Sometimes, to become successful and get closer to the person we can become, we don�t need

to add more things?�?we need to give up on some of them.

There are certain things that are universal, which will make you successful if you give

up on them, even though each one of us could have a different definition of success.

You can give up on some of them today, while it might take a bit longer to give up on others.

Give Up On The Unhealthy Lifestyle

If you want to achieve anything in life, everything starts here.

First you have to take care of your health, and there are only two things you need to

keep in mind:

Successful people set long-term goals, and they know these aims are merely the result

of short-term habits that they need to do every day.

These healthy habits shouldn�t be something you do; they should be something you embody.

for their life, no matter their starting point, weaknesses, and past failures.

Realising that you are responsible for what happens next in your life is both frightening

and exciting.

And when you do, that becomes the only way you can become successful, because excuses

limit and prevent us from growing personally and professionally.

Own your life; no one else will.

Give Up The Fixed Mindset

�The future belongs to those who learn more skills and combine them in creative ways.�

or talents are simply fixed traits, and that talent alone leads to success?�?without

hard work.

They�re wrong.

Successful people know this.

They invest an immense amount of time on a daily basis to develop a growth mindset, acquire

new knowledge, learn new skills and change their perception so that it can benefit their

lives.

Remember, who you are today, it�s not who you have to be tomorrow.

Nothing will ever be perfect, no matter how much we try.

Fear of failure (or even fear of success) often prevents us from taking an action and

putting our creation out there in the world.

But a lot of opportunities will be lost if we wait for the things to be right.

So �ship,� and then improve (that 1%).

Give Up Multi-tasking

That�s why they choose one thing and then beat it into submission.

No matter what it is?�?a business idea, a conversation, or a workout.

Being fully present and committed to one task, is indispensable.

Give Up Your Need to Control Everything

philosopher Differentiating these two is important.

Detach from the things you cannot control, and focus on the ones you can, and know that

sometimes, the only thing you will be able to control is your attitude towards something.

Remember, nobody can be frustrated while saying �Bubbles� in an angry voice.

Give Up On Saying YES To Things That Don�t Support Your Goals

Successful people know that in order to accomplish their goals, they will have to say NO to certain

tasks, activities, and demands from their friends, family, and colleagues.

In the short-term, you might sacrifice a bit of instant gratification, but when your goals

come to fruition, it will all be worth it.

People we spend the most time with, add up to who we become.

There are people who are less accomplished in their personal and professional life, and

there are people who are more accomplished than us.

If you spend time with those who are behind you, your average will go down, and with it,

your success.

But if you spend time with people who are more accomplished than you, no matter how

challenging that might be, you will become more successful.

Take a look at around you, and see if you need to make any changes.

Give Up Your Need To Be Liked

There will be a lot of people who like that niche, and there will be individuals who don�t.

And no matter what you do, you won�t be able to make the entire market like you.

This is entirely natural, and there�s no need to justify yourself.

The only thing you can do is to remain authentic, improve and provide value every day, and know

that the growing number of �haters� means that you are doing important things.

Give Up Your Dependency on Social Media & Television

Impulsive web browsing and television watching are diseases of today�s society.

These two should never be an escape from your life or your goals.

Unless your goals depend on either, you should minimise (or even eliminate) your dependency

on them, and direct

that time towards things that can enrich your life.

4 Stages Of Real Spiritual Awakening And How To Move Through Them More Easily

I�ve seen and read a lot about the stages of spiritual awakening over the years and

to be honest, I�ve been left disappointed. For the most part I couldn�t understand

how everyone else�s awakening was all rainbows and butterflies, while I became a hot, emotional,

crazy, mess. I figured I must be doing something wrong. Why did it seem that everyone else

could walk this path in linen robes, bare feet and a ton of stable grace and I was somehow

failing. Even after so much time, I was still chronically ungrounded, anxious, emotionally

triggered and finding daily physical life an unmanageable burden.

