
- Right then, Si.
That was the start line
for the final climb of the day,
the Berendries.
I'll bet you've got this one starred as well.
- I have actually, mate.
Do you want to give me a lead out?
- No. - Right, 'spose I owe you one.
Do you want me to lead you out?
- Go on, mate.
- Fair enough.
Last climb of the day.
Let's give it everything.
(upbeat music)
- [Matt] So, there you go.
Well, I've lost count of the amount of climbs
Hellingen we've gone up today,
but there's no doubt about it,
that was the most action packed 60 kilometers
you could ever hope for.
- That's absolutely right.
That was brilliant, wasn't it?
- Yep. - Absolutely brilliant.
Anyway, having pressed stop on our Element Bolt,
the stats will automatically have uploaded
to our phones, and then onto any other app
that you authorize your Element to share it with,
so like Map My Ride or Strava, for example.
Which reminds me, Matt.
Did you get the get the Berendries KOM?
You mean, did I beat the time of Greg Van Avermaet?
- Yeah, did you beat Greg?
- Well, not on this occasion, no.
- Ugh... - Well, let's take a look
at another important function,
considering I'm completely and utterly knackered.
The Take Me Anywhere function. - Yes.
- Type in, beers.
- Take Me Anywhere, okay.
- Is there a bar nearby?
- There is.
Funnily enough, there is a bar nearby, actually?
- Should we head off then?
- Well, anyway.
I don't want to go back down the Berendries.
I'll find another one.
- Let's go that way.
- Do you know what's weird, Matt?
Is that we went for a two-hour ride,
and we started pretty much at dawn,
and it's now getting dark.
- It's got a little bit nippy
and the sun is pretty much set.
That's really odd.
- That is weird.
Anyway, if you haven't already subscribed to GCN,
do make sure that you do.
It's completely free, just click on the globe.
- And do you know what I've heard about GCN?
- What's that?
- It's your one-stop-shop for all things cycling.
- That's a very good point.
Now, if you are after a little bit more information
about this here Wahoo Element Bolt,
then I have unboxed it and you will get to know
everything that it does.
So if you want that, click just down there.
- And for some more mouthwatering Flanders content,
how about clicking just down here?
Cheers, Si. - Cheers, mate.
- Good day. - Epic day.

Colours - Duration: 7:27.Okay, in a sentence, describe to me what a colour is.
"Well, a colour is the property possessed by an object of producing different sensations
on the eye as a resul-"
-nobody understands that definition.
"A colour... is a colour.
I don't know how to describe colours, it's like love, you can't describe love, it's abstract,
it's in the inside, it's it's like, uuuuh."
But colours aren't abstract.
You can see colours, you can touch colours, you can paint colours.
"W-what's your point smartass?
What are you trying to convey?"
The point I'm trying to make...
is that colours...
are weird.
"Oh okay that's that's your poi- that's your point.
For a second I thought you were going to say something intelligent, (inhale) my mistake
honestly."
Listen listen listen...
fuck off.
(oh shit)
But I am trying to make a point here, you can only understand what a colour is when
you see one.
Try describing what colours are to a person who's been blind since birth.
(Tommy Edison - link in the description to his channel)
You can't describe colour to a blind person like you can a chair.
"It's a wooden thing you sit on."
(applause)
You can only draw parallels between colours and the attributes of other things they already
know about, like the smell thing that Tommy just said, and even that doesn't really work
does it?
You can't even describe a single colour, like the colour red for example, to someone who
CAN SEE, in absolute terms.
You can describe it only in relative terms, you can only give examples.
"Red!
Like blood.. and rubies... and lipstick... and the faces of angry cartoons."
We call this red because we were taught that this is red.
If I was taught that this is purple, I would totally believe it.
The names of colours are mere labels, they don't have any particular reason to be called
what they're called.
Which leads me to my crazy amazy little bit hazy conspiracy theory (well, it's not really
a conspiracy theory but just stick with me please).
What if we all perceive colours differently?
What if my red is your blue, what if your yellow is my green.
There isn't anything tying colours and their names together other than what we see, so
what if we all see different colours, but we just call those different colours the same
name because we think that this thing we're seeing is the same as what other people are
also seeing.
Every other thing that you see, you can also touch and confirm what it's actually physically
like.
But you can't touch a colour and determine which one it actually is.
I know it's a bit difficult to wrap your head around, but just please bear with me, I need
you to think about this.
Colour is what our brain perceives of the light coming into our eyes.
And it's not necessary that your brain will process the information in the same way that
my brain does.
So what if, when you see the sky, you see this, and I see this.
You say "the sky is blue", and I say "yes, good observation Einstein, the sky IS blue."
Because that's your blue, and this is my blue.
WE HAVE DIFFERENT BLUES!
We have different representations of what the word blue means.
Since you can't see through my eyes and I can't see through yours, there's NO way of
finding out the differences in what we see.
I mean there might be a complicated sciencey-weincey-smarty way but let's stay in the zone that is understandable
to us.
