Pan-am flight #2: new 2016 Porsche Panamera in pictures

The second-generation Porsche Panamera has come out the blocks fast, with a claimed Nurburgring lap record for a sports saloon. The 542bhp Turbo model, which costs €153,000 on the Continent, scored a 7min 38sec Nordschleife time – the same as a 997 GT3s.

The design is less bulbous than the 2009 originals but still recognisably Panamera, the new engine range is faster and more economical (of course), and the most pronounced improvement comes inside with a much more high-tech cockpit influenced by the 918 supercars.

The new Panamera is a completely redesigned vehicle, said Porsche chief Oliver Blume, unveiling the car in Berlin on 28 June. The second generation has become more sporty, more comfortable and more beautiful. Its even more of a Porsche..

See the new Panam at the 2016 Paris motor show. I'm an England player: how quickly can it get me out of Europe?.

Very quickly indeed: the new Panamera Turbo, with its bi-turbo 40-litre V8, can accelerate from zero to 62mph in 3.8sec, or 3.6sec with the Sport Chrono pack. Top speed is a phenomenal 190mph.

The engines are redesigned and in the Turbos case downsized, with the turbos mounted in the V between the cylinder banks; the upshot is a more compact engine which can be mounted lower in the nose (improving the design and centre of gravity), and with shorter intake paths sharpening throttle response.

The 542bhp Turbo has an extra 29hp and 52lb ft compared with its predecessor. One cylinder bank can shut down at low loads, enabling the engine to run as a four-cylinder and reducing consumption by up to 30%.

The Turbo returns around 30mpg, and emits up to 214g/km of CO2. Its fitter than an Icelandic defender too, with kerbweight dipping to a still-chunky 1980kg. What other variants are there at launch?.

The base car is the €113,000 Porsche Panamera 4S with its blown 2.9-litre V6, while the launch diesel is the €116,000 4S Diesel. That 4 signifies a new development: this time the diesel is offered with four-wheel drive.

And its the V8 bi-turbo diesel from Audis SQ7, though here without the additional electric kompressor.

Peak power is 416bhp, while max torque is a volcanic 627lb ft, coming on stream at just 1000rpm. The result is the worlds fastest diesel production car, with a v-max of 177mph, and 0-62mph in 4.5sec.

Officially, the D4S will return 41mpg and puff out 178g/km of carbon dioxide.

And the 434bhp petrol 4S? The stat fest is: 4.4sec 0-62mph, 180mph, 34.4mpg - up 11% - and emissions of up to 186g/km. All are helped by an all-new, eight-speed PDK twin-clutch auto box.

Fast is to be expected. Any surprises on the new 2016 Panamera?.

The cabin certainly moves the game on. Footballers will recognise the style of the slanted centre console from their 918s; it has a black finish and no discernible buttons, like your smartphones screen.

Even the louvres on the central air vents are controlled by touch-sensitive sliders. 3-inch screen dominates the centre dash, while two more TFT screens are in the binnacle, either side of the analogue tacho.

Apple CarPlay, Porsche Connect online functions, a more natural voice control system and night vision are also plumbed in: its a tech geeks paradise. This Porsche will also pilot you, thanks to the InnoDrive system.

Similar to the Audi A4s autopilot, it combines navigation info such as speed limits and topographical information with radar and sensor vision, to calculate optimal acceleration, deceleration and gear selection to virtually chauffeur you.

A Porsche driving itself – isnt that rather missing the point?. True. But this G2 Panamera is based on Porsches new MSB architecture, which will also underpin other group models including next-generation Bentleys.

Its a bit of a techfest in every sense. Base cars ride on steel springs, but air suspension is available with electronic damper control (Porsche Active Suspension Management).

The chassis alphabet soup also includes the PDCC Sport control system to counter body roll and PTV Plus torque vectoring to put the power down cleanly. Another new Panamera development is the introduction of rear-axle steering from the 911, to sharpen turn-in. .

A brace of hybrids are in the works: expect one eco-biased fuel sipper and a more outrageous, performance-oriented Panamera Hybrid too. How big is it?.

At just over 5m-long, the G2 is 35mm longer than before, and a scant 5mm wider and taller.

The standard wheelbase is bigger too, the rear roofline reduced by 20mm to eliminate that hunchback look, and the front wheels shifted forward to improve the proportions.

