Youtube daily report Jun 25 2018

When you're identifying a potential threat to democracy, what are the ingredients that go into that?

What are the indications that we have a problem?

There's no perfect test to identify an autocrat but we draw heavily on Juan Linz, the Spanish political scientist.

Taught at Yale for many years.

He was born in Weimar Germany, grew up in the Spanish Civil War and Franco's Spain.

Really spent much of his career trying to understand how and why democracies die.

And he in a book – very widely cited book published in the 1970s – put together what

he called a litmus test for identifying authoritarians, and we kind of take that and repackage it

a little bit and try to present it a bit more clearly in our book.

And that litmus test has four elements, so this draws on Linz.

One of them is calling into question democratic rules of the game.

So for example, Trump's calling our elections rigged and suggesting that he might not abide

by the results of elections is an example that.

Two is threatening to suspend civil liberties of opponents or the media.

Three is encouraging or condoning violence.

And fourth is not accepting the legitimacy of your rival.

So those are the four indicators that we use and we argue in the book that during the 2016 campaign,

Trump checked off all four boxes.

He met all four indicators and this is something that no major party candidate in the United States did.

HTC Vive Wireless Adapter - Everything You Need to Know - DisplayLink - E32018 - Duration: 10:28.

Ciao guys Tyriel Wood here, in this video gonna talk about the display link

wireless adapter for the HTC vive made of course by display link in

collaboration with Intel where the conversation with Andy Davis to this

director of marketing and sales in display link itself but first thank you

so much for watching the new brand the channel feel free to check out all their

opinion the channel included all the other from entry and if you like what

you see you went to keeping that data about via and Technic general just click

or tap the subscribe button so you don't miss anything

but let's go back in topic and let's see together why this technology is really

working so well spoiler alert of course and how this

technology works ok let's start talking about the conversation we had with Andy

Davis that is director marketing and sales as I said before in display link

and he was kind enough to answer a pretty much every question I'm gonna

tell you of course what he wasn't able to answer and also explain me a little

better how this technology works so we're using a 60 gigahertz connection

that is not new to the market because typical is already using it but here is

using a more refined way I'm gonna explain you why so what they are aiming

to do is substitute in pretty much everything in the cable that is

connecting their HTC vive in this case with our computer and if true that cable

is gonna go cameras are gonna go microphone audio and of course a lot of

resolution and where the typical slack of course is that he has to use an

external router for like tracking and stuff the cameras don't work and with

the basic software so the one that you're gonna buy directly work to be

cast without using the open typical software even the microphone is not

gonna work and that is all solved with their solution that is using the yd

connection from Intel and what I'm working for actually is not the

connection itself but is the chip that inside the adapter that permitted

encoding and decoding of every image everything every data that is passing

through to make this possible so as you can see the wireless adapter

we have two antennas two antennas because the 60 Giga connection is

particular because he's not like a torch so something that spread a lot of signal

light in the case of the torch but it can be more comparable to a Lazar point

where they're gonna aim exactly from where is the antenna and going back to

where is the transmitter to make the connection as strong as possible of

course like they have two antennae because the person will move around and

sometime is gonna create an occlusion because the 6e bigot connection is not

really able to pass through object but the good thing is like it's going to

bounce around in the nature of course of this frequency signal and bouncing

around as nd was explaining the bandwidth will change but because in the

chip they have an out of scale that is of course dynamic so they can just

change the compression on the fly for the different bandwidth they're

receiving to preserve every time the best image quality possible and of

course to make it not been visible to what is the normal costumer like can be

me on you or everyone else for my personal experience it was perfect as

you can see from the video was crying at the end to really cover pretty much

everything in the antenna but I wasn't able to have any kind of artifact

nothing and we're talking about the ìiî floor where there are lost the

connection going on so Wireless everywhere Bluetooth phones computers

everything like if you were opening the list of what the wireless we weren't

going back crazy and that was the open space tube so every kind of national

work able to go true but there were not interference whatsoever and everything

was working just flawlessly with a perfect latency and perfect experience

overall also what he told me about that they have a lot of ad room for like a

future write set because now the HTC vibro is supported like natively without

any problem and they have ad room for much much more resolution where the 60

gigahertz connection use three different channels so if they want are gonna be

able also to open just a new channel and start to share data for another channel

to to add double or triple of course the information going through now this

channel I use right now for multi user purposes so you

have like three in the same spot where the transmitter is gonna use three

different channel and transmit to three different ad set and we're talking about

that like you're talking about work environment or stuff when you need more

ad said to work all together and that is gonna happen without any problem

the transmitter itself has to be in line of sight of course because has to have a