If you feel like I'm really reaching for it with the blue thing, what if we see the same
colours, but different intensities of the colour, because of the difference in the number
of colour receptors we have in our brain.
And if you still feel that I'm being really unrealistic, then what if you and I see COMPLETELY
DIFFERENT COLOURS.
Like you have this colour scale and I have a completely different colour scale which
has colours that don't even EXIST IN YOUR VIEW OF THE WORLD LEARN TO IMAGINATION IDIOT.
And for your "satisfaction", I'm not the only one who thinks that this could be possible.
Many scientists believe that this could be the case.
Just google this and you'll find articles upon articles asking the same question.
So this is not really a conspiracy theory, but it gets people's attention so I'm gonna
call it a conspiracy theory.
So moving away from shitty conspiracy theories, let's talk about something more concrete and
based in reality.
It is a fact that we humans can only see a limited range of colours out of the huge range
that exists.
A lot of other animals can see more colours than we can.
That is a fact and the truth.
Unless you don't believe in science, then yes, the world is a flat disk supported by
four elephants standing on top of a flying turtle.
Humans have three types of colour receptors in their brain, birds have four, so they can
see UV light, and they can also see different shades of the same colour that we can't distinguish
between.
The Mantis Shrimp has 16 different types of colour receptors!
So in a rainbow where you see 7 colours, the Mantis Shrimp sees.. uhh.. more colours than
you!
If you feel a little left out by this, you feel a little more useless than usual, then
don't you worry you little piece of worthlessness!
In the future, it might be possible for humans to be GIVEN a fourth type of colour receptor,
like birds!
If there actually is a possibility for that to happen, then maybe in the more futurer
future, we could just be injected with the 16 receptor cells of the Mantis Shrimp, and
you can suddenly also see the 16 colors of a rainbow that the Mantis Shrimp sees.
That would be one hell of a drug though.
Inject yourself with Mantis colours, then smoke some weed, then YOU WILL TRIP SOME MAJOR
BALLS.
THE THINGS YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SEE OHMYBIGBANGBECAUSEGODDOESN'TEXIST.
Also british english and american english have different spellings for the word colour.
Eh, stop being morons and decide on one spelling is that too hard for you you fucking spastic
idiots.
Anyway, here's a slideshow of colours with weird names.
(Also bye)

AniMyHeart Episode 1: Locked out - Duration: 9:01.Hey, how's it going, guys? Today I'm going to show you how to draw one of my characters
I can't tell you what role he plays in the comic. Though the russian bros who watched the stream know it
So there are some methods I use when I draw the characters and you can use them too to draw the character in exactly the same way
It wouldn't be right to say that if I'm drawing like that it's my own, authour's, vision so no one could ever draw exactly like that, no
Everyone can draw exactly in this way I assure you
So I'm going to tell you about the basic principles of drawing in this way
I can't say I know a lot about that, it just comes naturally
But I'll try and find out what the very features of this way of drawing can be
I'll explain how I usually draw this character
In fact I use this aesthetics in some other techniques too
For example I'm creating a film at the university and it's claymation
and my followers know about it
You've seen some WIPs, the clay models and more
While working in this technique I'm trying to depart from the principles of traditional animation
And, you know, it still turns out something similar. There are a lot of nuances
as you can see, even the authour can't tell you what helps to create the aesthetics
In this tutorial I'll speak only of my traditional way of drawing of the characters you can see more often
Okay, let's inpack this a bit
The first feature is really big eyes. My characters often have really big eyes
They can be smaller compared with the eyes of some other characters, but they are always big by the proportion of the head (if we compare to the human face)
If you want to draw exactly in the same way, you should know the second feature, and it's the volume
I mean, they are clearly structured
It's Disney method, there's really nothing complicated about that
To draw the more complicated poses you just have to study the perspective
It's all built on the foundation of this method, I explained the basics in my tutorials
The third tip is the posing. Well, you can take the pose from any cartoon and draw your character in this pose, it really doen't depend on the technique you're working in
In fact, If the character isn't abstract and he or she has a body, a head and limbs, it's just one standard
We can see that the gestures and action are very exaggerated so we can see it on the silhouette
It's not an innovation, this method is spread widely in animation
Now I'm going to tell you how to draw exactly this character 'cause this tutorial is dedicated to the Locked character
Speaking of his personality, he's not as emotional as some other characters of the story are
I'll use Quadrate as an example. He, yes, he has such eyes and such strong emotions. But I'll tell you how to draw Quadrate in the other tutorial as you voted for the Unlocked character to be drawn first
Unfortunately, I can't say his name
Look, the eyelashes is the fourth feature and they are very important. He has a steady gaze...
He is not looking at the other characters and at the camera directly if we compare him to Quadrate
Loner, introverted...
