[V]: If you miss schooltimes, if your summer vacation is already on,
[V]: Your schoolbus is right here. There you go.
[V]: Have you ever ridden one of these to school?
[B]: Yeah.
[Vik's new video! (First link under the video)]
[V]: Let's check out some girls.
[V]: Nice!
[V]: This project is called simply 'The '07'
[V]: Some may say this is a knock-off of Revazov's one.
[V]: It' on Vossen, through spacer bars.
Hi, everyone! Loud Sound office here. Today, it's one super-usual review.
This one is exactly what our channel first started off with
I'm speaking about hardware testing. And today, we're testing one of the smallest and the most powerful amps hand-made in the town of Oryol.
by Mr. Andrey Lozhkov, a.k.a. Biohaz. And the brand is Bass Warrior.
You all know him from our video, 'World's Most Powerful Amp'.
Well, yes, we have to mention that it's 12V now. Sure, there are more powerful ones for 220 and 380 V.
And today, in our review, we have that 12V most powerful amp in the world, as well.
This is Artyom, btw.
[A]: Hi.
It's here as a decor element but we'll spare a word or two about it. No testing, tho. We don't have that much resistance in Rostov yet.
I don't know where to shoot it. Arty tried it in Panda. Took out 15 KW.
[A]: Easily.
Yeah. But the claim is a lot higher. The thing's got its brains. But we'll be back to it later.
And today, we're reviewing this baby.
The first thing to note is that it's small, smaller than my palm.
And per claim, it gives out 300 W per channel (at 4 Ohm) with two channels loaded.
Now we'll chrck what's the real out with this claim.
Then we'll hook it up at 2 Ohm. And we'll do some clipping.
I don't really believe in this type of cooling. Said it to Andrey, and he said, in case of overheat, the amp should be placed on some sort of legs.
The bottom of the amp here is the radiator. He said, under high stress, in testing, it might heat up,
But on a daily basis, when it's bringing in the claimed power, no problems should appear.
We'll also check it with a pyrometer. What's the temp at the moment?
[A]: 32-33°C (89-91°F)
33°C (91.4°F) at the moment. We'll see how it works during the testing.
And also, this water tub will participate in today's test.
The resistance outlets are in it. We can hook it up at 4 Ohm and 2 Ohm
but you don't want to hear that. You want figures.
Arty's showing me the oscillograph. We're measuring pure signal, without interferences.
[A]: And the car voltage.
Yes. The voltage is lower now than that of a car, starting off with 13.9 V.
A clamp meter here, a voltmeter, we're recording the results IRL, no peak-holds.
With peak-holds, the signal might get dirty. Well, we'll see the toppest top figure.
We're more interested in clear constant power.
The peaks will be registered by the meters, and we will check out the clear signal.
Once Arty reaches it, we will see it on the oscillograph.
And we'll see what voltage and amperage it can give out with clear signal. And the Loud Sound app will help us.
If you were wondering, the app is called Loud Sound, you can find it in the AppStore.
And there's a tone generator. You can release any frequency. That's what we use, actually.
We're using it now for creating a 50 Hz tone. you can generate any. And there's also the power calculator.
You type in Volts and Ampers, and you see the power right away. And the resistance here, on the top.
We're gonna be using this app today. It's free. You can download it from the AppStore.
There are also other functions. It's just people often ask 'bout it.
For some reasons, we leave it out of our reviews.
So, for the first measuring, we have 2 channels, 4 Ohm, both channels are loaded.
And we're measuring one channel to see how much of clear signal comes out of it at 4 Ohm.
Are you ready, Arty?
Okay, Arty's turning gain' to make it smooth, we get it up to the cliping level and then a tad down to get clear signal.
Here we have the system voltage. Went down to 13.6 now.
There's a slight clip. Move it back a little. Just a slightest bit, to get clear sound. A bit more.
Here's a sine, and we can see 36.2 V by 9 A.
36.2 V by 9 A. And we get 325.8 W by 4 Ohm.
Not bad. 325.8 W of pure signal with two channels loaded at 4 Ohm.
Now let's check out the dirty signal at 4 Ohm. I doubt you're gonna get it during daily use of your system.
But let's just do it for the sake of the interest to see what the amp can do at all.
Both channels are loaded. both are 4 Ohm. Now we're just going full swing.
And now we can turn on the peak hold. We're not interested in real clear result anymore.
Square...
Could've gone more but you don't have more capacity, do you? Oh, you can do it with the HU.
Go full swing. Let's get it as square as possible.
43.4 V by 10.7 A. As a result, we have 464.3 W of dirty signal per channel.
Oh, and let's see the temperature.