visual on the adapter directly on our headset and that transmitter connected

to the computer through a PCI card and an antenna cable a coaxial cable there's

two meters seems like they're not gonna be able to go over two meters for some

reason but they said that two meter and enough because the average person is not

more than two meters anyway so you're gonna be able to put it up close to the

lighthouse and they're not gonna be interference at all and you're gonna be

able to have a good side of you on it so talking about the our way we have the

two antenna but the signal is reachable even from the body so you should cover

everything to really have an occlusion for a disconnection we have on the front

the connection for the regular HTC vive with the USB cable and the HDMI and the

power and on the back we have the display port for the HTC vive pro and a

USB port for the battery because that USB port is not for data or nothing is

just for the power of the adapter and the question that came along of course

seeing that USB port was there's no data there but there's an USB type-c port in

the vibro there in a USB port on the HTC vive are we gonna be able to use like in

the future like maybe stuff that we connect directly like I'm talking about

the leap motion or maybe in the future like an eye tracking for Toby that is

connected directly in this USB is this fling gonna be able to transmit that

signal chill they said that they are aware of that and of course they're

gonna work on it but now the focus is really about to F the best experience so

far for the customer for the regular and said outer receive it so without the

connection tracking video audio and everything else

what about top resolution they really don't have a top resolution right now

they have a lotta lot of bad rooms so they're gonna be able to go over

different generation of that sets without any problem and what about

latency has a number to be sure they said that they're not really true and

they're not really able to calculate the number because of the different

bandwidth going to do and of course the different compression that they have to

give every time so they kind of levitate every time up and down but for my

personal experience I can tell you that I didn't find any problem whatsoever in

latency they're aiming to zero and to me they look very very close because when

the TP casts I had some problem like because I have this out-of-body

experience as I said in the first impression video with these everything

was just perfect it was really exactly how if I was using the cable in that

moment I was also asking about the distance that you can cover with this

wireless solution and he actually told me that is over the distance that the

path to point zero tracking cover there are 15 feet

I believe so I'm gonna be able to go over and there's not gonna be problem at

all for your totally a room scale experience of walking around

of course we dub cable that's why and what you wanna of course do what about

footer proof of course if footer proved they're working on the chip so these one

is gonna be for HTC vive and vibro probably in the future we're gonna see

other way to show it but their technology is completely foolproof noise

tomorrow they add a new ad said with tribal the resolution of the vipro

they're gonna be able to use the same chip in the same way and give the better

experience without any problem without changing many things because everything

is up to the bandwidth of course the encoding and decoding of the signal and

I have to say that everything looks so good so polish there really we are

really really close to the final step you don't really a lot of stuff you just

need a PCI card the transmitter with a coaxial cable and your receiver the

battery life woulda be around 2 hour 2 hour and a half but you can opt of

course for bigger batteries without any the battery they were using is a batter

that you can find on the HTC Store probably you can also use different

batteries but there nothing to share about it because it's all about HTC and

as Andy said marketing about that is about HTC so they don't know the price

or maybe they know about their and can't share it because everything is gonna be

up to HTC and these are kind of scare me because we know the HTC price policy and

stuff and how they marketed the HTC vipro and kind of scare that this is

gonna be very very expensive and much more than what the typical is at a $2.99

that is already a pretty high steep point to get in a wireless VR because

sometimes you can get like in Windows mix reality a cheaper add set instead of

just something to just put on top of the ad said that you already had to buy in

the first place we have finally a win double relays that

is gonna be q3 so that means very very soon I can really wait for it anyway

guys if you liked the video like you didn't like the video dislike let me

know in the comment below what you think about it if you have any other question

I'm really really happy to answer that if I forgot something please let me know

in the comment below so I can tell you everything subscribe to the channel for

more about VR and tuck in general I see you guys the next video ciao

[AION 5.8] 100 x Relics. Ancient Mystery Event - Duration: 4:36.

Hello, everyone!

Today I'll try to participate in this Ancient Mystery event.

There 3 types of rewards.

The first one is called Ancient Relic, and you can obtain it by exchanging 1 soul.

Soul – is a key item, it can be looted from bosses in HD instances.

So, you get 1 Ancient Relic for 1 Soul.

The next reward is called Unsealed Cube.

Every week you get 3 Magic Cubes per character and you need keys with corresponding color

in order to open them.

If you do that you get 1 Soul + another Magic Cube.

With a little chance you might obtain this Unsealed Cube.

The keys are given every 30 minutes if you stay online, but maximum 6 per day (per character).

And the last reward – Ancient Holy Item.

You can exchange 15 Souls for 1 Ancient Insignia.

And when you collect 14 Ancient Insignias, you can get this item.

Btw, for low level characters there's a possibility to exchange 1 Soul for 10kk XP,

or 10 Souls for 110kk XP (female NPC).

As for the reward list, it's very decent.

Especially, that Ancient Holy Item.

14 Ancient Insignias = 210 Souls.

I don't feel like grinding that much in order to get something like +8 manastone bundle

or 1 untradeable serum/APES.

So, my aim is Ancient Relic, cuz I need Minionite.

I know I'll more likely be getting trash.

But, at least, I'll open 100 of those relics.

As you can see, I've got 15 x Minionite, which means, it dropped only 3 times

out of 100 relics.

Let's face it, it could've been even worse.

Well, the skin is nice, but why does it look like I have a... pen1s, when I try to sit down?

What the hell?

K-12 Release 13.07 - Duration: 5:40.