Thankfully, that was then and this is now. I have an entirely different perspective now

that I�ve come through so much of the journey. I can look back and see the patterns. I can

stop waiting for enlightenment or connection from someone else�s perspective and know

that my experience is real (and so is yours) � whether it fits into a preconceived box

or not. So, that being said, I�d like to bust some of the enlightenment myths and instead,

give you what I�ve found to be a more accurate account of the 4 key stages of spiritual awakening.

STAGE 1 � AWAKEN

This is the stage that starts it all. And no, it wasn�t an accident. Your soul planned

exactly what it was doing before coming down here � its happening for a reason. Large

quotients of energy begin to flood your system. The psychic centers are opened (usually quite

abruptly) and suddenly your feeling, sensing, seeing or hearing things that you weren�t

aware of before. Your psychic senses are so much more acute � you may even begin having

powerful spiritual experiences or sensations and you�ll feel more sensitive than usual

too. Due to the heightening of these psychic senses you�ll likely feel the need to retreat

� to pull back from people, places, and things. You�ll want to hibernate. That is

entirely natural. Its ok.

STAGE 2 � HEALING

Now your system is seriously online (and it needs to be for this next part). Energy is

thrust (quite powerfully) up through the chakra system. The purpose is to dislodge the old

�dirt� from lifetimes ago which block that energy flowing smoothly straight through

your system (giving you a purer connection to source). There are old emotions, heart

breaks and trauma from past life times that our soul needs to heal. This is why our psychic

senses had to be so heightened � so that we could tap into the information from our

past lives and become aware of it.

During this phase you�ll feel really emotional. Your emotions will change wildly and erratically.

You may feel you have no control over when or where or how strongly they come up. It

can be really hard. And if you try to hide, the universe will stick people in your way

to trigger the emotions that need healed. So the lady at the gas station will give you

a look that triggers an inexplicable sense of fear in you. Or you�ll just happen to

meet a new love interest with the same name as the one who broke your heart before. Things

will get really synchronistic, and probably quite confusing but this stage will pass.

And the good news is, that once these issues are done, they are really and truly forever

DONE. They�ll be healed and cleared so well on the soul level that you�ll likely never

feel them in the same way ever again.

STAGE 3 � LIFE PURPOSE

Phew! By the time you get to here, you�ll be feeling inspired, creative, full of ideas

and equipped with an inbuilt sense of duty to help or serve in some way. You might just

feel like Superman � and so you should! However, there are likely still some little

niggles that show up as you move into a new project � the likes of which is probably

entirely new territory. Sometimes at this stage you get a little second wave of the

previous. The universe is testing that all of these issues (who weren�t who you truly

are) are gone for good. You might find some old patterns, issues or pains surge again.

And when they do you�ll likely feel exasperated, and irritated at yourself, and question if

you�ve made any progress at all. But they�ve been inflated and intensified for a reason

� so that you�ll clear out every last nook and cranny of that low self esteem, or

loneliness, or anxiety. You�ll finally be free of it!

This time can be a little nerve wracking, as you step into a cause or a new career or

the thing that fulfills you most. Its nerve wracking simply because its new. And while

your soul has let go of fears that you can�t do it, or worries that it wont work out, it

also has never had an experience without them looming over you. It can feel odd to try something

and do well, or to find your space in the world. Allow yourself to realize that everything

is OK. You are safe and guided as you try new things and find ways of living that truly

express who you really are.

STAGE 4 � DIVINITY

Now is the stage when most folks will tell you that you have reached guru status. I�m

not going to tell you that, because personally, I think it�s ungrounded. Divinity is about

being so clear of old pain, and negative beliefs and assumptions about life, that you are truly

pure in your energy. You are true to who you are. You are in your divinity because, much

like a beautiful diamond is encrusted in muck and coal, you have removed and cleared everything

that is NOT who you are. All that�s left is a polished diamond.