[A]: This is the heat peak.
We're checking the power supply unit now. It is 34°C (93°F).
The next one is a 4 Ohm bridge. This one is for those who intend to use the amp as a monoblock for their sub.
Considering the cost - the official retail price is 15K for now. Dunno, maybe it will change someway.
Considering that, two of these could be good for the front, with the power we've already seen.
So, 4 Ohm, bridge, clear signal.
Wait, the meter is off. What the f... Oh, my bad. Okay, we can proceed.
Here, go back a bit. More, more -- here! Stop. 57.8 by 15.1
57.8 V by 15.1 A makes 872.8 W of pure signal.
Now show the temperature.
39°C (102°F). Warmed up a little bit.
But it's still normal. No big deal.
Now probably the most commo hookup arrangement. The most likely one, for sure. 2 channels, 2 Ohm each.
I mean, the normal way is 3-4 Ohm, but clearly people are gonna try and get more power for the samo money and wire it 2 Ohm.
o now we are going to check if you can pump up two nice doors with one amp like this.
What are our expectations? Like, 400 W per channel?
[A]: 400-450 W.
Prediction time. I think we should bet money on it. To make it all interesting.
Here's power.
Wow! Did you kick it up on the HU?
[A]: Yup.
It's good.
29.7 V by 15.5 A. Well, Arty, you were close. 460.3 W. Now go square.
That's it, right? The squarest we can get. 34.9 V by 17.7 A. 617 W of dirty signal per channel.
So here are the figures. 2 channels, 4 Ohm each, we got 325 W which is slightly more than the claim.
But, I think, you clipped a tad there, Arty.
There was a slight blip there.
Well, I think the claim was like that in the first place 'cuz they got a figure around this,
and they decided to round it up to a reasonable figure, without overloads.
When bridged, it gave out 872 W which is hell of nice for a bridged 2-channel, right?
[A]: But it had many laybacks along the way.
At 2 Ohm, the result was 460 W per channel.
I guess it could be dangerous considering the size of the amp. But we'll see it over time.
Anyway, I tink, even if something pops up over utilization, the guys will brush it up.
They're know to have never left their flaws unattended.
They keep groeing and getting better.
And now in a size this small they've managed to get sucha powerful device.
And accordign to Andrey, the schematics of this amp provides higher quality than that of other D-class amps.
The arrangement is so that with the power growth, the played frequency range does not go down.
This amp plays the higher range just as well, although the D-class amps are known for dropping the higher pitch
Here, Andrey claims the amps is gonna play with higher quality as compared to other D-class amps.
With higher power.
And a couple of words bout this marvel. Let's show the cooling.
It's two sided, right? In and out?
[A]: Yes, it's two sided.
It's so huge I can't even stretch out that much. Where's the second cooler batch? I don't see any.
[A]: What do you mean? They're inside.
Inside?
[A]: And it's very smart, too. For those who claimed this was an IQ20 or a copy of a Brazilian amp, this is a completely different amp.
[A]: It had a built-in processor, and from the moment of getting into its owner's hands, it remembers everything that's happened to the amp.
[A]: How many times you turn it on, how many times it goes to safety mode - everything stays in its brain.
[A]: And if there's a qustion whether it is a warranty case or now, Andrey can see it all instantly.
So you won't be able to say 'I did it all right'. The amp remembers everything that's happened to it.
The power, the resistance, the voltage - it will show it all.
Besides, it has a touch screen, right?
The previos ones were touch. This one is not?
[A]: No, it's not. It shows all the parametes, power input and output, resisrance etc.
[A]: The resistance dynamics -- and amazing tool for sports. I used it to finetune the Panda.
[A]: Never needed a clamp meter once.
Yeah, after every measuring, you can see all the figures.
[A]: And the errors, too. It shows all the errors.
All the errors go up the screen, too. The thing is very brainy.
It also has a very good way of exiting the safety mode. If the sys goes there, it just --
So if the mode goes on but the amp can see that the disturbance is no more, it goes back on asap.
[A]: So if you take off the cover with the amp on, it goes off instantly, and doesn't go on.
[A]: The backbone there is for you not to get toast by the electricity.
Because the power supply unit's voltage is 380.
The cost here is what? 170? Right. 170K rub is the cost, and before you start agonizing about how expensive it is
I believe, this is a pretty low claim. Because at the moment, for 130-140K we can buy what? A 10KW?
Or what is the current cost of the 10 KW amps?
[A]: 149K is one Deaf Bonce, I think.
So, a 10K amp costs 149K rub. So to get the same power you'll need -- well, yeah...