The design is much more handsome, but it still looks like the front and rear ends of a 911 grafted onto a limousines cockpit. Wheel sizes span 19 to 21 inches.

The order book is open now, with right-hand drive deliveries due in autumn 2016. . We've already ridden in the new G2-generation Panamera at its final sign-off – click here to read Georg Kacher's thoughts from the passenger seat of the new Panam.

Jurgen Klopp on "unbelievable" Roberto Firmino and where Sadio Mane & Mo Salah can improve - Duration: 4:00.

Jurgen Klopp on "unbelievable" Roberto Firmino and where Sadio Mane & Mo Salah can improve

Jurgen Klopp has discussed his new-look forward line, hailing Roberto Firmino and explaining how Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah can improve.

The arrival of Salah from AS Roma for a club-record deal this summer has provided Klopp with a new key player in attack, joining Mane and Firmino.

With Philippe Coutinho missing in action as he pushes for a move to Barcelona, Klopp's forward setup is established and, so far this season, performing.

Firmino has scored twice and assisted twice in four appearances for the Reds in 2017/18, while both Mane and Salah have netted two goals and laid on another from out wide.

Liverpool's attacking trio shone in the 4-2 midweek win over Hoffenheim in the Champions League play-off, with Firmino the standout performer for Klopp. "Who was in doubt about Roberto [before Wednesday]?" he asked reporters at Melwood on Friday.

"Sorry, anyone who was lost my respect one-and-a-half years ago already. He is an unbelievable player.

"Working hard, everybody speaks about the passing game, but it's the challenges he makes defensively, chasing them from behind, all over the pitch. They couldn't get rid of him.

"That is the character you need to make the next step with a team which is already good.

Mane spent the final two months of last season with a knee injury that required surgery in April, but the Senegalese has hit the ground running on his return.

And Klopp believes Mane is already much-improved on the player who arrived from Southampton last summer, but insisted the 25-year-old "can still improve.

"Yes, Sadio has made a big step. Being more clear in all the situations. Passing in the right moment, dribbling in the right moments, always being a goal threat," the German conceded.

"He had a long break but he has started so well. Last season he didn't start too badly either. At Arsenal he scored a nice goal. "Sadio is not at the limit. Like all these boys, he can still improve.".

As for Salah, who left Serie A for £36. 9 million in June, Klopp feels that, despite his impressive start, the Egyptian is still getting to grips with his tactical demands.

"You can see Mo is on the way there. Not that used to it. Not using the body that much," he explained.

"He's a different player to Sadio, same speed, but a different player. He played a completely different position last season, he was the second striker at Roma.

"He is a winger—he can play this. He has defended 500 percent more already than he did in the whole of last season.".

Given they have already contributed six goals and four assist between them, the potential within Klopp's attacking trio is clear—and that they can still improve is hugely encouraging.

Liverpool vs. Arsenal Preview - Reds' first heavyweight clash of the Premier League campaign - Duration: 5:02.

Liverpool vs. Arsenal Preview - Reds' first heavyweight clash of the Premier League campaign

Liverpool host Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, as both sides look for positive results going into the September international break. Arsenal. Sunday, August 27, 2017 — 4pm (BST)AnfieldPremier League.

These matches just always seem to be about the most entertaining in the league, with goals galore and controversy never too far away.

There have been 20 goals in the last four Anfield meetings between the Reds and the Gunners, and you wouldn't bet against the average staying the same this weekend.

Liverpool's 4-2 win over Hoffenheim in the Champions League play-offs in midweek was a massive boost, and it should give them a huge amount of confidence going into Sunday's clash.

That said, legs may be slightly tired from a relentless 90 minutes, so Jurgen Klopp's much-lauded "heavy-metal football" may make way for something a little less intense.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are not a happy club at all right now, with Arsene Wenger continuing to split opinion like no other manager in football.

Last weekend's 1-0 defeat at Stoke City was hugely disappointing, and a quiet transfer window and the same old mistakes on the pitch have ensured their supporters are in meltdown yet again.

The north Londoners are still a very good side when they click, though, and with talisman Alexis Sanchez returning and new signing Alexandre Lacazette a real threat, there can be no doubting that they will cause Liverpool problems.

On paper, you would say the Reds should have a little bit too much for their under-fire opponents, but this will be an end-to-end contest full of unpredictability.