It doesn't mean he has no heart though, no. In facts he has a lot of feelings hidden inside. He just doesn't show them
You can see something inside his eyeballs, the line or I dunno... I really have no idea what it is but I just love to draw it
My script editor said it's the iris but unfortunately I can't say exactly. If you'd like your drawing to be visually like that you just have to draw it xD
So this was the fifth feature and here's the sixth one: all my characters have a real chevelure
Male characters are not the exception too. I usually draw long hair for the male characters
In fact I'm not a fan of long-haired men in real life. It just fits the characters and it's the part of the aesthetics. It helps to enhance the action when I animate the characters as well
Let's now see how the Unlocked character behaves in extremely emotional situations. For example, if Quadrate is sitting near the girl he's in love with he is very-very shy and all the rainbow of the emotions strike him at the same time and we can see it clearly
What about the Unlocked character? No, he wouldn't sit with the straight back
The better way to show his feelings is to draw him watching in another direction like he's not interested in what's going on though we can see his right hand betraying him
I feel a little strange telling you about this character 'cause you haven't seen him in the comic yet and I just can't tell you more facts 'cause "no spoilers"
I hope nobody saw me telling this secret to one of the russian bros. This person knows I'm talking about him so please, keep it a secret, ok?)
What can I say about the body of this character? I can say, it's just very typical for my way of drawing. It's the standard of MvLeksa's male character
It looks like all the male characters who are not very developed or practically all random male characters of mine are drawn with a body like that
This is the seventh feature, what is the eighth one? It's about you should feel the emotions of the character, to see the world like he used to see it, you should be him for a moment. You shouldn't just draw, you should play his feelings, as it was well put by Stanislavsky
This character isn't phlegmatic like Droopy, he really has strong feelings deep inside. I know a lot of such people. The wonderful script editor who helped me with my projects is a good example
I'm sure you've met such people. Maybe you have the character who has such a personality
Come on, just try. I want you to experience these sensations
Everyone has felt so, after all... All of you have had a feeling you don't need to show your feelings to the world. I know it.
Please, pay attention to the fact the face of the character is not as symmetrical as it may seem at first glance and it's the ninth feature
A very symmetric character, as a rule, is not as expressive as a non-symmetric one is. And this secret is widely used by animators of all kind
In fact I can just draw the half of the face, copy and paste then and voila! But it's not what we need
One of my teachers, who is an old master and a well-known animation artist in our country, has told me something I find a very curious thing. And imagine what he's said...
We don't have similar eyes. Our eyes are not just "copy-and-paste", the hair looks chaotic, it can't nestle on the shoulders symmetrically
It's alright when we're talking about the hair but you might not thought about the eyes in this way
Our eyes really look not like copies and that's what makes us alive. So don't you want your characters to act like they're alive too?
I'm trying to say you shouldn't just copy the lines and the visual part, just try to express the same feelings. It all comes from content, not the form. And the content is a very exciting thing
And now a tutorial for Dummies ._. Draw the head. Horns
The body, the arm-sticks
Eeemmm... :/
...a skirt... >_<
Leg one
Leg two
Just draw an arrow and it'll be fine
I guess, there's only one important thing left
The emotions!1! xD lol
Okay, Unlocked, now it's actually not fair how beautiful you look
Only a man chosen by the gods hit it on the first try
The special effects are so realistic I can't believe my eyes!
Mmmnmmm, it's fascinating, isn't it?
Every artist should have hatching knowledge
...and the anatomy knowledge!
That's completely adorable!
Let's see... Ahh.....
What a pity that one can't marry his/her own drawing!т_т"
Well, I'm sure you've made a masterpiece! You can frame it :D Ok, the tutorial is coming to an end...
Now you know more about how to draw the way I usually draw and the character's features so you can draw him yourself pretty well now)
So I look forward to watching your masterpieces AND I'm going to conduct another survey to know what character will be the next one to be drawn. Your pictures done with the help of this tutorial will be shown in the next video of the series. I can also answer your questions in the next video so you can ask anything!)
Thanks for watching!)
Yours, MvLeksa

Welcome to Israel!
It was really easy, Schengen Agreement, nice thing. You just cross the border and they welcome you kindly....
Do we need a taxi? Yeah sure!
Turn around [the car] first, honey.
Do we want to make this our new meeting place?
Did you bring beer?
There was a nice train station down the road which you could have used.
You can be glad about the fact that we pick you up.
With a map!
Do you both get along well?
Or are you tired of each other?
Happy Birthday!
What about alcohol? Is it possible to pray during drinking?
During drinking [alcohol] I'm often all alone so this would go together quite well.
So, it sucks...
It's getting even worse. No alcohol nor drugs.
It's all over!
Leave me behind.
Are they fast! Are you recording?
Yes. – Very good.
They look like they have eight arms.
Because of an "influenza something" the following hours and days are only sketchy documented. #sry
But there are alot of pictures :)
Dead See
It was [hitting the water] three times for sure!
What's going on here? Traffic jam in the desert? I'm going nuts!
Italian dish today!
Italian in Israel.
Did you snap enough panoramas?
I need more panoramas; much more!
I'm dreaming of 360° at night.
If the Mossad gets to see this...
That's it!
On the right. Stop the car. Eggert [Olivers nickname]!
There was a huge space. There could would fit two cars into it.
A whole truck would have fit.
Are you retarted? What's wrong with you?
You didn't pay attention again?