[A]: 4 of them. Over half a million rub.
Anyways, there is only one piece made at the moment, right?
[A]: Why? No, there's more.
Did they make more?
[A]: I witnessed them put together two more. They're making them, people are ordering them.
FYI, in the review of the most powerful amp we showed Quasar Q20. This one is Q30, so it's even more powerful.
And I got mocked a bit on the Instagram. I posted a pic and called the most powerful amp in the world.
People said, 'Don't forget to note it's 12V'.
So let me correct my mistake. It's for 12V. Because there really are more powerful amps.
Mostly in Brazil. Or only in Brazil?
But they feed off 220 V or 380 V. Stetson, Taramps, Sun Digital have some.
They do have high voltage models that give out more power but they need to be fed off all mains.
Not off the internal power network of the car, and not off a power cell.
That is a bigger game.
I do understand that reviews of this kind are needed, and people keep asking for them.
But - I mean, yeah, this is an informetive bit, and people are gonna look for it and use the info later.
But let's be honest, it is not really entertaining and funny. I don't think anyone had a blast with the action and the joke load.
However we are going to keep doing reviews like this.
Sorry, guys, if car sound is not why you're here.
We're gonna keep testing stuff. Why we haven't been doing it so much? First of, it's not that interesting anymore, neither for you nor for us.
Why is that? It's because there's a huge load of new amps coming out all the time, we just can't keep up.
You can't possibly test all of them, and we're trying to move away from the comparative style.
But we're sure gonna show the most excitig stuff. And for those eft out of reviews, text us on vk.com for consultation and all.
We will share our experience regarding which ampgoes better with which sys etc.
So you can get a consultation regarding the models you are interested in.
You can get the info support on our website loudsound.ru or right here, on our vk.com page.
Feel free to ask questions there.
Europe. Everyone's waiting for the Europe trip. I have finished processing all the action-cam videos.
Now, I'm digging into the videos from the second cam. And there are some made with an iPhone.
So it's a lot of work. After I'm done, Arty and I will take a seat here, and start commenting it.
So we will incert our comments in between of the videos 'cuz some things are not really clear there.
So please, get together. This is gonna be a very long video, for fans only. Sure it's not gonna go viral.
The current timing is reaching 40 min, I think it's gonna be 1 hour or more. I'll try and cut it so that you don't get bored.
So keep waiting. I agree, it's not fast. Tbh, this is a long-term project, and I neve prioritize those.
Because I always do what's more interesting for me to edit and watch in the first place.
And the Europe I do in between the reviews.
So... The Europe is on its way.
The '13. Poeple keep asking 'bout it. It's going to be renewed, and we'll have a new review for the 2017.
It was changed last year, and the year before. The '13 is not stuck in one place.
[A]: Two years before.
Arty keeps coming up with new ideas.
Well, believe it or not, the '13 was started as a project in 2013. It is 4 years old already.
This year, something new, something interesting is coming up. The sound will be different.
I don't now yet if it's gonna be louder or lowers, but it's gonna be different for sure.
Wait up for the '13. Wait up for the '07. We have so many projects. Sorry, we don't have enough time for all.
Leave your comments on what else you'd like too see.
We often get ideas from the comments. Which doesn't mean we can fulfil all the requests.
But very often, people share interesting idea, so I keep it in my mind.
And then we develop this idea. So if you have any interesting ideas, please, feel free to share them.
That's it. Bye, everyone. Live LOUD!
What the heck are you doing? They're gonna get cultural shock!
[A]: Can you touch it? You can't!
[M]: Do you speak English?
I speak.
[Speaking English]
[Coming soon]
Yes, for now, just the measuring, the install is later.
So they are measuring the car that is not 100% IN the measuring contest yet.
Fun, huh?
[Threatening in English]
Fuck EMMA!
So what, Arty? Buying this one?
[A]: Yep.
A good one.
Well, not bad. BMW is better, right? And Mercedes? Is Mercedes better?
No? And Audi? Is Audi better? No?
Lexus is better than all or something?
This plastic in the middle is weird. It's no luxury. Luxury my ass!
[A]: It's a sport car. Why the fck do you need one?
Let's go check out some nice cars. They're next door.
And right after a Lexus, here's a contrast. Why don't they do this in Lexus, huh?
[A]: The price.
Hey, Arty, look! It says, 'Morel'. Looks like it's car sound. Let's go check it out.
It says 'Morel'
But it's closed. Like everything is on Sunday.
What the hell is this?
[A]: Why is he wearing red underpants?
Let's get ouot of here. Or they may think we're interested.
Look at that!
Do you like Europe?
[A]: No.