You were always divine � no matter where you are in these stages, you are still divine

� its just easier to see that beauty and authenticity without all the �muck� on

top (and it makes your psychic abilities so much more accurate too!). Your interactions

with others are clear and genuine. You reach a new level of freedom because you are no

longer bound by the beliefs that once held you back. You might end up like a guru. You

might walk bare foot across beaches of sand, blessing others with a gentle pat on the head;

or you could just be a normal person, aligned with their life purpose, enjoying the sunshine

at a family barbecue � fully present, stable and grounded in the moment � like me tonight.

Ok, so now that you know the 4 main stages, you�re probably itching to move forward

and know the next step. I tried A LOT of different techniques to help me move through awakening

more smoothly (I�m a bit like a geeky spiritual scientist, testing and evaluating so many

different techniques). I did healing for 9 hours a day (whoops). I did meditation for

2 hours at a time (double whoops). I even went on week long courses to open up my psychic

senses further (wait what?! Now that�s just silly). Yep, I�ve made pretty much every

mistake you can make on the journey of awakening � and made it 10 times harder for myself

too.

It wasn�t until I learned effective grounding that everything came into alignment. I know

what you�re thinking. Boring old grounding. Well, not exactly, because I found that traditional

grounding methods often don�t work for us. We have so much energetic power being blasted

through us that we need effective grounding techniques that work, and work FAST. I�ve

Grounding was the one thing I did that finally brought order and stability to my awakening.

It stopped the whole process from being so crazy and uncontrollable. It calmed my emotions.

It made normal life �normal� again. And once all that was done, the purpose that I

had been desperately searching for for years just struck my mind like a little golden power

bolt � fully downloaded with the �how to� manual. Now that�s enlightenment!

I realized afterwards that the reason I hadn�t found (or been told) my life purpose yet was

because I wasn�t actually ready to receive it. I had been chronically ungrounded for

almost 4 years, mostly completely unaware that that was the problem. Once I showed the

Universe that I was stable, secure, balanced and steady, it just illuminated my mind and

changed the direction of my whole life in an instant. It was incredible.

i tried out 2 lip colour for this look

first im going to spray some fix+ all over my face

I'm using the primer from laura mercier

please ignore my gross nails, i had no time to fix haha

for foundation, i'm using double wear cushion stick

just apply it as usual and blend with the damped sponge

i bought this sponge at 3coins and it was only 150yen

next, using my makeup forever's concealer palette

i will cover my dark circles by mixing these 2 shades

for my redness, i'm using these two

use the lightest shade to prime my eyelid

of course i use laura mercier's powder to set my face

i put too much obviously,

i think that was because of the music i was listening to.

oh well just put them back in..

it's so hot today so this step is a must.

comb through my brows

for brows, in using fashion brow from maybelline

to fill in the outer part

for inner part, i'm using hoola bronzer by benefit

browgel is a must for me right now

for eyes, i'm picking this bright highlight shade

and just lightly apply this to my lid

i'm using lancôme here but anything is fine

next take this beautiful yellow eyeshadow from 3coins

and apply this to the center of my lid

i prefer applying with my finger rather than brushes

apply dark brown to my bottom lash line

and just on the outer half of my upper lash line

just lightly

curl your lashes

apply mascara

and that's it for the eyes!

i'm just gonna lightly bronze up my face

using hoola bronzer and i'm using Daiso's brush for this

blend out my brows to make it look more natural

this is my fav peach shade blush from shu uemura

its almost gone but yeh, i need a new one

next is my favourite part!! highlight!

i'm using chanel' s eyeshadow

some people might say this is too much

but i just love it and i can't stop haha

don't forget the inner corner highlight as well

so my lips were so drying

and it was like dead skin everywhere

so i used lip scrub from jill stuart before applying lipstick

this smells amazing and it's like strawberry,

it tastes good and i love it haha

just wipe off the exes with some tissue

okay lip option 1!

this is bright orange shade from shu uemura

put this on the center and blend with my finger

this is an ombre lipstick from maybelline

it has 3 shades in one

yellow shade goes to the outer part of my lips

okay done! i think it was so simple and easy

i like both lip colours and i think its perfect for summer

i will spray a bit more of FIX+ and im good to go!