A win would be a huge, in terms of keeping momentum going into the international break.

Philippe Coutinho is still unavailable due to 'injury', as rumours about his future show no sign of going away completely just yet.

Nathaniel Clyne and Adam Lallana are also unavailable, as has been the case in every game so far season, with the latter expected to be out until November.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Emre Can are doubts for the game, but Klopp has been quick to stress that the issues are "nothing major.

The Liverpool manager may make changes after his side's efforts against Hoffenheim, but he could also feel he can get one more big performance from his key players before they head off and represent their countries.

Andrew Robertson has a chance of replacing Alberto Moreno at left-back, despite a good performance from the Spaniard in midweek, and James Milner could push for a start in midfield, in place of Georginio Wijnaldum.

As mentioned, Sanchez is back for Arsenal after injury, which is a big boost for the visitors, and Laurent Koscielny has completed a suspension.

In his pre-Arsenal press conference, Klopp discussed the return of Alexis Sanchez, stressing the Reds cannot just focus on the Chilean:. "If you are too much concentrated on [Sanchez], then 100 percent Mesut Ozil will show up.

"Giroud, Lacazette, Walcott, Welbeck [too], then Ramsey shoots from 25 yards, or Xhaka shoots from 40 yards.

"We have the tactical tools to make it more difficult. When we have the ball, we need to know where to play—that's what preparation is about.". TV & Live Blog Info.

The match is live on Sky Sports Main Event from 3. 30pm (BST), with proceedings at Anfield getting underway at 4pm.

Our matchday live blog will be up and running from 3.15pm, with loads of pre-match content and minute-by-minute updates during the game. Henry Jackson is in charge of keeping you entertained.

Liverpool FC Transfer News & Rumour Roundup - Sakho bid, Origi availability, Demirbay interest

We round up the latest Liverpool transfer news and rumours, as the final week of the summer window promises furthers ins and outs on Merseyside.

The Reds will round off the first month of the season at home to Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, before the September international break.

With three wins and a draw from their first four games in all competitions, including a 6-3 aggregate win over Hoffenheim in the Champions League play-offs, Jurgen Klopp's side are in great form.

The German will be looking to build on that in the transfer market before August 31, and here's the latest from the rumour mill for the Reds. Reds 'Firmly in the Frame' For Oxlade-Chamberlain.

With just three players arriving to bolster Klopp's squad so far this summer, the hope is further reinforcements are secured ahead of Thursday's deadline. One possible signing is Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has been on Klopp's radar since the start of the year.

According to the Mirror, the Reds are set to make a "huge push" for the 23-year-old, after he rejected a new £180,000-a-week contract offer from the north London club.

Reports claim that Arsenal are now ready to sell Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has just one year left on his current deal, with the Gunners valuing their No. 15 at £35 million.

The Reds face competition from Chelsea for his signature, but "Oxlade-Chamberlain's team-mates think he is more likely to go to Liverpool. West Brom Set For £30 Million Sakho Bid.

Liverpool are still yet to secure departures for some of their out-of-favour talents, too, most notably France centre-back Mamadou Sakho.

Sakho has spent the summer working his way back to full fitness following a knee injury, but is not in the frame for a first-team return under Klopp.

Now, according to the Telegraph, West Brom are set to meet the Reds' £30 million valuation of the 27-year-old, as they prepare to sell Jonny Evans to Man City. Crystal Palace and West Ham have also been credited with an interest in Sakho, but neither are likely to match West Brom's offer.

City's pursuit of Evans is said to be heading towards a deal worth in excess of £30 million, financing the Baggies approach for Liverpool's No. Liverpool Could Sell Origi Before Deadline.

Another player touted with an exit before the end of the transfer window is Divock Origi, with surprise reports emerging on Friday night.

Origi was left out of Klopp's matchday squad for Wednesday night's 4-2 win at home to Hoffenheim, with Dominic Solanke and Daniel Sturridge preferred on the substitutes' bench.

And the Telegraph have claimed that Liverpool "may be prepared" to sell the Belgian, who is eager to play regular first-team football.

Tottenham, Anderlecht and Marseille are all said to be interested in Origi, though the likelihood of the Reds parting ways with the 22-year-old seems slim.

