and I don't know like this is a very feminine touch but maybe if I want to
look super fly I might pop the color and then I'm super fly like I said
hey guys welcome to my channel welcome back to my channel and I ended up having
another Amazon boutique reach out to me details here and I'll put the details
down below and they're like hey we sell denim jackets do you wanna try out a
denim jacket and we'll give it to you for free for an honest review which you
know always providing honesty and I was like yeah I need a denim jacket so they
sent me a denim jacket then they're like hey by the way another package
accidentally came to you and we sent you
another one and another one and another one I got more I'm boy and this and this
so I have six things of denim to show off to you guys and I am thinking like
what am I gonna do with all this denim and I realized I have always wanted to
do DIY projects with denim but you know denim is a little bit pricey when you
get the good quality stuff and I never wanted to risk it before I get started
let me show you what one of these jackets looks like on which one should I
pick these jackets aren't for women but their boyfriend cut something says so
you are going to get the grunge you're going to get a little bit of bulk to it
so you got the sleeves which again they're gonna have that bulk to it but
what I love is this is high-quality thick denim so if I want to flip up and
roll them up they're going to fold it's not gonna fall down on you I'm in love
with how they distress this jacket and looks very random and it's all
throughout
and I can button it oh my gosh sometimes I'm really bad at buttoning and I do
them the wrong buttons did I button this right yes thank goodness
so again you can button it the buttons are a little bit tight the first time to
go on because like I said this denim is thick well now that I have given my
approval of this jacket let's get into the DIY portion I found this there's
like another version with the same brand but the other one said synthetic and I
figured since like this one's all-purpose it's just it seemed more
classic like I could trust it better guys I found the aisle so the other one
I don't know I think I got you know like fabric dye but this is like what I need
this is like the sorority section how did I like I was in the sorority I
should have been able to sniff out this aisle
a long time ago so we are back and I have washed the jackets now I will tell
you you're gonna have to wash them about twice because you can tell that they're
obviously you know from Amazon distribution center and storage they
come to you in plastic wrapping it's gonna take some of those smells into the
denim but after two washes yeah I don't smell it anymore so just know when you
get them you're going to give them a little bit extra TLC and then they're
good to go so this jacket I want to keep as it is to myself because it's just
perfect the way it is and then sorry you can like hear my bed move it's it's
really creaky so then the second jacket my mom may have seen me get all these
jackets and may have claimed this one for herself I have the third one
packaged up going somewhere cool and it's gonna come back to me so I'm gonna
get back to that later in the video so now the jackets that I have left to do a
little DIY with is one two three I was greatly inspired by the extreme
cutout jeans so I figured it's summertime in Texas it gets really hot
and apparently this is really in style
so far this just feels so so wrong
again let me just use this as a pillow as I tell you what I'll be doing with
this jacket now it's going to have cutouts
however it's not going to be as extreme this is going to be like ventilated this
is the best way because look what I got to replace it you can see this right
it's fishnets and I think that this will be very biker chic
I think these are even but I know they're not but I think this is the best
I can do so I'm moving on I got to flip this inside out I think
I don't even want to talk about it so instead let's cut to this I have a lot
of faith in this jacket I'm actually pretty excited for this to return to my
doorstep but now let's go into the final thing and this one it does not involve
scissors so pretty confident not confident in my skills but just maybe a
little bit more confident so uh let's go so it's a hundred degrees out in Dallas
Texas and I decided this direct sunlight would be good because if we're gonna be
dipped dyeing denim I need this water hot I mean don't get me wrong I didn't
just like wait to watch the water boy oh boy the Sun I added some boiling water
but this will keep it good because we need this very hot during the whole soak
period
okay I'm just gonna let it do its thing I'm so far it looks really really black
and I was going for that but wow it's really really black I don't know where
my visions gonna take me so the jacket dried and you know from certain like
distances it looks black other times it really just looks like dark denim the
bad thing about it is the sleeves like I think they look great but sometimes they
kind of give the illusion that by I drag my sleeves there's something dirty and
so I really need to make this look like it's been done on purpose so I got this
glitter spray to top it off it has a sealant so I think it's a one and done
job it's silver so it's gonna show a bit hopefully I am NOT gonna spray my
beloved camera so I'm gonna be over there spraying watch me go
can't show you the final product yet but I'll tell you what I mean the spray goes
on well but it's very very mild it does not look like a glitter rub it's kind of
hoping for the glitter rub but I'm not gonna attempt that because this jacket I
think is gonna turn out well two weeks later I am proud to say that I
have finished with my DIY projects I want to show you guys the finished look
and let me know in the comments what your like and what your not liking but
to play just tell me you like them all because I worked really hard on this one
last look as the jacket untouched by me so exactly how you'll get it if you
choose to buy it like I said I recommend it but if you're also in the mood for a
summer DIY project coming at you now there's only one way to wear this jacket
I can't believe I'm doing this give me a second not only am I good at
jackets I am good at making a DIY crop top I have to remember how to even wear
this I don't know if you guys are just laughing your butts off cuz I'll tell
you what my mom was laughing her butt off when she saw this
oh my gosh okay give me a second had to button my sleeves because my hands are
too small and they're still kind of small but at least it's able to catch so
it's able to hold up and do you think that I mastered the extreme cutout does
that look like you'd pay high dollar for this if so let me know cuz I'll tell it
to you yeah about that I am NOT going to show you that jacket I didn't have it
completed in time because I messed up the entire DIY now I plan to have a
second attempt with it and I'll put that on my Instagram so you're gonna now have
to follow me there to see it and I mean it I'm gonna work hard on it take my
time it's gonna look good this jacket is beautiful crazy neat and I collaborated
with this because he is able to always make all of my visions in my head come
true I'm putting this on and I can already feel myself get better at the
video game actually no I can't I'm still really bad but I'm improving
and now it's gonna look like I'm improving twice the rate with this cool
jacket and then check out hours of that just a little accent piece
got one more to show you if you guys follow me on my social you might have
seen a sneak peek but look at this I attempted dip-dye and if you look you
can see the sparkles you can do the sparkles right I think I would keep the
collar pops for this because there's something about it that makes them look
and I would say that in the end because of the sparkles I didn't make it look
dirty like I mentioned I feel so tough like this like I'm Harley Quinn or
something that's the end of my video thank you guys so much for watching to
the end and make sure to like a comment and subscribe
and please leave a comment on what your favorite jacket is and maybe give me
some inspiration on completing that very last jacket because I'm bad bye