Hi! My name is Derek and I'm part of the K12

User Education team at Blackbaud.

Let's take a look at what's new for the June 27 release.

Core

The early adopter program for Blackbaud's

authentication service is already underway.

We plan for staff at schools to be able use

Blackbaud ID to authenticate into the 'ON' products

later this summer. Staff and students

are not required to log in with Blackbaud ID this summer,

but we strongly recommend you do so when it is available.

In preparation for this coming update, you may

notice a change to the appearance of the login

screen with this June release for all users –

even if you are in the early adopter program.

On July 9, 2018 all K-12 schools who use

Blackbaud's School Management Solutions

(which includes Core, onBoard, onCampus,

onMessage, onRecord) will convert to a new top navigation.

Until then, these changes are available to

schools in the early adopter program.

This update primarily affects administrative

employees who have multiple "personas."

We've also made a sort of "map" to help guide you through the change.

Use the search and filter options to limit the results the list shows.

You can find this map from the user community,

any recent release letter, and any recent hot fix letter.

onBoard

We've significantly expanded our support for

overlapping grades in onBoard. For schools

with multiple grade levels, users now see a

better organized list with grades grouped

within the appropriate School Level, making it

easier to find the grade you're looking for.

The areas of the product that have been

updated with overlapping grades support are:

Resource Board for guardians that apply additional children.

Candidate Profile

School Forms recipient finder.

Candidate Checklist Settings

onBoard Official Notes.

Contract Fee schedule.

Contract Form cover page.

School Form regarding block for parents.

Enrollment managers that are setting up the

SAO application integration can now sync

applications that were submitted prior to the onBoard installation.

To take advantage of this feature, schools need

to first enter a date in the settings so that

applications submitted prior to their installs get

pulled in to onBoard. This ensures that all

SAO applications are accounted for that

season and prevents the need to move

between systems or manually upload the static link.

We now require the CVV number from credit

cards for responsible signers when filling out a Smart Tuition enabled contract.

Any manager with access to school forms now

have the option to delete templates and

associated submissions. Upon selecting delete,

a warning and confirmation appear to prevent

accidental deletion. Once the form is deleted, it can't be recovered.

With this release, schools can now delete

forms with 1000 or less submissions. We are

working to enhance performance to support

even higher volume deletions in the future.

onCampus

Gradebook managers now have one task for managing Gradebook settings.

Under onCampus, Settings, Academics, select

Gradebook Settings to adjust Marking Periods,

Grade Access, and Letter Grade Scales.

The newly added Default gradebook settings

provides gradebook managers with options to

assist in grade calculation methods for each

school level on behalf of their Teachers.

Also part of this change:

Marking Period and Grade Access have been

combined into one task. Access to Cumulative

Grades and Assignment Grades can now be set independently.

In addition to the roles we supported before,

Grade Access can now be set for the coach role.

Administrators can set up default values or lock

down specific options for Gradebooks including

calculation methods, decimal point precision, and more.

Teacher Display Options and Gradebook Set-up

from the Gradebook has also been updated

to honor the grade access and defaults being set by managers.

When adding or editing an assignment, the

Assignment Types that have been specifically

configured in the Gradebook Setup appear by default.

Teachers can view the entire list of Assignment

Types, if they need to use one for an

assignment that is not being included in the Gradebook.

For teachers who use onCampus Assignments

but not Gradebooks, we now show the most

frequently used Assignment Types to make selecting the right type easier.

Thanks to your feedback from the Rubrics

Usability Survey, we've made several quality of life updates.

A UI enhancement to the Assignment Center

now makes it easier for students to determine

which assignments have a rubric attached.

We've also removed the character limitation on

the level descriptions to give teachers more room to explain expectations.

Similarly, students and parents viewing the

Rubric no longer see a truncated level description either.

onRecord

Schools participating in the Report Card Builder

Early Adopter Program will have a few new features available to them:

Schools can now add Legends to their Report Cards.

Use the Legend widget under Summary to add

your legend to your report card. Schools can

select to display the abbreviations, grade labels

and ranges for the selected grade translation.

In the courses section, schools can now

suppress blank columns so that they'll

only appear when students have grades for that column.

Schools can now specify a grade plan for

selected grade plan grades, this will only be

available when a grade plan grade is used in multiple grade plans.

Schools can now style just column headers for

specific sections of the report card such as grades.

Remember to check out the release letter for

details about features mentioned in this video

and information about additional new features and enhancements.

As always, thanks for watching!

. U vzdálenějších objektů (soused v bytových domech, dům přes ulici) bych byl s vynášením závěrů o nebezpečnosti velmi opatrný," říká Martin Kuchař, vedoucí pracoviště Laboratoř forenzní analýzy biologicky aktivních látek VŠCHT Praha

Kriminalisté odhalili v centru Brna varnu pervitinu. Autor: Policie ČR  O vlivu aerosolů pervitinu na zdraví člověka se toho zatím moc nepublikovalo: „Problémem dlouhodobého styku s látkami metamfetaminu v ovzduší se dnes nikdo nezabývá