These claims seemingly stemmed from Klopp's comments ahead of Sunday's clash with Arsenal, saying Origi was left out in midweek due to the strength of his attacking options. Coutinho to Request Champions League Omission.

Elsewhere in his pre-match press conference, Klopp discussed the fitness of Philippe Coutinho, and the prospect of the playmaker joining the Brazil squad next month.

"If they want to see him and check him, he has to go there," he told reporters. "I don't know exactly but I think it will happen. We'll do it, it's no problem.".

This is something of a surprise, given Coutinho has supposedly been sidelined with a back injury since the start of the season, as he pushes for a move to Barcelona.

Coutinho's latest attempt to force a transfer surfaced on Friday evening, with beIN SPORTS claiming the 25-year-old has told the club he doesn't wish to be part of Klopp's Champions League squad. However, both the Liverpool Echo's James Pearce and the Times' Paul Joycehave maintained that the Brazilian won't be sold.

Klopp 'Interested' in Future Demirbay Deal.

Finally, one of Hoffenheim's standout talents from the Reds' two-legged victory, Kerem Demirbay has been linked with a move to Merseyside. German publication Bild claim that Klopp spoke to the 24-year-old after Wednesday's clash.

"Liverpool have already made Demirbay aware that [Klopp] can imagine seeing the midfield strategist in the red jersey," they report.

However, it is suggested that a move for the midfielder is unlikely to come this summer, with Demirbay signing a new contract with the Bundesliga side in February.

New 2016 McLaren 570S Sprint track car revealed: 570S pulls on its running shoes - Duration: 3:12.

New 2016 McLaren 570S Sprint track car revealed: 570S pulls on its running shoes

McLaren Automotive's entry-level 'Sports Series' 570 models are supposed to showcase its softer, more sensible side.

But a company with racing roots can clearly only contain itself for so long, and Woking's rollcage and dive plane divisions have just finished work on this, the McLaren 570S Sprint.

It's a non-road-legal, stripped-out version of the 570S junior supercar, with slick tyres, cast magnesium wheels and a generously proportioned fixed rear wing. If you're a trackday fiend with expensive tastes, this could be the car for you.

Where can I race the McLaren 570S Sprint?. It's designed to be a track toy rather than a racing car, but if you get bored of trackdays an upgrade pack is available to convert the car to FIA GT4 competition spec.

The Sprint is based on the 570S GT4 race car currently campaigned in the British GT Championship, and shares many of the same aerodynamic upgrades over the road car.

However, the Sprint features the same suspension as the road car, and the same 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 and seven-speed transmission.

McLaren hasn't disclosed any power or torque figures, but they're unlikely to be weedier than the road car's 562bhp and 443lb ft. A rollcage is standard, a passenger seat optional. How much is the McLaren 570S Sprint?.

You can pick from any of the same paint colours as the road car, plus more or less any colour you'd like McLaren Special Operations to mix, if you're happy to pay for it.

Opt for standard McLaren Orange and you're looking at £148,000 for a base-spec 570S Sprint (plus taxes) – not cheap for a trackday plaything, but still around £1.8m less than a P1 GTR….

The McLaren 570S Sprint makes its public debut at the 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Catch it there in the Supercar Paddock, or watch it in action in the video below.

The Green Hell is upon us – Merc's new AMG GT R unveiled - Duration: 8:19.

The Green Hell is upon us – Merc's new AMG GT R unveiled

Honed and tested at the Nurburgring, the newly unveiled Mercedes-Benz AMG GT R even has a colour named after the famous circuit – AMG Green Hell Magno.

The world debut may have taken place at Brooklands Mercedes-Benz world in Englands leafy Surrey, but there's no doubt as to where this car's spiritual home is. .

The third member of the rapidly expanding AMG GT family, the R is Merc's most powerful production car since the SLS AMG Black Series – although Mercedes maintains the GT is a very different car.

The GT R has a Nurburgring laptime likely to dip under 7min 20sec, according to Tobias Moers, the head of Mercs AMG division. By way of contrast, the GT S laps the Nordschleife in 7min 30sec.

And that name? Nissan have no problem with the name - we havent heard from them, he told CAR. The AMG GT R has some rather big boots to fill then – what's the engine like?.

In essence, it's very similar to the 40-litre twin turbo V8 fitted to the regular 503bhp AMG GT S. Delve into the AMG engine witchcraft however, and a whole swathe of changes are afoot. .