Speaking of Science - DNA from ancient Egyptian mummies reveals their ancestry

(Sandra Steiss/SMB, BPK/Aegyptisches Museum und Papyrussammlung). Ancient Egyptians were an archaeologists dream. They left behind intricate coffins, massive pyramids and gorgeous hieroglyphs, the pictorial writing code cracked in 1799.

Egyptians recorded tales of royalty and gods. They jotted down lifes miscellanies, too, as humdrum as beer recipes and doctors notes.

But there was one persistent hole in ancient Egyptian identity: their chromosomes. Cool, dry permafrost can preserve prehistoric DNA like a natural freezer, but Egypt is a gene incinerator.

Within the mummies tombs, where scientists would hope to find genetic samples, humidity wrecked their DNA. Whats more, soda ash and other chemicals used by Egyptian embalmers damaged genetic material.

A study led by researchers at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History and the University of Tubingen in Germany managed to plug some of those genetic gaps.

Researchers wrung genetic material from 151 Egyptian mummies,  radiocarbon dated between Egypts New Kingdom (the oldest at 1388 B.C.) to the Roman Period (the youngest at 426 A.D.), as reported Tuesday in the journal Nature Communications.

Johannes Krause, a University of Tubingen paleogeneticist and an author of the study, said the major finding was that "for 1,300 years, we see complete genetic continuity.

" Despite repeated conquests of Egypt, by Alexander the Great, Greeks, Romans, Arabs and Assyrians — the list goes on — ancient Egyptians showed little genetic change.  "The other big surprise," Krause said, "was we didnt find much sub-Saharan African ancestry.

The remains came from Abusir el-Meleq, an ancient Nile community in the middle of Egypt. From the mummies the scientists extracted bone, teeth and soft tissue samples.

(Although Egyptian embalmers removed the brains of the deceased, the scientists wrote that "in most cases, non-macerated mummy heads still have much of their soft tissue preserved.").

The hard samples yielded the most DNA, perhaps because the teeth and bones were protected by soft tissue or because the embalming processes left tougher material intact.

 After preparing the samples in a sterilized room in Germany, the researchers bathed the samples in UV radiation for an hour to minimize contamination.

Ancient Egyptians were closely related to people who lived along the eastern Mediterranean, the analysis showed. They also shared genetic material with residents of the Turkish peninsula at the time and Europe.

Given Egypts location at the intersection of Africa, Europe and Asia, and the influx of foreign rulers, Krause said he was surprised at how stable the genetics seemed to be over this period.

The scientists were particularly interested in the change in ruling class at the turn of the first millennium. First came the Hellenistic dynasty, in the aftermath of Alexander the Great's conquests, from 332 B.C.

to 30 B.C., and then Roman rule from 30 B.C. to about 400 A.D. And yet the genetics of the Abusir el-Meleq community appeared to be unperturbed by shifting politics.

The scientists compared these ancient genetics with those of 100 modern Egyptians and 125 modern Ethiopians that had been previously analyzed. If you ask Egyptians, theyll say that they have become more European recently, Krause said.

"We see exactly the opposite," he said. It was not until relatively recently in Egypts long history that sub-Saharan genetic influences became more pronounced.  "In the last 1,500 years, Egypt became more African, if you want," Krause said.

In their paper, the researchers acknowledged that "all our genetic data were obtained from a single site in Middle Egypt and may not be representative for all of ancient Egypt.

" In the south of Egypt, the authors wrote, sub-Saharan influences may have been stronger.

This study left two gaps in the Egyptian timeline that Krause wants to fill, he said. It is not clear when the African gene flow, present in modern Egyptians, occurred.

Nor could the study determine the origin of the Egyptians. "The other big question is, Where did the ancient Egyptians come from? " Krause said. To answer that, scientists will have to find genomes "back further in time, in prehistory.".

Hello guys, its me CriticalCubing and today we are going to take a closer look at the

Qiyi M Bag.

This is a competition bag that makes carrying your cubes easier in a small, premium looking

bag that you can take anywhere.

It is feature filled and has this glossy looking material which I probably think is nylon.

The bag is black colored with white drawings on the outside which features the different

WCA events.

It also has a strap that you can use for carrying it around.

On the inside, there are different compartments for different purposes.

Starting from the top, we have space alloted for keeping your lubricant, earphones or wires.

On the same side, we have a mesh compartment for keeping misc stuff like extra sd card

so you have a backup if your sd card runs out.

You can also keep your id cards for the comp and etc things like that.

You can keep also keep in this compartment.

Coming onto the other side, here is where the main event starts.

There are 2 compartments here, one with mesh on top of it and there is a pocket in between

for keeping your timer.

It was made specifically with G4 timer in mind, but it can fit other timers also.

In the mesh compartment, you can keep big cubes so they stay nice and snug while you

can keep other smaller cubes in the other compartments.

This bag can hold 2x2 to 7x7 with 1 of each quantity, however this is not that huge of

a bag, so if you have multiple cubes for a certain event, main and backup main, you wouldn't

be able to fit all of them in this small bag.

The bag can fit 5 to 6 3x3's comfortably on each of the 2 compartments to give you a rough

idea of how much space you can accomodate.

Overall, the Qiyi M Bag is a neat, simple and fashionable bag that was specifically

designed with cubers in mind, and Qiyi did a great job with it.

This bag can practically hold everything that you'll need for a competition while making

it look trendy and cool.

I will recommend this to everyone who want a dedicated bag for holding their main puzzles.

This bag makes it easier to store your puzzles and also carry it around.

The Tour de France is the most famous cycling event in the world,

but it's not the season's only one.

Besides stage races like Paris-Nice, the Critérium du Dauphiné or the Tour de France,

there are Classics, like the Queen of Classics of course, the Hell of the North, the one-and-only Paris-Roubaix.

There are also modes like the Pro Cyclist mode, where you play as a young rider

trying to climb the depth-chart season after season by fulfilling the objectives given by your manager

as you try to become one of the world's best riders.

This year, we wanted to improve our progression system,

so we created an objectives system that adapts to your role in the team.

Fulfilling your objective will not only allow you to advance within your team,

but also allow you to reach Leader status and, maybe, sign with a more prestigious team!

In multiplayer, you'll be able to play against managers from around the world, in friendly or ranked matches.

You can also form clans to bring your community together,

and create private competitions, interacting with your community,

and attempt to take your clan to the top of the rankings.

The manager's role is absolutely crucial.

He's the one leading his team.

Of course, it's easier to do when you have an one-of-a-kind athletic talent in your team,

but when you look at the big picture, the manager, his role, is essential

DIY Potato Sack Skirt in 10min +Papaya Fabric Painting 🇨🇻 Cabo Verde Inspired 🇨🇻 Culture Couture - Duration: 7:29.

Hi loves

This month I'm going to celebrate the Summer with travel inspired clothes.

I call it Culture Couture because this allows me to express my culture in style.

My mission with these videos is to show that even though we look different, speak different

languages and have other traditions at the same time we are 'sew' united through

the language of fashion & sewing

Today's video is inspired by Cape Verde and my grandma Maninha.

My grandma Maninha used to sell and sew clothes in Cape Verde,

my mum made clothes for me and my sister

and I'm so grateful that I inherited this ancestral gift and that I'm able to share it with you

Food plays such an important part in my culture because just like sewing it's an expression of love.