Let's start with the turbos. Out go the old ones, in come the new.

Just like on the standard car, they're fitted inside the V configuration, in a system Mercedes refers to as 'hot inside V'. Benefits include a more compact engine design and faster responses from the turbos.

Theyve been uprated to give greater boost pressure and liberate more power – 577bhp to be precise; 74bhp more than the AMG GTS and a full 84bhp more than the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. .

Mercedes also promises re-optimised exhaust ports and a modified compression ratio, the entire combustion process retuned for track use (though this is a road car).

The dual-mass flywheel remains – Mercedes choosing not to go down the Porsche 911 R route of offering a single-mass unit – though it's 0.7kg lighter than that in the AMG GT S. A worthwhile diet, as less weight equals freer revving.

Handy then that the AMG GT R has three exhausts – a large one in the centre and two smaller ones located on either side of the rear diffuser.

Their tips sheathed in carbonfibre, each pipe benefits from two infinitely variable exhaust flaps delivering sounds from V8 burble to hell-raising howl, according to AMG bods. .

All of this means a 0-62mph time of 3.6 seconds, while top speed is damn near the double century mark at 197mph. It may well have been more were it not for the unique transmission configuration in the AMG GT R.

Situated in a transaxle layout over the rear axle, the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission has been extensively revised for track use – meaning a longer first gear and a shorter seventh.

Expect your upper torso to be violently pinned to your seat right up until the 197mph v-max, then. Sounds very AMG-ish, but this is a product of the Nurburgring. How will it handle?.

Like a GT3 race car, if Mercedes AMG's level of fettling is anything to go by. First off, at 1555kg, its light.

Not so much as to trouble the featherweight 911 GT3 RS, but slight enough to give a greater power-to-weight ratio – 371bhp-per-tonne to the Porsche's 347.

Mercedes has achieved this in part thanks to the extensive use of carbonfibre – its super-rigid nature stiffening the AMG GT R even further.

Add a rear-biased weight distribution of 47:53 into the mix, plus a standard-fit electronically controlled limited-slip differential and the front-engined, rear-drive Merc promises the obligatory tail-happy action.

Speaking of steering from the rear-end, active rear-wheel steering makes its way onto an AMG road car for the first time, the system promising greater agility at lower speeds and improved stability at higher velocities.

Optional ceramic brakes are available should things go pear-shaped, also boasting a 17kg weight saving. . Proper track cars have aero. Let's start at the front.

Underneath the AMG Panamericana radiator grille (inspired by the Mercedes 300 SL racing car that won the legendary Panamericana road race in 1952), there's a wide front splitter designed to reduce lift, while additional air curtains optimise air flow towards the wheelarches.

Active aero also plays a big part in the AMG GT R's handling prowess. Special louvres around the front end open and close in order to optimise airflow around the car, while a carbon component plays a similar trick on the underside.

Accelerate beyond 50mph and the component moves downwards by 40mm, sucking the car onto the road and reducing front axle lift at 155mph by 40 kilos. .

Move around the back, however, and things are a bit more old school, a double diffuser and giant rear wing being standard fit.

That said, the blade running through the centre of the rear wing is manually adjustable depending on the prevailing conditions of your B-road blast. Think DRS rear wing, but done by hand.

All in, the multitude of aero adds an extra 155 kilogrammes of 'weight' when running at top speed. Should be pretty sticky. .

If you're lucky enough to be able to buy one, the AMG GT R will go on sale in November 2016. There is no production limit on numbers and CAR expects the R to cost around £130,000. .

New 2017 Citroen C3 revealed: it's Cactus take 2 - Duration: 6:42.

New 2017 Citroen C3 revealed: it's Cactus take 2

Here it is – the striking new Citroen C3 – a five-door only hatchback set to replace the French manufacturer's best-selling model. Itll take centre stage at the 2016 Paris motor show, where it makes its world debut on the companys doorstep.

Golly, that's quite a bold design…. The old C3 sat in the shadow of the eye-catching DS3 somewhat - the same can't be said for this new car. We like it, though.

It feels like a return to form for the traditionally left-field manufacturer. There's even a C3 WRC rally car on the way to look forward to.