I designed and painted a papaya print on the fabric because Papaya is a fruit that we eat a lot in Cape Verde

And for the shape of the skirt I used a potato sack silhouette because potatoes, mainly sweet potatoes is also something that we love and enjoy in our food

For the music I used a song from the Capeverdean DJ Respect called

Call of our ancestors which is so perfect for this video.

I answered the call of my ancestors with sewing

For this tutorial you'll need - Less than 1 yard or meter of cotton fabric

- paint brush pens - 3 colors of acrylic paint

- a paint palette

Start with the pink first and draw the shape of the papaya

Then paint the seeds like dots using the blue color

Outline it with the pink again then fill in the surface

Then paint the skin of the papaya blue

I painted the second papaya in an abstract way with a couple of lines first

then we will fill it in with the 3rd color

This was my first time using these paint brush pens and it was so nice working with them.

It's easier to hold it in my hand plus the cover of the pen makes it easy to lay it down

without staining my working surface

When you finish let it dry for a couple of hours and then your custom made fabric is

ready to use

The potato sack silhouette is super easy.

All you gotta do is gather the fabric and then place an elastic so it stays put

Make sure the elastic fits your waist and then cut it.

this way it will fit above as well

Before sewing the tube where I'll put my elastic I pressed it first.

Then again.

Add a piece of fabric on top so you don't press over the paint

This way I can sew straight easily

The fabric is with the wrong side up

Fold the top and then sew it

Add a safety pin on top of your elastic and then pull it through the tube you just sewed

Hold the end of your elastic so it doesn't go through when pulling it

Join the end and beginning and tie a knot

Fold your fabric double and then pin the sides and sew it from the bottom all the way up

Sew this and you're done

And this is the final look!

crazy, mess. I figured I must be doing something wrong. Why did it seem that everyone else

could walk this path in linen robes, bare feet and a ton of stable grace and I was somehow

failing. Even after so much time, I was still chronically ungrounded, anxious, emotionally

triggered and finding daily physical life an unmanageable burden.

Thankfully, that was then and this is now. I have an entirely different perspective now

that I�ve come through so much of the journey. I can look back and see the patterns. I can

stop waiting for enlightenment or connection from someone else�s perspective and know

that my experience is real (and so is yours) � whether it fits into a preconceived box

or not. So, that being said, I�d like to bust some of the enlightenment myths and instead,

give you what I�ve found to be a more accurate account of the 4 key stages of spiritual awakening.

STAGE 1 � AWAKEN

This is the stage that starts it all. And no, it wasn�t an accident. Your soul planned

exactly what it was doing before coming down here � its happening for a reason. Large

quotients of energy begin to flood your system. The psychic centers are opened (usually quite

abruptly) and suddenly your feeling, sensing, seeing or hearing things that you weren�t

aware of before. Your psychic senses are so much more acute � you may even begin having

powerful spiritual experiences or sensations and you�ll feel more sensitive than usual

too. Due to the heightening of these psychic senses you�ll likely feel the need to retreat

� to pull back from people, places, and things. You�ll want to hibernate. That is

entirely natural. Its ok.

STAGE 2 � HEALING

Now your system is seriously online (and it needs to be for this next part). Energy is

thrust (quite powerfully) up through the chakra system. The purpose is to dislodge the old

�dirt� from lifetimes ago which block that energy flowing smoothly straight through

your system (giving you a purer connection to source). There are old emotions, heart

breaks and trauma from past life times that our soul needs to heal. This is why our psychic

senses had to be so heightened � so that we could tap into the information from our

past lives and become aware of it.

During this phase you�ll feel really emotional. Your emotions will change wildly and erratically.

You may feel you have no control over when or where or how strongly they come up. It

can be really hard. And if you try to hide, the universe will stick people in your way

to trigger the emotions that need healed. So the lady at the gas station will give you

a look that triggers an inexplicable sense of fear in you. Or you�ll just happen to

meet a new love interest with the same name as the one who broke your heart before. Things

will get really synchronistic, and probably quite confusing but this stage will pass.