As you've probably noticed, the C3 borrows a few external styling cues from the larger C4 Cactus. Not too many though, as the French manufacturer was keen to avoid producing something that looked like a junior version of that car.

So you get a two-tone exterior paint job with contrasting roof, a family-familiar two-tier front light design, and a protective strip of Airbumps on the lower door (not standard on lower trim grades, and can be deleted from higher grades if youre not a fan).

These are made of the same scratch-proof material as on the Cactus (aliphatic thermoplastic polyurethane, apparently) and help to absorb knocks and scrapes in busy car parks.

Is the interior just as colourful?. It's a bit more restrained indoors, but follows the same formula – a sprinkling of Cactus bits, plus some unique elements too.

The door cards and luggage strap handles have been carried over from the larger car, but there's a traditional set of gauges rather than the C4's digital unit.

It feels superbly solid and durable, with tough plastics used in high-wear areas and an expensive-sounding clunk when you slam the door.

Helping you settle in is something called the Citroen Advanced Comfort programme, which guides the design and materials used inside the C3. Most noticeable in this respect is the work that has gone into the front seats.

They manage to be both squashy and supportive, with plenty of adjustment.

Those in the back are slightly less well-catered for, especially tall passengers. The middle seat is a bit of a squeeze and there isn't a vast amount of headroom for anyone.

But, to be fair, this is a small hatchback, not an MPV.

Unlike a lot of youth-focussed cars in this segment the C3 doesn't appear to be chasing after a sporty character. In fact the S word doesn't feature anywhere in Citroen's C3 press material, unlike the word comfort, which featured 25 times.

That's reflected in the engine line-up too, which tops out at 108bhp. Full UK spec hasn't been finalised yet but expect a choice of PureTech three-cylinder petrol and BlueHDi diesels, with manual and automatic transmissions.

All this is supposed to make the C3 feel like an extension of your home, so you get large, comfortable seats, plenty of storage spots, and (unlike our actual house) a general lack of clutter.

This is in part thanks to the migration of most of the controls to the seven inch touchscreen. Everyone has a touchscreen these days, what other cool tech is there?.

Headlining the gadget line-up is the Citroën ConnectedCam, which works a bit like a GoPro and dashcam combined.

You can use it to take pictures or videos of your drive, plus it will automatically record footage 30 seconds before and 60 after a crash.

The camera is fitted behind the rear view mirror and looks out on the road with a wide 120 degree angle. There's no facility to turn it around for selfies, which is probably a good thing.

Pictures and footage can be uploaded to social media via a free Citroen app, which also lets you save the GPS coordinates of your C3 to help locate it in a big car park.

I'm not going to lose it in a car park. Good point, it's unlikely to blend in, particularly if you take advantage of the wide range of customisation options.

First off there are nine body colours and three roof options, with the latter also taking in the foglamp trims, Airbump surrounds, wing mirror shells and the rear window trim.

This isn't standard on some base models but Citroen reckons half of all cars on the road will be two-tone.

Interior customization takes the form of a choice of three optional moods, altering the upholstery material, dashboard trim, and various other highlights. These are called Metropolitan Grey, Urban Red, and the fabulously named Hype Colorado.

The new Citroen C3 goes on sale in January 2017. No cabriolet or sporty editions are planned yet, but well keep you posted if that changes.

Ford paints history: new GT '66 Heritage Edition revealed

It was inevitable, really.

Ford is launching a new GT supercar a nice round 50 years after its original GT40 won Le Mans in 1966, and now it's just announced the 'Ford GT '66 Heritage Edition,' finished in the same black and silver stripe livery as the victorious Chris Amon/Bruce McLaren-driven car, complete with No.

Anything else special about the Ford GT '66 Heritage Edition apart from the paint job?.

It's essentially a cosmetic job only, with exposed carbon fibre exterior trim details, and its own special set of gold one-piece aluminium 20in wheels. You can pick from either gloss or matt finish for the black body paintwork.

Inside, there's black leather everywhere, with gold details and blue webbing for the seat belts, a nod to the '66 race car. How many '66 Edition cars is Ford going to make?.

It'll be available in 'limited quantities' for the 2017 Model Year only – so not many.

As to whether you'd have to follow the time-honoured tradition of sticking a strip of tape across the race number graphics to drive the new GT '66 Edition on the road in the UK remains to be seen.