And the good news is, that once these issues are done, they are really and truly forever

DONE. They�ll be healed and cleared so well on the soul level that you�ll likely never

feel them in the same way ever again.

STAGE 3 � LIFE PURPOSE

Phew! By the time you get to here, you�ll be feeling inspired, creative, full of ideas

and equipped with an inbuilt sense of duty to help or serve in some way. You might just

feel like Superman � and so you should! However, there are likely still some little

niggles that show up as you move into a new project � the likes of which is probably

entirely new territory. Sometimes at this stage you get a little second wave of the

previous. The universe is testing that all of these issues (who weren�t who you truly

are) are gone for good. You might find some old patterns, issues or pains surge again.

And when they do you�ll likely feel exasperated, and irritated at yourself, and question if

you�ve made any progress at all. But they�ve been inflated and intensified for a reason

� so that you�ll clear out every last nook and cranny of that low self esteem, or

loneliness, or anxiety. You�ll finally be free of it!

This time can be a little nerve wracking, as you step into a cause or a new career or

the thing that fulfills you most. Its nerve wracking simply because its new. And while

your soul has let go of fears that you can�t do it, or worries that it wont work out, it

also has never had an experience without them looming over you. It can feel odd to try something

and do well, or to find your space in the world. Allow yourself to realize that everything

is OK. You are safe and guided as you try new things and find ways of living that truly

express who you really are.

STAGE 4 � DIVINITY

Now is the stage when most folks will tell you that you have reached guru status. I�m

not going to tell you that, because personally, I think it�s ungrounded. Divinity is about

being so clear of old pain, and negative beliefs and assumptions about life, that you are truly

pure in your energy. You are true to who you are. You are in your divinity because, much

like a beautiful diamond is encrusted in muck and coal, you have removed and cleared everything

that is NOT who you are. All that�s left is a polished diamond.

You were always divine � no matter where you are in these stages, you are still divine

� its just easier to see that beauty and authenticity without all the �muck� on

top (and it makes your psychic abilities so much more accurate too!). Your interactions

with others are clear and genuine. You reach a new level of freedom because you are no

longer bound by the beliefs that once held you back. You might end up like a guru. You

might walk bare foot across beaches of sand, blessing others with a gentle pat on the head;

or you could just be a normal person, aligned with their life purpose, enjoying the sunshine

at a family barbecue � fully present, stable and grounded in the moment � like me tonight.

Ok, so now that you know the 4 main stages, you�re probably itching to move forward

and know the next step. I tried A LOT of different techniques to help me move through awakening

more smoothly (I�m a bit like a geeky spiritual scientist, testing and evaluating so many

different techniques). I did healing for 9 hours a day (whoops). I did meditation for

2 hours at a time (double whoops). I even went on week long courses to open up my psychic

senses further (wait what?! Now that�s just silly). Yep, I�ve made pretty much every

mistake you can make on the journey of awakening � and made it 10 times harder for myself

too.

It wasn�t until I learned effective grounding that everything came into alignment. I know

what you�re thinking. Boring old grounding. Well, not exactly, because I found that traditional

grounding methods often don�t work for us. We have so much energetic power being blasted

through us that we need effective grounding techniques that work, and work FAST. I�ve

Grounding was the one thing I did that finally brought order and stability to my awakening.

It stopped the whole process from being so crazy and uncontrollable. It calmed my emotions.

It made normal life �normal� again. And once all that was done, the purpose that I

had been desperately searching for for years just struck my mind like a little golden power

bolt � fully downloaded with the �how to� manual. Now that�s enlightenment!

I realized afterwards that the reason I hadn�t found (or been told) my life purpose yet was

because I wasn�t actually ready to receive it. I had been chronically ungrounded for

almost 4 years, mostly completely unaware that that was the problem. Once I showed the

Universe that I was stable, secure, balanced and steady, it just illuminated my mind and

changed the direction of my whole life in an instant. It was incredible.
